"Hah... uh, that's sweet of you, kiddo... but bugs are WAY out of my pallete. Don't think I can really get anything out of that, you know?" Jonathan nervously laughs and sits down onto the ground glancing over to the smaller cub.

"Heck, I could actually go for a cook steak right now. Maybe I'll do that in another-" He pauses and catches himself. Dammit, he's getting WAY too comfortable saying his powers around kids. Maybe because he just SO badly wanted to have someone join him on his adventures. "Ah, never mind me. Just... thinking out loud." Then again, Jonathan DID look like food considering he's got a deer tail AND ear ears. His antlers made him solidify that point.

"So, a lion eating bugs. Never thought I'd see the day." Jonathan laughs in amusement this time. "I come from a place where we can use fire and shiny stuff for our food."

The young princess was bored, and unfortunately for Simba, he was one of the only ones home while the lionesses were out hunting. Sneaking up oh so unstealthily, Kiara swiftly extends her paw to swat her father upon the shoulder where he lay before jumping backwards with a playful giggle.

"Easy, Easy... it's just water. Sort of. It's strawberry flavored water, but it does the trick." Jonathan hoped that their aide to Simba would be a recognition he's an ally. Jonathan knows that a lion cub stranded in the middle of nowhere wasn't exactly the ideal choice for the kid to be in. Why is this kid without his family? They're probably looking for him. Worried sick. Jonathan swivels his head about in the hopes to look for anyone that might resemble lions. Granted they wouldn't maul him if they saw a semi-human with the cub.

"I'm not gonna hurthca, kay? Name's Jon. You're probably really hot right now and the water should suffice for a little bit. Can you tell me your name?" It's probably stupid he's even trying to converse with a animal, but the implant from timeline 500 on Earth 60 should allow him to communicate with him. It took him over 12 travels to enter into that futuristic timeline to allow him this.

Sarabi strode over, skirting one of the many great baobab trees to make her way toward her son. In her jaw, she held high the chunk of meat from a recently hunted carcass.

Slowing to a halt, she dropped the morsel at Simba's paws. "It's been far too long since we have shared a meal, my son." She hummed, a smile adorning her worn face. "I hope you like springbok more now than when you were a cub."

The lion cub hadn't known it was possible to communicate directly with a human ruler, but here he is, actually conversing with Kuzco (perhaps it's magic, perhaps it's because Kuzco was once turned into a llama for a time). "So, you're an Emperor?" Simba says, eyes wide, paws tapping on the ground. "That's so cool! I'm gonna be King of the Pridelands one day, but I've never met an Emperor before. What's your favorite thing about your kingdom? Do you know other emperors?"

Kuzco can't help but laugh at the cubs enthusiasm, trepadation from the fact that it's a giant jungle cat similar to the jaguars that chased him through the jungle dying on his tongue as he waves him off.

"Woah there, little guy. Take it easy! I can only answer one thing at a time." He chuckles, sitting forward on his throne and leaning his elbows against his knees. "In the order in which they were received; yes, I most certainly am, my favorite thing is. . . is it cliche to say ME? 'Cause I'm pretty sure that's my answer regardless, and no. I've never met another Emperor, but I'm sure they're out there, somewhere."

His comment about being 'King' of the Pridelands catches him off guard though, and he's just as eager to ask him a few questions. "So you're a prince? . . . of the Pridelands. Is that a thing? I didn't think animals had a hierarchy, but. The more you know, I guess. Where exactly ARE the pridelands?"

Well, there's our thread between Magneto and Pinocchio which I'm loving so far (I assume it's in your drafts or que!). I think Simba meeting Br'er Rabbit could be a lot of fun if not a bit chaotic! I wouldn't mind throwing a few muses at Nightcrawler, Quicksilver or Gambit ( Pinocchio, Drew, Drak, Wally or even Billy)

Death encountering Cesar or Gabriel could be fun, given all three are beings of a higher power than humanity.

There's also any of your HH/HB muses and Cesar, who has an Overlord verse that could work nicely!

Well, it was only natural, really.

He'd never seen anything like him before. Pebbles spied the creature with a blank, curious sort of look, thumb hanging in the corner of his mouth as he half-heartedly sucked it. How strange — The lack of wings, the funny tail, the rounder ears — He couldn't wrap his little head around it. The closest he could compare it to in his mind was...

"Kitty." He stated simply, pointing a round little finger at the cub.
