shoutout to fanfic authors who love plots and write convoluted 300k epics full of twists and turns--plots are cool and i think they matter. shoutout to drabble writers and meme writers and crack aus. shoutout to sci-fi lovers and mystery crafters and horror fans cooking up spoopy stories about their blorbos. shoutout to all the fic authors who aren't even interested in character-driven stories, for any reason.

shoutout to self-indulgence fic authors who just wanna see their faves bang or explore kink even when it's not in character--and fic authors bathing in the tropiest most cliche smoochie fluff the exact same way--and bad endings and whump and dead doves that wreak wanton destruction too--because sometimes it's about your own emotional fulfillment (or your boner).

shout out to fic authors writing oc's or even ooc on purpose just because they can do what they want. shoutout to fic authors who project like crazy to write about themselves and process their shit but need the thinnest veneer of another person's identity to make the words flow. shout out to self-insert fic authors who don't even need that much.

shoutout to people exploring themes and genres and new concepts through words whether or not they're good at emotional continuity. shoutout to neurodivergents who don't understand characterisation and character interactions very well, who don't feel emotions or empathy, or who just don't care about the characters at all sometimes.

shoutout to poets and filk spinners and meta analysts. shout out to fic authors who get so wrapped up in the worldbuilding and lore expansion and politics of their aus or canonverses that individual characters cease to matter. shoutout to fic authors writing in documentary styles or with omnicient narrators or in absolutely wild experimental formats.

i fucking adore character-driven stories and character studies and relationship studies and i spend way too long contemplating characterisation sometimes. but other times i don't. other times i am so many of these other things and i am not being less fanfiction at those times. so shoutout to anyone who has any kind of story to tell through the medium of fanfiction. we're all part of the fanfiction 'genre' because fanfiction is so much more than just one thing.

he’s the guy who would take you on a date to an art museum or something.  he’d be too busy admiring and explaing the artwork/architecture honestly and probably lose track of time.

it’s pretty clear how loyal & how much he loves the royal family.  i mean with out them who knows where he’d be. his siblings mean everything to be,  he has no reason to be against his birthright + family + country, etc

love his country to death which is why he is known as the prince of the people, he probably spent most of his time at local establishments  and promoting them. not to mention he loves to spend with children so you can always find him at the local library or orphanage lending a hand. 

he feels at ease when he is near the sea, he loves sailing.  growing up this was the only sport he actually was skilled at and take great interest in. 

 he had a faze as the rowdy trash child … but as adult he’s not as bad as he was when he was a teen, emerson is still down to party.

emerson is actually pansexual / panromantic he is really open about sexuality + intimacy things

HE’S HONESTLY A GOOD GUY AT HEART even A GOOFBALL.  hes AN ART & LITERATURE LOVER  but if he doesn’t like you there is a 90% chance he’s gonna be fake af smh. probably even plot your demise.

though that being said it takes kind of a lot for him to HATE-HATE someone .. like he’s pretty tolerant. Like you gotta do something that’s real fucked up

Once upon a time he definitely the type to have a lot of flings / one night stands yet due to the engagement he is trying to change his ways and at the same time trying to prove the media wrong.

so he is on this new path of taking things quite seriously.

 he’s s hedonistic at times but at the same time very humble. once you gte to know him  everything will make sense.  

when it comes to money he actually donates it to charities and projects. 

there was literally a time as a child when he refused to speak english bc he’ll always want to learn other languages so this man knows pretty much croatian, italian, spanish, french, arabic fluently  but he got over that as he got older

secret: growing up he had always been a lover of knowledge, words, poetry and books. his parents granted him private turoring in such areas where he slowly but surely became a skilled writer. however being the second oldest meant that he had an image to maintain and a job to fulfill. when he told his father he wanted to become a full time author - the king said no. the crown always go firist, they spoke about the image and how important the public image of the family would be intact. so his best friend and publisher suggested emerson to publish his name under an alias. he decided to go for a female name, since most woman back in the old days would use male names to get their stories to publish. he is a well-known poet and novelist, under the name of rosemary g. novak.  .

this list is gonna be biased toward cenemi people, because machine translation tends to diminish poetry.

*one of my favorite non-green poets is actually on tumblr. they’re orange, cenemi, and only 4. a fair number of their poems have to do with lovers past and present, and i figure i’ll be able to get those more fully once i spring, but their writing is amazing anyway. their tumblr is the first one i ever really read, and it’s probably the reason i got into tumblr in the first place.

*a purple cenemi poet i really like has a poetry/photography blog [link]. sometimes she mixes formats and puts poems in images, or takes photos of handwritten poems. the images are never exactly beautiful, but they have a sort of candid aesthetic. it’s weird but cool.

*this [link] is a sort of novel-in-poems by a purple about a purple family, starting from the couple’s first child and lasting until they’re great-grandparents. and all the ups and downs of their lives together. it’s a little sad–there are some heavy topics like infertility and being physically disabled–but also sweet. it’s written in tapap but comes through machine translation decently.

*this one is also on tumblr. she’s purple, voan, and 5 or 6 i think. she writes a sort of poetic prose/prose poem/idk what to call it. i like the way she fleshes out hard-to-describe emotions and nostalgias. 

*this grey [link] writes a lot of humorous poetry. it’s pretty, y'know, grey. like, one of his poems is literally about bubble wrap. there’s another about health food. warning, some of the poems include sexual jokes.

*last thing, i want to recommend these four people even though they aren’t (or aren’t primarily) poets, just because they’re my favorite non-green authors: Erethani, raito5, MidwinterMetet, and pepperpot on blackoutff.net. lately i’ve gotten pretty into blackoutff, it’s a really friendly fandom website with forums and stuff (there’s even a poetry subforum). this is why i’ve been less active on tumblr lately :P
