Onew:

Jinki is the type of kisser who will always try and bring a smile to your face whenever he’s kissing you

Quite often you can feel his smile whenever he kisses you too as he can’t help but just get excited

His favourite place to kiss is against your cheek, with bonus points for Jinki if he manages to catch the corner of your mouth too

He loves the comfort of being around you and being affectionate, it makes his heart incredibly warm

Whenever you’re not smiling, Jinki will be there trying to kiss the smile back onto your face again

If he’s struggling to find the words they’ll usually be a kiss placed from him to try and express himself

One of your favourite things is how shy Jinki becomes though when he’s affectionate around others

He loves the intimacy that can often come with kisses as it manages to bring you both closer together

One thing that you often let Taemin know with a kiss is that you’re proud or that you’re impressed with him

No other kiss means as much to him as a reunion kiss though, especially when you’ve been apart for a while

The bell above the door rings, prompting you to look up from wiping down the counter. As much as the sound usually annoys you, this time you will give it a pass if only because of who’s arrived. Your eyes barely meet but he’s already turning his face away. Cute. 

It’s not too long since he first visited and then became a regular - for a very obvious reason, might you add. It flatters you, really. Even if it’s annoying that he’s so obvious that all your coworkers know. Like just now, when you also look away to keep working on the stubborn stain, and you get a subtle nudge from one of them. You roll your eyes. 

“He’s looking at you. I mean he’s pretending to look at the menu, but he’s not,” the culprit whispers your way. Not like you can’t feel eyes on you.

“I bet he’s gonna order the same thing as always. Anyway, did you figure out what you're gonna do?”

The last time the cute guy, Giuk (unless he’s giving a fake name for his orders), visited he left his number on the receipt. Then crossed it out to the point it became illegible. Then wrote his instagram handle right underneath, just to cross it out too - he just didn’t do that good of a job. Good enough that you were not able to find him due to the missing letters, though. 

And sure, maybe if you were overthinking it you could persuade yourself that he wasn’t leaving his number for you. For someone else, maybe? But then again you were the only person he kept looking at - and that’s including the friends he usually comes in with. Flattering, very flattering. You wish he cut it with the slow burn, though.

“I’m gonna scam him,” you smirk at your coworker. 

Before he can question you further, though, the customers make a move. The friend orders first and you swear he gives your victim a meaningful look before walking off to the side to wait for his drink. Then your cute guy steps up.

“Hello,” he greets as usual, fiddling the phone in his hand. As expected, he orders the same as usual. You almost want to call him out. While you’re ringing him up, he opens and closes his mouth a couple times, like he wants to say something. He never does, though, so you pretend to make a mistake to have an excuse to put his order in again and give him a chance to try one more time. He doesn’t, even if you give him a curious look. He looks away. You can’t help but think he looks disappointed.

“You know there’s this promo event going on,” you say nonchalantly, the script well-rehearsed in your head, “If you follow the cafe on instagram there’s a small sale on your order. Unless you’re already following.”

“Oh, I’m not, wait a minute.” 

It’s adorable, the way Giuk jumps at the opportunity and also keeps looking at you as if you’re gonna walk away if he takes too long - and not even acknowledging you haven’t said anything to his friend. He shows you his screen as he taps the follow button and smiles warmly when you thank him. 

“No, thank you,” he hesitates for a second, “Do you have to follow the page too since you’re working here?”

Mentally you raise an eyebrow at that. Does he want to play the same game you’re about to? If so, maybe you should put your plan on hold a little… No. He’d just drag it out anyway.

“We don’t but most of us do,” you shrug, “It’s a good way to get reminders about the news.”

He nods, again seemingly trying to find words while you put the employee discount on his order (nobody will know anyway) and he has to pay. He lingers for a bit longer when everything is done and carefully takes the receipt from you. 

Your coworker is already done with both of their orders in the meantime and readily hands them over, effectively chasing him away, before crowding you as you hide to pull out your phone.

“Explain?” he prompts before invading your personal space.

“Remember how I couldn’t find him from that scribble? I should be able to guess it now if I see that name-” Bingo. But he really needs to work on his handwriting. 

“Oh?” he’s already leaning over your shoulder to see. 

The profile is private but how many people still wear leopard print and have such pretty earrings? Here goes nothing, you think as you press the follow button and promptly hide the phone back into your pocket. You return to your tasks as if nothing happened, your nosy coworker whining behind you. Probably for the first time, it’s you nervously checking on the crushing guy. 

He’s already on his phone and then, all of a sudden, he freezes. After a beat he looks up, eyes wide and mouth agape. You send him a sheepish smile that quickly grows when you see Giuk brighten up. You feel your phone vibrate and take it out. As expected, there’s a request waiting for you too. As soon as you accept it, he sends the first message.

You really hope he’s less shy over texts or your poor heart won’t handle it.

Yonghoon: it was a lazy afternoon and you were just on your phone taking goofy pictures and sending them to Yonghoon. You don’t know how many you sent to him before he finally responded and his reply sent a chill down your spine. /is there someone in the house with you or what is that shadow to your left?/  you began to shake as you opened up your camera roll to scroll through your pictures. You stopped when you came across three pictures and behind you was a dark figure leaving the fame. Your stomach did a huge flip as your eyes widened. You froze in fear at what you saw, too afraid to turn around or even leave the house. In the next second you frantically dialed Yonghoon’s number your whole body shaking. “Yonghoon what the hell was that, why did you have to say anything? I’m freaking out Yong” while Yonghoon was trying to calm you down you gathered just enough courage to exit the house and you booked it down the street. “Yonghoon I wanna move now.”

