jjk men’s favorite place to have sex
—★ mdni, reblogs appreciated
included: gojo, geto, nanami, toji, sukuna, choso, takuma, & higuruma
content: (these are mostly jokes lol), suggestiveness, fluff, crack, explicit language
Satoru Gojo
Favorite place: The balcony of some skyscraper because he just loves being above everyone else. both literally and figuratively.
Gojo’s would no doubt go for maximum drama. He’d make jokes like, “Don’t worry, I’ll catch you if you fall,” whole time he’s the clumsy one who might just end up tripping over his own pants.
Suguru Geto
Favorite place: A quiet hot spring or getaway in the middle of nowhere, with a no-cell-service guarantee.
Geto absolutely loves the peace and beauty of it all, but there’s definitely a part of him that enjoys “embracing his mysterious villain energy,” as stated in his own words.
He’s the type to randomly monologue about the stars or the meaning of life mid-act, leaving you wondering if you’re being seduced or lectured. +Bonus points if he can dramatically pull his hair back as steam swirls around him like he’s in a perfume commercial. “Are we even here for the sex at this point?” you’d ask him.
Kento Nanami
favorite place: A swanky, ultra-modern hotel room, preferably one with a nice view and complimentary breakfast for the morning after.
Nanami is a man of precision and schedules, so the location must be clean, practical, and include its perks.
He insists on the bed being neatly made before and after. he’s not a heathen, after all.
The whole time, he’s probably calculating how many hours of sleep he’s losing and debating if it’s worth it (It always is.)
Toji Fushiguro
Favorite place: The backseat of a stolen car, possibly still running, most likely in a fast-food parking lot.
Toji thrives on things like chaos and bad decisions, so naturally, he’s picking somewhere dangerous and trashy.
He’s definitely cracking jokes mid-action, like, “Think the cops’ll give us five minutes if they show up?”
If the car is manual, he’ll probably accidentally hit the clutch at some point. but it’s all part of the “fun” he says.
Ryomen Sukuna
Favorite place: On the throne of his spooky, abandoned temple, surrounded by ominous torches.
Sukuna is extra in every sense of the word. He’ll insist on a spot where he looks like a final boss in a video game. +Bonus points if there’s a sacrificial altar nearby for “the aesthetic.”
He doesn’t have an inch of subtleness within him. He’d definitely say things like, “Bow before your king” while you’re simply just trying to bust a nut.
Choso Kamo
Favorite place: A private moonlit garden, probably near a koi pond (he read online that it’d be romantic.)
Choso is sweet but awkward, so he’s constantly trying his best to nail the mood. He’ll light a million candles and bring up random facts about flowers- “Did you know they symbolize eternal love?”
He doesn’t even care about the location, it just has to feel meaningful.
If you reassure him he’s doing great, he might actually shed a tear mid-session.
Bonus!!!!
Takuma Ino
Favorite place: A public library after hours. (breaking small rules is as edgy as he gets).
Ino thinks he’s being super daring, but the whole time he’s whispering, “Shh, baby, don’t get too loud..” like a paranoid hall monitor.
He’s the type to accidentally knock over a stack of books mid-action and panic, saying, “Holy shit— we’re gonna get banned from libraries forever.”
Hiromi Higuruma
Favorite place: A courtroom after hours, with papers dramatically scattered everywhere.
Higuruma is a walking contradiction, so of course, he’s picking the most ironically serious place possible.
He’s 100% the type to sigh mid-moment and say something like, “This feels wrong huh? but that’s what makes it right.”
He’d definitely joke about “objecting” if you’d try to rush things due to your fear of being caught.
@nanaslutt for the layout inspo !╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

Thess vs Older Titles
So here we have one of the big problems with this “Always Online” bullshit.
Some games I own, I own in two places. Because Reasons, mostly, I think. One of them is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. And one of the things about that one is that all the DLC you get with specific editions can only be accessed when you’re logged into your EA account.
Amalur’s one of the ones I reinstalled on Steam, but apparently it has a tendency to bork out before it even hits the title screen on Steam. Does it on the EA app too, but ironically, that’s easier to deal with - you just run the Repair function and you’re fine. (Or rather, it was; today that fix is not working.)
Then I ran into the other problem of “Okay, it won’t log me into my EA account”.
