i’m honestly feeling completely empty, i’m super sad. x1 has been one of my all time favorite groups out there. i love them in a way i don’t love many kpop groups.

but the thing is... the people who are experiencing the worst pains aren’t me, they are...

kim yohan, who fought his ass off during the whole series, even though he had a trainee period of only three months. he really deserved that first place, and he took it. and now, it’s being taken away from him.

kim wooseok, who was a center in all three of the first evaluations. a boy who gave us many laughs but also continuously performed amazingly through every stage.

han seungwoo, who was a fatherly figure and an inspiration to many of the trainees on the series. a man who was originally a rapper but came in and not only danced with amazing passion, but also was one of the greatest singers in produce history.

song hyeongjun, who went from crying because he was placed in X rank in the beginning to being a wonderful leader and inspiration to them, to placing fourth in the final episode. our cute crybaby who had such charisma on stage, and could pull of a big variety of concepts.

cho seungyoun, who managed to pull of the main vocal position, the visual position, the 2nd rapper position, and the leader position. he showcased his variety of talents, yet always stayed humble and kept his feet on the ground. he’s one of the funniest kpop idols i know, and he really knew how to lighten up any given situation.

son dongpyo, our x1-ma center. the boy who, no matter how much negative criticism he got from the coaches or how much hate he received from “fans”, fought through it all and showed off a perfect performance every time. he could pull off any concept, and he had one of the clearest live singing voices in the whole season.

lee hangyul, the boy who was constantly criticized for his singing, but who shone when he came into the spotlight. all eyes were drawn to him when he was dancing, and his constant gags brought smiles to everyone’s lips.

nam dohyon, our maknae. the young boy who traveled through produce as a confident rapper, who owned the main rapper spots as if there was no doubt about it. the boy who had a whole nation of older women calling him their “oppaji”.

cha junho, the sweet, shy, boy with the amazing voice. who constantly delivered and showed off his skills through every evaluation, and even though he was nitpicked, he listened well to feedback and continued to grow into the strong man he is today.

kang minhee, our tall boyyo. the boy who finally, no sooner than in the concept evaluation, wanted to go for the main vocal position - and nailed it. we knew that he could sing, but i think it was a surprise to many that he was that good, and that made us all fall in love with him.

lee eunsang, the x member, the boy with the most votes combined. a boy who was pushed around between positions and always had very very few lines. yet, he fixed every one of those lines perfectly. not only did he show off wonderful skills, but also a sweet personality and nothing but kindness to others.

they must all be wrecks. imagine fighting your ass off for several months, to finally earn that seat and a place in the final lineup, yet having it taken away from you. imagine knowing that these are the ten people you are going to spend the next five years with; the people you’re going to create extremely strong bonds with; the people you’re going to love like your own brothers, but then have it taken away from you. imagine having one of the saddest disbandments in kpop history. that must really suck, in a deeper way than it sucks for us to loose them.

sure, wooseok and seungwoo will go back to their groups, and minhee and hyeongjun will probably debut with the other starship boys, and eunsang will join the other bnm boys. junho will probably join the woolim boys, and hangyul and dohyon might debut together.

but what about seungyoun? is he just going back to hide in yuehua’s basement again forever as a “solo artist”?

what about yohan? the 3 month trainee who fits so so well in a group like x1. is he just going to be a solo artist aswell?

and what about dongpyo? sure, hwan and junhyuk and him are from the same company, but i honestly don’t see how they could make it into a group together under dsp media.

the best thing we all can do right now is support all 11 of the boys, no matter what happens to them. and always help each other, because remember that even if the group we stan isn’t together anymore, we’ve still got each other. we still are oneits. take care of each other and the boys. ❤️

Summary: Jaein makes a nice meal for her boys and she realizes just how much she loves her  new family. 

A/N: It just snowed like crazy for the last two days, so we’ve had snow days, meaning I was able to lay in bed and game and write more!

Jaein set the last of the bowls of soup down on the table just as the boys entered the dorm. 

“Noona, they’re here,” Hyeongjun announced from the kitchen where he was getting the utensils.

“I see that Junnie,” Jaein chuckled. She smiled at the looks at confusion she received from each of the hyung line as they entered.

“Uh, Jaein-ah… what’s up?” Seungwoo asked as he walked over to the table.

“We helped Noona make a Dominican soup today,” Dongpyo stated as he brought over some napkins.

