the essay which gives insight into Alessandra Sanguinetti’s photoseries called ���On the Sixth Day”. It was one of my main inspirations for my documentary project which focuses on complex human relationships with animals. 

I am a vegetarian and ever since I was small I always felt emotionally connected to animals of all sorts. Going to zoo’s was always a mix of emotions. Seeing them live was exciting but realizing how they live was painful to watch. The way Alessandra approaches this topic is refreshing and comforting. She evokes feleings of understanding and empathy in the viewer with the way she photographs the daily life on the farm.
