Can you maybe do a Wednesday and Enid x reader (platonic or romantic) where basically the reader comes from a very rich family and likes to spoil Wednesday and Enid.
(I hope this makes sense)
Tumblr media
Is this what you wanted? Idk but I thought a headcannon format would be more sufficient for this but again idk. You tell me.
You spare no expenses when it came to Wednesday and Enid. You never bothered to try in fact because it didn’t really matter, as the money spent would eventually find itself back into your parents bank account anyways so why should you fret about accidentally crossing certain thresholds?
So when Wednesday’s typewriter starts having complications, hindering her writing time, you assured her that you would be able to get it fixed by the best people there was in fixing things. However it turns out that the typewriter was irreparably damaged and you had to buy Wednesday a new one that was personalised to be coated in a matte black colour and you even had her initials engraved on the front of it in gold cursive.
Wednesday may not have looked visibly thrilled at the new typewriter but her bland words of “I’m so ecstatic that my face can not comprehend how to convey it.” Were all you needed to know that she did in fact liked her new typewriter and began working on her book as though nothing ever happened. The next day you found a dead bird in front of your dorm, this was Wednesday’s way of saying ‘thank you.’
You even went out of your way to find enid a new part for her laptop when she complains to you that she couldn’t get anything do without it. So once again you went off to find the best shops available in Jericho that could help you in finding what you needed. Unfortunately due to it being the city of Jericho there weren’t a single good shop in sight that even had the part you needed in stock nor even in the back with the rest of the recent deliveries.
Typical.
With that you resorted to plan b and reached out online to shops elsewhere and ordered it for a next day delivery as to save yourself and enid the agonising waiting game. You even got her some other parts should this happen again but all of them were expensive and of state of the art manufacturing with the added promise of longevity and efficiency.
Enid was gobsmacked when she learnt that you did this all for her. “How can I pay you back for doing this for me?” She would ask but all you told her was that you didn’t need to be paid back for as long as she was happy and that the part was doing it’s job smoothly without any hitches, then that’s all the payment you desired.
This didn’t stop at fixing and or replacing their broken stuff but it also extended to their birthdays where you got enid more squishmellows for her growing pile, top of the range designer clothing that you’d knew she would look stunning in, new sets of nail polish, moisturisers, makeup and some new fairy lights should her current ones light their final night.
For Wednesday it was a little more trickier as she hated her birthday being celebrated in the traditional sense that you and enid were brought up with and instead you bought her an actual guillotine that she had set up next to her cello outside on the balcony of Ophelia Hall, dissection kits, things to keep her cello in top condition, some dark flowers that didn’t require much caring for, pacidermy animals much to Enid’s dismay as Wednesday would always seemingly have them face her whenever she said something that Wednesday wasn’t particularly fond of.
When Wednesday and enid try to repay you on your generosity, enid worries that due to your upbringing, you would be expecting diamonds, gold and the such thrown at your feet but Wednesday told her that she was exaggerating and that yes, you were born into an extremely wealthy family but the addams noted that you have a preference for the smaller things. So out they went to Jericho and chose a couple of things that they thought you’d might like.
Enid got you some cute toys that she though would add to your dorm along with getting you a matching snood with her and Wednesday that you could all wear to class together. Wednesday got you a necklace with a dead crow with a black Dalia sprouting from it’s heart with some of it’s crystal feathers dotted here and there up the silver chain as to give off the impression that this crow was shot out of the sky. She also got you some uncouth stuff like a hand mace or an taser for self defence for when people who couldn’t get the hint.
She wouldn’t admit it but even Wednesday was a little nervous that you might not like what they got you. However she didn’t have to continue putting belief into that thought as your eyes light up at each and everything that she and Enid got you that by the end of it you looked to both of them with the widest grin they’ve ever seen. “Thank you both so much! I love everything you’ve given me! Nobody’s given me things that I actually like!”
“What do you mean by that y/n?” Enid asks, confused.
“My parents think that splashing their money on expensive stuff for me is what I want but it’s not, I could care less about having the state of the art phone, tv, clothes, none of that matters to me but it seems that to them, that’s all that matters is to not only be rich but look rich too…so when they started putting large sums of money into my bank account, I spent it on the things that I want, on the clothes that I felt good in rather then what they think I’d look good in for their reputation. So I thank you both for these,” you told them as you squeezed one of the plushies Enid bought you close to your chest, “I love them a lot.”
