“Yiseo, what’s this?” Yuchan asked looking in shock as he looked around the room as if the person was hiding. “It’s not what it looks like,” you said as you put your T-shirt on. “What that you’ve just had sex on your brothers floor!” Youngjo said shaking between anger and hurt.

“Couch, we had sex on the couch,” Sehyoon’s voice boomed from the hallway. He walked in looking Perfectly dressed in a tight vest and shorts, which annoyed you that in that moment he still captivated your attention. “You fucking did what!” Youngjo’s voice boomed as Yuchan put his hand out to stop him passing. “I had sex with the girl I love,” he said strolling into the kitchen like it was nothing as he opened a bottle of beer. “You mean with my girlfriend,” Youngjo shouted out, his fists balling. “The one you stole from me,” Sehyoon bit back, his eyes smalling towards his friend.

“Right, we need to calm down,” Yuchan begged, as he struggled to keep Youngjo from getting to Sehyoon. You got between them helping Yuchan out, your tear stained eyes searching for contact from Youngjo. But he refused to give in, instead his cold glares was all for Sehyoon. “How could you do this to us, does our friend ship count for nothing?” Youngjo cried out. “What friendship, you mean the one where you go off with my girl and continue to listen to me tell my woes and my feelings, all while you was dating her yourself,” Sehyoon said calmly. “And I apologised and you said it was fine as you was dating someone else,” Youngjo replied a slight tear escaping. “I lied, must be catching or something,” he said walking to the couch where you just had sex. He sat down taking a swig of the beer he had opened acting as if he was unfazed by this all.

“I’d offer you one but it seems we’re already privy to sharing the same things these days,” he said taking another swig. Without Yuchan between them Youngjo charged at his friend, grabbing his vest and pushing his face into Sehyoon’s. “I’m not into kissing men get that from Donghun, but wait you’ve already done that,” he smirked.

Youngjo balled his fist, you ran towards it grabbing his hand before it could aim for Sehyoon. “Youngjo please don’t,”

You begged as he pushed your hand off him. As his fist balled again you jumped to catch it once more. But you missed, losing your footing and stumbling into the glass table next to the sofa.

All three of their faces paling as you felt the blood before the pain seared in. The glass had cut through an artery and blood was splurting everywhere making you feel faint and sick.

Yuchan ran to his phone to call for emergency assistance as Youngjo ran for towels to place over your arms. He used all his anger to tighten around the bleeding wound as you went weary. “Yiseo focus,” Sehyoon said snapping his fingers in front of your face. “I can’t stop the bleeding,” Youngjo said looking panicked at Sehyoon, both them covered in your blood. “Your belt,” Sehyoon ordered pointing, as he held onto the blooded towels.

You closed your eyes as you felt your breathing become laboured. Feeling the tightening of the belt around your raised arm. You felt nothing but could hear only voices as you lost your vision. Voices of Yuchan begging for medical assistance to hurry, along with Sehyoon and Youngjo’s mantra of your name filled the air as you lost consciousness.

You woke to your arm in heavy bandaging and searing pain when you tried to move. Donghun, Junhee and Yuchan’s worried face came into your view.

“Where am I?” you asked wearily under the drugged feelings swarming your brain. “Your in the hospital, you’ve had an operation, you had to have a surgical bypass to fix the artery you cut through,” Donghun said as he patted your ankle. “Where’s Youngjo?” you asked. Donghun and Junhee looked at each other and seemed hesitant to comment. “You wait till mum sees you she’s going to kick your ass,” Yuchan said sounding annoyed, you remembered what he had walked into and the drama that unfolded.

“I’m sorry Channie,” you said softly. “Don’t,” he grumbled getting up looking still annoyed with you. “Where you going?” you called out in a panic. “To tell mum your awake,” he replied over his shoulder.

You looked at Donghun and Junhee who looked a little hesitant to comment further. “What?” you said, your head swarming as you did. “I told you it would end in an explosion,” Junhee said raising an eyebrow. “Where is he?” you repeated. “They’ve both gone back home to there own home town,” Donghun replied. “Both of them,” you cried. “Well you couldn’t expect them to both stick around after that,” Junhee scoffed. “Are you here to make me feel better or worse,” you whined, feeling the every bit in need of a pity party. “Well you asked, don’t shoot the messenger,” Donghun replied. “Youngjo blamed himself for what happened. He also can’t be with someone who would cheat on him and Sehyoon didn’t like how he had become, because of his feelings for you…… so they’ve both left town,” Donghun said. Tears filling your eyes as you closed them to avoid them both seeing.

You had lost both of them and you knew it was true it was all your fault. You knew that you reacted a certain way around Sehyoon. Youngjo knew that too and you promised him it wasn’t the case. You gave him fake promises and then cheated when it became apparent that your emotions for Sehyoon hadn’t switched off. This was all on you.

Donghun tapped your shoulders, “you still have us,” he said smiling as you eyes opened. “Thanks,” you attempted a smile before the tears really attacked. “Wow feeling the love here,” Junhee said leaning his head against yours. “I’m sorry, it’s just hitting how badly I’ve fucked up,” you cried. “What would be a life if we didn’t have fuck ups hey, I’m still making them and don’t plan to stop,” Donghun chuckled.

It had been the last week at college, your final exam all reliant on the project you and Sehyoon had started. Now without him, you knew the chances of failing was high.

You had no partner, the work was rushed with a little help from Junhee all with a healing arm to contend with. But you wanted to try, if not for you but for Sehyoon for all the hard work and drama this project had caused.

