Chosen Muse: Dominic Angel-Wetherly

Aside from vampires, witches and demons, Dominic has also encountered hunters and slayers of all races, nationalities and genders. Being an ally to an exorcist was a rare occasion but he never refused to give them help, guidance and advice whenever they need it. Not even once.

This one particular hunter though, based on his observation, appeared to be unsure as to whether or not to take the chance to try, and most likely fail, to drive a stake through his heart. Threats don't mean a thing to him nor would it make him change his emotions from amusement to fear for his life and the lives of his family being in grave danger. They already knew about him as a vampire from his father's side but they never knew him as a guardian angel from his beloved mother's side. And they probably never will if he decides to drain them dry and drop their bodies like trash.

The half-breed's blue eyes shifted from the weapon in the hunter's shaky hand to the fearful look on their eyes, allowing the fear to be consumed by his presence. As crazy as it sounds, he's enjoying every second of it and he chuckled darkly before speaking in a low, deep voice.

"There are many ways to kill a vampire other than staking them. Unfortunately for you, those other weapons have no effect on me. Crosses are decorative, especially in churches and jewelry. I can eat a slice of bread with garlic butter. Holy water can be drinkable if you're thirsty enough to do so. I can walk in broad daylight without burning myself to death. Hmmmmmm. I know there's something else but I don't remember right now."

He smirked and took a step closer to the hunter, his body close enough for the tip of the stake to lightly poke him on his chest but not sharp enough to stab through him.

"You seem nervous. I can smell and see the fear in you. Your heart beating faster than the normal rhythm. Your pulse racing, your breath shallowing and..."

His eyes looked down at the veins exposing on the skin of the hunter's wrist and neck, his tongue sliding across his lips from the sight of it.

"...your blood flowing through your veins. You now have a choice to make. What will it be? Are you brave enough to do what you came here for? Are you brave enough to wipe away my existence and add it to a list of accomplishments on your foolish resume? Or will you surrender and allow me to take each and every drop of your precious blood? The choice is yours and if I were you, I would choose wisely."

the body against the tombstone was new. well, this body was. at first, stza assumed it was one of the other collective in the house who had gone out on a bender. now there was an unfamiliar face who looked...passed out? asleep? relaxing? against a small memorial to a dead and possibly forgotten. cryus would find it sacrilegious. stza merely felt concern growing. there didn't seem to be blood, which was a good sign. It was one of those days where everything was becoming too much for her to deal with. Aiden often tried to lift everyone's burdens and put them on her shoulders, no matter how she may be feeling that day. she tried to help those that needed it and was a listening ear to her family and friends. She would ignore her own feelings, her own pain when things didn't go the way she planned. But today was where everything just hit her at once. It felt she was being pulled in every direction and she couldn't take it. She wanted to scream, to make the world stop for just a moment to let her catch up. Daisy laid her head on her lap, looking up at her. She was ignoring phone calls and texts, keeping herself locked in her home.

She heard a knock at her door and she couldn't bother to answer it. Daisy barked, going to to greet whoever was there. Aiden took a breath in before getting up to go to the door. "No one's home." she called out to the other person on the other side.
