your last post abt icemav vs. interior design has me cry laughing and also makes me want to ask: how does rooster (millennial gay man, fairly good at being open about his sexuality in comparison to the the environment he came from) feel about being one-uped in the gay department constantly by Mr. and Mr. Can’t Talk About It?? like him and jake have to have conversations about it [jake, meeting ice the first time: oh this is the gayest man i’ve ever met. he had everyone fooled for thirty years???? // bradley: “yeah but you didn’t have to grow up with him. i was on the front lines.] like—they were willing to get married at the same time as icemav as a distraction, so they have to be aware of how groundbreaking icemav is to the structural appearance of the Navy. but they’re also fully immersed in Navy culture and customs, so are civilian gay people even surprised??? do they care??? or is everyone collectively reading through twitter like “gay men in navy? okay fork found in kitchen 🙄 who cares.”
this is all just a long way for me to ask if icemav is easier to pick up on/less surprising if you’re gay. bradley clocked them early because he was in close quarters with them constantly, but he’s also gay—in comparison, slider knew ice for years, but only added it up when it was way too obvious to ignore. and to other straight people they seem to be at an Ethan Hunt level of undercover, but are they really??? (this is kind of a dumb question so feel free to do whatever you want with it lol)
see i feel like i haven’t been writing them very obviously clockingly gay at all! i actually feel like it would piss Jake and bradley off how STRAIGHT ice & mav act all the time!

1st excerpt from post-marriage, second excerpt from a scene that got deleted from WWGATTAI chapter 9, wherein compacflt ice approves the promotion of a fictional “first female admiral to be married to another woman” and then runs into her at a DOD Xmas party and chats about gay marriage for a bit out of curiosity… (deleted bc chapter 9 was already 9.5k words) like it is still a secret even if they aren’t actively trying to keep it secret anymore
but you’re right hold on. here’s christmas 2017

Godzilla vs Biollante [ゴジラvsビオランテ] (1989)
Tumblr media
While Godzilla definitely has gone on forays into different tones before—All Monsters Attack is virtually unrecognizable when stacked up against the early Showa era flicks, kiddie clip-show nightmare that it is—this sophomore entry into the Heisei era of the King of the Monsters takes a real kitchen sink approach with genre. Opening immediately on the tail of Return of Godzilla, a solemn newscast reflection on the destruction of Tokyo quickly takes a turn for action as a group of American mercenaries make off with some Godzilla cells. This is easily the weakest part of the story, and any time that Morbius-looking motherfucker shows up you know you’re in for a bad time. Elsewhere, though, the filmmakers are experimenting with different things heretofore unseen in the Zillaverse. Transitioning away from using these kaiju solely as commentary on nuclear anxieties is both fitting to the changing times of the 1980s and in keeping with earlier entries. This is perhaps closest to Godzilla vs Hedorah in that sense, though the titular antagonist in this film is more a product of genetic engineering and unethical tinkering than pollution and environmental catastrophe. The creation of Biollante is perhaps the most interesting through-line in the movie, the product of a grieving scientist fusing cells of a rose he’s hybridized with some of the cells of his deceased daughter to those of Godzilla. The end result certainly recalls Little Shop of Horrors in beats (minus the songs), and has a strong horror element especially in the revelation of the kaiju. But there is also a sort of proto-Guillermo del Toro energy to it in its empathy for a man who did the monstrous out of love, and the films demands for understanding of the beast. Biollante cries, not bellows or roars, and she comes through in the end to both put a stop to the meddling of the humans and help Godzilla.
While Godzilla’s personality evolves and grows throughout his run of movies, this marks something of a change. While Godzilla has been a protector or malevolent presence as the needs of the story arise, it’s always been with regard to the environment at large or the other kaiju with which he interacts. Here, beats play out almost closer to the recent Adam Wingard films than anything else. Godzilla shares a beat with individuals for a few moments and seems to have some intent, good or ill, in that regard specifically. The clairvoyant Miki Saesuga senses and communes with Godzilla, and in the close, Godzilla seems to acknowledge peacefully the presence of our leads. But he’s not always chill. Leading the plot to destroy Godzilla with special radiation-eating bacteria, Col Toro Gondo gets to talk shit to the kaiju to his face before getting the smackdown. By this trajectory, I can only assume Godzilla will be doing opening sets at the Comedy Store by the final Heisei film.