“Even the taser?” Enid asked as Wednesday stared at her
You chuckled, “yes, even the taser. After all you can never be too sure when a creep is nearby.” You looked to Wednesday who’s lips almost uplifted into a proper smile but came back down into it’s neutral state just seconds later.

Endless Passion- A Sandman Fan Fiction
IX. Berceuse
Synopsis: Lord Morpheus gifts Sabine everything she has ever dreamt of without asking for a thing in return. Sabine cannot fathom how much the Lord of Dreams and Nightmares seems to care for her, but similar sentiments become more common with other Dreaming residents. Sabine, in her solitude, wonders what else he knows...
Tumblr media
There was a time in Sabine’s life where she had everything a girl could dream for. She was a spoiled child, and her upbringing was spent wanting for nothing. Two homes- one in California, the other in Lahaina, her great grandmother’s property. A prestigious school, music lessons, American Girl Dolls, her own horse and stable on her family property. She remembered traveling across oceans to resorts for the summer, Disney World in the winter. But in the unfortunate turns of her adolescence, she began to accept nice things came with a cost- to herself, to the ones she loved. Income became less expendable when her parents passed, and only so much with other family members. As Lahina burned, the fire’s stretched hand took everything she ever remembered- including her precious Casper, a white  horse she loved dearly. She accepted that a life spent as a sleep psychologist would eventually sustain her. The Dremastone copy, however, was the straw that broke the camel’s back. A majority of her heirlooms were pawned to pay the crooked con who withheld the stone. All this, she accepted, she did not deserve, nor would ever come close to accumulating for herself in life.
At least, within her life in the Waking World.
What she found here was more than she could have ever hoped.
In the center of the room, backed against the wall of where she slept prior was that exact bed she described in the foyer- with long, sweeping, sky blue curtains that billowed in an invisible breeze, held up by silver columns. Silken sheets and a quilted comforter with the appearance of clouds spread across it.
She trembled, reaching forward to see the quilt patterns resembling breadfruit and passion flower stitching, just as her mother’s quilt did back in her apartment. Above her were vaulted ceilings, and a night sky welcomed her with shooting stars and dimming lights. She had every piece of furniture from her lost heirloom collection, delicately painted with silver and icicle blue etchings- a vanity, the chaise lounge with a surface that shimmered with diamonds, and her grandfather’s wardrobe standing guard, towering over her. Her favorite Monet print- Dancers in Blue, hung delicately on one wall, with arched windows and a terrace overlooking the Dreaming to her right. Fresh cut plumerias danced across the surface of water in floating glass viles alongside tea light candles, welcoming her with their delicate scent. It was equally elegant and comfortable. Every corner was a perfect balance of home and her desires for pretty things- a handful, she recognized from her apartment, one being the bookshelf of journals, with another leaflet open and empty. Beside it, a writing desk for more journaling and writing whatever she pleased. She had time now for all of it. Her eyes caught a leather-bound makeup kit with multiple tears, with silver-handled brushes itching to be used. Fragrance oils and colognes glimmered in the light coming in from the windows. All the pretty things she had ever saved in unemptied online shopping carts back home. Sabine wiped the corner of her eyes to conceal the tear that shed. She was rendered speechless, turning back to the giving Endless, whose smile grew, slowly.
“I don’t know what to say.” Sabine uttered in a near whisper.
“You neednt say a word.” Dream affirmed, matching her tone, “Upon visiting your sister, I came to learn of your beautiful world, both dreaming and awake. And I decided to bring home to you.”
Sabine’s feet shifted. She did not know whether to run away from him or to embrace him. Or to yell, or to weep, or to do all those things at once.
“How did you know?” She asked, “And… Why?”
“The brevity of your promise to protect Kalea has touched something within me.” Lord Morpheus approached the floating vases of water and made an adjustment, his fingertip sounding a loud ping into the room, “Your selflessness will not be forgotten.”
Sabine slowly sank to the edge of her bed, resting a hand on her healing injury, too stunned to speak. Her hand ran over the quilt. Yes- it was HER bed. Everything belong to her. Lord Morpheus took this as his cue to give her space.
“I shall leave you to rest for the evening.” Lord Morpheus said, “So you can become accustomed to your living space. There is an attached bathroom as well, in the next door over.”
