So, there's no way in hell that Darktail is Onewhisker's and Smoke's kit.

Neither have white patches in their coat, and neither of Onewhisker's parents have white patches.

It's physically impossible for Darktail to be 50%+ white and also be Onewhisker's baby.

Palebird Rewritten Family Tree! My First Windclan Family tree rewrite! Windclan was surprisingly easy for me. Now on to the Notes:

Tallpoppy and Applefur of Shadowclan and Tawnyfur of Windclan are the kids of Rabbitear. Tallpoppy and Applefur were stolen during into the wild when windclan was being chased out by shadowclan.

Rabbitear died in the battle and Tawnyfur was nursed/raised by Ashfoot and Morningflower, Gorsekit, Tawnykit and Eaglekit were inseparable.

Wrenflight is Onewhiskers mother because I find considering the Windclan leader problems in TNP.

Firestar followed Mudclaw's gaze, there, leaned over a still light brown tabby cat, were Gorsepaw and Morningflower. He could see the apprentice, quiet and almost cowering into himself, crying onto the pelt of the still cat.

"No..." He whispered, body frozen for a moment as he recognized the pattern of the warrior that lay underneath them, the words came out broken and ragged "No- Onewhisker..."

"Spottedstar killed him" Mudclaw's voice was cold, and Firestar would almost call it uncaring if not for the barely contained anger and bitterness that lingered between the words "Gorsepaw he- He spoke out of line in her eyes, dragged Onewhisker on the middle of the camp and made an example, made her warriors circle around so none of us could intervine"

Firestar closed his eyes, turning his head away, but all he could see was the spotted leader pinning the Windclan warrior to the dirt. His friend's eyes staring straight at him in a silent plea for anyone to help him. He could picture Gorsepaw's cries as Spottedstar-

He shivered, the friendly gaze of the warrior now staring at him across gatherings, across borders, Onewhisker's ever comforting voice across clans. The moment when he and Graystripe led the Windclan warriors back to their home.

All those moons now gone, all of that time now lay in waste, because of Spottedstar.

Slowly, he left Mudclaw to continue to be tended by Barkface and walked over to the apprentice and his mother. Whatever comfort he wanted to bring was halted as he stared at the grieving apprentice, crying, green eyes fixed on the still body.

Morningflower did notice him, and she separated from her son for a moment to guide the leader away.

"Oh Firestar..." She whispered, giving the orange cat a gentle lick to his forehead just as she did when he had carried Gorsekit "How has Starclan allowed this?"

The leader did not have an answer, his gaze was still fixed on the apprentice.

Morningflower' whispered "...I don't think he'll be the same cat after this"

And that was all Firestar needed to know.