First thought was “Did I misremember my password?” It’s possible; there’s a lot of autofill on passwords nowadays. So I changed my EA password and ... still no.
Did some Googling. Turns out that in May this year, EA shut down the server that services Amalur. Which means the base game is playable, but I don’t know whether we still get the DLC. I mean, if we have to be logged in for it, I don’t see how we can.
So there it is - I know there are other examples of this, but this is supposed to be a full-on single-player game with no actual need to be linked to Being Online, but they did it to validate DLC, and now they can’t validate DLC anymore because the servers shut down. So everyone who’s starting a new game at this stage loses their DLC, which includes entire zones, I might add, as well as some gear I really liked. Fine, it’s an eleven-year-old game, but ... people play those. *gestures emphatically at Dragon Age*
(I’d be gesturing emphatically at Mass Effect too but the LE kind of made that superfluous.)
Not that it matters when the damn game really does not like Win10 and now I can’t get it to load no matter what I do. I guess I’ll just have to find something else to play. I struggle to decide which game to play, and get my wheel spoked at the outset with tech incompatibility and the problems inherent in lack of physical ownership of product. I mean, I’m trying really hard not to be “Old Man Yells At Cloud” here, but I look at my computer, which didn’t come with a disc drive because that was apparently a more expensive option somehow, and I look at this shit, and I go, “...Honestly, doesn’t anyone miss games where you just owned the disc and you played?” I can see console players being smug but given the online store and subscription services run by the biggies, we’re not far from losing disc drives on consoles either.
There’s a lot I could say about how precarious an existence it is these days. We own less and less, and there’s a security in ownership. There’s knowing that no one can take this away from you on a whim. But most people can’t afford to actually own a home, so they’re beholden to landlords who could play silly buggers with the terms of the lease at more or less any time. Job security doesn’t exist for most people, particularly given “at-will employment”. And as for things like entertainment...
Side bar: If Netflix wasn’t being such a stingy bitch about cancelling programmes before they’re due residuals, I’d probably be more or less okay with the renting of that particular service because I remember a time before all this when we couldn’t afford a VCR or cable TV so we were at the mercy of the networks a lot. And even with cable, it was just more channels where someone else controlled your programming entirely. They do have to consolidate server space somewhere - I just wish they’d do it more with older movies instead of original programming, and that it really was space consolidation instead of screwing the writers and actors and so on out of hard-earned residuals.
For things like video games, though? I mean, come on. How many of us are sitting on games we’ll play eventually but haven’t got around to yet? It’s absolute shit when we do get around to those, only to find out that no, apparently the publisher decided that it’s not profitable for them to run the game that we specifically paid for anymore. It’s one thing when it’s a MMO; it’s another when it’s a single-player game that didn’t have to be online that you paid full price for but suddenly can’t play because the publisher said so. I can live with the technology no longer being compatible because age - it annoys me, but I get it. But they didn’t have to make it need to be online. Yeah, I know, digital rights management, anti-piracy action, blah; it never works anyway and I have a whole other rant about piracy that I don’t really want to go into right now. I just want to be able to own what I bought.
Right. I’ll stop bitching and go find something else to play.

OFMD Week Day 5: AU/Crossover Mania
This is a modern AU where Ed is a car guy and Stede knows jack about cars lol and as always, also available on ao3
Stede smoothed the front if his pastel pink button up shirt. He had worked so hard to steam it yesterday only for the front to immediately wrinkle as he tucked it into his navy slacks. He’d tried to panic iron it, but it didn’t seem to hold. Now he was late for his appointment.
He pulled his car into a parking spot and turned it off, adjusting his floral bow tie—a light blue with hints of cream and pink in the flowers—before he got out and went inside the repair shop. It was hardly busy with only one person standing at the front desk chatting to a large worker with dreadlocks and a black-and-white striped shirt. Stede stood a couple feet back, starting a line.
Stede waited there for a few minutes, watching as other workers came out from the back to walk into an office to Stede’s right. The placard on the wall said “Edward Teach, Owner” which made sense. The place was called “Ed’s Car Repair and Detailing Services” after all, so this Ed guy was clearly in charge. From his point of view, he couldn’t see inside the office beyond a sliver of wall. Stede wondered what the owner looked like. Surely he would be at least as beefy as the workers that milled about, right?