She was terrified to even look in the bathroom, but that would mean a test against the figure himself over one specific item within. A majority of these things she had written in journals- that he either knew because she was a dreamer, or he had read it.
“The interior of the wardrobe, however, may take some time to populate,” Lord Morpheus added, “You will find some clothes there for now, but that may change soon.”
“I’ll keep my eyes peeled then.” She said, “And the bookshelf… that’s for Lucienne’s delivery, right?”
He nodded.
“There will be times I will be out to aid dreamers in my realm, or collaborate in other realms beyond this one.” Morpheus said, “You are free to roam the grounds of this palace, and Fiddler’s Green is always open to you. However, the rest of the Dreaming is vast and plenty- I only ask you wait for me, should you choose to explore another day.”
“So I can wander a little?” She asked, “Well. I figured in situations like this there was something forbidden. No limits, anything to steer clear of?”
“That is inevitable.” Lord Morpheus’s tone grew a little more serious, “There are two locations that I ask you to avoid- the House of Mysteries and the House of Secrets, and the easternmost edge, where the night sky touches a mirrored surface of murky waters. You shall not enter there.”
“I understand.” Sabine said, “.... I’m curious. But I understand. With names like that, I’d be hesitant to enter anyways. And technically, wouldn’t that be three places?”
“You are weary.” Morpheus quipped, “We shall speak of this more another day.”
“Wait, when can I see you again?” Sabine stood, her arm wrapping around the bedpost, “I mean… I know you’re busy. I’ll always find ways to occupy myself but…”
She pulled back in shame at her own desperation to be close to him again, “So we can make time for those answers….”
“Tomorrow afternoon, when the sun is at its highest.” He answered, “I will see you then. And I will show you what I mean.”
“Okay…” Sabine concealed her smile, “Thank you, Lord Morpheus.”
He looked back at her in the doorway, “For what?”
“For being so kind to me.” Sabine replied, “For giving me such beautiful things even when… When I nearly ruined everything.”
The Lord’s ocean eyes glimmered on the surface.
“Sabine.” Her name on his lips sounded like poetry, “As you remain here in the Dreaming, there is no necessity for formally addressing me. I have gone by many names before. You may call me by my name beyond a title. My other creations address me as Dream. You are more than welcome to call me as either, Morpheus, or as Dream the Endless. Whichever you decide, will not offend me.”
His words seemed to unfurrow the stitch in her neck and shoulders, relaxing them. A soft sigh of relief left her lips. She smiled, looking down at the ground a moment before returning to look up at him again.
“Good evening, Morpheus.” Sabine said, “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
He was pleased seeing her at ease, “Good evening to you, Sabine.”
As he shut the door behind him, a hand fell over her mouth to shut out the muffled scream that clattered beneath.
“Sweet dreams!” She stupidly uttered, soon covering her mouth as the door shut, “Sweet dreams my ass! Stand up!!!! Stand! Up!”
Sabine couldn’t decide if she was talking to herself or just processing the gift she had been given.
“I’m beating his ass into next week.” Sabine stammered, “He better not spoil me. I’m insufferable enough.”
She shook it off, checking her new room one more time. Her head was spinning as if she had something to drink.
“This is all mine.” She whispered, “All of it. Oh my god, Kalea. Kalea is… No. I can’t.” She shook her head, “But…The bathroom was fine before. He couldn’t have… I swear to-”
She ran across the carpeted flooring to reach the doorhandle. The door opened into a large turkish bath, with circular ceilings light by golden fire. At the center, a pearl hued chamber filled with lily pads and simmering crystal waters. Above her, in marble ceiling frescos of a sunset sky were stained glass windows of sirens at play, that seemed to shimmer with movement. She let out a small cry of joy, stomping her feet.
“I’m going to kill him!” She exclaimed, “He didn’t- and the sinks!” She cried, admiring the polished amenities before circular mirrors. But one thing in particular was what she was desperate to look for- and there, in its own protected corner surrounded by curtains was what she was looking for.
Meanwhile, Dream was waiting patiently within earshot of Sabine’s chambers. He leaned against the palace wall, listening intently. He was grinning like a fool already at her ranting and raging.
Soon, he delighted at the sound of Sabine’s squealing laughter from within her room, leaning against the wall outside. The joyous, bubbling, infectious sound brought a smile to his face.
“Shut UP!” her voice buzzed from inside the walls, “He fucking didn’t! He got me a golden fucking toilet!”