Cya: making your way down the hallway you pass Giwook’s studio with him sitting at his desk. “Oh, I thought you were needing me down stairs?” you questioned entering his room. He turned around in his chair and took his earbuds out. “Huh?” he seemed like he had been in the zone for a few hours. You shifted your weight. “You called for me downstairs did you not?” you asked again starting to wonder if you were just hearing things. When Giwook shook his head you froze, goosebumps running up your arms and legs. “Giwook..I..you.” You were at a lost for words, your mind running. Giwook sensed something was wrong and came to your side placing his hand on your arm. “I’ve been in here the whole time working on stuff, I never called for you. Why do you ask?” Now you panicked, you swore he was downstairs. “You called for me like 5 minutes ago from downstairs so I was on my way when I saw you in your studio I thought…” you trailed off trying to make sense of what was actually going on. “I- there’s something downstairs Giwook.” both yours and his eyes got wide and Giwook took one glance over your shoulder before he ran to shut the door and propped a chair against it. He placed his finger over his mouth in a ‘shh’ gesture and grabbed your hand pulling you to the far side of the room behind the filing cabinet where you both stayed on the floor and listened for anything suspicious.

Harin: you practically plowed through the driveway stopping a mere inch from the garage door not even bothering to park in the garage. You ran up the steps and fumbled with your keys glancing behind you every one in a while. You had no idea what just happened but you wanted inside and with Harin where it was safe. Harin must’ve heard the door slam shut as he came running in from the kitchen hand towel in hand wiping the bubbles from his hands. “I swear to god I’m not making this up Harin I swear. This was real I saw it with my own eyes, it was right there I drove so fast I-” you were frantic and starting to shake as tears rolled down your cheeks. Harin slowly approached you and put his arms around you making an attempt to console you. His hand petting your hair only further proved to you that it was all real. “Slow down babe you just got home and I can’t understand a word you are saying.” You took a deep breath as he pulled you away from him to meet your face. You eyes were roaming the house as if you would see it in the window. “Harin I was driving home and all of a sudden I look in the rearview and there’s a huge light that is following me and it was getting closer and c-closer a-and I, no matter how fast I went it w-wouldn’t leave me alone I swear to god it was a ghost or something.” you were stuttering and talking fast and Harin placed his hand on your cheek so you would look at him. “Harin I swear a ghost followed me, I even took a detour and it followed me.” 

“Look honey it’s late you were probably just tired and your mind was playing tricks on you.” Harin saying leading you to the couch.  “For 6 miles my mind was playing tricks on me? No Harin it was real.” Harin comforted you while you calmed down his warmth, smell and knowing you were inside with him made you feel a bit better. “I’ll make you some tea to help you sleep.”

Kanghyun: you shot out of bed a strange noise waking you from sleep. You listened for it again and made out a scratching noise. “Kanghyun, Kanghyun wake up.” you nudged Kanghyun before getting out of bed. “Kanghyun did you let Piper in before we went to bed?” Your cat Piper was always let in the house after dark so she wouldn’t get attacked be the night creatures and was out of the elements. Usually Kanghyun would bring her into the garage after 8:30 and leave the door into the house open so she could join you guys upstairs. You slowly approached the door hoping it was Piper. Kanghyun was mumbling something when you slowly peaked out the bedroom door and into the hallway. You screamed as something ran past your feet and under the bed. “What was that?” you asked slamming the bedroom door shut. Kanghyun reached for his phone and shone the light under the bed. You both saw Piper, fur on end, eyes huge and tail all bushy. “Yeah, I let her in. She looks scared though.” you both jumped as Piper started hissing and making strange sounds. You both stared at each other until you heard a scratching noise similar to the one from before. Kanghyun shut the light off and you both listened very quietly. It seemed to be coming from the other side of the door. The sound picked up like what Piper was doing before but something was off. You felt Kanghyun move and you found his wrist in the dark and held onto it firmly. “Don’t. Stay here.” you whispered. “you’re not afraid are you?” Kanghyun replied. The longer the sound went on the more uneasy you felt. “Yes, I’m terrified and definitely think we should hide under the covers.” Piper let out another hiss and that had you jumping to the bed to throw the covers over you.

Dongmyeong: it was only a few seconds after Dongmyeong left the kitchen leaving you at the dining table and you heard a crash and sprang to your feet. Dongmyeong came running in seconds later. “What happened?” he asked coming over to you. You were wide eyed and speechless as you pointed to the vase that was currently shattered on the floor; glass, flowers and water everywhere. “I didn’t do it I was sitting over here the whole time I just heard a crash and it- it..” you automatically thought ghost first thing and it terrified you. Dongmyeong pulled you into him rubbing your back. “Everything is fine there’s nothing to freak out over. I’ll clean it up it’s okay. And before you say anything I don’t think this house in haunted but if it makes you feel better I can look for a new place to live soon okay? Don’t worry about it darling.”
