#WaybackWednesday: Five months ago, my friends and I attended the 10th Anniversary open mike jam that was held at the Brunswick BBQ & Brew in Cropseyville,NY. The open mike jam was dedicated to my good friend and super music fan, Richard “Dick” Masters Quinn, who frequented the Brunswick BBQ & Brew to attend their open mike jams and came out to support and hear live music from many local bands that have performed at this venue and many other venues throughout the Capital Region. Today (11/28/2018) has been three years since my friend has passed away. I honored his life and his memory by gathering for lunch with his children and a close friend of ours at the Ale House. It was a nice day to remember the life and the impact that Dick had in the local music scene & beyond. To this day, I continue to be influenced by his love and drive for music by going out to the community to support my musician friends at their gigs and attend community events and other performances from other national acts with my close friends while documenting the great things that occur in our community!!
