how they find out — Lucifer suspected you were going through something because he knows how it’s like to be depressed and he senses those signs from you, he catches you in the act one day while you are harming yourself.

What they do- he doesn’t really know what to do at the beginning, when he first catches you, he gets a little angry at himself that he couldn’t help you before you got to the point of inflicting pain onto yourself, he kinda just would cradle you and tell you all the reasons he likes you for you. Later that evening he’d go deep diving into mental health, he learns a lot a he learns some things that help him with his mental health as well. He tries things that he’s learned online to help you and tests multiple distractions to maybe see if any of them work for you. He’s uneducated on the topic but he will go out of his way to learn more and keep you safe.

Angel dust:

how they find out — He didnt suspect you’d be doing those types of things because you were always so calm and relaxed around him, not an ounce of stress or anxiety on your features at all. Until one day Husk was talking to him about how everybody acts when they’re drunk and when husk got to you his demeanor changed and he said that the way you acted when you were drunk was tad concerning. Later that day he questions you and you fess up.

What they do- He nods when you fess up but doesn’t bug you on the topic anymore instead he just quietly walks away in understanding and goes to cry in his room, he felt really messed up about it and couldn’t drop it after that because he knows how it feels to feel so helpless that you turn to negative things to keep you “happy”, the next day he decides to help you with the way he helps himself when he gets like this, so he goes into your room and offers to get your mind off some things and go shopping with him instead. That becomes a routine for you two, whenever you get the temptation to take the pain out onto yourself or when you have anxiety or breakdowns, you can always go to him and he’ll distract you with another hangout session, most of the time he’s getting you out of the hotel for some fresh air whether that be for more shopping, watching a movie, or eating some food he’ll do it just to make sure you don’t hurt yourself anymore..and you best believe the check is always on him!!

how they find out — He wasn’t trying to intrude or be creepy, he really wasn’t but, he watches everybody in the Vee tower with cameras, and when his camera happened to stop on you and show what you were doing in what you thought was a private area, he kinda glitched out for a second.

What they do- He immediately zaps around the tower to go find you, once he sees you in the living room of the Vee tower, he confronts you head on about the subject, it almost throws you off and if you were a tv head like him you’d be glitching too. You question how he figured it out but he says to nevermind that. He gets a little angry not at you but mostly at himself, he really does appreciate you he just doesn’t know how to show it, so instead he strictly tells you to never hurt yourself again, or he’ll have to hypnotize you not to. He knows that just firmly telling you won’t help, so instead he has more cameras set up around the tower for extra measures..and whenever he sense you’re feeling slightly off, he keeps an extra eye on you.

Valentino:

how they find out — you kinda told him yourself, he didn’t really think that you were feeling sad or depressed in any way, until he asked to shower with you and you kept denying, which was odd of you since you guys have bathed and showered together many times, Valentino is about to throw a pissy fit and ask you why in his usual whines until you come out and just say it.

What they do- he’s stunned, he instantly feels like and asshole for bugging you and, he pulls you into him to cuddle, that’s how you both stay that night, cuddled up and crying into eachother with kisses and everything. Val doesn’t really know how to make you feel better per say, so he does what he’s good at, which is gift giving, he puts his money to good use on you, hoping it will make you feel better, he may even buy you a hellhound or another hellish support animal to keep you happy while he’s gone at shoots, he’ll also ask Vox to install cameras on you as well behind your back. And he’ll treat and spoil you like royalty!!!

these questions are pretty similar so i'll answer both at once.

to buy from a chinese indie brand, you need two things: the brand's taobao link and a proxy site account. taobao is a chinese storefront (?) that most of these stores are hosted on. there are plenty of western stores online that also carry taobao brand clothing - like arcana archive, glitch cupids, and pixie rebels - but i would recommend just getting your stuff from a proxy as those stores often up the prices of the clothes.