The Biollante creature design itself is a real coup de grâce. The initial iteration of the creature shows how imposing a presence can be even when still, the main body of the entity stationary in a lake. The wrapping tendrils do give Audrey II realness, though, it’s a shame it never burst into song. But the final evolution after being sent into space as spores is something to behold. Completely unique, it’s clearly a complicated puppet to manage, no simple person in a rubber suit (not that that isn’t impressive, either). CGI might have made things easier nowadays, and is certainly more complex than the charming wireframes guiding the Flame Mirror in this film, but creativity and craft were never lacking in good genre films.
THE RULES
SIP
Someone says 'cell(s)'.
Roses appear in a scene.
Wireframe model of something.
BIG DRINK
The Godzilla alert level changes.

Finding the Perfect Apartment Layout: Tips for Homebuyers
Right selection of apartment layout is that important decision for homebuyers wanting comfort, convenience, and a space that caters to lifestyle. Choosing the right one for your needs may be difficult as there are many options available. Here's a list of what to look for when finding that perfect layout.
Define Your Space Requirements
First, you must know your space needs. Do you require a dedicated office space or a spare bedroom for guests? Or perhaps an open living area will suit a social lifestyle? Defining your needs will ensure that what you pick will support daily activities and any unique requirements your household might have.
Functionality Over Aesthetics
While aesthetics are appealing, functionality should be the first consideration when choosing an apartment layout. Think about how you are going to use the space. For instance, if you like cooking and entertaining, an open kitchen layout might be ideal. Conversely, if privacy is paramount, you may prefer separate rooms with defined areas for different activities. Considering the functionality of the space can make daily life more convenient and enjoyable.
Consider Natural Light and Ventilation
Natural light and ventilation contribute the most to opening up a space. Upon visiting apartments, check for the windows' position as well as their direction. North and east-facing windows are the most preferred sources of daylight. A lighted room will make one feel more upbeat, get more productive, and reduce its dependency on artificial lighting thereby saving on electricity.
Consider Open vs. Closed Layouts
An open floor plan makes a home feel less like one, as it lacks space and walls are not found to be necessary to divide the rooms. Besides being less spacious, an open floor plan is more inclined to be noisier than a closed layout. Closed layouts, on the other hand, are generally able to be broken down to separate spaces with particular assignments to functions. Usually, which one best fits you largely depends on your lifestyle or preference.
Consider Your Options for Storage
Ample storage is an imperative requirement in any home. Keep an eye out for built-in storage options, closets, cabinets, and shelves as part of the interior designs to keep you in organized order. If such spaces are scarce, multi- functioning furniture pieces, including the ottoman with some inbuilt storage or mounted on a wall shelf, come handy. The thoughtful manner of incorporating storage will keep unnecessary mess at bay and leave most of the usable spaces utilized.
Account for Future Needs
A well-chosen apartment layout should be versatile enough to meet your changing needs. If you plan on having more children or work from home, you'll require extra rooms or flexibility in the space. Think of layouts that are flexible in use, such as a den that can convert to a home office or a guest bedroom. This kind of layout will make sure you do not outgrow the space too quickly.
Pay Attention to the External Environment
The surroundings of a building impact the comfort. For example, the balcony or big windows that give a view of grass or a city skyline is excellent. Consider the external environment of the building while making the layout, which sums up to the living experience.
Live in a Mixed-Use Environment
Because people today are very demanding with mixed use environments, such layouts of Brigade Neopolis kind have been made to make residence comfortable, at the same time provide easy access to commercial and recreational areas. The tendency of living where one can have both aspects of residential space with other urban amenities encourages community values with many places for dining, shopping, and leisure close to your front door. Try these options in such developments and live the way you want while combining the spaces of residence with other facilities of the city.
Test the flow of the layout. Take a walk through an apartment in what would be a real-life day. A really good layout flows easily, from one room to the next, with a sense of navigational logic from space to space. Think about how you move from one space to another-how you navigate through a building. A layout that compels you to make tight left turns or scurry down tight hallways can feel very confining, while open, intuitive flow adds comfort.
Stick to Your Budget
Lastly, it's important to balance layout preferences with your budget. Some layouts can have extra rooms or features that might be considered luxurious enough to cost a difference. Ones should discuss a budget beforehand and feature preferences that give value to everyday life. In that way, one will likely find a layout that meets needs without forcing them out of one's comfort zone in spending.
