It’s about the FLAVOR! First Aid barely looking at photographs when he scavenges, and he doesn’t want to scavenge houses but they’re so versatile with what they might have, and the risk of attacks is so low compared to a store. Just don’t look. Don’t look at the walls, or at the beds. And when you have to, it’s a mercy killing. It’s euthanasia. Everyone has the right to die, he tells himself. It’s his job now.

Vortex doesn’t even care. He thinks the houses are the best; the stories he can come up with for people inside. And Onsalught is practical and says the risks of scavenging a store outweigh the cons, guaranteeing what you need will be there versus not. Brawl doesn’t care either way. He thinks, Vortex is a little too into the houses. He thinks. But what does he really care? They’re all dead now. Just don’t find things you don’t want to see.

Swindle knows spots to go. He likes going for groups of people, really, they have the best to offer, and if you sweet talk em you don’t even need to rob them, they’ll just let themselves be scammed. He likes letting these groups propagate: let them multiply, let his hauls be even more fruitful. And Blast Off- he doesn’t really scavenge. He tends to stay away, fights instead, doesn’t want to think too hard about the insides of these houses or the cars in the parking lots. He doesn’t really care, but if he thinks too long, he might end up caring a little. Cant afford that.

He finally did it. He finally grew the ball bearings to speak up and confess his feelings.

Well, kind of.

Blast Off has been crushing on Onslaught for so many vorns now: their leader practically lived in his processor! Every free moment, Blast Off daydreamed of spending time together- be it helping with coming up with strategies, chilling, or other stuff. Yes, there were plenty of nights the shuttle snuggled his pillows, pretending it was his leader.

Just don’t ask him about it- he will deny it!

But no matter what he tried, the mech of his affections didn’t notice him. True, the shuttle tended to keep to himself. He wasn’t the most social ‘Con around. But Onslaught socialized.

Just not with him.

At least outside of their duties and such. The truck-former was professional and took his responsibilities seriously, always ensuring his teammates knew what they were doing. He would gladly converse with them until the plans were crystal clear. He was well respected.

And in the shuttle’s optics, well desired.

Oh, how he would fantasize about those hands roaming over his frame, whispering loving words into his audials as they cuddled! To feel needed, to feel wanted- to be noticed- would make him feel so special! Yes, he also dreams about other kinds of touches and interactions, usually late at night, so his muffled wails don’t wake up the rest of his gestalt.

So, now was the time to act. To speak up about how he feels. And what better way than to leave a sappy love note signed by a secret admirer? In the note, that was hand made of course, he wrote to meet him at a lesser-known bar in Kaon, for privacy reasons.

And Blast Off knew his leader received said note. His teammates invited him for a night of boozin’ and movies, and he declined. Onslaught simply said he was beckoned for other plans when questioned about it. Even with all the grilling from the other Combaticons, his lips were sealed, and his plans not thwarted.

Blast Off briskly walked to his desired location. In one hand, he clasped a box of chocolates. Yes, it's a bit cliché, and while not the finest candies on Cybertron, the treats were of higher quality. He had to really barter hard to get these! In his other hand was a bottle of high-grade engex, Onslaught’s favorite. He may have stolen it from Swindle. But this was for a good cause!

His newfound confidence threatened to crumble as the bar entrance was seen. As much as this excited him, his energon tingling as it pumped through his revved-up frame, his stomach was flip-flopping.

Would Onslaught be disappointed his secret admirer was him? His incompetent gestalt member that slumped back in the shadows, never drawing attention to himself? What if Onslaught knew of his crush and ignored it because he was uninterested? Or was he repulsed?

Blast Off shook his helm.

Thoughts like this would drive him crazy and make him turn back. He closed his optics and drew in a deep breath. It’s now or never.

Without further hesitation, he opened the bar door and stepped inside. Music played as lights flashed, but the place wasn’t packed. One could find privacy here. Scanning the room, Blast Off gleefully looked for his crush.

And his optics widened upon spotting him. His spark skipped a rotation as his stomach twisted in dread. A heavy feeling crept across his chassis that threatened to steal his breath. Fluid welled in his optics as his cheeks warmed. The gifts nearly slipped from his servos as he stood there, gobsmacked.

Yes, his leader was here. But there was another mech straddled on his lap. Those strong hands that the shuttle wished would ravish his frame roamed and groped another mech. Faces pressed together in a sloppy yet passionate kiss. Clearly, both were enjoying themselves.

Oh, Blast Off did want Onslaught to have a good time tonight. And those plans are becoming a reality.