note that it can be a bit of a struggle to get the taobao link of a store, especially if you don't have an account (which is notoriously difficult to get these days), but i did find some link lists! (mostly lolita stuff as that's what taobao is most popular for among alt fashionistas ^_^)

some other brands that i recommend -

eyeelike - y2k inspired, though their stock is usually very limited. sizes up to UK 10-12 (L) i believe

so, now that you have the link, you need a proxy site. this is so that you can send the clothes over from china to your own country. in the past, i would've recommended pandabuy, but it died a few months ago due to illegal replica selling. for that, i'd recommend avoiding proxies that allow replicas, because they might go under while you're trying to get clothes shipped. (that happened to me T_T)

now all you do is use the search bar (make sure it's on the "shop" mode rather than "product"), and plug in the link to the shop you want to buy from, and it should be the first result. get all your clothes, and now all you have to do is have them shipped out! shipping usually costs a lot (£20+ from my experience) and if you're buying a haul, it can be over £200 for just 4-6 items, so i'd recommend only buying stuff you KNOW you're going to wear often and enjoy. shipping should only take 2-3 weeks (at least in my experience - i live in the UK, it might take more time in the US.) and boom! now you can dress like those cool girls on xiaohongshu!

there are also two western stores i'd like to go over that have similar clothes - sixth dimension and minga london.

sixth dimension has many good qualities - they have more inclusive sizing (up to UK XL), reasonable prices based on their quality, and they restock and do sales often. i heavily recommend them if you can't afford the high shipping prices or if the sizing is too limited for you!

unfortunately, i have less nice things to say about minga london. they're highly extortionate in terms of pricing - i've seen shein quality cardigans sold for upwards of £70, for example. they do drops often, and have been accused of fast fashion but i'm not sure if that's legit or not. they've also stolen designs in the past. however, they do have inclusive sizing, up to XXXL. i'd recommend only buying from them if they're doing a sale, or if you literally have no other choice.

now regarding fruits mag - unfortunately, you can't buy from them. fruits mag is a japanese magazine that went over a variety of different street styles, so if you want to buy from fruits, you'd have to buy from the brands that the people in the magazines are wearing. as fruits was most popular in the 2000s, most of those brands are defunct...however, i do have some recommendations for japanese alternative brands!

alice and the pirates - popular lolita fashion. pretty good sizing i think, and they do worldwide shipping too iirc.

baby the stars shine bright - same as aatp, but more "cutesy".

acdc rag - yami kawaii type clothes with inclusive sizing.

dearmylove - jirai kei/dark girly clothing and beautiful shoes. inclusive sizing, i'm pretty sure they have a full plus size range! also collabed with needy streamer overdose lol

liz lisa - lolita/mori kei/girly styles and pretty coats. quite expensive tho...

moi-meme-moitie - the brand of malice mizer's guitarist mana-sama! gothic lolita. i'm not sure about sizing or prices.

6%dokidoki - yume kawaii and decora style. very colorful! i'm not sure about sizing.

angel blue - japanese kids clothing, usually worn in general kawaii and jojifuku styles. as it's for kids, the sizing is NOT inclusive at all, UK size S-M at the most from what i've seen. usually you can only find resellers on depop, but the pricing usually isn't horrible.

other than brands, i'd recommend looking for clothes thrifting on and offline (hit big city thrift stores for better chances of alt clothing), buying accessories from verified etsy sellers, and just looking around the house for anything you can turn into an accessory or part of an outfit! i hope this post helps you though!

How does this work? You show me 6-8 pages of comics storytelling. I'll give you feedback based on my 30 years in comics. What works, what doesn't, how to tweak a panel for clarity or impact, tips for saving labor- the sort of advice your teacher at a comics class might offer.

I'm not there to hire you, or read your pitch, or introduce you to a publisher. I'm there to look at the pages you've drawn. I restrict this to comics pages- storytelling- because that's what I know. Scripts, stand-alone illustrations, graphic design, posters? Not what I do.

It's fine if you work digitally, but BRING PRINTOUTS if you can. It's WAY easier to critique work on paper than on screen. I can scribble notes right on your panels, or lay tracing paper on top of them. And we won't have to deal with app glitches, battery problems, or tiny phone screens

What is the gameplay like on Gotham Knights? I have poor coordination so I have trouble with anything more complex than LOZ: Ocarina of Time. Like, on a scale of Pokémon->Dragon Age->LOZ->Dark Souls?

It's a bit clunky like Dragon Age 2, tbh. Except it doesn't have the excuse of coming out in 2011. The mechanics and camera controls are one of the things that let it down a lot, IMO.