Conclusion
Finding the ideal apartment layout is not easy and requires consideration of your present and future needs and a balance between functionality and aesthetic appeal. You might be drawn to open spaces, multifunctional areas, or a mixed- use setting. However, taking time to evaluate each option ensures that you find a layout that feels like home.

How to Maintain and Care for Your Kitchen Countertops
Your kitchen countertops play a crucial role in both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of your kitchen. They withstand daily wear and tear, from food preparation to spills and stains. Therefore, proper maintenance and care are essential to keep them looking pristine and prolong their lifespan.
This guide offers tips on how to effectively care for your countertops, ensuring they remain a beautiful centerpiece in your kitchen. If you're considering an upgrade, a Kitchen Renovation Contractor can provide expert advice on materials and maintenance.
Tumblr media
General Maintenance Tips
Regular Cleaning: Wipe down your countertops daily with warm, soapy water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the surface. For granite and quartz, a gentle pH-balanced cleaner is ideal.
Immediate Spill Cleanup: Promptly clean up spills, especially acidic substances like lemon juice, vinegar, or wine, as they can etch and stain. Use a soft cloth to avoid scratching the surface.
Use Cutting Boards: Always use cutting boards when chopping or slicing food. This protects your countertops from scratches and deep cuts.
Avoid Heat Damage: Place hot pots and pans on trivets or heat pads rather than directly on the countertop. Some materials, like wood and laminate, can warp or scorch from high heat.
Seal Natural Stone Countertops: If you have granite or marble countertops, it’s important to reseal them every 6-12 months to prevent staining and moisture penetration. A simple test involves placing a few drops of water on the surface; if it beads up, your seal is still effective.
READ ALSO: Open Shelving vs. Closed Cabinets: How to Choose the Best Fit?
Care Based on Countertop Material
Granite: Reseal regularly and avoid using abrasive cleaners. Use coasters under beverages to prevent rings.
Quartz: While quartz is non-porous and less likely to stain, it’s still important to avoid harsh chemicals and high heat. Clean with mild soap and water.
Marble: Because marble is softer and more porous, it requires more care. Avoid acidic foods, and ensure to seal it frequently.
Wood: Wooden countertops need special treatment. Use mineral oil to condition the wood and avoid soaking it in water. Regularly sanitize with a vinegar solution to keep bacteria at bay.
Laminate: While laminate is generally durable, it can scratch and chip. Avoid cutting directly on the surface and clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
Professional Help
If you're considering a complete kitchen remodel or an upgrade to your countertops in Richmond Hill, consult with Smart Renovations, the top-notch Kitchen Renovation Contractor in Richmond Hill, to gain invaluable insights. They can guide you in selecting materials that suit your lifestyle and maintenance preferences while ensuring a cohesive design that enhances your space.
Conclusion
Maintaining and caring for your kitchen countertops is essential for keeping your kitchen looking its best. Regular cleaning, immediate spill cleanup, and understanding the specific needs of your countertop material will help prolong its life and beauty.

A Guide to Choosing the Best Features from Display Homes
When searching for the perfect home, many buyers turn to display homes for inspiration. Display homes offer a tangible representation of the possibilities, showcasing the craftsmanship, layout, and lifestyle potential of a new build.
They are meticulously designed to impress, making it easy to see why people fall in love with them. However, with so many options, how do you determine which features are best for your needs? This guide will help you navigate the Hampton style display homes in Melbourne process and choose the most important features from display homes for your future home.
Understanding Your Needs and Lifestyle
Before diving into the details of any display home, it’s important to understand your own needs and lifestyle. The house that works for one family may not suit another. Take stock of your family’s habits, priorities, and how you envision your living space.
Family size: How many bedrooms and bathrooms will you need? Do you foresee your family growing in the coming years?
Daily routines: Think about your daily routines. Do you need an open kitchen for cooking together or a quiet study for working from home?
Entertaining: If you love hosting friends and family, look for designs with spacious living areas or alfresco dining options.
Storage: Is there adequate storage for your lifestyle, including closets, garages, or dedicated storage rooms?
By starting with these questions, you'll have a clearer idea of the types of features you should prioritise.
Tumblr media
The Importance of Layout and Flow
One of the most crucial aspects of any home is the layout. While aesthetics and finishes might initially grab your attention, the flow and usability of the space are far more important in the long run.