“Yeah. She says that it’s perfect for warming you up on cold days like today,” Minhee stated as he came from his room, with the rest of the younger kids.

“Though, I had to kick Dohyon out, since he kept eating everything,” Jaein stated as she pinched the maknae’s cheeks. 

The maknae rubbed his cheeks and grumbled, causing the others to laugh.

“So what kind of soup is this?” Wooseok asked as he sat down, the others soon following suit, though some sat at the coffee table, seeing as their dinner table wasn’t large enough to fit all twelve of them.

“It’s called sancocho,” Jaein answered.

“It has pork, chicken, onions, and green squash. And you can eat it with rice, whether on the side or you can pour it in too. Right, Noona?” Eusang asked, looking at her for confirmation.

“Yep, that’s exactly right,” Jaein ruffled his hair.

“Oh, wow,” Jaein looked up and saw Yohan taking another spoonful of the soup, “This is really good!”

“I’m glad you like it,” Jaein beamed. She was slightly nervous of how they would take the soup, but released a sigh once she saw that everyone liked it.

“So, you used to eat this back in DR?” Seungyoun asked. 

“Yeah, we eat it even on the hottest days, don’t ask why,” Jaein held up her hand at the questioning look from Junho, “And so, when I lived with B.A.P, I used to make this for them on the coldest days.”

“”Well, please make more of this,” Dohyon said, with a mouth full of chicken.

“There’s more in the pot after you finish that,” Jaein giggled. The maknae smiled, eyes disappearing.

“Oh, and make sure to give thanks to Dongpyo and Hyeongjun. They helped me make the soup,” Jaein side hugged the latter, who sat next to her. 

“Yeah, I helped with the cutting of the squash.”

“He almost lost three of his fingers in the process,” Jaein reached for Hyeongjun’s hand and held it up for the rest to see. Three Frozen bandaids were on his fingers. He cringed at them remembering how Dohyon and Dongpyo laughed at the little Olafs.

“I like the bandaids,” Hangyul smiled at Hyeogjun.

“Of course you do,” Wooseok rolled his eyes, everyone laughing.

“We helped too, ya know?” Minhee pouted.

“Actually, only Hyeongjun and Dongpyo helped, the others got bored and went to do their own thing,” Jaein shrugged, eating some of the pork.

“Hey, we helped at first, but… yeah you’re right we got bored,” the fight leaving Minhee.

“Well, it’s really good. Thank you,” their leader said smiling his signature smile. 

“Yeah, it’s really good! I could definitely go for more,” Yohan laughed. A growl was heard from the end of the table.

“Don’t worry Dohyonnie, I made enough for everyone to have seconds, and even thirds for you,” Jaein chuckled, not even looking up.

“At this rate, he’ll eat this place dry,” Seungyoun laughed, hugging the maknae.

“As if he hasn’t already done that before,” Wooseok simply stated.

“He’s a growing boy. Leave him be,” Jaein protested. 

“Noona, are we gonna have the cookies later tonight?” Junho asked looking up at her with a small smile. 

Jaein returned the smile and nodded.

“Wait, you made cookies too?” Hangyul asked.

“Yeah, the dorm was already clean, so I may have overcooked to keep me occupied,” Jaein stated sheepishly, squinting up at the crack in the corner of the ceiling, making everyone laugh.

“Geez, you’re the best when you’re bored,” Yohan clapped his hands.

“Uh, yeah. Sure…. I’m gonna be honest, I’m not sure if that was a compliment or not,” Jaein slowly nodded her head, “But, thanks?”

“Do meals like this make you think of home?” Eusang asked, looking over at Jaein.

“Yes. But so do small and weird things,” Jaein shrugged.

“Like what?” Hyeongjun asked.

“Hmm, well that cute cafe over at the corner of the street. They sell a mixture of things, from Korean pastries to western pastries,” Jaein smiled, “Back in DR, my aunt owned a little cafe that also sold similar things. I used to spend hours in there doing homework, talking to the regulars, or just helping out.”

“Do you miss it?” Minhee asked turning to her, seeing a bitter smile.

“Yeah, but who doesn’t miss home, ya know?”

Everyone quieted down after that statement. Jaein felt bad for bringing down the mood. She knows that everyone else must miss their homes too, especially the younger ones.

“Of course we all miss our homes. But we have a new family now.”