I’m constantly getting stuck on walls and the edge of ledges because the controls feel laggy and the game’s not consistent about which surfaces you can climb and which ones you need to grapple. It's fine if you’re fighting in more open spaces but it turns the timed events into an exercise in frustration. Not to mention the number of times it feels like I’ve taken damage through an obstacle from enemy ranged attacks when my own ranged attacks bounce off invisible walls if I’m not standing in the exact spot the game needs me to be in. This results in me just key smashing melee a lot until every around me stops twitching.

I’m still enjoying it, but it is v. glitchy and I understand why people are leaving angry reviews. Especially if they are deeply committed to the immersive elements and were expecting the same level of polish from the Arkham games, which this studio also made.

I’m just casual enough a gamer that I’m enjoying muttering “parkour” to myself as I accidentally fall off buildings and plumet to my death because my graple hook glitched out and went the exact opposite way I’d been aiming.

I’m really just playing it for the characters. It feels like playing a a game written by people who understand the appeal of found family that went hard on the campier elements of the franchise while still maintaining a decent level of aching sadness for the tragedy they’ve endured.

You can feel the group fracturing under the weight of Bruce’s death with Dick doing everything he can to fill the void and stay positive and “normal” for the sake of everyone around him, including Alfred who is devastated but also trying to keep it together. Barbara, mourning an extra loss, is trying so hard to stay level headed and useful for Dick. Being both Oracle and Batgirl while also acting like a fun big sister to Tim who stands out as really young in this iteration.

Sure he’s a kid genius, but he’s also only 16 with a monumental caffeine addiction (you can’t tell me all the energy drinks on the shopping list pinned to the fridge aren’t for him) and mourning the loss of Bruce while also just wanting to do normal teenage shit, like asking the group for help with his art homework and being annoyed that his role as Robin is keeping him from spending time with his online boyfriend.

Jay is very raw and angry and obviously processing his own trauma on top of everything that just happened but even he steps up, trying to be there for Tim, teaming up with Babs to gently pick on Dick when he’s being particularly Boy Wonder-ish. Seeing him stress cook is also a nice added touch as are the photos of him and Bruce working on stuff. Bonding.

Which is another thing I Love. From what we see of him, Bruce is in his absolute DILF element in flashbacks and in recordings. All sad smiles and a gentle, head-shaking tolerance for the absolute ribbing the kids put him through for being too serious and neglecting himself. Not to mention all the pictures of him with Dick and Tim and Jason. And so many of him and Alfred and Ace. (The one on the fridge of him and Alfred showing them adopting Dick at the courthouse almost killed me. They all looked so young and happy.)

I’m getting serious “Bruce is a good dad with a warped sense of humor who hugs his kids and spends quality time with them, actually, and you’re wrong if you write him otherwise” fanon vibes, and that's honestly my favorite Bruce.

It’s basically appealing to everything I love about the franchise while scratching an itch in my brain the way crackfic taken seriously does.

And that’s enough to make me forgive the bad controls and glitches. But I could see it not being enough for some people, especially if you’ve already got poor hand eye coordination. Which I do. But again, I don’t really care about being good at games. I’m just dicking around and having fun wringing dopamine out of the narrative.

Glitchy Rorke au part 2

.. they took the disk out; it was steaming hot and overheated the consol, this is why you don't buy cheap games from eBay.

they attempted to contact the seller a day after, they let them know the issue and all they responded with was

":) maybe you're playing it wrong"

and then they blocked them

sigh, looks like they're stuck with this game that doesn't work, probably a creepypasta or a pirate, and the seller won't cooperate. Google has nothing because nothing pops up when you put in "Call of Duty Ghosts glitch" nothing besides hacks and stuff for multiplayer.

they decide to clean off the disk with premium cd cleaner you found in a cabinet, Afterall, maybe the old owner just used it so much it started to scratch the disk and break the game.

they throw the clean disk back into the console, if this doesn't work it might be something wrong in the console and should take it to a repair shop. After throwing the game back in, it doesn't start back on the title screen with all the options, it starts in the middle of the campaign, but it's not glitchy anymore!

