My Diego Luna thirstwatch is hitting a rough patch with Open Range, an old-fashioned Western directed by and starring Kevin Costner. He gets injured about a third of the way through and then pretty much disappears. 😭 it's too boooooring. Maybe fast forward to see if he wakes up… The things we do. The last actor I watched crap stuff for was Sebastian Stan. ETA: I managed to finish it. Diego, aka Buttons, woke up and got in a gunfight in which he got shot again, but it looks like he survived. Diego enjoyment score: 1 out of 5

me and my friend watched Open Range (with Kevin Costner) on NYE and it's such a good movie. and it made me realize one thing.... the romance plot line isn't central to the story but it is very important.

and you know what the "grand romantic gesture" is at the end? a character overcoming self-hatred for their loved one to give them both a chance at happiness. and now I'm sad bc I know they never let Dean do that for Cas.

that's literally what the ending should have been.