Everyone turned to the maknae, the one who never voiced these types of emotions. Jaein felt a smile spread across her lips.

“I’m gonna cry!” Seungyoun shouted as he launched himself at the boy.

“Hyung! No-” Dohyon was tackled to the ground with the older on top of him.

“Yah! You’ll kill him!” Seungwoo went to grab Seungyoun and pull him off. Within seconds said boy was off the younger and sitting next him disoriented.

“I hate how strong you are. You  don’t even look like you should be that strong!” The second oldest pouted.

“Well, Hyung is known for playing everyone,” Dongpyo stated, laughing. 

“What do you mean?” Seungwoo looked offended.

“You’re supposedly not a rapper,” Jaein stated.

“But you are,” Wooseok added.

“You’re supposedly quiet and normal,” Jaein continued.

“But you’re not,” Wooseok stated, as he finished his bowl.

“I feel so attacked right now,” Seungwoo crossed his arms like a big child. 

“Oh, calm down,” Minhee sassed.

“Yeah, we love you, and thanks to Alice, Oneits know what to expect from you as time goes on,” Jaein laughed. She watched as a smile spread on the leader’s face at the mention of Victon’s fandom. Then a softer smile appeared. 

“You’re right, Dohyon,” the eldest turned to the youngest, “We really are a family.”

“So sappy!” Yohan squirmed. 

Jaein laughed alongside everyone else. She really did miss home, but like the youngest said, this was her new family, and wow, did she love them.

X1 “Beautiful Existence”

I hope people stop associating the name X1 is equal to trauma or anything of the same kind. It is not X1 that hurt the members, it is not X1 who shattered their dreams, it is not X1 who turned their back. It is the circumstances. The bad events that unexpectedly arised.

I don't want people especially my fellow OneIt to have that mind that whenever the boys see traces of X1, the first thing that come out of their mind is that they’re traumatized by it. I know it depends on how each of us interpret it but X1 is their home. A place where they felt most love and appreciated. For majority of them it is their first love and first home. It was a  dream that came true, even it was too short we know what kind of person our boys are, they’re the purest soul. They will treasure and cherish the time spent being in X1 for the rest of their lives. They met the best people in X1. They shared beautiful memories with X1. I know Oneit feel the same thing, that X1 is our safe haven.  

I think I can relate a little to this, a different story but the same feeling. It was just last year when I applied for a different job description with the same company. I was hired and became a part of a new team. I love my previous team, I've been with them for the past 3 years. They are the very first individuals I became close with. It is the first job I landed after graduating from the University. My team helped me a lot and I couldn't even think of surviving that job if it's not because of them. I love my manager, she was very passionate, helpful, caring and stern when it comes to teaching me the things I am lacking. I grew with that team for the past 3 years and had the best time of my life too.

However, just like everyone else you get burned out with that same routine. One day, I woke up and I realized that I don't want this kind of routine anymore and I don't want to feel suffocated with this job I am doing. That time I applied for a different role and I have to leave my own team to be part of another.

With my new team, I am happy and the burden of the previous job transcend with a new feeling. It was confusing at first but I kinda get the hold of it because my new team and manager helped me a lot. My new role is much easier and I don't feel anxious going to work knowing that I am more confident now.

Whenever my new manager and I have our coaching session he would asked me what I feel now. I always tell him that I am happy, but at the back of my mind I have this feeling of longingness from my previous team. I loved them so much but the pressure from that job is taking it's toll on me emotionally. It is not the people that traumatized me but it is the circumstances. Whenever I think of my previous team, I am only reminded of our good times together, they are such loving and beautiful people. I would want to be in the same team as them again but maybe in a different circumstances.

Sorry for the sudden rant/story telling, I just need to let it out or all this bottled emotions will burst. I hope people stop saying that X1 is better off disbanded and the members are much appreciated in their own different groups now compare when they are still in X1. My heart swell whenever I read something like that, it’s as if being in X1 is a curse and that it only brought them misfortune.

For me, X1 is a blessing. They are my reason.

I believe that X1 and Oneit will be reunited.

It takes a leap of faith. Let’s trust X1.

so if you've been paying any sort of attention to my blog in the last couple of days, you would know that i’ve been getting asks from someone who goes by the name of “shoes anon.” she’s shaken my whole world and i’ve had a lot of very confused people ask me who shoes anon is and what they’ve said etc etc so this is a masterpost of almost all the asks i’ve gotten from her since the first night of harry at msg. if you want to look at all the asks, here’s my tag for it. 