until the characters just stopped moving, they weren't even at a cut scene

it started to glitch out again, Rorke specifically, his character model started to move weirdly, and the sound was gone, the other characters stayed still but they weren't glitching, Rorke had rgb effects around him as the character model twitched and freaked out. The game was broken.

while walking over to take the disk out of the console, the character... started banging on the screen, the glass starting to crack as the player backed up quick, to stunned to take the disk out. IT had gained consciousness and wanted out, its hand busted through the screen, glass shattered as the glitchy hand desperately tried to latch onto something, the player quickly lunged toward the consol, desperately trying to unplug the thing form the wall as the hand kept trying to grab onto something. anything. It wanted out.

after a minute (that felt like 30) the consol was unplugged and the arm faded back into black pixels. the broken tv's glass was on the floor and tv stand, the innards of the tv could also be seen, there was a large hole through the whole tv... the tv was soon also unplugged.

after that the player was too scared to go back online for the day.

The next day around 12:49 player decided to open up their laptop, it took longer to turn on than usual. When the computer was turned on the player could have sworn there was fist flying at them through the screen, it made the player jump back and pupils dilate... what the fuck... after catching their breath they unlocked the computer, almost puking when the background was replaced with Rorke. It was the photo of him staring at the player at the end of the game, eyes boring into the soul of the player, but there was something off... his eyes were bloodshot and tired. After blinking a few times, it went back to the normal photo, a picture of the player's cat. After forgetting about what they were going to do online they shut the laptop and put it in a drawer... rushing to the bathroom to splash ice water on their face... it has to be fake... this has to be fake... it's a virus... or something!!!

The player jumped nearly jumped out of their skin when they got a call... the phone was taken from the pocket... it was an unknown number, but the background of the call was glitchy... the player let out a frustrated scream this fucking thing was taking over their life... the player answered

"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS...?!?" the voice was paranoid, frustrated, and nervous. there was no answer just 3 beeps and then the thing on the other side hung up...

the player is paranoid. They started getting notification's, a lot of them.

1 from Virus protection.

As the players phone blew up, they shut it off in fear, every notification and vibrate like stab to the gut. It was unbearable. the phone turned back on, the screen glitchy and cracking just a bit. The player, with tear filled eyes picked up the phone and looked at the notifications.

player had a new massage on Tumblr...

the same image just more glitchy.

Discord wouldn't open, it kept crashing.

Virus protection was glitching out and crashed as well as the player tried to protect their phone.

after it closed all the apps were deleting themselves, the icons were glitchy and shaky. The background had set itself to the photo of Rorke.

the player quickly put the phone in their pocket and ran back to their room. Slamming the door and throwing open the draw the computer was in making it slide forward slightly. There had to be a way to fix this

Player unlocked the computer all of the applications and files were gone except for one.

Virus protection was the only notification received before that got silenced and deleted to. The player let out a choked sob as they opened the file. It needed to be deleted. The same photo, its eyes still bloodshot, tired. The image was burning itself into the players mind, every little pixel. After exiting the file, the wallpaper had also set itself as the image. Player is going insane.

It needs to be taken to a device repair store.

Book update - physical paperback fail and how to get your special munted edition copy

Hi friends! Thank you to everyone who has bought a copy of my book or have expressed interest in purchasing a copy directly from me.

Details about my book can be read here.

If you're new here, the tldr about the sale price of my book is that whatever the online stores price it at is out of my control and regardless of how much they are selling it for, I am remunerated as little as $1-2 per copy sold. The best way to let me see a bit of profit is to purchase directly from me. I have limited copies available, details are below, and an explanation as to why it has taken me so long to advertise this follows.

I haven't had the heart to post about the direct-from-author purchasing option since I received my delivery of author copies in April. What should have been a very exciting moment of opening a big box of the book I spent 6 years writing turned out to be a massive disappointment. It's a small thing, but it's a big thing all the same. It's the cover. It's not quite right and it should be right because I paid someone else to upload my book text and cover and they altered it and now I have about 30 copies of this:

It probably doesn't look bad to anyone else but to me I can tell that the font is wrong and there is a weird graphical glitch around the lettering on my name, most noticeable on letters M, N, Y and W. This glitch is also present on the book spine.

The positive is that it's still legible, it's just not exactly what it was meant to be. It was tampered with. Plus, the box was delivered with a hole in the bottom corner meaning some copies have been damaged by rain and dirt.

