Designs for adult versions of the clone cadets in bad batch as Rebellion leaders
The first weird thing I noticed was that they kept specifying that tbb are "defective CTs", whereas iirc most other clones leave out the "ct" part. additionally, "special training" must have been a reasonably expected occurrence for them, since it was used as the Hemlock-jungle-lab excuse. they're also, oddly enough, the only three survivors from a base full of both cadets and adult clones. and finally, all three of them have noticeably different face shapes.
so my guess for their origins is that they're the results of the kaminoans trying to replicate tbb's mutations in a commando template, making them all specialized CC command cadets. From what we've seen of them, they don't seem to have quite as prominent abilities as say, wrecker or hunter, but are definitely above average to have survived that long.
Anyways the mini-backstory for them here is that they end up joining the rebellion around 5 years later (assuming that they're 6/12 and 8/16 in tbb s3, they would be 11/22 and 13/26 here) as the lead squad for the clone rebel cell after rex, wolffe, and gregor retire (and echo and cody are presumably dead).
Bonus: I originally had Deke's hair as dyed blond, but then he started looking too much like Rex (esp with the jaig eyes and partial arc armor) so I changed it back

(Also why did he have his helmet on in the shower???? Was he afraid Charles would read his thoughts in the shower? What was he thinking about 🤔)
he can't even take a shower without some tom tittery happenin and everyone wantin to shag his ambiguous husband he gotta investigate 😔 got the helmet on so charles cant hear his murderous thoughts.... or what overly complicated scheme hes gonna pull just to have a date night with charles depends on the day really

also flails aren't real.
ok they are real but there is no evidence of them having widespread use for military means. I mean, obviously, just imagine trying to use them in the mosh pit of medieval warfare.
I don't super care about this of course I'm just a history nerd and I love flails in fantasy. I bring this up bc every time I see someone complaining about "historical realism" (poc characters, women having any role outside of mommy/sex doll) they never seem to complain about the flails.
Let me make one thing extremely fucking clear

How effectively can high-quality helmet save your life?
Tumblr media
A sensation of independence on the open road is provided by bicycling. However, there are serious risks involved in cycling without a helmet. In the event of an accident, a bike no longer provides structural security to safeguard the rider. Riders riding motorcycles want to adopt greater safety measures to safeguard their bodies. The head defence is the most vulnerable location. Windsor provides top-notch helmets to keep you safe.
Why is it necessary to wear a helmet?
Both cyclists and passengers may benefit greatly from wearing a bike helmet. But people frequently stop wearing these safety helmets, which can result in disastrous tragedies.
Because they protect your head and are one of the top causes of fatal and bothersome brain injuries for cyclists, bike helmets are recommended. According to the Nationwide Dual Carriageway Visitor Protection Management, bicycle helmets have a cardinal efficiency of 88 per cent in reducing head and mental injuries. Helmets are the best feasible way to reduce the risk of fatal or serious brain injury.
Stop the wind
We quickly experience the wind in our faces when riding a bike. These days, high-end helmets are thought to feature a two-wheeled accent that prevents the wind from striking our faces at fast speeds. As a result, we notice when debris like dust, filth, and grime lands in our eyes and faces.
Protects against the sun
Construction site workers are regularly exposed to the sun’s rays, which can harm their health. Wide-brimmed safety helmets are the best options because they may offer sufficient protection from the sun’s damaging rays. As a result, workers can be absent for an extended period without experiencing any negative effects on their health.
To guarantee your employees’ safety, ensure their safety helmets are in good shape. Make sure they must fit perfectly. If hearing protection is required for the task, employees shouldn’t forgo wearing hard hats. Additionally, premium helmets with integrated hearing protection are available.
Respect the Laws
In general, laws are made to shield many individuals from danger. If you don’t wear a helmet in some severe countries, you lose your permission. His social control, though, comes later.
Setting a good example
You should always wear a bike helmet for your health and safety and for your friends, family, and children. By encouraging helmet wear among your friends, you raise awareness, which attracts the attention of others around you.
On the majority of group tours, a helmet is additionally necessary to be brought. Group rides are a fantastic way to meet local cyclists, discover new routes, and socialize with like-minded individuals.
Where do you find premium helmets?
Windsor is the industry-leading producer of safety gear and driving helmets in India. They take pride in catering to each customer’s demands by providing superior quality helmets and accessories in all sizes.
1. The quiet strap fastening on the Windsor helmet fits the helmet snugly. A button on it enables you to utilize it as an excellent, open-face helmet.
2. Its shell provides good bicycle traction. You won’t have any more neck ache because of its lightweight design and internal use of foam.
3. If the government decides to establish statutory rules on helmet standardization, properly licenced helmets will also spare you from having to pay penalties or suffer consequences.
4. Because the helmet liner wicks away moisture, you may wear your Windsor helmet for long periods without feeling tired or uncomfortable.
5. The helmets are also comfy and light, making them perfect for lengthy journeys.
A bike helmet lowers the risk of fatal falls and severe brain injuries by absorbing most of the impact energy instead of the head and brain. A helmet, however, is just as important as  a helmet that fits properly. Windsor offers top-notch helmets for purchase online.