Just not with him.

Dawg I just got the most diabolical idea that I shared about 2 years ago but imma share it here

Psimon fears hospitals. But Dev ends up in the hospital after a mission so he had to tough it out while simulatiously not have a mental breakdown and Onsalught is just so fucking concerned—-

NOOOOOO I CANT DO ANGST Well I can but…okay, you see, I don’t read angst but I’ll write angst. That’s my relationship with angst.

That is sick and twisted though. And also romantic. But like! Poor Devastation! Poor Psimon! D: I strangely love hospitals but nearly everyone else in my family has medical phobias and like, that stuff is REAL. And have of them don’t even have an experience that made them afraid, but Psimon???? Oh no. Like…

Trudging through the cold, white lights. Through the sterile bleach and pine-cleaner smell that just reminds his disease and death now. Through the all too familiar, almost mocking noises of the hospital machinery that drove him insane all those years JUST TO BE BY DEVASTATION’S SIDE WAHH I CANT DO THIS whatever, whatever, something like that, they’re great. They’re in love. They’re evil. That’s all that matters.

Psimon doing everything he can to take care of Devastation, leaving nothing for the rest of Onslaught to do. But that’s okay bc the rest of Onslaught can just take care of Psimon. They’re gonna have to, he’s going to overextend himself and the hospital is going to Get To Him. 😔

Recently Ive found myself attracted to a girl who is supposed to be my friend. Actually this is a lie. Ive been attracted to her for as long as Ive known her and even did a photoshoot inspired by her + wrote several (many) poems. Most of them about how much I love her laugh.

This blog is also a by-product of her. I keep a journal on paper but I dont write fast enough with a pen to keep everything flowing at proper speed. I only write on paper with pen. I got the habit from my sophmore year science teacher who beilived seeing mistkaes on paper was part of solving problems.

Not that all writing is solving a problem. For me, it is. I always have an itch and writing scratches it. Problem solved.

This girl unknowingly absolutely shattered my heart last week. We hung out, and I had not realized she'd be bringing along a girl she'd gone on a date with the weekend prior. I pieced it together when I got in the car and saw her date's hand on her thigh. I immediately clamped up and promised myself I could be upset later, but I would find a way to enjoy the night.

The thing about this date is that she told me she wasn't interested in dating anyone and needed time to cool off from her last relationship. I feel so stupid for thinking she had any inkling about being with me, but I just felt something between us.

I had been feeling energriezed but now I feel the onsalught of the coming winter. Ussually the colder shift brings me peace but for some reason thinking Ive made it into winter without her in some way makes me sad.

This feeling is not helped by my mildly dusty social agenda, a letter from a girl I stopped seeing four weeks ago, or the price of stamps.

I was also disappointed by Atonement by Ian McEwan. I had. more thoughts on it during the reading process but by the end it felt like I had taken a splinter out of my finger. I was glad to be rid of it.

Oh! And I need to buy cuticle oil :P

Deathwatch should still be its own thing

There is a big enough idea out there that Deathwatch should no longer be its own army but instead be thrown into Agents of the Imperium/Imperial Agents. I disagree with this as some have said it makes sense as they are the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Xenos however if this is the case then the other Chamber Militant should as well. Another thing is people not playing it as much but really I can think of 3 things to boost up its popularity 1) Let them use units from the other Non-Codex Compliant Chapters. Basically follow something like 'If your army faction is Deathwatch you can include Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, and Black Templar units, with said units replacing their faction keyword with Deathwatch. The combined points value of such units you can include in your army is as follows: INCURSION: up to 250 points STRIKE FORCE: up to 500 points ONSALUGHT: up to 750 points None of the models can contain the Special Character keyword. 2) More kill teams, for example 2 new ones could come from Fortis Kill team. Have one take the Intercessors still as the 5-10 core with Hellblasters can be added still but also have the option to take 0-4 Infernus, and 0-4 Desolation. Meanwhile a new melee focus uses the Assault Intercessors as a 5-10 core with the outriders though raise them 0-3 and add in Bladeguard Veterans 0-3. 3) More Special Characters let's see the like of Harl Greyweaver and Chyron to the field. So thoughts, feedbacks? Likes, Reblogs, and replies?

I gave some simple answers for Combaticons/First Aid in a separate post but I’d love to hear your thoughts on it, if you had any. Bonus points if you’re like “character x wouldn’t do any of the above, they’d do this” etc etc honestly no wrong answers but I love the endless potential. Also, you probably already know this, but any and all characters you wanna study for this would be great, I’m down for anything. Just love your zombie au thoughts ngl.

