xXAmLuvsXx Summarized.

Keep in mind just like the Nadzarki situation/Summary I did, I am doing my best to simplify the information to key points. I might even forget some information, as it's a LOT.

(I do have the Doc links to both situations for others to read on, but let's keep this post an OVERLY UNDERSTATED summary!)

-One, while yes, was at first given the ok to go to remake clockwork, something happened to make clockworks creator change their mind. Out of respect, one would be sad, upset, respect someone's wishes and stop. (like lets not forget clockworks creator has/had to deal with so much harassment for just having their oc shipped with toby. to the point they no longer can work on clockwork as it causes severe anxiety and panic attacks. Something I relate too.)

XxAmLuvsxX HOWEVER, Keeps going on with their remake, even stating they knew they were ripping off clockwork at this point and calling them "Time-lapse" .

-When xXAmLuvsXx went to update Time Lapse, they ended up being called out for stealing clockworks' updated design to remake Time Lapse. To the point where it was obvious that xXAmLuvsXx was purposely going out of their way to steal clockwork over all and "make her better" (rude.) Yet kept most of clockwork's story plots. so like..?

xXAmLuvsXx did admit on livestream to stealing this redesign as well.

-xXAmLuvsXx then lies about a friend dying of cancer to try to get well, sympathy while excusing them using that situation to write in TL's story.

-While we are at it, xXAmLuvsXx decides to also harass clockwork's creator but make this thing.

"Forcing Clockwork to bow." Again at this point, xXAmLuvsXx was actively ignoring Clockwork's creators wishes and was 100% fine with doing something like this to just add salt to the wound. Not the only artwork like this, they made on where clockwork is beating xXAmLuvsXx up and her oc steps in to K**l her. OH and another like this:

-and WAIT there is MORE: Lets add, stealing another OC! This time a fan's child version of Toby. Yay!

-Toby's creator then, you know, not wanting this person to draw Toby since they were actively harassing their close friend. Of course xXAmLuvsXx doesn't care and won't listen. Ironic because Toby's creator actually reached out to help out xXAmLuvsXx when they were going through personal ab**sse but xXAmLuvsXx couldn't be bothered.

-after getting called out(first time), xXAmLuvsXx tried to play "this drama is too much, cant we be friends?" Including making ship art of clockwork and time lapse. -Moving on, She makes a black oc, who is trans then also called them a d/y/k/e, using many black stereotypes to make this oc, INCLUDING using the HARD R N-word. I remember seeing those, but I don't think anyone had time to grab SS. -Oh and is she done ab*ssing Clockwork? NOPE. Draws her OC getting R**ped by Clockwork. (the picture is also my header tho MEME'd) She then Laughs off people getting rightfully upset over this drawing. -xXAmLuvsXx MADE a hate Instagram account and attacked others OCs HARSHLY!! Just full on hate account. Think 2013 "ranting community" -Clockworks creator isn't the only one harassed, she also harassed another calling her things like "Bimbo" "Bimbopasta" etc Incase at this point you are wonder. "Wow this is shit but where does this end up?" WELP NOW I must get into the harder topics. Again i'm doing my best to summarize and i'm fully need to state that this IS being under explained by me. -xXAmLuvsXx Starts sending P**rn to minors! YEP. Time Lapse and Toby p**n Art, to a minor. ALSO flitting with said minor while at it but "Respecting the fact you aren't into woman" She then sends a picture of a P*rnstar to this same minor. (who for that time is 12 years old and lasted years) -She makes this same (at the time 13 year old) send her money to GO to a concert. of course not for free. It would be a commission, where xXAmLuvsXx instant suggested a NSFW commission. -At some point, xXAmLuvsXx got n*des from another person (not a minor) and threated to leak them if they didn't do what she wanted. (Which was PERSONAL information) -Then xXAmLuvsXx sends more NSFW to minors. (one being a 16 year old, who asked her to stop.) -Back to the 13 year old, xXAmLuvsXx tries to gaslight, and emotionally manipulate them "I thought they where a friend I could trust :( " -xXAmLuvsXx had also a private NSFW insta, that she TAGGED a minor (rping as clockwork) in. ONCE AGAIN, also of R**pe art with NO warnings for those sensitive to said topics. -THen sends stuff to a group chat filled with minors (14-17). Srsly WOMAN you are an ADULT! Find ADULT friends! Though you are an danger to minors and have proven you DON'T care. - MY GOD, This WOMAN! Then starts FAKING (proven) Game ending, and weaponizing S*lf H*rm. (She would use both repeatedly to keep friends under her control) One image she sent of her SH was off of google images. Then TRIES to blame the minor she groomer for her game ending! Or attempted to frame it this way. -This:

This time she also posted pictures with a knife and more threats of Selfdeletion... oh, and threatens to harm friends who try to reach out to help (even after all this shit) -weaponizes her own ab*se, stating "even though im a survivor of ___ and ab___." To try to avoid accountability. -She also started to steal (rather lie) money, and states she would need it for food, but in reality it was for cosplays or concerts! (also once again some of these ppl being minors) There is A LOT MORE! But honestly going through this again to write this all down (AND YET STILL ALOT, im sorry) There is SOOO many things, too much for me to list. I'm already feeling mentally drained thing and revisiting all this. TLDR: xXAmLuvsXx is a narssistic abuser, not ashamed of gr**ming Minors, Threaten, harassing and ab*sing anyone. Does NOT respect boundaries. and will weaponize SelfH*rm, Self deletion and their Ab*se and r*pe to avoid accountability. Is fine using slur like the hard N-word, F-Slur, etc.

i lost this entire post. Apparently going back by swiping the wrong way on my magic mouse just...takes you back to the Tumblr homepage? It didn’t even ask if I wanted to leave or save a draft or anything (and it didn’t actually save a draft, I checked). This feels like a weird oversight on Tumblr’s part, but it’s also not the first time this has happened to me. so, fuck it. i’m annoyed as it is.

