|| Tonight I went on another adventure with Taliesin (also using this mod)! And of course, had tons of fun while I was at it- I mean really, this sassy Elf has made me giggle in the past few days when nothing else could make me smile (due to personal reasons), I mean look:

Then I dressed him up in some Immersive Armour, and got a lil' weepy before I headed off for the Thalmor Embassy (and let's just mention that dying there isn't the worst that can happen to someone who infiltrates it, by the way):

I put him back in his Thalmor robes and. His profile never ceases to make me go *siiiiigh*. He always ends up in front of me when we fast travel - or wanders around in my home, Goldenhills Plantation -, and turns back a bit like this and I'm 😩 Boy. Pls.

Oh, by the way, he's an idiot for running in front of EVERYTHING he sees. 😑 Trolls. Werewolves. Dragons. In today's playthrough he was Shouted back in the corner by a Draugr Deathlord because His Highness thought he'd deal with it up close and personal. (Constantly worried btw.)

Then he makes this comment and I'm. I'm sorry I love him. Same Tally, same. 😂 Princess or prince, I'm not picky, either.

Then I dressed him up in my Lustmord Vampire Armour - and forgot that this way I ended up bare butt naked, because of which he was like:

Then we found a Heroic Stormcloak helmet and... he looks like he's thinking gurl. Seriously?!

setting . ( most of these hcs take place in the time period where Bart was alive and in the apocalypse )

- when Bart was about seven, the last human rebellion took place . it was an organized attack on the reach, a last-ditch effort for humanity to take back their planet . nearly every adult metahuman and a large amount of other human rebels gathered for a last stand . the rebellion was defeated, and almost everyone who was involved with the rebellion was killed . anyone who survived was either made into experiments, or hunted down for the rest of their lives .

- the reach not only enslaved and killed off most of the human race, but also uses them for experimentation . for the most part metahumans are the ones who undergo these experiments, but it’s not unheard of for random people to be taken for various reasons .

- the metahuman population is at an all time low . the vast majority of metahumans are children . almost every adult metahuman was killed during the last human rebellion . and of the remaining metahumans, most are experiments of the reach .

- metahumans, for the most part, are experimented on to extract their metagenes to add their abilities to reach soldiers and scarabs . most either don’t survive the process, or are killed after their abilities are successfully replicated .

- there are almost no plants or animals whatsoever . the earth is uninhabitable for most plants, most water in the planet is either dried up or polluted, and sunlight very rarely even makes it to the ground . it is nearly impossible for the earth to even sustain life anymore . the only reason why the human race still remains is because of the reach doing just enough to keep it going .

- the vast majority of man-made structures have been destroyed . the only real buildings on earth were constructed by the reach and are used by them almost exclusively . the only humans that live anywhere but in camps or in the wild are the ones that are held captive .

- seasons are nearly non-existent . the entire earth’s ecosystem has been damaged beyond repair, and it leaves just about every month of the year basically the same . there are days where it’s colder or hotter, and changes in weather now and again, but distinct seasons are a thing of the past .

- his father and aunt dawn taught bart most of what he knows about his powers . he was given training on them rather young because of how dangerous their lives were, and had all but mastered them even as a young child .

- his mother, father and aunt dawn were all killed during the final human rebellion . his father and aunt were leaders in the rebellion and went out to fight against the reach, while his mother had the responsibility of keeping him safe during the attack . he witnessed the rebellion be slaughtered before his eyes, and thus witnessed the deaths of his father and aunt . his mother and him were able to escape for a short while before she was killed in front of him . he was almost killed, but was ultimately spared because of his metahuman abilities and connection to the late flash .

- bart was experimented on and kept in a reach camp from when he was about seven to when he was around eleven . he would be experimented on for periods of time, and then put in camps with other humans for periods of time to heal so that he didn’t die . the entire time he was captured, he was in an inhibitor collar . the only exceptions were when the reach needed to test his abilities .

- during his time captured by the reach, he began to learn more about chronal technology and reach tech in general . in his camp, the majority of their tasks centered around technology or machinery . he often got chances to watch older humans fix and build various machines, and showed an obvious talent for engineering .

- chronal tech (time travel science) was just starting to be invented and utilized during this time . it was mostly forbidden from humans from even discussing, but many in bart’s camp did it in secret and strived to learn as much as they could for the long shot that it could be used one day .

- bart met nathaniel at around eight years old . nathaniel was one of the reach’s most successful metahuman experiments . he killed the flash many years prior, and was since used as a weapon of destruction during the reach’s takeover . shortly before bart’s birth, his powers began to wane and was ultimately deemed a liability by the reach . he was kept alive for experimentation, but was no longer allowed to use his powers in any capacity and was fitted with a permanent inhibitor collar .

- nathaniel quickly became bart’s caretaker and his sole friend . nathaniel saw potential in both bart’s powers and his genius with machinery . nathaniel himself had limited knowledge of machinery, but a more expansive understanding of chronology and history . he was the one who originally came up with the idea of building a Time Machine, and was the only one who came up with a solid plan with key events planned out .

- beginning when bart was around ten, he and nathaniel began work on the Time Machine plan . it mostly involved gathering information about parts and trying to find a cure for nathaniel’s past self . over the course of about two years, the two managed to find solutions to both of these things .

- when bart was twelve, nathaniel, him, and several other humans executed a plan to escape from their camp . a riot took place, inhibitor collars were rigged to fail and be removed, and during the chaos bart and nathaniel managed to secure a few parts for the Time Machine and a cure for nathaniel’s past self . after this, they were able to escape along with a few others . however, the majority of those involved were killed, and the few that survived other than bart and nathaniel either didn’t want involvement with their plan or died shortly after .

- it took several months of stealing parts and work on the Time Machine for Bart to get to the point where he was ready to go back to the past . the entire thing was built by Bart, but most of the planning of what Bart needed to do was done by Nathaniel .

- the impulse suit was something given to Bart by Nathaniel . Nathaniel had gotten it from abandoned safe houses of the fallen rebellion, namely ones of people who were directly involved with the flash or his ancestors . the suit had been saved by bart’s family for him to use one day in hopes the world would be rebuilt by then, but was forgotten when the rebellion fell . Nathaniel went out of his way to find it, both as a gift to Bart and as a believable outfit for bart’s journey to the past .

- bart’s personality was a lot different during the reach apocalypse . even as a young child, he was quiet and distant . he often came off as cold, paranoid, or antisocial, but it all stemmed from trauma and fear of losing people again . he was a lot more reserved and stoic, only smiling with a lot of coaxing . he still isn’t sure if that is his ‘real’ personality, or if it’s the persona he put on for his trip to the past .

- Nathaniel and Bart had an extremely close bond . bart was untrusting of Nathaniel at first, and even at times tried to get rid of him, but Nathaniel stuck by his side . At first, Nathaniel did it because he believed bart was the only one capable of fixing the timeline, but soon came to care about Bart and see him as his own child . Bart warmed up to Nathaniel over time, and soon he became the only one he trusted or considered a friend . Nathaniel was the only one Bart confided in or trusted enough to be affectionate towards, and Nathaniel in turn grew to want to take care of Bart and protect him where he could . They never verbalized it, but they eventually created a bond of that of a parent and child . They loved each other, and even though neither of them always showed it outwardly, they did. When bart tries to picture his parents, all he can think of is Nathaniel .
