Was making up something for dinner on the fly, just mixing whatever ingredients I came up with and didn’t realize until I was cleaning up the kitchen after eating that while I thought I was experimenting a bit, what I ended up making was essentially just a pretty standard tinga de pollo

#only atypical thing was I didn’t have lime so I used an orange for my citrus juice #and I used my homemade smoked peppers instead of canned chipotles #and it was a bit too bitter from the smoke so I added a bit of honey #and I cubed and fried some potato because I didn’t have much chicken #so it was fairly different #but taste and appearance wise it was indistinguishable #aside from not being very spicy #because I was cooking for my whole family and I’m the only one that likes spicy food