Her hands clapped aloud, as the thud of her jumping footsteps shook the wall. Her voice broke into brusts of wheezing and silence, as she hollered with glee at such a cheeky gift.
“I’ll feel guilty later.” Sabine exclaimed, “Shiiiiyet, I’m taking a bath in this now. And is there- If there’s champagne and strawberries I might actually-”
“Look on the counter again, Sabine.” Dream murmured, pointing his finger upwards. On cue, another shrill giggle of glee rattled the wall, followed by a champagne cork popping.
“Call me materialistic, But this is mine now!” She wondered aloud.
He walked away quickly, on fast feet, trying to conceal his laughter. Lucienne approached him coming from the opposite direction with the cart of her book haul. Her brow arched high, she exchanged a knowing glance with her creator as he passed. Here was an immortal figure acting like a youth in love for the first time, pretending to be shocked he was caught with a spring in his step.
“Not a word.” Morpheus chided.
Lucienne put her hands up while guiding the cart, “I had no means to say anything aloud, sire.”
He kept walking, forcing himself not to look back. Matthew was right about one thing.
He was most certainly in for it now.
And so was Sabine, that night after an everything bath, an entire bottle of champagne, and more sensible pajamas, curling within the quilt he so kindly provided her. It did not smell like her childhood home, but that was okay. Gardenia and night jasmine bloomed, their soft perfume coming from the mini moon garden on her balcony. Her wet hair formed into soft curls with more volume than she could ever try at home, but a chill had settled. The guilt washed over her in silent tears to sleep again, as her back faced moonlight pouring through from the windows he carefully made. There was no shortage of tenderness in every inch of the place, not even in the photo Dream left on her bedside table of her and Kalea only four years prior. Her thumb brushed over her sister’s photo, as she curled deeper within herself.
As Sabine dragged herself to bed, finally, in the inky hour of Dream’s skies, she couldn’t help but to ponder- if Kalea was finally freed from night terrors- would it ve possible to find her too, in the Dreaming? Would she know where to find her? And if so… Would Kalea forgive her?
Her bereavement was interrupted, if for a moment, by the comforting bed that was made for her. She ran her hand across the satin sheets, in awe of them not making her slide off. A shadow loomed over her- a partial curtain moving on its own to block her eyes from the blinding moonlight. She rolled on her side, burrowing herself deeper into the covers. Tomorrow she would try to find more answers about Morpheus. But for now, she forced herself to sleep- her mind not wandering far from the way his silhouette towered over her. The sound of his gentle voice swarmed her thoughts enough already. And how she, deep down, craved the comfort of his protective arms when she ached, wondering what the velvet inside his coat felt like if she had rested against it for a moment. And she should’ve been angry to think such things. It was selfish. And maybe she had a right to be a little selfish after spending years pretending not to be.
After all…. If he could make dreams possible, what else did he know about her deepest fantasies?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Author's note- True story, having a golden toilet is an extremely unserious dream I've always wanted for years. And I do not know why. When I was a kid, I genuinely thought that was a flex. Is it still? Yes. Is it impractical? Who the hell cares?!
Anyways... Tune in next week. I'm not sure if I'll post on Easter, It might be moved to the Friday before. You'll see!

Whether your kids live in rural Iowa or downtown NYC. If they have cosplaying parents or only they just learned about Halloween. Astrid and Leah bring that excited, welcoming, Con energy to their student’s computer screens all over the world.
The platform is Outschool. It’s been around since 2015 and started as a go-to for homeschoolers. During the  COVID-19 pandemic, Outschool grew beyond homeschooling. It became a place for learning and socializing whether you homeschool or not. Now serving over 1 million learners in 195 countries, Outschool has thousands of classes for ages 3 - 18. Learn about dinosaurs from a paleontologist. C# coding from a game developer. Or cosplay from an expert seamstress and a professional actress.
Tumblr media
Astrid Turner, bubbly and all smiles, remembers standing in line at a Con: “The cosplay community is one of the most supportive and wonderful communities out there. When I cosplay, it’s not attention on me. It’s attention for something we share. We already know we like the same things. The craftsmanship, the idea that you’re there together, dressed up, having an experience together.”
Astrid teaches Cosplay Costume Design and Creation Workshops and anything else costume-related (just send her a request). She can pleat a skirt, put a bodice in, and bring kids out of their shells with ease. Part of her class includes real-world skills like comparison shopping; if you’re asking mom to buy it, you need to have a plan.