NIGHT ONE

it started with these asks when i was already overwhelmed bc i’d been wanting to go to the msg shows and it was emotional night:

Should you revive your old term insurance policy or buy a new one?

The world we live in has changed completely over the past two years. The pandemic, and the millions of deaths it has caused, has made us realise how uncertain life is.

And as people worldwide keep succumbing to the deadly COVID-19 disease, the perspective around life insurance, too, has changed. It is now necessary for everyone to ensure that no matter what happens tomorrow, their future, and that of their family, is secure.

Policy lapses and renewals

When it comes to securing your family’s future, life insurance is key. You may have a policy in place, but it’s quite possible you miss a premium payment for some reason or the other and the policy lapses. The good news is that you have the option of reviving the policy. Even so, it’s important to understand what works better for you — reviving your lapsed policy or buying a new one altogether. Let’s understand this in detail.

When does a policy lapse

Benefits of the term insurance plan are available to nominees of the policyholder as long as the premiums are paid on time and the policy remains active. If, for some reason, a policyholder fails to pay the premium before the due date, he or she can do so within 15–30 days’ grace period. In case the premium is not paid even during the grace period, the policy lapses.

How to revive a policy

The lapsed policy can be revived within five years of the last date of its first unpaid premium. To revive a lapsed policy, one needs to pay the accumulated unpaid premiums along with interest and taxes. Depending on the policy terms and conditions, the policyholder may also have to pay a penalty and revival charges. If more than six months have passed since the policy lapsed, the policyholder may also need to undergo medical tests. Under certain special schemes, they can get a discount on these charges.

Reviving a lapsed policy vs buying a new one

It’s possible that a policyholder may have been unable to pay the insurance premium for some reason or may have even forgotten to do so, causing the policy to lapse. At a later point of time, he or she may again feel the need to possess life cover. In such a situation, the policyholder has two options — reviving the old term insurance policy or buying a new one. This dilemma is confronted by many and there is no single solution. The choice varies from case to case.

Because reviving the lapsed policy attracts additional costs apart from the unpaid premium, these must be taken into account while making a choice. On the other hand, buying a new policy would mean a higher premium because you bought your lapsed policy when you were younger and with years having passed, the new premium would most likely be higher. There is, however, a possibility of getting good cover at an affordable price with technology making insurance policies cheaper, especially when you buy online. So one must compare insurance plans offered different insurers to get the best deal.

Having taken all these factors into account, one would realise that sometimes it makes more sense to renew your lapsed policy and at others, it is better to buy a new one.

In cases where the old policy was bought a long time ago and lapsed a short while back, it often makes more sense to revive the policy since the difference in premium between the lapsed policy and a new one would be too wide. In some cases, insurers offer to waive interest and penalty charges to revive a policy. This is a good opportunity to revive the old policy and it makes financial sense.

If the old policy was bought recently and not many premiums were paid, it may make more sense to opt for a new one as the cost of reviving it may outweigh the benefits of staying with it. Better options at comparable premiums may be available from other insurers.

Enhancing coverage with a new policy

If a policyholder is not satisfied with the coverage offered by the lapsed policy, which could be due to an inadequate sum assured or absence of riders, he or she may consider buying a new one. It would make more sense to enhance the coverage to suit your evolved needs.

Most insurance companies keep coming up with new features to cater to the consumer-centric insurance market. If, at the time of buying the policy, you could not opt for a useful feature that is available now, you may opt for a new policy. For instance, some policies now come with an exit option where if you want to discontinue your policy, you would be paid back all the premiums that you have paid until then for the base protection. Some policies also come with a benefit wherein, if the policyholder dies, a life cover will start in his/her spouse’s name which will be half the life cover of the policyholder and the nominee will receive the sum assured. Such factors need to be taken into account when you decide whether to revive a lapsed policy or purchase a new one.