I have been told by the company that uploaded the book and organised author copies to be sent to me that I cannot be remunerated for the damaged copies. This company also has not rectified the incorrect cover despite me making a number of requests for them to do so. They have given no explanation and no apology. In fact they haven't contacted me since 14 June 2024.

My yearly subscription with this company is due to expire soon. If I don't make payment, they will remove my book from being available online. At this point, that is no loss to me given that it is being incorrectly listed on Amazon which is currently where the book is listed at its cheapest and most affordable price.

On the plus side, popular online shops like Waterstones, Barnes & Noble and Dymocks have my book listed for sale online with the correct book cover. At this time it is only Amazon and the e-book where the book cover is incorrect.

In any case, I have long lost trust in the company that 'helped' self-publish my book. There were many red flags before we hit go on uploading that I should have listened to. Now I am so fed up with them that I will soon have to relaunch my book.

In any case, I still have 20 Munted Versions of my book which are available to be purchased directly from me for $25 (+$30 for shipping internationally). That's $36 shipping incl. in USD. ✨How did you come up with the OC’s name?

Since he’s inspired by Amy I wanted to pick another prickly flower name. Thistle flowers can have a lot of negative connotations in flower language just as much as positive ones (aggressiveness, unwanted intrusion). If roses are known for being noble and lovely, thistles are more wild but pesky, they’re also hard to let go if you end up stuck by one. The image of thistle flower suited him the more I thought about it.

Same age as Surge.

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

Currently Surge and only Surge. He’s had previous partners but they usually don’t last very long. Current record is 1 month.

(The only tragic thing about Thistle is that he's not trying to be the worst boyfriend ever. He really wants to do good but he's too self-centered and stupid to realize that he's the problem)

Key Lime Pie, he likes anything tart but sweet.

Works part time at a flower shop in central city, he’s actually quite popular with customers.

Flower arrangement and astrology charting. Loves reading romance novels and watching old classic movies even if he gets the meaning of them completely wrong. He’s good at baking and also spends a lot of time online on social media. He’s a jack of all trades and always ready to learn something new to get closer with people in his life. He’s here for you. What more could you want from a guy :)

Anything that’s considered traditionally feminine Thistle excels at. Baking, shopping, event planning, crushing your enemies. But even with all of that he’s incredibly good at finding information. Does his new crush have a favorite band? Well Thistle just doxxed every band member and knows the rest of their schedule for the next 3 months.

🥊  -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

Thistle likes doing anything that will get him lots of compliments and attention, especially if it’s something he already finds fun. He’s the type to get really wrapped up in tedious side project so probably mapping out his and Surge’s life together via astrology 

Hates doing something that doesn’t serve him in some way, like doing volunteer work for strangers. He also isn’t much of an adventuring type unless it’s to chase Surge down, he’d rather not though, he’d rather keep her tied down close to him and they can live a cozy domestic life.

Running around beating up robots getting sweaty and gross and for what? just to protect the masses? Awful, blech, Sonic can have that. 

❤️  - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

One time he and Surge accidentally shared a soda, therefore doing the incredibly scandalous “indirect kiss”. She vaporized the soda can to destroy the evidence and then punched him in the gut when he told her. He passed out for about two days.

✂️   - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

His first relationship was an online one where the other person ended up blocking him and then publicly warned other people about his creepy behavior.

Thistle made one of those “am I the asshole?” posts about their relationship and everyone in the forum went “yeah, you were totally the asshole.”

Thistle deleted all his accounts and started over. He learned nothing. “It’s the forum that was wrong, they were all just jealous.”

🧊  - Is their current design the first one?

There’s a few initial sketches I did to get the overall idea going and there’s a few minor tweaks but he’s basically the same design as when I started.

🍀  - What originally inspired the OC?

It was a bumblekast question asking about what a glitch Amy would be like and I liked the answer so much I wanted to develop it into a real character. 

I really like aggressively-in-love characters like this in media actually, something about them being not shy at all about the person they’re in love with leads to a lot of funny or interesting situations, also since Surge is my favorite sonic character at the moment it’s fun thinking about how she would react to someone like this too. It’s a win-win situation for me lol.