What does Astrid hope her students walk away with from taking her class ? Ask about her experience teaching online classese.
With a classroom maximum of 5, Astrid gives personalized attention to all of her students. Some enroll with a  clear costume vision. Others just love Anime. Either way, Astrid helps them follow their own creativity and make it a reality.
Do they need a sketch? No problem. Does the fabric need to be washable? She knows just the thing. And costumes are just the beginning. Her eyes light up when she talks about intuitive, introverted students growing and connecting as the weeks go by. Someone who barely spoke in their first class is now the first one to share their progress and welcome a new student. They find their people and their voice.
Tumblr media
Leah Johnson, artful and confident, talks about her experience at Cons: “It feels like everyone is a family. They want to welcome you in. It’s an excitement of sharing. Always. Of what they’ve made, what they’ve done, other cons that they’ve gone to, and people they’ve met. Everyone there wants to inspire each other.”
Leah teaches Special FX, Halloween, and Cosplay Makeup or one-on-one classes by request. Some of her students want to become professional makeup artists. Some want to scare their grandmas with fake wounds. In both situations, Leah is raring to go! And so is her washable Mehron Practice Makeup Head - currently sporting terrifying clown makeup from her last class.
Every class is unique. Some learners pop in with full, top-of-the-line makeup kits and some join with leftovers from the makeup wearer in their house. Part of the fun for Leah and her students is figuring out how to create looks with what you’ve got. It’s a great life lesson too. Sometimes you’ll need a specific product but sometimes you just need to be resourceful. Leah playfully refers to it as preparing for the zombie apocalypse when you won’t have all the tools. Her personality beams through the screen as she uses her makeup head to show makeup techniques, up close, and with student-requested variations. For Leah, the online part wasn’t her favorite. There’s an unquantifiable distance when you’re interacting online. You aren’t in the same space. It’s not the same as in person. But she makes that work too. And it’s a small inconvenience compared to the big benefit: bringing creative, accepting spaces to students wherever they are in the world.

And it’s a small inconvenience compared to the big benefit: bringing creative, accepting spaces to students wherever they are in the world.
HOW IT STARTED
Astrid and Leah both grew up loving costumes but they didn’t find out about cosplay until much later. In each of their separate hometowns, they were that kid in full costume at the grocery store. Or decked out like crazy on Halloween. Sound familiar?
Astrid remembers her first Ren Faire: “My first costume was a disaster but I was so proud of it! Ever since then, I knew I wanted to make costumes.” Growing up in a rural area outside LA, she always wanted to go to the San Diego Comic-Con but she didn’t have anyone to go with and didn’t want to go by herself. None of her friends were cosplayers - a term she didn’t even know existed.
She taught herself to sew, learning by creating more and more complex projects. Elaborate Elizabethan gowns with striking details for the next faire.
As she grew older, Atrid took a detour, exploring other career paths but she came back to sewing when her kids were small. Making clothes and costumes for them brought back that magic. And the internet showed her there was a whole community out there. No longer the only cosplayer in town, she dove in head first.
Now Astrid and her 3 kids (ages 13, 10, and 7) attend Cons every chance they get. In full costume, of course. She enters competitions in the handmade category and, though she’s modest, has taken home more than one win. In middle school, Astrid was big into theatre, Shakespeare, and creating Renaissance costumes.
An actor, director, voiceover artist, and singer, Leah cosplays characters from Arwen to Cruella De Vil to Mary Poppins. She teaches makeup and cosplay on Outschool but does both professionally for film, theatre, and events. To name a few, she designed costumes for the TV show Kookville and a stage production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. She even did makeup and created costumes for the movie Demon Squad, which you can find in Season 13 of Mystery Science Theatre 3000. She believes that cosplay isn’t just about expressing yourself, it’s about developing yourself and creating a full aesthetic. Beyond that, she wants her students to know, they can make a career out of their creative passions. And she’ll help them do it.
Leah talks about her first Ren Faire experience: “It felt awesome because I was trying to be intentional about creating a costume for me. Not for a play. Not for someone else based on their vision. It was my vision. It was what I wanted to do.”
You feel different in your cosplay. The persona, the confidence. It can be hard to describe but Astrid and Leah teach toward that feeling in every class.
