Located in far south of Sardinia, the ancient city of Nora is a veritable open-air museum of priceless wonders. This locality, built in the 8th century BC, was the first Phoenician settlement on the island; used for trade, it soon became an important hub, attracting the attention of other civilisations. Through the remains in the archaeological park, visitors are accompanied to discover a millennial history: the temple of the Carthaginian goddess Tanit, the baths complex and the Forum are the main witnesses.

The ancient ruins of Nora include an open-air museum and remains of a theatre, occasionally used for concerts in summer.

I need to share the adorable piglet that lives at the museum I work at and desperately wanted its snoot booped by me. It also wanted to eat my finger, but that’s ok. It is adorable enough to get away with everything.

After it’s curiosity about my fingers was satisfied, it went to bother it’s siblings.

august 26, 2023 - freilichtmuseum / open air museum in kommern, germany. the windows. i love them.

i mean i realize the houses are really dark and the windows are small and don‘t let in much light but the light looks so pretty through them. my house is rather dark with small windows but the light hits a bit different. i definitely hope to someday live in a house with beautiful huge windows. but in these old and cold houses the light that flows in gives a really beautiful atmosphere.

i also thought the little heart cutout in the toilet door was so cute haha