If NASCAR can make stock cars (this means chassis and shape that are the same as yours) that can go 200mph and wreck head-on and do a dozen flips in the air, and the worst that happens is a concussion, with the car even still almost intact, then you can make a street legal car do the same at 40% of that speed.
Here's one of the wrecks btw. He was taken to a local hospital for observation, not even a concussion (NASCAR reports injuries to everyone for transparency), and he raced the next week. (Although he did have a couple bruised eyes iirc)
youtube
He climbed out of the car almost completely under his own power.

#undescribed#irl death /#yes yes nascar cars are significantly more expensive#but iirc it's the engine that's the most expensive besides labor#but the difficulty in keeping the driver safe goes up exponentially as the speed increases#and for this type of racecar and the types of tracks they drive they cannot safely go over 210mph#which is why they mandate the restriction of air intake to the engine during superspeedways#but that's besides the point#i watched it live and thought i watched a man die#the nascar policy is to not show replays of a crash until we know the driver is okay (ie they drive off or get out of the car and can walk)#also they have flaps to keep the cars on the ground but it occasionally doesn't work#don't get me wrong: sometimes nascar has serious injuries#in 2021 i think it wasone of the biggest names got a concussion so bad he had to retire midseason#but they also came back i think it was the next week with adjustments on every car to keep it from happening again#and some years ago between 2009 and 2014 one driver got a compression fracture in his spine#i think the same crash broke his leg?#also i wasn't actively watching nascar then so idk for sure but they more than likely took his car to the r&d people to figure out went#wrong to keep it from happening again#(''oh but dale earnheardt!'' he had an open faced helmet. nascar changed its rules about safety after he died and made several safety things#mandatory. including closed helmets.)#anywho#what tesla probably does is sees those little wrinkles and hardens their steel more so it won't bend ever#Youtube

Since we all agree that people of the Alley of Crime adore Red Hood and believe in him, I think it is time to imagine Jason in a scene similar to the one from OG Spiderman, where his identity is accidentally outted in front of crowd of people, and they all are just choose to protect him and help him out.
So maybe Gotham is facing especially nasty trouble, and vigilantes are on the receiving end this time. So maybe Jason is thrown at the dirty Alley in his part of town, wounded, with helmet flying off, and there is just a crowd of people staring as bleeds out, astonished. And Jason thinks, oh, that's the end — he can go and shoot himself, honestly, because he just failed the man rule every vigilante have: never show your face, never reveal your identity.
But people are... helping him? His eyes are half-open, breath laboured and pained, but all he hears is gentle murmuring:
'God, he is just a kid...'
'He must be younger than my son.'
'Poor child...'
He feels soft elderly hand against his cheek as someone from the crowd, an ex nurse, comes closer to bandage his injuries, while a kid, barely with the size of his helmet, brings it back, sticking out their tongue as they try to place it back on his head, to hide his face.
'It is okay,' the old woman reassures him. 'You are safe with us, son. We hadn't seen anything.'
Jason's eyes sting, because, oh.
It is his people. He loves them. He will die for them.
And they love him just as much.
He still waits for someone to out him, though. But the week ends, the villain is out of the picture, and no one says a thing. The only proof that it ever happened is civilians, who keep waving at Jason — not Red Hood, just Jason — when their paths cross somewhere in the shops or streets.
And that's how he knows that it is them; it is them, and they keep him safe as much as he keeps safe them.