As one of the workers came out of the office, he caught Stede’s gaze. This guy was much shorter but definitely not any less built, and he wore an all black mechanic’s jumpsuit. He looked Stede up and down before he grimaced, giving Stede a glare and heading out the back door again. Stede looked down at himself, wondering what had the man giving him such a look. Was it the wrinkles in his shirt? Aside from them, he thought he looked quite stylish.
The customer at the desk finished up and walked out, and Stede walked up to the desk with a smile. “Hello! I’m Stede Bonnet. I have an appointment to get my car inspected.”
The worker—his name tag read Ivan—said nothing as he typed into his computer. After a long moment, he looked at Stede and asked, “are you having any issues or do you just want it looked over?”
“Yes, there’s an issue,” Stede began. “When I try to clean the windshield, nothing happens. The cleaning liquid stopped coming out.”
Ivan blinked at Stede for a long few seconds. “Okay.” He turned back to the computer and typed some more. “We’re a bit backed up at the moment, so it will be a while before we get to your vehicle.”
Stede looked around the room. No one else was there. He turned back to Ivan. “How long do you think?"
Ivan sighed. He grabbed the mouse and clicked a few times. "Looks like we might be able to get to it tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" Stede's brows rose. "Well, you see, online it said that you would be able to see it right away, and it's a small issue. Will it really take that long? I have this important work event, you see. I need my car back by tomorrow morning."
Ivan blinked at him.
Stede let out a breath. "What if I paid extra? Is there a fee for rush service? I would gladly pay it."
Ivan did not seem to register this offer, as his expression did not change in the slightest.
"Please," Stede began to beg. "It's incredibly important that I make this event. Is there..." He looked around helplessly. "There must be something I can do..." His eyes stopped on the door to the owner's office. "May I speak to the owner? Perhaps he would understand my predicament."
Ivan sighed as he backed away from the desk and walked over to the office. "Sir," he said, opening the door slightly but not going inside, "a customer wants to speak to you."
Stede watched curiously as the door opened and a man walked out. He looked about Stede's age and had long black hair pulled back into a ponytail and a thick black beard, both graying in spots, making him look distinguished. He wore a plain black t-shirt and dark, loose pants, and his tan arms had many tattoos. As he stepped out of the office, his large brown eyes fell onto Stede, and Stede found himself unable to breathe for a moment. He hadn't expected such a beautiful man to own a repair shop.
Ed came over to the desk. He read over the document on the computer for a moment, each blink showing off how long his dark lashes were. He furrowed his brows and looked st Stede. "What seems to be the issue, exactly?"
Stede smiled apologetically. He hadn't meant to bother this nice man. "Well, I was hoping I could have my car fixed before tomorrow. I have an important event in the morning."
Ed's eyes lingered on Stede for a moment, falling slowly over his torso. He cleared his throat. "I, uh...I like your bow tie," he said, his voice a tad softer than Stede had expected.
Stede's smile brightened. "Oh! Thank you." He patted it gently with a hand. "You have excellent taste."
The corner of Ed's lips upturned just slightly before his eyes fell back onto the screen. "Well, it seems a shame to waste your time for such an easy fix. I'll grab some wiper fluid and meet you by your car."
Stede nodded. "Yes, thank you! Thank you so much."
Ed nodded and went to the back door, taking one more look at Stede before he went through it. Stede smiled to himself as he turned and went out the front door, going to stand beside his car. The owner was going to fix his car. How nice, he thought, that he would offer such a thing. Stede was beginning to worry that he would have to leave and bring his car back another day.
A moment later, Ed came out the front door and turned to look at Stede's car. He whistled. "Oh, she's a beauty."
Stede turned to smile at him. "Isn't she?" He looked at his car, a bright turquoise Ferrari. Freshly washed, not a scratch on her.
"What's her horsepower?" Ed asked. "Is she modded?"
Stede stared uncomprehending at Ed. He didn't know what any of that meant. "Uh...I don't know."
Ed looked back at Stede for a moment. "Oh," he said.