Ok I spent a few days thinking about this one. And obviously I’m going to go with First Aid first because of course I will.

Drawing inspiration from Delphi, the infected patients pose no threat as we know. Aside from wandering around maybe, and dying. First Aid isn’t shown to be very affected by this- both literally and metaphorically. And even before he found out he was ‘immune’, he and Ambulon took on the burden of care for those infected. (Meanwhile, Pharma- KNOWING exactly how this disease worked, how it infects, how it triggers, what it does to you- hid.). It speaks a lot to how First Aid is. The same sort of, self sacrifice and care and firm badassary without meaning to.

So First Aid would logically get infected in the zombie au. If it was any sort of real life scenario. Maybe he’s a carrier for the disease actually. But, he absolutely would realize he’s infected when he’s bitten. Even if it’s a scenario where only 99% of bites lead to zombification, he would treat it as 100%. He would never risk anyone’s life for even the idea that maybe he could survive.

If he’s fast enough, I can see him severing his own limb. Otherwise, he doesn’t tell anyone. He is infected and he’s going to die, and so he quietly leaves one day under some pretense. He still has one last thing to give everyone else, and that’s hope; hope that he’s okay, and he’s alive out there, even if he’s dead and he knows he’s dead. He gives them that hope. And he goes to die alone.

Vortex never really saw much of a big deal on zombies. ‘Turning’ into one isn’t a change, in his eyes, it’s just sort of… a logical conclusion to his life, he thinks. Any life. It’s not so bad. You live forever, probably, you’re never hungry, you don’t even kill each other- only the guys you want to. And that doesn’t seem so bad. So if he’s infected, he’s the wild card that might not tell anyone, or might tell everyone. Who knows what he does.

Swindle blames someone else. He likes his family, but uh, hey, come on, him? Infected? There’s a 1% survival chance too, and he’s got all these meds stockpiled; come on, as if he’d die? You don’t really believe that, right? And he’s not even infected; it was someone else. Someone else got bitten. He wasn’t bitten, he was scratched. This even his blood. This is just a bruise. Don’t look under his sleeve.

Brawl doesn’t have much feelings of sorrow about the thing. If it was later on in the apocalypse, he’d be remorseful, and even scared. But early on, it’s just… well, that’s that then. He’ll go down fighting. He tells everyone, and then goes out and kills as many zombies as he can before he dies to.

Onslaught is also a contender for chopping off his own limb. Though, this isn’t like First Aid, who knows medicine and knows where to cut, how to cut, what to do; this is, grab a knife, and cut. Of course he’d tell the group. But only because he isn’t going to die. He’s the guy who’s not in denial, he absolutely believes he can beat this infection. The person who fights anesthesia before surgery. That kind of guy. Sort of a flipped mirror of First Aid too; where there’s life, there’s hope.

Blast Off tells a few people. Maybe only one, even. He doesn’t want to die, but he’s- he’s realistic. It’s terrifying, isn’t it? To suddenly realize your mortality. He doesn’t want to die. But maybe that’s all he can do now. He tries to hold it off, but it doesn’t work; and the group can’t decide what to do with him. He asks First Aid, in the end, to help him out. He doesn’t want to die as a zombie; he wants to die human. So Blast Off spends the last day alive with his family, shooting zombies from afar. Before he, quietly, turns in and does the same to himself. First Aid will lie and say he died in his sleep.

gestalts/combiners are my favorite car robots gimmick and Bruticus is my favorite combiner because he’s made up of all the characters i like best in the franchise. it’s like faves x5, extra large size. that’s my reasoning.

Are the characters of each game traveling together throughout the entire story? Or do they arrive together, then split up and handle quests individually? And how do the DLC characters fit in? Like, if the BL2 characters are traveling as a group for the entire game, do we just assume that Gaige and Kreig have always been a part of that group, or do they come in part way through? Sorry if this is too much for one ask.

This is entirely up to the interpretation of the player. 

However, what we do know is the group of Vault Hunters from Borderlands 2 are all together during the ending of Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. Also, six assassins are sent after the Vault Hunters during Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax, and receive letters from their corresponding saviors upon the completion of “Victims of Vault Hunters”.

Finally, during The Holodome Onslaught, Axton and Gaige reveal they were previously hunting down Aurelia before Lilith called them back to Sanctuary after The Watcher saved Athena from execution.
