One more of Loba for now of her other outfit, the one Barbie Looks #12 comes in. I altered the top bc I wanted her tattoo to be more visible. (Incidentally, the face mold is called ���Fryda’.)

Kaleb update! I gave him another layer of paint, its nothing as dramatic as Loba but I did try to give him a bit of a broken nose. I also tinted his lips on the slightest side of bruised. The next layer will prolly be acrylic for details (like I did for Loba).

I already know plugging in his hair is going is going to him Lestat vibes, but I can’t wait! Lol

Loba's finally finished!

I made everything save for the fur stole (12charliej-4 on ebay) and boots (ArtimesFashionDoll on etsy). Otherwise, the white fabric was left over costume fabric from the 90s and the white trim was leftover from my grandmother's wedding dress (there is a giant pile of old fabric and trim in my house). The thigh highs were fabric from thelovelyfabricshop on etsy and the black trim was vintage dyed to match it. I have a second outfit for her, but plan on making more for sure. If I were to do her again (and I intend to) I know what I would do differently, but I am still in awe of how good she came out! I still plan on doing Kaleb, Lifeline, Ashleigh, and Cat but Loba was by far the most involved (rerooting all of her long hair mainly), so I'm hoping the rest of them will be easier. lol

Im trying so hard to muster the energy but its been hard. I finished Kaleb’s hair just before last Tuesday. I really want to feel like this matters to someone.

Finally, a Barbie Loba update! After waiting for the right color hair to come in, I’m really glad I did bc she has highlights, lowlights, and a touch of metallic red that I think is perfect. I bought red RIT synthetics dye to dip dye her hair after the fact.

It always takes me forever to do hair tho, so far I’ve only done her hairline. Of I pick the Legend with the most hair.
