If only this nation was as worried about its mothers, sisters, daughters, partners, aunts, cousins, friends, and coworkers as it is about faceless black and brown urban threats. If we were, we’d make other choices in terms of guns. Namely removing them from individuals with protective orders against them. Communities that do, have seen results.
