my Stephanie Brown hot take is that she should get mad bitches now that she's single in comics. Yes yes shipping BUT the one time she had sex she was punished by the narrative via teen pregnancy. I think she should be allowed to have as much sex as she wants with zero consequences. Could be a lot of sex, could be a little. Point is she should get to do it without getting narratively baby trapped this time. she should get them pregnant, actually.

i don't want anyone to get upset by this because that's neither the intended reaction nor really the appropriate one. i'm also not talking about anyone specifically, and i don't think i even have mutuals who do this (and if i do i haven't realized it so rest assured i'm not talking about you), but.

if you have 10+ muses (or even less, really), and they're aaaaaaall white... why? i assume at least a chunk of the time people don't realize they've done this, but i also feel like that's unlikely, honestly, as much as diversity comes up, even just in general within the rpc. i also just can't imagine how you wouldn't realize. idk, just maybe consider why you do this, and think about how internalized racism plays into it. then, maybe do better.

I think if Nanna ever cured the blight, or at least got it out of herself, she'd want to be buried instead of cremated when her time came. She likes the idea of a place to rest, to let something grow where she'd once have been. She hasn't considered herself Andrastian for a long time, and she's seen both burnings and burials, and the late. After vg she has a lot of free time, so who knows, maybe she'll reconnect to her Nevarran roots. Maybe she finds her real grandfather's clan. Or maybe she'd just like to have a final resting place that might stay a little peaceful, maybe just wants something of her that can be left behind.

But as always, it's the blight at the crux of the issue, and even before what we know now of the Blight, I've always been of the mind that it, in a warden corpse, would just continue to rot and decay the life around it, because the blight doesn't disappear once you're dead. And Nanna would rather nothing be left of her than to leave harm in her wake.

not to steal charlie’s thunder about this but the “neve is emotionally immature” crowd is wild.

she is so in tune with her emotions to the point that she can set realistic expectations and boundaries so that - not only can she protect herself (even if it’s at her own expense) - she can protect those around her from herself. if she knows she’s going to bolt, she can warn you before it gets to that point so neither of you get hurt.

unrelated but I’ve seen an increase of shippers on twitter being like ‘oh my god 4halo is finally canon I can’t wait for them to get married’ and like congratulations but. q!bbh has looked down on marriage presumably for as long as we’ve known him - he says it multiple times. He would never be happy in an actual marriage and not only that but like. Have people forgotten that the happy pills arc happened? Have people forgotten what the 4halo dynamic specifically became during that arc??

Like q!BBH hated marriage before but now he’s got a billion more reasons to avoid it. Especially with q!Forever, even if he’s no longer drugged. And q!Forever does too? Like I cannot imagine a world where one side of 4halo proposing to the other would have any effect other than sickening q!Forever and scaring q!BBH. Maybe I’m wrong but like those two are never getting married. Even if they’re mutually crushing on each other, sure whatever, they’re still never getting married. And that’s good. They should cut out the paperwork and do a highly dangerous blood ritual instead.