Byeongkwan had ignored you on your return, feeling bitter that he lost his friend because of you, Minhee and Miyeon following suit. Junhee had held your hand through your college return and you was counting the days till you could leave this town yourself and return back to your parents. You knew you would fail the piece and fail the year and unable to return for your final year.

You stood trembling at the presenting stage, Junhee sat there in your view with Donghun and Yuchan for support. You closed your eyes to steady yourself feeling the dread, holding on Sehyoon’s words to help with the presentation.

When you opened them Sehyoon was standing there. His beaming smile that charged at you and attacked your heart. You held onto the desk to steady yourself, as he smirked leaning towards you. “You need to get those under control,” he whispered with a wink before taking the sheet from you, as he took over the presentation.

Both using your words with Confidence, you presented your final piece as well as you could. Everyone clapping in what you was sure was a positive response. However, at the back of the auditorium, your attention was taken by someone familiar.

Your eyes blinked as you took the sight of Youngjo in. His trademark smile as he clapped winking at you before turning to leave.

You bowed before you dashed in his pursuit. But when you reached outside he was no where to be found. You breathed in hard, feeling pathetic for wanting to talk to him as you relented and turned to walk back in. But your heart stopped when it saw Youngjo leaning against the door. He smiled as your eyes connected as he walked towards you.

“You came, you both came,” you cried as tears started escaping. “Of course I came, it’s a big day today and hopefully the beginning of the next part of your life.” He said his hands stroking your hair. “I’ll still have another year, if I pass,” you said. “You and Sehyoon won’t fail,” he smiled.

“Your both made of magic that no one can compare with, that’s how your pass,” he said softly, you felt the pain in his words. “I’m so sorry,” you cried sobbing. “Shhh,” he said, pulling you in, the warmth of his arms washing over you. “I’m sorry I couldn’t love you like you deserved,” you cried into him. “It’s ok, you was never really mine. I should have known better to go there,” he said stroking your hair. “But I don’t regret it, because we had fun right?” He asked into your sobs as you nodded into his chest. “I loved every minute, just not how it ended, and certainly not this. I replay it over and over in my head, this is on me,” he said stroking the cast around your arm. “It was an accident,” you said trying to reassure him. “Anyway just promise me one thing,”. He asked. “What’s that?” you said raising your head. “Sehyoon loves you so much and I know deep down your crazy about him. Give him a chance, a real one none of this stubborn ass games.” He asked. “How, he’s leaving?” you replied. “Next year your have your final year together so no he’s not leaving,” he said. “If we pass,” you whispered as he placed his finger on your lips. “You will,” he whispered still being your biggest supporter after everything.

A car beeped startling him. “Hurry up will you,” Hwanwoong shouted out the car window. “I better go,” he said pulling you in for one last hug as he kissed your head several times, savouring every kiss knowing it’s the last.

“Will I ever see you again?” you said tears clouding your view. “I’m Kim Youngjo, your very own Ravn, I’m sure your see me around,” he smirked before pulling you close, letting his lips press yours. The warmth of his tongue slipping in as you kissed one final last time.

Tears falling on both of you as he stepped back smiling before walking away. Your heart ached as you sobbed as he got in the car, taking one last look your way before getting in and driving off. Junhee’s warm arms pulled you in as your heart broke from every emotion you had held on to. “It’s ok, I got you,” he said cradling you as you sobbed hard.

You was helping Yuchan pack some of his stuff. “You’re only going for a couple months,” you scoffed at the items cluttering up for your summer break back home. “Hey I need every single item,” he pouted before You heard a crashing sound come from Sehyoon’s room.

You walked down the corridor knocking on the door. “Everything ok in there?” you called out. “Sehni,” you said panicking opening the door to find Sehyoon on the floor by his bed, looking shocked with broken Lego on the floor. You looked at the model that you previously broke and couldn’t help but laugh.

“It’s not funny Yiseo,” he cursed which made you laugh harder. “It is, it really is. I told you months back that it really did fall when I shut this door and you didn’t listen, now it’s happened to you,” you chuckled. “You really are annoying,” he cursed earning a heavier chuckle. “Good because your an asshole,” you said helping him pick the Lego pieces up.

You noticed the pictures around the room, some of them had been hidden for months. “Did you do all these?” you said standing to walk closer to them. “Yes I do them when I’m feeling low, sad or any emotion to think of it,” he replied. “What about that one?” you said walking towards the one right at the back. The one you was seconds from seeing when you had that argument. “That’s my most prized painting,” he said. “Can i look?” you asked, him humming as he nodded. As you pulled gently on the sheet covering it, it unearthed the most beautiful painting as you gasped when you recognised the woman in it.

“Wow is that?” you asked pausing. “Yes Yiseo that’s you,” he confirmed, your hands trailing down the beautiful portrait that he did of you in a field of sunflowers.

“Why the sunflowers?” you asked remembering he once brought you them saying they gave positive energy. “Because you are my positive energy in a challenging field,” he replied. “You can be the damn sweetest sometimes,” you smiled as you leaned into him, he pulled his arms around your waist pressing kisses to your forehead.

“Omg you must think I’m so vain not recognising you,” you said with your hands stroking his arms.

Sehyoon Pushed your hands away. “No because it was fun wooing you with the confident version of me.” He said pulling you into another passionate kiss.

“But Yuchan?” You questioned remembering him not realising you was brothers. “Well I’m not the only one that’s changed the way we looked then to now,” he scoffed as you smiled, admiring his equalling glow up.

“Will you put your boyfriend down and come help,” you heard your brother call down the hallway. You rolled your eyes smirking at Sehyoon as you pictured the sensitive blushing quiet teen he was. “Come on sunflower boi,” you said swatting his ass, before making him chase you towards your struggling brother.