They stayed there for a moment, just looking at one another. Stede couldn't deny that Ed was an attractive man, but he was a car man, and Stede knew nothing about cars. He just thought they were pretty, and looking good was very important for Stede's job as the owner of a country club (which he hated). He wished, often, that he could just be around cars all the time. He loved looking at them and hearing them and driving them and cleaning them. He did his own detailing, and he took great pride in that, but now he wished that he had taken the time to learn more about how they worked. Now, he looked like an idiot in front of Ed.
"First, we need to pop the hood," Ed said, setting the container of orange liquid down on the sidewalk in front of the car. He looked at Stede. "Do you know how to do that?"
Stede nodded, unlocking the car and opening the front door to pull the latch that popped the hood. He closed the door and stood there, waiting for Ed to fix the car.
Ed lifted the hood and moved the rod to prop it open. His dark eyes looked up at Stede and used one finger to make a "come here" motion at him. Stede's cheeks heated but he complied, going to stand beside Ed.
Ed pointed to a bright blue cap at the front left side that read Wiper Fluid. "See this?" He pulled the cap off. "This is where the wiper fluid goes." He picked up the container he brought. "You can buy a container like this at any car shop. Shouldn't be more than a few bucks for a gallon like this." He pointed at some words on the container. "You want to make sure that you get one that won't freeze in the winter. Here, you need one that goes to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. This one also helps repel water, which will help keep your windshield looking nice even when it rains." He opened the container and began to pour it in. "Try not to spill." When about half the container was gone, he stopped and recapped it. "There. That should do it."
Stede smiled. "Wow! That was so easy." His smiled faded as he turned to look at Ed. "Oh. I suppose I didn't need to bring it in to be fixed."
Ed smiled back at him. "It's alright. I'm glad I got to see your fancy car." He returned the cap to Stede's car and closed the hood. "I'd love to take a ride in something like this one day."
Stede's heart leaped. "Are you free now?"
Ed looked at Stede, startled. "What?"
"If you're free, we can go for a ride right now," Stede said with his goofy smile. "Otherwise, I can come back some other time. It's only fair since you took the time to teach me to fix the problem with the wiper fluid."
Ed scoffed and looked back towards the car. "I couldn't. I've got a business to run. They might fall apart without me there."
Stede looked back to the repair shop. "It doesn't look all that busy to me. And you deserve a break. It must be hard running a business on your own."
Ed let out a slow breath. "I don't know..."
"It would be quick," Stede said. "Five minutes. Of course, I won't twist your arm about it. Just thought that if you would like it, I would offer."
Ed turned to look at Stede, a smile growing on his face. "Alright. Let's go.”
Stede went over to the driver's side, his hand hesitating as he reached for the door handle. He turned to look up at Ed already at the passenger's side. "Actually...would you like to switch?"
Ed's eyes widened. "You'd let me drive?"
"I figure you must be a good driver, working with car's and all," Stede said. "Go ahead." He tossed Ed the keys.
They switched sides and got into the car. Ed put the key into the ignition and started the engine, excitement blooming on his face as it roared to life. "Oh yeah. She purrs."
Ed backed up and took them out of the parking lot, speeding up as he got onto the road. Their heartbeats quickened and adrenaline rushed in as Ed went faster and faster. Then, they reached a red light, and he slammed on the brakes. Ed breathed heavy, catching his breath. He looked over at Stede, worried that he would be mad, but Stede wore a large grin.
"That was incredible," Stede said with a laugh. He met Ed's gaze. "You drive fine cars well."
They stared at one another for a long moment as their hearts raced. Then, the light turned green and Ed had to look away to drive. He took them back to the repair shop, parking in the same spot Stede had earlier. They both got out, and Ed handed Stede his keys.
“Thanks,” Ed said. “That was fun.”
”Of course,” Stede said.
Ed went to turn and head back into the shop but hesitated. “If you ever need anything else…for the car, I mean, let me know.” He pulled a business card out of his pocket and handed it to Stede. “Repairs. Detailing. Anything. I’ll personally see to it.”
Stede looked at the card, beaming. “Wonderful! And what do I owe you for the wiper fluid?”
Ed smiled. “Consider it complimentary.”
”Oh, I couldn’t possibly,” Stede said. “Please, let me pay you.”
Ed looked at Stede for a long moment. “How about dinner?”
”Dinner?” Stede gave a lopsided smile. “That sounds lovely.”