Open vs. closed spaces: Open-plan living has been a popular choice in recent years, allowing for flexibility and connectivity. However, consider whether you prefer designated rooms for certain activities like a formal dining room or study.
Zoning: Zoning refers to separating areas of the home based on their function. Bedrooms should ideally be tucked away from entertaining spaces to ensure privacy and quiet.
Natural light: Pay attention to the home’s orientation and how light enters different rooms. Ample natural light can make a home feel more spacious, warm, and inviting.
Traffic flow: Consider how easily you can move through the home. Are hallways and doorways wide enough? Is there a logical flow from room to room, and does the layout promote ease of movement?
Kitchen Design and Functionality
The kitchen is often considered the heart of the home, so getting this space right is essential. Display homes usually feature stunning kitchens, but it's important to consider whether the design will meet your practical needs.
Appliances: While high-end appliances may look attractive, focus on their functionality and whether they fit your cooking habits.
Bench space: You’ll need adequate bench space for food prep, particularly if you enjoy cooking or have a large family.
Storage solutions: Look for clever storage options such as deep drawers, pull-out pantry shelves, or built-in cabinetry.
Flow: The kitchen should flow naturally with adjacent spaces, such as dining and living areas. An island bench can be a versatile addition, providing extra prep space and seating options.
Outdoor Living Spaces
Modern Hampton style display homes Melbourne often blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living, making the backyard, patio, or alfresco area just as important as the interior.
Connection to indoors: Check how the outdoor space connects to the living or kitchen area. A well-designed outdoor area should feel like an extension of your indoor living space, especially if you plan to entertain outdoors.
Privacy: Consider the level of privacy in outdoor spaces. Does the design include fencing or landscaping that ensures seclusion from neighbours?
Size and functionality: Think about how you’ll use the space. Do you need room for outdoor furniture, a barbecue, or even a pool? Assess whether the outdoor area is large enough to accommodate these features without feeling cramped.
Storage and Practicality
While the finishes and décor of a display home may steal the show, don’t overlook practical aspects like storage.
Built-in wardrobes: Check the size and quality of built-in wardrobes in bedrooms.
Laundry area: Is there a functional laundry room with space for appliances and storage?
Garage space: Consider how many vehicles you own and whether the garage offers enough space for cars, bikes, and tools.
Adequate storage can greatly impact the day-to-day functionality of your home, making it more organised and less cluttered.
Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Features
As energy costs rise and the focus on sustainability grows, homes that are designed with energy efficiency in mind have become increasingly popular. Many display homes now incorporate sustainable features, but you need to assess which ones are worth investing in.
Insulation: Well-insulated walls and windows can keep your home comfortable year-round while reducing energy consumption.
Solar panels: Some display homes feature solar panels, which can significantly lower electricity costs over time.
Energy-efficient appliances: Look for homes that include energy-efficient appliances and lighting, as these can also reduce your environmental impact and energy bills.
Water-saving fixtures: Low-flow taps, dual-flush toilets, and water-efficient showers can make a big difference in both water consumption and utility bills.
Finishes and Materials
Finally, the finishes and materials in a display home will often dictate the overall feel of the house. However, you don’t always need the most luxurious finishes to create a beautiful, comfortable home.
Durability: Look for materials that are durable and easy to maintain, especially in high-traffic areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and entryways.
Timeless vs. trendy: While trendy finishes might look great now, consider how they’ll age. Opt for timeless materials that will still look good in years to come.
Customisation: Display homes often showcase premium finishes, but you may be able to choose more affordable alternatives during the design process.
Conclusion
Choosing the best features from Hampton style display homes Melbourne requires a balance between practicality, aesthetics, and lifestyle needs. By focusing on layout, storage, sustainability, and finishes, you can create a home that’s not only beautiful but functional for years to come. Remember, the goal is to design a space that reflects your lifestyle, so prioritise features that will truly enhance your everyday living.

These cabinets offer a timeless appeal that's hard to resist. But what exactly makes inset cabinets so special, and why should you consider them for your next project? Let's explore this fascinating topic and uncover the world of inset cabinetry.
What Are Inset Cabinets?
Inset cabinets are a classic choice that harks back to when craftsmanship was paramount. Unlike overlay cabinets, where the door sits on top of the frame, inset cabinets have doors and drawers that fit precisely inside the frame. This creates a seamless, elegant look that exudes sophistication and craftsmanship.