In conclusion, the choice between reviving an old policy and buying a new one will vary on a case-to-case basis. The best option is always to ensure that your policy remains active and the premiums are paid on time. If, for some reason, your policy lapses, get yourself covered as soon as possible irrespective of whether you choose to revive your old policy or decide to opt for a new one.​

oh it didn't sound argumentative at all! there's rumors of two new big hit girl groups debuting sometime soon which is gonna be fun considering we already know big hit just wanted sakura because of the hype around her lmfao i love big hit groups but i don't trust that company one bit. they're becoming the disney of kpop and trying to monopolize on everything. ALSO i don't know why source music and big hit wanted to co manage a girl group after the glam situation ??? it doesn't add up to me lol

i've seen some rumours as well, but one of them is always about the female version of i-land which like.... i've scoured every news article about it & none of them actually link it to bighit?? and the only similarity is the fact you vote through an app ( see below ) so idk how much i actually believe any of them. i know at the end of i-land it said they were auditioning girls, but like... the timeframe between that & whenever girls planet 999 starts airing seems pretty tight?? especially considering mnet announced girls planet 999 in january. i know enhypen spent some time after i-land training as well, but you can't deny this feels rushed & is just more ammo in the 'bighit don't care about women' agenda if girls planet 999 is affiliated with them. but also glam are entirely why i don't think he trusts women anymore, bc like... with the exception of gfriend, every subsidiary that they've acquired only has male artists ( obvs pledis has svt & nu'est and koz has zico, dvwn & penomeco ) and the two groups they've since debuted have also been boy groups. just say u hate women & go??

but yeah i've talked at length ( not so much here, but on my old blog ) about how bighit are clearly monopolising the industry but no one cares because they only acquire """smaller""" companies. except... you know... seventeen are arguably bts' biggest competition ( because they can't exactly acquire sm ent so seventeen are the next biggest after nct ). i know the fair trade commission has to approve any & all mergers and acquisitions, but we live in a world where bribes are exchanged & people in power get what they want whether it's lawful or not. as long as they keep targeting smaller companies, then i think they'll keep getting approved, until there aren't really any other options left?? idk the whole thing is shady & adds into why i don't trust them with minors.

i get that they're trying to recreate the same rags to riches origin story that bts had with txt & enhypen, but it's just neglectful?? to house them, especially when some members are still children, without basic furniture?? whenever i see photos of txt eating off the floor in their first dorm because bighit didn't give them a table, it makes me so mad?? i saw clips of enhypen's dorm tour and people were gassing up the fact that bighit gave them a flatscreen TV, but once again, no furniture to go with it?? they were all sat on the floor watching it because bighit couldn't provide them with a sofa because...? reasons i guess? much the same as putting all of enhypen in one bedroom. i appreciate that bts were all crammed into one room, but bighit make SO MUCH MONEY now that stuffing all 7 of enhypen into one room is just irresponsible?? no one will buy a rags to riches story from them, or txt, because they come from bighit and everyone is aware of how much money they make, so like... why try? why bother? you can tell me it's normal for groups to be stuffed together like that, but let's examine groups from companies that have similar kinds of income;

exo - i'm not sure about when there were 12, but i know there were 5 rooms between 10 of them after kris & luhan left

no one is saying they have to live in a palace, but cramming them all into one room when they make the kind of money they do is lazy?? i live with 4 other people currently and we all have our our room & we make our landlord a LOT less money than bighit makes from their various groups. i just really can't stand bighit or bang sihyuk or the decisions he / they make. i'm not a oneit by any means but like.... anyone with sense can tell it's shady as hell that bighit said x1 were only famous because of pdx101 UNLIKE txt who earned their fame through hard work ( that is almost a direct quote ) just because txt & x1 were nominated for the same award, and then months later come out with i-land... a survival show... god i just really hate bighit

2019.

2019 was a year of firsts and lasts.

Looking back, I realized it is one of those years wherein I got to experience A LOT of things.

During the first few months of 2019, I was on my last stretch of my thesis. I was taking up Design 10 at that time. I swear, taking individual thesis is HARD. Maybe some of you prefer to work on their thesis alone to prevent conflicts between members, or to avoid having to argue with a member regarding ideas, or if ever some are not helping in the group. Well actually, I prefer that too, sometimes. But as an Architecture student, individual thesis is draining ㅡ physically, emotionally and financially (lol, ngl).

I cannot forget the day of our final defense. It was the most nerve-wracking experience for me because I have been always worrying about it because I am scared of speaking in front of others, but things happen …. and thesis, defended!

To be very honest, there were times wherein I want to give up, but I’m thankful for my friends. We kept on cheering and motivating each other that WE CAN finish this. I cannot forget those times wherein we were staying in our house, doing our thesis (which was actually during holy week) and suddenly, one of us were crying! Like, out of nowhere, she was crying, and we saw it and of course, we knew why, and we all started breaking down too, as well. How I miss those times...