“You have my number,” Ed said before he turned and went back into the shop.
Stede watched him go with a happy sigh. He looked down at the business card again, a light feeling in his stomach. This wasn’t how he had planned for the day to go, but he wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. He got back into his car, driving off with a silly grin on his face, excited about something in his life for once. He liked this feeling. He hoped this was the start of something great.

about 10 years ago I was in need of an iron, particularly for sewing but also because I somehow just. didn’t own an iron. I went looking for recommendations and reviews, and decided that the irons that people rave about are way too fancy and in all likelihood I wouldn’t know the difference anyway.
also I’m a little weakling spoonie with frequent dislocations and other joint problems, and all the serious business irons out there looked heavy. and my sewing space is incredibly small, really just one corner in a room that’s meant to be a dining room, but is also the pass-through from the kitchen to the rest of the house. so in the end I bought a tiny little travel iron for less than $20 on Amazon, in like May 2013.
it has a steam on-off switch, and buttons to squeeze for a blast of steam, and a dial that goes from off to high with three little temperature markings in between -- no actual temperature numbers, no fabric types, just low medium high. it can hold about 1/4 cup of water at a time, and it is only barely bigger than my hand.
but I figured, for that price, if it died in a year I could just replace it and have a better idea of what other features -- which is to say, any features at all, lol -- I would want in an iron.
but then over the last decade of not infrequent use. it just. hasn’t died. it’s been a little champ of my tiny little sewing space, tackling everything I throw at it, pressing cotton and silk nice and crisp on high, but not melting polyester on the low setting, either.
I’ve never particularly babied it, since again I paid like $18 for it. I’ve always put tap water in the reservoir and often left it sitting in there, and over the nearly 10 years of its service, it’s built up a bit of calcium scale. every now and then it shows up on the soleplate, and I’ll clean it up a little bit, but that’s about it.
well today, as I was trying to squeeze in a little pressing for the next step of my RRD cosplay project, this little champ of an iron started spitting calcium water as it was heating up. just bubbling and foaming and generally looking really unwell. thankfully it wasn’t anywhere near my fabric (tho that silk has been washed and will be washed again, since it’s going to be the underdress), but I unplugged it and thought, welp, I guess it’s finally happened. I guess my little iron is finally dying.
I went to look it up on Amazon just to see if they still have it -- they do, and now it’s only $12. Jack said I should just order it, rather than risk something happening to my nice cosplay fabric.
but I find myself weirdly attached to this little workhorse of a tiny iron? not just this model, but this specific iron. we’ve been through a lot together, and I know that if I’d been feeding it distilled water all these years like I should have, it wouldn’t be so congested now.
so I went and looked up some info online about cleaning calcium scale out of irons, and followed some instructions about putting a mix of white vinegar and distilled water in the reservoir and then out through the steam system. it may need more than one round, with all the heavy water it’s had over the years, but I’m hopeful it may yet be saved. but hey, if not, at least I’ll only be out $12.
it’s just. idk. humans will packbond with anything. even literally the cheapest and simplest iron ever made.
edit: I was able to clean out the calcium build-up by putting a half and half mixture of white vinegar and distilled water in the reservoir and letting it steam off, then replacing that with distilled water, and now it’s all cleaned up and working like new again. it’s this little Sunbeam brand travel iron, for those who are curious
#2023 mood#about me#my sewing#cosplay plans#sorta#only in as much as I haven't been able to press the bit of silk organza I've been meaning to press all day

sewing machines need regular maintenance! every time you change your bobbin take a small paintbrush and clean the lint out of your bobbin compartment (& bobbin case if your machine uses one). do not use canned air to clean out your machine - this blows lint into even harder to reach places and can lock up your machine if that lint gets caught in moving parts in there. every 8-10 hours of sewing change your needle and oil your machine - your machine's manual will have instructions on how to do this. if you don't have your machine's manual on hand you can almost always find it online, usually through the manufacturer's website. if your machine's manual says not to oil it then you'll want to take it in to be serviced every 1-3 years, depending on how much you're using it.
also, ironing/pressing is so much more important than you might think it is. it may sometimes feel unnecessary but i promise you'll have a much easier time if you press (with steam if your fabric can handle it!) at every possible opportunity. look up youtube videos for ironing techniques. it may sound silly but there are better ways to iron than others, especially depending on what you're making. in my experience, frequent ironing with good technique makes the difference between something that looks good and something that looks great.
