SHAME ON YOU DENMARK via my friend Daniela and from my other personal acc @miss.kim.respectanimalrights Faroe Islands yesterday ... 55 Pilot whales were brutally murdered .... The Faroese are not dependent on the whale meat to eat ... They enjoy watching the whales suffer ... they enjoy listening the screams of the dying whales... they swim and dance in the blood red sea .... and their children have to watch everything and are photographed on the dead animals .... Nobody should travel to the Faroe Islands ... the islands are full of psychopaths and barbarians!!!! 😡😡😡😡 Pics ©J. Update - At least one of the juvenile Atlantic White Sided Dolphins killed in the grindadráp at Hvannasund (Faroe Islands) on the 16th August still remains in the water 7 days later where it was discarded cut but whole - none of the animal was butchered for meat - a total waste of a young cetacean life even by Faroese standards. So far this year there have been 10 grindadráp hunts in which 561 Pilot whales and 46 Atlantic White Sided Dolphins (45 from official Faroese figures - but our crew have documented at least one AWS Dolphin killed at the Sandavágur grindadráp on the 30th July) 22nd May at Syðrugøta - 145 Long finned pilot whales 8th June at Hvalvík - 11 Atlantic white-sided dolphins 14th June at Sandur - 4 Long finned pilot whales 30th June at Borðoyarvík - 26 Long finned pilot whales 24th July at Tórshavn - 51 Long finned pilot whales 30th July at Sandavágur - 135 Long finned pilot whales (+ 1 AWS dolphin) 30th July at Tórshavn - 38 Long finned pilot whales 31st July at Húsavík - 22 Atlantic white-sided dolphins 16th August at Hvannasund - 87 Long finned pilot whales & 12 Atlantic white-sided dolphins 21st August at Sandavágur - 75 Long finned pilot whales #Grindadrap #FaroeIslands #Dolphin #OpBloodyFjords Via @ocean_angels_ https://www.instagram.com/p/Bm5ytTOhYGZ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=kzk533f1n25t

Help me tweet against Faroe Islands Last year's tweetsheet but This is awerness about what's going on there. TWEETSHEET https://sites.google.com/site/opkillingbayeu/tweets Caption #UPDATE: Blood Spills on to the Shores of the Danish Faroe Islands in the First Pilot Whale Slaughter of the Year. Yesterday, at approximately 1200 local time, a pod of 30-50 pilot whales was slaughtered in the first grindadráp (grind) of the year, on the island of Viðoy in the Danish Faroe Islands archipelago. READ the full story: http://bit.ly/29j3TZM The ordeal began in the morning when locals spotted a pod of between 100-150 pilot whales passing by Svínoy. Several boats then drove the pod of whales approximately 11 kilometres to Hvannasund, where the whales were forced to beach, and slaughtered by locals. Faroese media outlets have confirmed between 30-50 pilot whales have been killed. “Is it exactly these kinds of atrocities that authorities in Denmark and the Faroe Islands are attempting to cover-up, by refusing Sea Shepherd crews entry to the archipelago,” said Sea Shepherd Campaign Leader, Geert Vons. “And this is exactly the reason why we continue to push the increasing global momentum to end this bloody and brutal practice.” Image via nordlysid.fo #SeaShepherd #OpBloodyFjords #FaroeIslands
