It’s #NationalBisonDay ‼️ Many years ago OTR was founded on Catalina Island - 26 miles off the coast of California. One of the many strange and wonderful things about this little island is it’s bison population. Bison were originally brought to Catalina in 1924 for the silent film version of Zane Grey’s ‘The Vanishing American’. After shooting, they were left behind and allowed to breed.
