While Luffy and Sanji are ready to save Nami, and defeat those who did her wrong, Roronoa Zoro cannot be as eager to take down these chumps as we expect him to be. Unlike the rest, he recently suffered multiple nearly-fatal wounds from the greatest swordsman in the world, "Hawkeye" Mihawk, and hasn't been given enough time to recover. The others can fight with all their might, but Zoro is using all his strength just to stand. But with all that being said, can he really allow himself to lose to another swordsman so soon after making his promise to Luffy?

The old married couple who's healthy, Enies Lobby (and all their appearances) are their propaganda really.

It’s all about the maturity!

Their dynamic is perfect and their pasts are so similar. I love the chemistry between them as well as their introduction that helped build the connection and shared history they already have.

they are THE t4t bi4bi ship | franky telling robin "existing is not a crime" immediately puts this at number one for me | they are opposites (bright and loud + quiet and goth) but also they're both so eccentric and silly <3 | THEY WEAR MATCHING OUTFITS

They are STILL the Mom and the Dad of the Straw Hats, this is the one thing I don't care what Oda says <3 Also their interactions in Enies Lobby and Thriller Bark are amazing.

In my eyes, they are married. Some of my favorite character interactions in the manga/anime and in official art.

They immediatly clicked in Enies Lobby, Franky saved Robin with both words and actions ("Your existence is not a sin!"), and then she grabbed his balls.

The duality of two kids who were just trying to chase their dream and having circumstances outside their control (the government) take everything they love away from them, but one choosing solitude and the other adopting every other person in a bad circumstance??? I love them. Plus they literally had couple moments from the first interaction.

A wholesome ship of a woman who feels the need to be constantly on edge trying to relax and a man who is a 110% himself from the moment we see him. the joy of frobin is the causal domesticity, in many color spreads and especially post timeskip we can see them casually enjoying the others company.

Remember when Franky was in Chopper's body in Punk Hazard and every time he spoke Robin was like "Franky. Stop talking. Do not talk while you're in Chopper's body."

Look. It's Franky and Robin. Literally the only two characters that make sense to ship on the Sunny. Their arcs are inextricably intertwined (water7/enies lobby). Also LOOK AT THEM interacting, both during their arcs, but also thriller bark, or post time skip. I love them. Also robin crushed frankys balls.

They will be endgame trust me. Franky doesn't treat any other girl like he treats Robin. There dynamic in Water 7 and Thriller Bark was and always will be one of the best in all of OP.

Zoro gets a lot of crap for being cold, aloof, overly rational… But actually he’s a clumsy and shy teenager who doesn’t know how to express himself. I think little scenes like this, if you catch them, show that Zoro is just as emotional and compassionate and caring as the rest of the crew. He’s just probably the worst at communicating his own emotions.

Johnny x Reader HCs (One Piece)

Okay so! I had to brush up on him a little bit since it's been a while since I've seen this goober pal around with his bald buddy but from what I understand:

Given that whole "every fight I've lost was only by a hair" schtick he and Yosaku have going on, he's definitely prideful - this means he wants to show off for his partner, show that he's the big strong man even in a relationship between men, maybe that means he's holding out doors for you, maybe it means rolling around in the mud to see who's stronger and making out later

If the two of you get sick from the germs afterward, oh well

This also means that he's difficult in arguments, unfortunately - he's not the type to start them for no reason, no - but Johnny definitely takes his time cooling down, especially if he thinks he's in the right, and it's even longer til he's ready to talk it out properly

He's in his mid twenties, he's young and stubborn, Johnny sticks to his guns and he's reluctant to admit "weakness" even if that has nothing to do with anything you disagreed about; it takes some space and cajoling from Yosaku, but eventually he'll agree to sit down and talk it out

He likes to act like the serious one out of the duo, but his immaturity where silly things like pride is concerned is definitely something worth addressing

After that though, after he's long let soak that he's the idiot in the situation, he puts his all into making it up to you - he's not great at expressing it straightforwardly in the beginning, getting that first "sorry" out of him early in the relationship was almost like pulling teeth, so he goes out of his way to make grand gestures of how much he really cares about you

Long-term this isn't sustainable of course, you tell him that for sure, he's aware he's hard to love sometimes, but deep down he wants reassurance that you'll be there for him while he sorts through the messy unflattering bits of himself - when you do give him that solid bit of comfort, he seems to loosen up a bit, let you in a bit more into that eclectic little head of his

He's not the strongest, or the smartest, and maybe he puts a little too much stock into rumors and superstitions, but he's willing to fight like hell for you once he's attached, and by god he's gotten attached to you, man

So maybe cut him a little slack when he shows up drenched with his cliche bouquet of roses and soaked snacks for your date, yeah?

As much as I love OPLA with all my heart I do think it was a little fast paced and gave out waaaay to much information in only 8 episodes like we didn’t know Grap was Luffys grandpa until SEASONS ago and even longer was Sanjis backstory I understand why they did that but I still don’t like it. Also I thought it was gonna by waaay more silly like it did pre-time skip but it was a lot more serious it’s not bad but what REALLY GOT ME MAD WAS THAT THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THESE LOVELY BOYS

OPLA did them dirty I was so excited to see the little boys when we finally made it to Usopps episode but they never showed up! Who’s gonna continue the legacy of always yelling “the pirates are here!” And the villagers being late for once because Usopp didn’t yell one morning. And throughout the whole OPLA season I was waiting for Johnny and Yosaku to arrive I wanted to see LA Luffys reaction to them and get more details about zoro as well
