The fun thing is that while Oona the Caveduck originally couldn’t read and write she learned to, and even in this story we see she does know how to do it but this is just more efficient (X)

Oona quacked as the scooter almost hit her. Luckily she managed to jump out of the way just in time.

She ran after it. “Hey wait!”

The duck driving didn’t reply, most likely because he didn’t hear her from the noise the scooter was making as he was driving it as fast as he could. Luckily for Oona this was no problem for her and her caveduck legs and she quickly caught up with the driver.

“Good day!” She jogged alongside him. “This is dangerous! Be more careful!”

He stared at her, but didn’t speak for some reason. Maybe he couldn’t hear her?

So Oona pulled the duck off from the scooter and onto her arms. She continued jogging next to the scooted bridal carrying the driver. “Hello.”

Unfortunately this meant the now driverless scooter quickly crashed into a tree. Oona slowed down, still holding the other duck.

“Now you see? It was dangerous!”

Summary: Oona the cave duck works in retail

For ‘Comedic Duck’ Oona, mostly because I felt like drawing her tbh

((On Daisy’s and Oona’s relationship-

Considering Oona is in love with Donald one might think they’d write Daisy as jealous of her, but this is actually not the case.

Daisy knows Donald isn’t into Oona and trusts on her and Donald’s relationship enough not to get jealous. And in fact-

In this story Donald and Scrooge make a bet over whether Donald can train Oona to act like a lady. Donald drags Oona to a fancy party hosted by Daisy, and predictably, it ends up being a disaster.

However Daisy puts the blame squarely on Donald and Scrooge who used Oona as a pawn in their competition, and recognizes Donald took advantage of Oona’s feelings towards him to drag her into this.

There was also the time a storm destroyed Daisy’s house and she stayed with Oona while it was being repaired, and while Daisy first had trouble getting used to Oona’s caveduck lifestyle she eventually enjoyed it a lot and had fun.