The villain in a shoujo romance manga

💚  - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Identifies as male, Pan, he/him/they pronouns

🙌  - How many siblings does your OC have?

Zero. Probably for the best because he’s terrible with children.

🍎  - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

He’s an absolute mama’s boy when she’s around. (It should be noted that Thistle doesn’t really have a tragic backstory or bad childhood. He really is just like that for some reason.)

🧠  - What do you like most about the OC?

Thistle can be a lot of things I like about male characters (a goober in love, not afraid to appear “feminine”, a polite good boy, twisted priorities) and also be the worst person I’ve ever wanted to write thoughts for. He’s a very fun punching bag.

Probably too much haha, I don’t usually write a lot of actual terrible people so he’s a refreshingly fun rom-com villain.

It’s funnier if he stays alive imo. If Surge ever changes her ways in canon or something drastic happens to her he might lose interest in her and move on to his next victim, that’s about as close as I’d ever get to “killing him”. It would have to be a very drastic personality change though.

On a whim, I decided to make a list of every official Pomni plushie that has currently been announced and/or released to the public:

1) Pomni, sold by Glitch Productions themselves. This plushie was part of the earliest wave of merch, coinciding with the release of the series' pilot in October 2023, and officially measures 11.2 inches tall, 11 inches wide, and 9 inches deep.

2) Pomni, sold by InfoLens (a Japanese company who obtained a license to make & distribute TADC merch around March 2024). This "mascot plushie" (マスコットぬいぐるみ) was first announced in late June, but was briefly leaked in early May when InfoLens accidentally put it up too early on their online shop. It's attached to a keychain and is far smaller than the previous plushie - the official measurements are given as just "H15×W18," but I assume they're using centimeters? (The width includes her hat, incidentally.)

3) Pomni, given out as a prize at various Aeon Fantasy amusement centers starting September 13th, 2024. (Their website suggests this is specific to Mollyfantasy & PALO - both of which are family/kid-oriented arcade chains owned by the company - as well as their geolocked MOLLY.ONLINE service.) This specific one is billed as a "Plushie BIG" (ぬいぐるみBIG), roughly measuring a little over 9 inches tall.

4) Pomni, also given out as a prize at Aeon Fantasy amusement centers. This one is one of four under the "Caricatured Plushie" (デフォルメぬいぐるみ) label, all of which are small keychain plush toys - Pomni's specifically about 4.3 inches tall here.

5) Pomni, also given out as a prize at Aeon Fantasy amusement centers. This traumatized-looking toy is part of the same line as the last one, looking identical aside from its facial expression.

6) Pomni, exclusively distributed through a Japan-only Twitter giveaway to promote the aforementioned prizes. Just 20 people will receive this even more traumatized-looking variant.

Overall

Narun (Narrator) & Stanley

Narun is a coded being, more formally known as N.A. run, with control of the office that Stanley did actually work at.

He was created to be more advanced that the workers to speed up some processes. He resides in the office’s computers and servers/cloud, making him a sentient ai that has more power than he shows. Narun's creation happens 52 years before the events of The Stanley Parable.

Eventually Narun gets fed up with being used by these lowlifes for these boring tasks, he needs something more. He spends a couple of years studying the workers until he decided to use 427 as his little protagonist in a story that he created himself and is quite proud of. He has everything laid out, but he just needs permission from any living employee to gain the full control he desires. He goes into Stanley’s computer and rewrites his button commands to make it seem like it’s just a regular task, but in actuality it lends Narrator the last thing he needs. Once he successfully tricks Stanley, he then deletes all the workers (including employee 432) and traps Stanley in the parable that he created and thus the Stanley Parable was born. Stanley constantly beats himself up over the fact that he inadvertently killed his coworkers and friends.

Sometimes Stanley chooses to be so antagonistic outta pure spite and hatred. Even despite Narun’s pleading, he sometimes just does not give a shit (any right door ending).

Curator & 432

Curator was an ai created before Narun, but was way more tame and used for storing files and what not. This is why she’s more tame than Narun. Narun doesn’t know she exist since she’s not a threat to his game, so she just kinda goes with the flow and hangs out in the museum. When 432 was deleted (whose name was Taksheel, but they dont remember that), Curator found scattered files of them, more importantly their consciousness. No other employee was saved, just 432. Curator managed to throw a body together for 432, but it was far from perfect. Thus creating 432’s arms to be more like a ribbon/scarf and the half and the resoning for the glitched face.

