dahlia and unamed still meet as well but they're both much younger. unamed im thinking is 20-23 and dahlia is of course 3-5 years older than him. unamed also has been going to therapy in this timeline for multiple years now, so hes able to recognize when dahlia does/says something shitty and acts as an aid to heal her from her own stuff. they function MUCH better as a unit in this timeline than in the main universe

in a different universe none of the bad things happened to unamed and he still dresses the same and is the same person essentially but w/out cptsd. he also has exposure to African American culture both through his mother and peers

#unamed has a wonderful mother*#*in this timeline #his mother in the main timeline is also wonderful #its a shame what happened to her really #they meet at a point in their lives where they lack direction instead of it being a life and death thing where they're just kind of going #with the motions of how life has gone for them thus far #unamed has either at this point tried college and either dropped out or finished but he doesnt really....Know What To Do #mainly beecuz of being a bioweapon ....the government really just like teased him w/like 'yeah you can totally live a normal life if u want #'you'll still fulfill your purpose tho'#anyway he doesnt fulfill shit fuck the government bro 🖕#but hes still lost b/c much like main timeline unamed hes estranged from everyone except his mother #and dahlia doesnt know wtf she's doing either #she joined the military b/c she didnt want to go to college and didnt know what else to do but she wanted to help people #(main timeline dahlia has the same motivations)#again unamed and dahlia are the same people *essentially* but put through one morbillion ringers that turn them into spaghetti #oo-nah-med as a story is basically a thought experiment #what happens when you take someone who's already predisposed/more sensitive to living the worst life possible #and then put them through every bad thing #and what happens when they themselves refuse to get better b/c they feel like they're trapped in their circumstances and there's no escape?#well. you get unamed and dahlia.#and oo-nah-med as s story unfolds #yay!!#this is a cautionary tale as well. it serves as a reminder to me that i dont have to be like unamed or dahlia if i dont want to be. i can #get better b/c the trauma i went thru when i was younger doesnt define me. much like it doesnt define unamed (or dahlia)#he just chooses to let it define him b/c he thinks he doesnt deserve anything else but pain #anyway. my blorbos.#thinking about dahlia and unamed banging is going to get me thru today #LOL
