Reigen sweats, "Huh," and Mogami looks away and says, "It's just that that gesture looks like the 1983 comedian Miyagawa Yoshi's Mogami Keiji impression." Reigen exclaims, "Why impression? I've actually modelled my business on Mogami himself!" Mogami replies, "Clearly not well enough because Mogami Keiji never did that."

Reigen raises an eyebrow, looking dubious, and asks, "So you're familiar with Mogami's work?" Mogami looks away tiredly and says, "A little. It doesn't matter. It's nothing." Then he spins back to Reigen with a frown and says, "It's just that the hand thing was for exorcisms."

The view looks up on Mogami, whose expression is removed and reminiscent of his actual face as he says, "Regular people-- and cameras-- can't see psychic powers. It's not much of a show if you wave your hand and say you did it. Arcane gestures look so much more impressive. He was a TV personality, it was a necessary flourish."

Reigen still looks skeptical, and he asks, "... How is it supposed to go?" Mogami looks away and says, "He did it all the time on his show. Did you only watch variety cameos?" There's close-up of his pensive face against a black background.

Then Mogami sighs loudly and starts whipping around his hand so it's visible as smears in the same way Reigen's was. He scowls, "Look. Wide gesture to make the movement seem fuller. Snap to break up the next gesture. Swish, bob for length, anticipation, double the fullness at the end."

The last panel shows Reigen standing outside the glass separation panel, jerking a thumb back and saying casually, "Mogami's evil ghost." Mogami clenches his fists and thinks, "Fuck." End ID]

Trigun and The Onion headlines, pt.1/?

I made these on google slides and included one tristamp Vash in honour of Stampede Saturday ❤️❤️❤️

98: Milly and Meryl open Vash’s hotel room door. A shot of his bare and scarred chest is shown, and they stare in the beginnings of distress. The view pans up over Vash’s extensively scarred chest, and Meryl and Vash lock eyes for a moment, Meryl surprised and Vash serious.

Then Vash exclaims something and twists to cover himself, looking comically surprised and shy, and Meryl and Milly faint. End ID]

-so. I had the wrong lyrics when I first drafted this lmao. it was originally going to be the chorus, which I thought was

"and the arms of the ocean are carrying me and all this devotion was rushing out of me and the questions I have for a sinner like me but the arms of the ocean delivered me"

so I was like "yeah.,,..,wolfwood reaching up to the confetti as if to ask if he (the "sinner") really deserves to be welcomed like this. and then he dies"

and then I doubled-checked the lyrics and. that line was wrong. which also changed the meaning of the "but the arms of the ocean delivered me" line o(-< luckily the bridge mostly fit the idea I was going for (otherwise I would've had to write my own text sdjfhg)

I lost the "devotion rushing out of me" (referencing wolf telling vash to smile bit) and the question thing, but I got "sinner released" and "and the arms of the ocean delivered me" instead, which I personally don't think is as good. but it's okay x)

-while this is mostly an alternate version of the couch scene, one of the details I kept is that vash doesn't smile at all

-doing this made me realize how much blood gets on wolfwood's suit >_>;;