We had our final defense on April 27 which was a Saturday and on the following day, April 28, I planned to meet my Inspirit friends to celebrate my defense and also to watch Avengers: Endgame. Luckily, a Sunggyu cup sleeve event is being held in Zoo Café at SM Megamall which is actually organized by one of our friends. So, we went there before and after watching Avengers. It was my first time attending a cup sleeve event here in the Philippines. I was actually wishing for more cup sleeve events, but little did I know that, that was the start… hahahahaha!

Then, months after, came our graduation day! I can say, it is the highlight of everyone’s college life. You walk up the stage, shake hands with your institute dean, and then receive your diploma. It was 5-years’ worth of tears, laughter ㅡ it was a roller-coaster of emotions.

Those past 5 years spent in college made me who I am today. I have learned how to be independent. I was staying in a dormitory since my first year of college until my last year. I learned how to budget my allowance well. Also, balancing my time between acads and fangirling. Hahaha!

5 years is indeed a long time, but I am happy to have met such amazing people throughout my entire stay. I will surely miss each and everyone of them, but I know, and I believe, that we will all be successful in our chosen field.

Moving on, I started looking for job weeks after graduation while, some of my friends went back to their provinces to have a vacation first. In my case, I only had around 2-3 weeks of rest? And I used that time to catch up with One Piece and all the other series I had to postpone watching because of my thesis. 

I swear, the waiting period after sending a resume to a company can make you go nuts. I mean, that is where your patience will be tested. I went to few interviews before I got in and started working around third week of August.

Before the end of the third quarter, I went to #UPALLNIGHTinManila. It was my first concert for this year, 2019. We were upgraded to Floor from Balcony Center. That night ended with a hi-touch event! We got to high five all the members and it was indeed a memorable night for me.

My second cup sleeve event for the year but, my first cup sleeve event for Day6! I actually thought I wouldn’t be able to attend this event because, Jae and my brother actually have the same birthday. So, I thought I’m spending the 15th of September at home but guess what? I made it to the event.

I literally spent that weekend celebrating birthdays. My brother’s birthday is actually on a Sunday, but we celebrated it the night before and after that, I went straight to my friend’s house to also celebrate hers. Good thing my friend’s house is actually just around Quezon City, so I was actually close to the venue.

Indeed, I had fun celebrating Jae’s birthday with my co-mydays! I wasn’t even expecting to be called in the raffle, but I went home with a Remember Us album! Hahaha! There were lots of freebies given on that day. We even met a new friend (finally, a sungjin stan haha), it was nice meeting new mutuals!

On to the last quarter of the year!

My first X1 cup sleeve event, but my third one for this year! I went to this event with Siege and my cousin, Ate Anne. The venue was actually crowded! Well, it was a small one, but there were lots of Oneits gathering inside so, it was jampacked. But it was a fun day! I met and made new friends in that event. But to our surprise, most of the attendees were still in senior high and college hahaha! I feel so old (lol).

Moving on, our squad planned a staycation on the last weekend of October. We rented out an Airbnb near SM North. We were lucky enough to find a beautiful one! It was like a hotel to be honest! Everything we can find inside is free! Even the coffee is from Starbucks and there is a French press available in the room. But the best part here was the large smart TV! We were playing MVs, reality shows non-stop!  

It was a tiring, but fun weekend spent with these people!

We were sleep deprived because of the intense round of Jenga! We actually stayed up till morning because of the game hahaha! The game itself was so intense but we were more focused because our biases are on the line.

Actually, we have planned this staycation way before an as far as I can remember, the only cup sleeve event we were supposed to attend was Yunseong’s, but I don’t know, this happened....

I thought I wouldn't be able to attend Seunghyub’s cup sleeve event because I have prior schedule at that time and I thought it already ended but as we were walking in the mall, we came across a café and I saw the TV was playing N.Flying music videos so I wondered why then I realized that the event is being held there!

On our last day of stay, we went out to attend Yunseong’s cup sleeve event happening on Flamingo Bloom at SM North. It was our first Woollimz cup sleeve event! Actually, this was the only event we were supposed to attend during our staycation, but we met a friend in the event and told us that there’s also an event happening at Lost Bread, still in SM North. It was an event for Eunsang and Wooseok. So, we went there after lunch then went back to Yunseong’s event.