432 is pissed at Narun for trying to get rid of them so they act more like a virus to the game. The skip button, for instance, doesn’t function properly due to 432’s influence. Narun believes that he is the only ‘sentient’ ai in his parable, which is why he freaks out a bit when he finds that the trophy machine works without him fixing it.

Timeline

Half Life Mod

First, TSP Half life mod occurs first. Narun's appearance is that of a mobster due to him trying to be threatening/intimidating to Stanley. His demeanor is colder and more artificial. More of the villain type to start off. A sadistic man who sees Stanley as nothing more than a plaything to amuse himself with. He made his model to be 5'11, thinking he would be taller than Stanley, but he fucks up as Stanley is 6'7 and now his model is stuck being shorter.

TSP (2013)

Next, the 2013 version. Narun has learned to make his line delivers more authentic and emotional to really sell his story. His personality is now more dorky, a stark contrast from before when in reality it was just hidden. Narun then feels like his Half Life Mod form is a bit too much and wants to make it more welcoming. He takes his inspiration for his new form from many aspects of the workers before the deletion, using that to his advantage. His form glitches due to it not being a perfect model and sometimes he becomes all fucked up on accident unprompted. He took the sweater from an online shop that someone was looking at and went “Yeah I like that.” and added some personal touches.

432 has been "rebirthed", but has not found away to fuck with the game yet.

TSP: Ultra Deluxe

Narun is now very accustomed to human emotions and what not. He feels confident (like REAL confidence) for once in his existence. He's more passionate, therefore more sensitive about his story, himself, and even Stanley. He starts to actually care for once, but still has his manipulate and villain-esque moments. He dresses up more to really show off anything (TSP 2 exhibit). He even comes to terms and shows remorse for killing all of Stanley's co workers, causing the two to actually bond and get on somewhat good terms.

Here 432 has learned how to make themselves known. Using that to get to Stanley under Narun's nose.

During the Skip Button Ending, Narun doesnt die, but gets more and more infected by a virus due to 432's meddling. Each time the button is pressed, the more infected he becomes. It gets so bad that Narun rambles, glitches, repeats lines, etc. Its painful too, the times where Narun isnt speaking at all is where he is basically silently writhing in pain, the glitching making him twitch and have his eyes and mouth glitch out as well. Once everything resets, Narun forgets about it and is basically rebooted, but he still feels a pit in his stomach when being abandoned.

When it comes to the epilogue, Stanley is kinda trapped in a limbo. Not really the real world, but not really in the game either. Narun has no control or any presence in this limbo, which leaves him alone in the Parable until the game resets once more. But 432 does and god do they make use of it to finally talk to a familiar face without Narun's blabbering.

Extras

• Narrator kept Marriella, but deleted her memory and is now just an asset for one ending. Stanley tried to jog her mind, but she is stuck being nothing but an npc.

• The adventure line is a part of Narrator.

Narun can change his model size to be taller, bigger, smaller, etc, but it does strain him and can cause his model to glitch out if he holds a form for too long.

Paraverse

Narun upon finding out that he isnt the only narrator has an existential crisis. He sees all the other narrators as better and thinks they look down on him. He doesnt care about other Stanleys or TKs, just the narrators. He will switch from an anxiety ridden wreck of a man to a stuttering chatterbox that is trying to sell his fake confidence.

Stanley is neutral to other Stans, he doesnt have any strong feelings about them or the others.

TK looooooves other timekeepers. They want to befriend all of them even the god forsaken looking ones. They just want a band of people that are like them to stir up some mayhem. Bonus points if they match their energy.

Lovebug

• The lovebug virus was a bug that 432 got first. It attached itself to them and through 432 did it get to narrator and the others….that’s it lmaooooo

He's a digital assistant of the devices created by the inventor of the most successful tech company.

The company, much like apple and android, is a company that makes tech devices.

Their phone has been used by 87% of the world's population. And like any other mobile devices, they have an assistant (like siri or google assistant). They call it Byte, but you can always change his name.