Things I wish I had read in "beginner" sewing tutorials/people had told me before I started getting into sewing
You have to hem *everything* eventually. Hemming isn't optional. (If you don't hem your cloth, it will start to thread. There are exceptions to this, like felt, but most cloth will.)
The type of cloth you choose for your project matters very much. Your clothing won't "fall right" if it's not the kind of stretchy/heavy/stiff as the one the tutorial assumes you will use.
Some types of cloth are very chill about threading, some are very much not. Linen doesn't really give a fuck as long as you don't, like, throw it into the washing machine unhemmed (see below), whereas brocade yearns for entropy so, so much.
On that note: if you get new cloth: 1. hem its borders (or use a ripple stitch) 2. throw it in the washing machine on the setting that you plan to wash it going forward 3. iron it. You'll regret it, if you don't do it. If you don't hem, it'll thread. If you don't wash beforehand, the finished piece might warp in the first wash. If you don't iron it, it won't be nice and flat and all of your measuring and sewing will be off.
Sewing's first virtue is diligence, followed closely by patience. Measure three times before cutting. Check the symmetry every once in a while. If you can't concentrate anymore, stop. Yes, even if you're almost done.
The order in which you sew your garment's parts matters very much. Stick to the plan, but think ahead.
You'll probably be fine if you sew something on wrong - you can undo it with a seam ripper (get a seam ripper, they're cheap!)
You can use chalk to draw and write on the cloth.
Pick something made out of rectangles for your first project.
I recommend making something out of linen as a beginner project. It's nearly indestructible, barely threads and folds very neatly.
Collars are going to suck.
The sewing machine can't hurt you (probably). There is a guard for a reason and while the needle is very scary at first, if you do it right, your hands will be away from it at least 5 cm at any given time. Also the spoils of learning machine sewing are not to be underestimated. You will be SO fast.
I believe that's all - feel free to add unto it.

Alright. Since that Kian Brose guy's funny little lawsuit against Mojang AB seems to be picking up steam, let me just point this out:
Kian's whole argument hinges on the idea that Mojang didn't update their End User License Agreement and Terms of Service before they cracked down on gun game servers and other "adult content". Ironically, he didn't even get an e-mail because his server wasn't up and running at the time. He found this out through a Tweet by TheMisterEpic. Even so, here's the thing…
They didn't have to update their EULA and TOS at that time. All they had to do was inform him and others of the pending updates, which they did.
Straight from the Minecraft EULA from May 2023, before the e-mails were sent, and before the EULA was changed:
We may change this EULA from time to time, if we have reason to, such as changes to our games, our practices, or our legal obligation. But those changes will be effective only to the extent that they can legally apply. For example if you use the Game only in single-player mode and don't use the updates we make available then the old EULA applies but if you do use the updates or use parts of the game that rely on our providing ongoing online services then the new EULA will apply. In that case we'll inform you of the change before it takes effect, either by posting a notice on our Website or by other reasonable means. We're not going to be unfair about this though - but sometimes the law changes or someone does something that affects other users of the Game and we therefore need to put a lid on it.
With the help of ChatGPT, here are the key phrases from the EULA paragraph above:
“We may change this EULA from time to time” – This allows Mojang to update the EULA as needed.
“if we have reason to, such as changes to our games, our practices, or our legal obligation” – Justifies changes based on various factors like game updates or legal requirements.
“changes will be effective only to the extent that they can legally apply” – Clarifies that changes will only be applied where legally permissible.
“we’ll inform you of the change before it takes effect” – The important one. This indicates that users will be notified before changes are implemented.
“We’re not going to be unfair about this” – Reinforces Mojang’s commitment to fairness when making changes. This one isn't legally relevant, but it's a nice touch.
These phrases support Mojang’s position of transparency and fairness under the law, and it very damaging to Kian's case. So… yeah. He can throw however-many millions of Swedish Krona that he wants at it, but unless Mojang and/or Microsoft decide to just roll over, for whatever reason (probably PR and good will reasons), there's no real way he can win.
Not unless his lawyer is the Swedish equivalent of Johnnie Cochran, anyway…