Specializing in Elizabethan and Italian Renaissance costumes, Astrid also cosplays Collei from Gensin Impact and loves growing her skills in the anime genre. She even runs a social club on Outschool where Genshin fans can hang out virtually and game together.
Astrid beams: “A lot of kids and adults choose a character and they try to match that persona. It’s a little bit of safety. I’ve had people scream ‘OH MY GOD ITS COLLEI’ and run over to me. Under normal circumstances that wouldn’t happen. But at Cons, it’s so exciting. It’s amazing to connect with other people through that persona.”
*** Leah, with her cosplay weapon collection behind her: “You feel more confident in your character’s costume. It’s a projection of your best self. A lot of work, your imagination, and your brain is now projected on the outside. People can see that part of you that they can’t see in any other situation.”
Leading by example, Leah shows her students that they can make their creative passions into careers. She beams when she talks about a student getting confident enough to make an Actor Instagram account. Or doing professional-level wedding makeup for their entire family.
Teaching online from Arkansas since 2018, Astrid volunteered for the first-ever Outschool Cosplay Convention in 2021. Now called GameCon, the 2-day event featured presentations at different times of day for different timezones. Sessions about costume design, makeup, theatre performance, and more. And, most exciting of all, the costume showcase. Every kid got a chance in the spotlight to show off their creations. Astrid, laughs now: “I burst into tears when I logged off. It was such a rush of emotions. I found my people! I wish I had this when I was a kid.”

Peaceful Mother Nature
1. Reusable cups are a great alternative to things like single use water bottles and single use cups! Reusing or refilling these single use items is also an option! Reusing single use products is a great way to cut down on waste. Refilling a plastic water bottle or using an old coffee-shop cup as a pen/paint brush/makeup brush/pencil holder on your desk is a great way to try and help reduce the use of single-use plastics. Remember! It isn't single use if you use it more than once!
2. Have clothes that are falling apart? Don't we all! Fast fashion sometimes feels unavoidable, so don't feel bad! Youtube and google are free! If you have some clothes that have holes, tears, or fraying seems, hop online and teach yourself how to fix them. There are lots of places that sell/give out inexpensive or free sewing kits! This also works for blankets and sheets!
3. Unpaper towels have risen in popularity recently, and I think that's great! But let's face it friends, not everyone can afford to spend upwards of $15 on what is essentially a single roll of paper towels that you have to wash in order to reuse, especially when paper towels are more convenient than having to do laundry every day or two to make sure you have a full roll. Lots of stores like Walmart or Target have large packs of rags you can buy for relatively cheep! Some stores have 5-10 packs for $5-$10! Rags are the same dang thing as unpaper towels, friends! Also, paper towels are made of paper. Paper is soluble in water and, aside from glossy or colored paper, is compostable! Throw those used paper towels into a compost pile or a bucket with food scraps, and you're set!
4. Speaking of composting! Let's talk about accessible composting. Not everyone has the space or the time for large compost piles, big rotating compost bins, or giant barrels to dump their compost into. It may seem daunting, but composting is much easier than some companies and some people make it out to be! As always, google and youtube are free! Look up your options! Countertop compost bins can be anywhere from $5 to $500! More advanced ones obviously come with more advanced settings, but a $5 plastic compost bin from Target is just as valid as a $400 Lumi smart composter! Shop online for a counter top bin, or go to a gardening/hardware store and get a cheap plastic bucket with a lid. Most food scraps and paper are compostable and you can use your own compost as fertilizer for plants, offer it to local gardens and neighborhood gardens, or let friends and family use it in their own gardening endeavors
5. Lastly, contact your local, state, and federal government about legislation and requirements for massive companies and millionaires/billionaires to be liable and responsible for their own environmental impact. We as individuals can do all we can in our day to day to reduce our own waste, but the problem does not fall on us alone. Massive companies, the oil and gas industry, and our own governments have a giant role in this. Keep the pressure on the government to push for stricter laws and regulations. Pressure companies to move towards more eco-friendly methods of production and distribution. Make billionaires and their friends face repercussions to the direct impact they have on the planet. Companies and the people who run them must be held accountable for their hand in the destruction they cause and benefit from. Remember friends, we are not the problem. But we can try our best to help. Sign and share petitions, donate when you can, and make your voices heard.

A Halloween Tale
It’s the day after Thanksgiving, so I might as well talk about this past Halloween. What follows are the posts I originally made on Twitter while waiting in the Indiana Jones queue at Disneyland, which I didn’t even get to ride because it kept breaking down.