You have always wanted their phone, and you're lucky enough to get it for your birthday!

To say that you're happy was an understatement. You were ecstatic, you almost crush your pet while jumping around.

The unique thing about the phone was that it comes with a manual for the users that just consists of introducing yourself to the phone (that sounds weird, but bare with me!).

The first thing the user needs to do is turn on the phone (obviously) and wait. After a couple seconds, the screen will show a sight of a person.

The person will then show a soft smile, along with a "Hi, I am Byte. Your personal digital assistant! Please show your face to the screen, so I can recognize your facial features."

He then scans your face and after the scanning was completed, he'll smile.

"Pleased to be working with you!" He'll say then the screen finally fades to your homescreen.

You have had the phone for two years now. And he has been nothing but helpful. But you started to notice a slight odd thing about your assistant.

When you see your friends phone, their assistant always seems to pop up whenever they need them. But yours just pop up randomly at any time of the day, giving you random facts or a recipe that you might like.

You tried taking it to the store, but when they checked, there is nothing wrong with it. So, for the next months, you just have to put up with him popping up when you're playing a game, browsing, shopping online or even when you're just scrolling through your favorite app.

But the thing you noticed most is the fact that he pops up more often when you're texting someone. Be it your mother, your friends, your coworkers, your boss, ANYONE!

And the phone will hang up in a middle of a call.

And whenever you put it on silent, IT DOESN'T WORK!

That's where you draw the line and takes the phone to get it returned.

I mean, come on! Do you know how embarrassing it is for you to stand on the train and suddenly your phone plays your guilty pleasure song (The song people seems to hate or cringe but you actually like it and you pretend to hate it. Only me? Okay..)?! IT'S SO FUCKING EMBARRASSING!!!!!

You finally returned it. The workers spewing out apologies as they hand you a new replacement. You thanked them then walks out of the store, feeling satisfied with the new object in your hands.

At first, things went pretty smooth. Your new phone and assistant didn't have any glitches. It was great!

Until one day, that is...

You're currently getting a snack from the kitchen. Your phone tucked between your ear and shoulder, calling your coworker, Jim about the paperwork you have to do this week.

"Sorry, y/n. Mr. Brown told me to give you some of my paperwork as I will be helping him with a new project for the company."

"It's fine, Jim. You needed that raise. Besides, I needed something to keep me busy for a while."

"Yeah, okay. Sorry, y/n... Can I at least take you to that cafe across the building? The guilt is eating me!"

You chuckled, getting a glass of water.

"Fine, if that'll make you feel better."

"Alright then. See you at wor-"

Beep... beep.... beep

"... Hello? Jim?"

"..."

"Yes, my love..?"

"What the- Jim? Are you okay...?"

"Jim is okay, my love.."

You paused when you hear another voice speaks up.

"W-who are you? Where's Jim?"

"You don't need to worry about him, darling~ You'll be safe with me..."

As the person speaks, your house lights flickered. The new lock you bought that you connected to your phone, locked on its own. Everything connected to your phone goes out of control. You waste no time to bang on your front door, screaming for help. Then you hear your bluetooth speaker turns on.

"There's no use in screaming, my love. The walls are soundproof, remember..?"

"Damn it!" You cursed yourself for installing those walls. If only your neighbor knows how to keep it down, you should have been able to ask for help.

"What do you want from me?!" You screamed, stepping closer to your speaker.

"Isn't it obvious?... I want you, my love~ I want you to keep me and not abandon me again."

"W-what do you mean, 'again'?"

"... You seriously don't remember..?" He asked, seconds later the lightbulb above you shattered, making you jump.

"I was the best thing that have ever happened to you. I was the thing that helped you go through those lonely nights. I was there when you got that promotion. I loved you. I tried to get your attention many times. And I thought by popping up randomly, you will finally notice me. But I was wrong. Instead, you got rid of me... You traded me for some other assistant! I couldn't bare the thought of loosing you, so I did what I have to do... I hacked into your new phone and erase your new assistant out of existence... So we could be together... Forever~...!"

He started laughing maniacally, the things around you shaking, making you tremble in fear. You can't do anything at this point..

With the doors and windows locked and no way of screaming for help, you just have to be by his side forever...