This design requires precise measurements and expert craftsmanship, ensuring that the doors open and close perfectly without any gaps. Imagine a perfectly tailored suit—it's all about the fit. That's what inset cabinets are for your kitchen.
The Charm of Inset Cabinets
The appeal of inset cabinets lies in their clean lines and understated elegance. They evoke a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of traditional carpentry that highlights the skill and precision of its maker. The symmetry of inset cabinets can transform a kitchen into a work of art, where every detail is intentionally crafted.
According to interior designer Jane Smith, "Inset cabinets bring an unparalleled level of refinement to any kitchen. Their bespoke nature is both a nod to the past and a sophisticated choice for modern homes."
Why Choose Inset Cabinets?
Timeless Aesthetics
Inset cabinets have a timeless appeal, making them a popular choice for both traditional and contemporary designs. Their clean lines and classic look complement various styles, from farmhouse chic to sleek modern minimalism.
Durability and Quality
Due to the precision required in their construction, inset cabinets are often made from high-quality materials, ensuring longevity. They are built to last and withstand the rigors of daily use.
Customization Opportunities
Inset cabinets offer plenty of room for customization. You can choose the wood type, finish, and hardware to match your unique taste and kitchen decor.
Increased Resale Value
Kitchens with inset cabinets can enhance the resale value of a home. Potential buyers often appreciate the quality and aesthetics of inset cabinetry, making it a worthwhile investment.
Installation Considerations
While inset cabinets are undeniably beautiful, they do require careful planning and installation. The precise fit means that any misalignment can result in sticking doors or uneven gaps. It's essential to work with experienced professionals who understand the intricacies of inset cabinetry.

Overlay cabinets offer more interior space, while frameless cabinets provide a sleek, modern appearance. Inset cabinets, however, stand out for their elegance and precision.
The Role of Inset Cabinets in Kitchen Design
Inset cabinets play a crucial role in defining the overall aesthetic of a kitchen. They can create a cohesive look, tying together various design elements such as countertops, backsplashes, and appliances. Open vs Closed Kitchen: The Great Indian Kitchen Discussion
Open Vs Closed Kitchen: The Concept
The open kitchen models are distinguished by their seamless integration with the adjacent living rooms, frequently blending together with the living room and dining area. Because of its open and connected form, the kitchen is the centre of activity in the house.
Unlike open-concept kitchen designs, a closed-concept kitchen is a discrete area with walls and frequently a door that makes it a private place to cook. By separating the kitchen from other living areas, this classic design creates a distinct division between cooking and other activities.
Closed Kitchen To Open Kitchen: Before And After Transition Are Important
A home's ambiance and functionality can be significantly changed by converting a closed kitchen to an open one. Prior to the modification, those who were cooking may have felt claustrophobic and alone in a closed kitchen, which made social contact challenging.
Following the makeover, the kitchen expands to provide a roomy setting that promotes conversation and interaction. In addition to improving the space's general appearance and ability to let in more natural light, removing walls can also make it seem more welcoming.
Open Concept Kitchen Vs Closed Concept: Merits  And Demerits
Merits
a clear kitchen In particular, Indian designs promote social interaction during cooking with family and friends. They provide an air of spaciousness by removing walls to make an area appear larger and more open. They also add a modern touch that makes the house look more beautiful overall. A closed-concept kitchen keeps noise and odours from cooking contained, gives you a quiet room to prepare meals, and typically has more cabinet and storage space.
Demerits
Models with open kitchens may be noisy, and cooking smells could enter nearby spaces. They provide less privacy because cooking actions are public knowledge, which some people may find uncomfortable. When opposed to closed kitchens, they frequently have less storage, which encourages more clutter. Closed kitchens, on the other hand, may seem cut off from the rest of the house. Compared to open kitchens, they could feel more confined and smaller. In comparison to contemporary open-concept designs, they may also appear visually antiquated.
Open Vs. Closed Kitchen Cabinets Design
An essential component of both closed and open kitchen designs is cabinetry. Since open kitchens are accessible from other living rooms, attractive cabinets are frequently required. Popular options that provide easy access to commonly used products and a fashionable appearance are glass-front cabinets and open shelving.
Traditional cabinets with solid doors can be used in closed kitchens to maximise storage and conceal clutter. This gives designers of cabinets greater opportunity to prioritise usefulness over form.
Which Kitchen Is More Cost-Effective, an Open or Closed One?
