Anger, hatred, and jealousy tear down relationships. These emotions lead to bitterness and ultimately destroy the very relationship. A wounded heart leads to a wounded soul. To heal yourself, stop hurting yourself and start healing those around you. That’s how you create peace. tags:

Where Can You Reach Out Clients
You already have the relevant skills in freelancing, but, where can you reach out clients?
According to a US report, as of now, they have a total of 80 million freelancers while the Philippines has 2 million.
This means that the competition in the freelancing industry is getting tougher. And, for you to be resilient, you need to dwell where your clients are visible. They’re everywhere, that’s why it is important to be a competitive and effective freelancer.
Here are the tips where you can reach clients.
1. Freelancing Platforms
Freelancing platform is an avenue to create your freelancing profile and get hired. In creating your profile, optimizing it is an excellent way to get noticed by clients. Freelancing platforms that are most used today are Upwork, OnlineJobsPh, Fiverr, etc. These platforms are free to use. But, in UpWork you need to buy connects for you to be able to send applications.
2. Social Media
Clients are everywhere, and yes they are always in social media. Optimizing your social media accounts is one of the best ways of getting hired. You can do this by posting insightful contents on a consistent basis.
3. Google
Google is another avenue for freelancers to reach clients. For you to do that, you can type the job that you want to apply for and put the current date. Then, Google will provide you with hiring freelancing platforms on the results page. It will then redirect you to the job that you want to apply for.
4. Lead Generation
This is another strategy to reach potential clients. Freelancers do this to either serve clients with a low fee or for FREE. In doing this, mentioning and showing your portfolio is a great way to express your expertise. And, if ever, you’ve fulfilled the agreement, you can ask for a good review or feedback from them. Also, you can ask them if they would like to continue availing your services. But, this time, services will have a fee.
5. Inbound Marketing
Inbound marketing is about not chasing clients but welcoming clients to come in. One way to do this is by establishing your online presence through social media and websites. By optimizing your social media accounts and website, you will reach potential clients. And, when they’ll be happy with your output, they will offer you a job right away, even without an interview. There are three things that you need to prepare for in reaching out to clients. First is, you need to personalize your applications, provide solutions and present proofs. In the application process, you need to personalize your cover letter with the name of the client. In there, you need to research the needs of the client. As such, you can tell the client your possible solutions. In your resume, you need to specify your skills and experiences that are relevant to the client. Furthermore, you need to show proof through a portfolio. Your portfolio must show your expertise. Now, you have the skill, you know where to find your clients, and you know the tips in the application process. I hope these are all helpful to you!

How to Transition from Corporate Job to Freelancing
Are you tired from you 9 to 5-day job and want to explore Freelancing as your new career? I was also an employee from a large corporation who decided to pursue working as a Freelancer. These are some of the tips on how you can start your Freelancing Journey.
Enroll in Freelancing Courses
Let’s say you’re a total newbie in this area and do not have any idea on the tasks and works of a freelancer, you don’t know where to start and how to start. Begin by enrolling to Freelancing Courses which are offered by numerous Freelancing Academy nowadays. I myself enrolled to Filipino Virtual Assistance Academy.
Enrolling in Freelancing Courses really helped me to develop my skills and boosted my knowledge in varieties of freelancing jobs which includes: General Virtual Assistance, Social Media Management and Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and a lot more.
Make Enough Savings
If you want to resign from your current job but you don’t have a job yet after leaving, make sure you have enough savings before resigning. You may also need to save up before working as a freelancer because in this field income is not definite, your income will be dependent on the number of projects or clients you will have. As a starter you may need to save at least 3 to 6 months worth of living expenses.
Make Some Research
You really have to make some time doing some research before jumping into freelancing. Find what niches/services will be applicable to you and which niches/services are on demand in the market.
Register to Different Freelancing Platforms
You need to build up your profile in different freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer.com, and OnlinejobsPh,
Having profiles in these platforms will help you reach out to a lot of potential clients. By doing so you will also have to build up your portfolio to be cut above the rest.
Continue to Develop Your Skills
Don’t just lodge you need to always follow the ever-changing trends and demands of the world. Continue to read articles, blogs and watch videos that will enhance your knowledge in a lot of Freelancing Skills.
