I really wish Xenoblade 1 let us play as Alvis during the Alcamoth and Valak Mountain sections like Xenoblade 2 let us play as Vandham for Chapter 3. It'd just make Alvis feel even more of a party member and it'd make later game more impactful personally.

summary: A notices how you look at them...

A noticed the way you looked at them. it was like you were talking to them, but looking at someone else. someone who's been long gone. 

A wasn't stupid, the connection between the two of you was clear to them. despite never saying who A truly was, you looked at them the same way you had looked at him. as if you knew that the two of them were the same. 

and yet, you never said a word about it. you never asked A about him. the one you had been in love with in another universe and the one who had left you after the creation of a new one. 

A was at a loss with you. they had everyone figured out but you. perhaps it were their own emotions that made it hard to understand yours. A still felt the same way about you, but maybe it were your feelings that had changed. maybe in the time you two were apart, you had tried to move on and the way you looked at them was just the lingering remnants of the love you had once felt. 

you had loved him, but perhaps you were trying to see the two of them as different people. perhaps you were seeing A as the one they were and not the one they reminded you of…