The scale of the project is the primary factor influencing the cost of kitchen conversions. In general, the cost of an open kitchen may increase if barriers are torn down and design features are integrated with adjacent areas. But an open kitchen can also increase a house's worth and provide a return on investment.
Considering closed kitchens usually require less structural alteration, they might be more affordable. Remodelling projects may prioritise modernising countertops, cabinets, and appliances over completely reorganising the room.
Conclusion
When deciding between an open-concept and closed-concept kitchen, there are a number of things to take into account, such as budget, aesthetic preferences, and lifestyle. Open kitchens promote social interaction because of their contemporary, airy atmosphere, but they can also have drawbacks like noise and odour diffusion. Closed kitchens are good for people who want a separate area for cooking since they offer seclusion and containment. The ultimate choice should be in line with your individual requirements and how you see your kitchen being used in your house. Whether you choose an open or closed kitchen, careful planning and design may help make a place you'll cherish for many years.

Open Kitchen Pros and Cons | VMS Plus
Tumblr media
Open Kitchen vs Closed Kitchen
When choosing the best kitchen design for you, there is always that difficult choice — whether it should be an open or closed kitchen. Some kitchens are used as social areas, besides cooking and serving meals, while others are used solely for preparing and cooking meals and washing dishes.
Before you decide, it is essential to know what these two types of kitchens are, the pros and cons of open kitchen layout and the closed-off kitchen. So, let’s start with the first question.
What is an open kitchen?
An open kitchen has no walls separating the cooking area from the dining and living areas, referred to as “the great rooms.” The open-plan kitchen makes your space appear bigger than it is and facilitates the smooth flow between the common areas.
The open-plan kitchen concept has its advantages (Pros) and disadvantages (Cons), which are listed below:
Pros of an Open Kitchen
* An open kitchen is a smart way to maximize space, as no walls and doors serve as barriers.
* It allows interaction between families and friends, which is prohibited in closed-off kitchens.
* An open kitchen layout can accommodate more people.
* This open layout allows for the installation of a kitchen island.
* You can multi-task in an open kitchen. For example, you can watch TV while cooking and supervising the kids or entertaining some guests.
* More natural light can pass through an open kitchen.
CONS
These are the disadvantages of an open kitchen:
- The open kitchen is always visible to anyone who comes to the house, and it becomes self-evident if you fail to tidy up every time.
- The sound and smell of cooking travels to other house spaces.
- Cabinet space is limited because open kitchens do not have extra walls to place kitchen cabinets.
What is a closed kitchen?
A closed kitchen is a traditional kitchen layout. It is regularly seen in homes until recently. It has separating walls and barriers that differentiate the kitchen from the dining room, living room, and other spaces in the house. If you have a closed kitchen, you must go through a door before entering the space.
PROS of a Closed Kitchen
* You can hide the mess (if you do not tidy up regularly) by just closing the kitchen door.
* You have more storage. You get more options for placing cabinets, appliances and countertops.
* You can focus better when cooking or cleaning. People are unlikely to go out of their way to distract you from what you are doing.
* Cooking noise and smell are limited so that you won’t be disturbing other people in the home.
CONS of a Closed Kitchen
- Air circulation can be challenging unless your kitchen has expansive windows.
- A Closed kitchen usually lacks natural light, so it must depend on artificial lighting.
- The feeling is cramped and closeted, as this type of kitchen layout makes the space considerably smaller and will be crammed with your appliances.
The PROS and CONS of each type of kitchen layout tell the differences between the open and closed kitchens.
Important points to consider when choosing between an open and closed kitchen.
1. A closed kitchen offers more privacy and reduced noise. If you want a more private cooking experience or cooking-related noise to be separated from other house areas, your best option would be the closed kitchen design. It is also ideal if you have small children or pets, as you can have more control over your kitchen environment.
2. An open kitchen promotes social interaction. You and your guests can communicate with each other while the food is being prepared. There are no walls that separate the kitchen from the dining, living room and other areas of the house, so your space becomes more welcoming.
Conclusion:
Choosing between an open and closed kitchen should depend on your lifestyle and personal preferences. Consider your cooking habits and entertaining needs and preferences. There is no wrong or right answer because both kitchen styles have unique benefits and drawbacks.
If, despite the above, you still need help knowing which kitchen style is good for you, don’t hesitate to contact VMS Tradelink today, and let us talk about your renovation project.