Tumblr media
I’m gonna laugh if what finally convinces me to transition is coming to Disneyland for my monthly visits and missing that feeling of Halloween night when everyone perceived me as female.
Like, my brain has associated being called “miss” and referred to as a “lady” with being at Disneyland/DCA. And now being here in boy mode just doesn’t feel right.
I guess since I’m on the subject and Twitter may not be here much longer, and as Transgender Awareness Week comes to an end, might as well talk about Halloween.
So, I had been considering “crossdressing” for Halloween for a while. Pretty much since I started becoming aware that I was probably trans. And the costume I most wanted to wear was a witch.
I didn’t want to just “dress as a girl” for Halloween like some cis guys (and trans eggs) do. And I didn’t want it to be a joke either. Also, I prefer doing traditional Halloween characters and monsters for costumes. Thus, a witch was my costume of choice.
My partner and I had already had plans for the DCA Halloween event. It was like a week or so before, and we hadn’t really done anything about costumes. Much to my surprise, it was actually her that brought up that she had never gone as a witch.
Now, my partner has no clue that I’m trans. She probably should though. There have been signs. But I think she’s even more in denial about it than I was. Or she’s just oblivious. Either is possible. But with her bringing up exactly what I wanted to go as, something I had wanted to to do for years…
Tumblr media
So I was like, “I’ve never gone as a witch either.” Clarifying I meant a female witch. Meaning that I had never done any kind of drag for Halloween and that it seemed like a bucket list item to check off.
She was surprisingly fine with the idea. She had no problem with it. She was game. We would both go as witches, a coven of two. So we shopped around the local Halloween stores. I found most of what I needed there, but she had to get most of her stuff online.
I then spent the next week getting the rest of what I still needed online too. Like I said, I didn’t want this to be “obviously a guy dressed as a woman” for Halloween. I wanted to go all out. I wanted to be perceived as a woman dressed as a witch. I figured I’d still be seen as a trans woman because I can’t see me passing for cis at this point, but I would be happy with that.
I forget exactly what I said to her about how I wanted to look for the night, but she went along with everything without any real fuss. It was odd but reassuring how cool she was with the whole thing.
So, I already had the witch dress, hat, thigh high striped stockings, and a makeup kit with black lipstick, eyeshadow and nail polish. I had a belt from another costume and a pentacle pendant from my Wiccan phase in my younger days. My hair is already super long so a wig was not needed.
There were a few other things I needed to get online to complete the look: some makeup and brushes to help conceal my five o’clock shadow, some kind of purse or handbag to carry things so I didn’t have to bring my regular backpack. And a bra.
I ended up getting this tank top that was also shape-wear with a built-in padded bra. I created some homemade breast forms by filling some dress socks with stuffing, like you use in plush animals. It worked out pretty well actually.
So, a few orders online and I had everything I needed. I painted my nails, for the first time, the night before. I didn’t do too bad a job, but I wish they had been longer that week. And I kind of miss the painted nails. I left the polish on for a few days afterwards l, and I really just want to paint them again
I got up early the day of to get ready. Again, I was going all out. I wanted people to see me as a  trans woman dressed as a witch for Halloween and not as a male crossdressing. Or at least for them to be a little unsure. So that meant shaving.
Now, I shave my face normally so that was no big deal. But for this, I shaved my chest, shoulders, arms, hands, underarms and calves. I didn’t need to shave quite this much, but I got a little excited and carried away. I also really enjoyed not having that body hair for the first time since puberty, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t shave anymore after that day.
After shaving and showering, I did my makeup. I have never done this before other than trying some lipstick as a teen. I had watched a few tutorials online and tried the best I could. The results weren’t great but they weren’t bad either. I wish it concealed the shadow better and was less pale, but it would do.
I did what I could with my hair, trying to make it a little more feminine than I usually do. I had the shapewear on, all padded up. I finished up the accessories and voila. I was a witch. And it was pretty awesome. Gender euphoria was achieved that night for sure.
The event itself was a blast. People complimented the costume. Most people, especially cast members, treated me as a woman. I got called “miss” and things like that. People mostly referred to the two of us as “ladies.” It was great. I actually got what I wanted to happen that night. People saw me as a woman and treated me accordingly.