An addition to my list of firsts this year, I attended a christening for the first time! It was Lyle’s christening. I actually went as a proxy to my cousin, Ate Anne, which was not around the country at the time. Ate JL was the first one in our circle of friends to have a baby and we were happy that we were invited. It was also our first time that our group meet in Cavite hahaha!

The four of us, together with Ate Dee, booked a place to stay for 3 days and 2 nights because we are actually going to have a reunion with our friend from Australia, Ate Nica! We spent the Friday night catching up while strolling around Araneta. On the following day, was DAY6’s concert.

I can say, this is one of the highlights of my 2019? My second concert for this year, and my second time seeing DAY6! I don’t know, but what I felt from that night seems surreal. It felt like I have become more closer to DAY6 ㅡ a step closer than before. It’s like my relationship with DAY6 grows deeper and deeper each year.

As expected in a Day6 concert, it always exceeds your expectation! It became an unforgettable night especially to PH MyDays because JAE CRIED.

To conclude, this year was indeed a year of firsts and lasts. 2019 taught me lot of things. I am thankful to everyone I have met throughout the year. I will surely cherish all those moments spent with the people close to me. I can't wait to see were 2020 takes me!

Dear OneIt,

I am writing this if in case we fail to bring back our boys. I just want to express how grateful I am to each and every OneIt who stood with our boys, the ones who stayed from the very beginning until this moment. We've worked hard my lovely fam. We did. It's almost been 4 months, and yet we still bear that excruciating pain in our chest whenever we think of 6th January. There were days that we felt all fired up and ready to fight and there were days that we just felt like nothing is coming out from all of this. We have experienced a lot, heartbreak after heartbreak. Each of us has our own fair share of ups and lows in the fandom. Our fight is not easy, it was mentally and emotionally draining.

My One it family, please don't be sorry, for we all did amazing. When I decided to take the risk, I didn't know it would be this hard. I was so afraid of the uncertainties and the unknown. Everyday I question our circumstances, Why us? Looking at some idol groups being happy with their fans while achieving milestones with them  I couldn't stop myself feeling jealous and insecure, my heart swell everytime, we should be spending happy times with X1 too. It's so unfair.

But who would have thought that we are still here after all the pain it had costs us. Many nonOneits question our love for the boys, they throw hate on us without knowing our true intentions. They don't know our story and they refused to listen. They tell us we're delusional and we're too greedy and selfish but they don't know the bigger story. It pains me when One Its are being attack. We don't deserve the hate, X1 don't deserved this fate.

The brave ones, the strongest family I ever known, One it. Thank you for loving our boys, you guys are the most genuine and most unconditional people I know. For a rookie group who spent short time promoting, it's amazing and still keeps me in awe how big our love for X1 is.

key to that technique is you eitherupsize with fluorocarbons so you want todo maybe a six pound test even eightpound test fluorocarbon or if you wantto drop down to that four pound testthat needs to be monofilament and he'susing the monofilament I was talkingabout probably getting to do the sametechnique and some waters that we havearound me using a like a 4 to 5 poundtest copolymer line so I'm gonna belooking into doing that as wellneutrally went the reason is you don'tget that reverse bow that you do whenyou're fishing really long cast withmonofilament that baits ain't down butyour line is wanting to float so you geta reverse pendulum or arc going down andthat's why sometimes it's a little bitharder to fill that fish however whenyou set the hook with that ultra lightgear ultra light line you have a betterchance because there's so much stretchin that monofilament it will keep youfrom breaking that line so you have toactually have that drag a lot tighterthan you would actually think and thenonce you set that hook you get that fishhooked so in other words when you getpast all that initial stretch whenyou're fighting the fish you need toadjust the drag back down as you'refighting the fish up as far as a rod andreel combination you're looking at a2500 series reel so small reel maybeeven a thousand series reel depending onit maybe for that a tight binding therea 6 6 to 7 foot spinning rod I would sayyou want a little bit of a fast actionbut I'm not too fast you won't want thatthing unload 90you don't want it to stiff in otherwords the shutoff point or whether themain power body that rod is you don'twant it engaging too quickly I don'tweigh if the fish comes up to the boatand it's fighting around like they do inthat clear water you have less or a riskof breaking them off especially withlike a braid the leader setup so I wouldsay more of a moderate fast action soI'm gonna be kind of messing around withthat a little bit myself there's someleaks around
