No confession was forced out of him. All it took were some melodramatic words and that was it. Yes, he wanted Silverweed to look into his heart, but it failed, apparently. Shouldn't that be enough justification that they shouldn't let the warrior get away with his claim so easily?

Sometimes he wonders why he even bothers. Rejoining his master has been nothing but aggravating. Attacking humans, attacking hrududus, allowing rabbits to suffer a monstrous fate at the hand of man, the list continues on.

Finding a quiet spot in this…..whatever kind of place Darkhaven is, Vervain began pacing around, kicking a stone out of his way. Maybe he should just go back searching for his brother. But that would mean getting attacked by elil left and right again. With a groan, the rabbit sat down, thinking about his next actions.

No matter what he says, the general won't listen. The audacity of Campion to attempt that whole thing again…

Left him for death. Yeah right. Just like when they did not believe that he was on their side.

But this time, he will have to be careful about it. He won't be seen as mad again. He is not giving Campion that satisfaction.

I think that instead of being super apprehensive about Jason and him dating Roy, Oliver should take one look at him and then one look at Bruce and go oh, I'm about to be so annoying.

Oliver starts being so nice to Jason. So nice. Inviting him to family dinners. Giving him both his hero communications and personal phone number and telling him to call whenever he needs something. He gives him new tech and keeps updating his weapons and armor. He helps with missions and clean up and says nothing if Jason is a little rough, apart from patting him on the back and saying good job. He starts keeping his picture inside his wallet and has other pictures of Jason, Roy and Lian framed in the house and tells everyone about him. He starts calling him son-in-law first and then just son and then calls him a Harper and eventually a Queen.

At first it was just to annoy Bruce, but after the first time he tells Jason that he did a good job and Jason starts to tear up a little, Oliver goes oh no, oh I'm actually doing this now. This my boy now. I don't care if he and Roy break up or something, this is my boy now.

Bruce still thinks he's just doing it for the sole purpose of pissing him off, though, and he is so fucking mad. The Justice League meetings have turned into a Cold War zone.

Bruce starts to being so nice to Jason as well, forcing himself to ignore some of the more outrageous things Jason does, and Jason is so, so fucking confused.

Enko had suddenly appeared from a portal a few weeks ago. The event luckily went without any notice. Of course, she didn't travel to the past by choice. But it was better not to get too much attention if she was stuck there.

Getting forged identity papers was a hassle. Yet once she had them getting a job was fairly easy. Though she kept her given name she decided to change her family name to something common like Kobayashi. She felt Todoroki would draw too much attention.

After a few weeks of working, she'd have a good amount of money saved and thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to visit a candy shop to build up a bit of a stash at home. However, she couldn't help but be somewhat surprised at how much cheaper everything was compared to the future. Whenever anyone asked about her reaction she normally just said that the stores she used to go to had higher prices. That was usually a good enough excuse. Though she figured they didn't really care all too much.

There were times she ran into someone she recognized. But since she was either not born yet or her past felt was still an infant her adoptive dads wouldn't recognize her. No one else would either. It was weird being the same age as some of the most popular heroes from her time.

Well, either way, she was glad a lot of her favorite candies still exist in this timeline. As she plopped items in a basket she wondered if she was stuck in the past this timeline would end up becoming a different timeline or something. Then again she figured her even being there was already a paradox.

But she couldn't help but think of what was being thrown away because of the villain that had sent her here. She had been able to get into UA and was on the path to being a hero like her father. Yet since in this timeline, she was already too old to apply and transferring in wouldn't be possible. Then there was the question of further messing up the timeline just by existing here let alone trying to go back onto the same path as she had been on in the future. Here the best she could hope for might be to become a vigilante. Unless she could get into a school that isn't UA. Even that seemed pointless.