I still used the single occupant bathroom though because there was no way I was using the men’s room how I was dressed and felt much too uncomfortable to use the ladies’ room. Although I probably could have used the latter without incident.
There were two highlights to the evening. The first was when we were getting a photo op taken, the photographer asked us if we were witches from Hogwarts. I responded, “No. Definitely not.”
The second and best highlight was when we went through the trick or treat trail in Avengers Campus. That was where Agatha Harkness was (the witch from WandaVision and Marvel comics). And she was excited to see two fellow witches come through after a constant stream of superheroes and Disney princesses. She was an absolute delight. She asked us what spells we had been casting and I told her “Candy summoning,” while holding up my overstuff trick or treat bag. Super fun interaction.
And that was more or less the evening. I’ll post more if I think of anything I have forgotten or have any further thoughts. (Note: I did not post any follow ups on Twitter but might here)
The only real down side was my partner kind of being the only one to make a point of using male pronouns to refer to me. Don’t break the illusion! Play along, dammit! I’m not sure if there were any bad intentions behind it, but it felt unnecessary for her to do it. I’m sure it confused some people.
And that’s the end of the original post from Twitter. I have edited it somewhat here, added some bits. I know there’s more I could probably talk about. This was my first time fully dressed up as a woman, in private or in public. So a momentous occasion to be sure. And now every weekend when I go out, especially back to Disney, I find myself wanting to be dressed like this, minus the Halloween theming.

Safe Makeup for Kids: Choosing the Right Products
As more children express interest in makeup, parents need to prioritize safety. When it comes to safe makeup for kids, it’s important to select products that are gentle, hypoallergenic, and free from harsh chemicals. Children's skin is more sensitive than adults, making them more susceptible to reactions from synthetic ingredients. For this reason, always opt for natural and non-toxic makeup that is designed specifically for younger skin. Reading labels and choosing products free from parabens, phthalates, and artificial dyes is essential to ensure your child's safety.
Parents should start with basic items like light lip balms or blushes. For example, a simple makeup products set designed for kids can include safe essentials such as kid-friendly eyeshadows, blushes, and gentle lip glosses. Such kits make great introductory tools for children who want to experiment with makeup while keeping their skin healthy. By ensuring the items are non-toxic and safe for their delicate skin, you can encourage creativity without risking irritation or harmful effects.
Makeup Products Set for Kids and Teens
If your child is showing an interest in makeup, it might be time to consider purchasing a makeup products set specifically designed for young users. These sets usually include beginner-friendly items like eyeshadows, blush, and lip glosses that are suitable for children or teens. They allow for safe experimentation without the worry of using products that are too harsh for young skin.
When selecting a cosmetic kit online, look for sets that highlight their commitment to safe ingredients. A good set will include makeup tools that are non-toxic, skin-friendly, and free of potential allergens. It's equally important that they offer various shades and tones, ensuring kids can explore makeup in a fun yet safe environment. By purchasing a complete makeup set, young users can learn basic makeup skills while maintaining their skin's health and safety.
Lip Gloss for Teenagers: Safe and Stylish Choices
One of the most popular items for teenagers starting out with makeup is lip gloss for teenagers. It offers a touch of glamor without being overly bold or mature. Unlike traditional lipstick, lip gloss provides a more natural sheen, making it perfect for teenagers who are just beginning their makeup journey. When purchasing lip gloss, it’s important to look for products that are hydrating and free from harsh chemicals. Natural ingredients like beeswax, shea butter, and vitamin E can help keep lips moisturized, providing both style and skincare benefits.
As teenagers often deal with sensitive skin, it's essential to ensure the lip glosses they use are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. This will minimize the risk of irritation or allergic reactions, allowing them to enjoy their beauty routine safely.
Cosmetic Kit Online: A Convenient Way to Shop
In today’s digital age, shopping for a cosmetic kit online has become incredibly convenient. Parents and teens alike can explore a wide variety of makeup products that cater to younger audiences. Whether you're looking for individual items like lip gloss for teenagers or complete sets designed for beginners, online stores offer an extensive range of options to choose from.
When shopping for makeup online, always prioritize checking product descriptions and reviews to ensure the items are safe for kids and teens. Look for certifications that guarantee the makeup is dermatologically tested, cruelty-free, and made with natural ingredients. A well-curated cosmetic kit will offer a balanced selection of makeup essentials while ensuring the safety and well-being of young users.