Designs are really just me spinning my wheels. Art doesn’t happen any more and i doubt my bizarre aesthetic sensibilities appeal to anyone else, so the likelihood of these getting drawn is pretty nil as it is the more i look at what ive designed for erebians the more i wonder wtf i’m doing

i did save the patterns i modified though, so that’s good, in the off chance i might actually need them again

Young Evelyn: pictured her with like a Nirvana t-shirt or whatever but didn’t feel like drawing it. This is basically it. As for the hand, picture something sort of spindly and skeleton-looking like Luke’s robot hand. Also she has one of those tattoo chokers because they were popular in the 90s but i can’t draw those.

Older Evelyn: she gets a tan living there. as for the outfit, I fucked up drawing this because i knew it was too complicated, but this is okay. Big coat is optional. she likes loose clothing and veers towards the bold colours and loose clothing Erebians wear, probably because it’s more comfortable and doesn’t snag on her arm. i have no idea how to picture her arm.

Caelis: first design is how he first appears [in the book, not in Chris flashback]; second is after he cleans up in the same book, won’t say more than that. not stoked with the pattern for the scarf but after spending like $30 on digital paper backs, this was the one that sort of worked the best? sort of. whatever. he keeps the scarf when he cleans up.

experimenting with skin tones because i don’t like how i describe the world as having dark skin as the norm/default and then have almost all the mains just be white af, especially because it doesn’t vibe with the science i am loosely trying to emulate i like it but also i can’t make a decision to save my soul so whatever, no one cares

Zerina: i toyed with the idea that it was acceptable for erebians to go topless because they didn’t have visible breasts like human women and just got a kick out of it. they still hide their tails though. also i like the capris but that’s really more of a summer thing. also toyed with the idea of making it more like overalls and i like that too

also do you realize how many packs have like floral patterns, and how floral patterns don’t work for a worldbuilding perspective when you describe the flora looking like mushrooms?? surprisingly hard. i like the simplicity but the colour scheme was not what i originally had in mind. there’s still blue, just not the shade of blue i had hoped for. zerina looks good in blue due to her orange skin.

that being said i like how disgustingly bright it is and am 1000% down for erebians in B R I G H T colours, especially younger ones. erebians live in the dark, they don’t need to dress dark either. but i like colour and using colour so i got a kick out of it

Aisofan: i did this back when i had energy and motivation, thought i might as well crib that for the second outfit. not sure about the hair colour. not stoked about the sandals because they feel lazy and also i don’t even know if they’d work with that sort of feet but okay, i wrote aisofan as living in a desert. it works.

i was also going to redesign kuiper and kepler but never got around to drawing them, not that it matters, i have a hard time trying to hash them out personality-wise anyway

A life update (for those who do not follow me on Twitter)

Hello everyone! I thought that I should talk about this, given that it’s a major part of my life right now.

So, a new design for an anime dropped, and, for fun, I decided to redesign it! As a silly little thing. Here’s the original design (top) and my redesign (bottom):

And then, well, it clearly reached the wrong crowd of people!!

Before I deleted the Tweet, it got over 200 comments, and precisely three (count ‘em, three) were any sort of positive. I did not screenshot ALL comments, of course. But here a few highlights of the comments that fall into the ‘did nothing except for call my art shit’ category.

Then the sending of Images started.

The account was suspended, and I do not have screenshots (because why the FUCK would I want that on my phone), however, I got sent unsolicited pornography by multiple people multiple times; one of which clearly being intended to be porn of a child having intercourse with a much older man, with the child even having a pacifier in her mouth. This baring in mind that I am a child sexual abuse victim,

Do you guys know of Hero Hei? He’s memed on quite a bit for his.... EXTENSIVE.... Coverage of Twitter users being.... “Triggered” by a design that many people call ugly.

Well... He did, indeed, do a video about me! One that’s less than a minute long! And one than one of my harassers CONFIRMED THAT he found me from.

Now. When we look at how many people I have following me on my art Twitter now, how many do I have? A modest 86.

Now, how many does this YouTuber who put my art on their platform in order to mock it, and send people to harrass me, have?

TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY SEVEN THOUSAND.

Call me crazy, but I think that there may be a bit of a power imbalance there. I dunno, he may be ‘punching down’ slightly, if you will.

This whole thing has been taking up my life MAJORLY for the past few days, due to the nonstop harassment, slurs, gore and porn. I have blocked everyone who has done it, but, yeah, they keep making new accounts.

answering anti LO anon asks:

(1) Correct me if I’m wrong here, but aren’t the only nymphs who die in mythology connected to cut down trees? Because I’ve never once seen a myth about flower nymphs dying because of picked flowers. I don’t know, just seems like another case of LO making up mythology with no logic or backing and thinking its clever or original. Also didn’t Persephone say she hated the nymphs anyway in comic?? Why would she care if they died?? She said she was going to kill them anyway for not leaving her alone ...

(2) Went thru some lastest eps of LO and Persephone still looks like a baby-faced sex doll with awful hair and Hades deadass looking like a "sexy" redesign of the Disney version. Is that the best she can come up with lol. i thought she was a professional illustrator, isn't character design one of the first things they teach you in illustration courses?

(3) Apparently LO was a trending topic (thanks to the fastpassers flooding their own tag) so i went through it & does anyone have any deep thoughts? It's all the same exact basic reactions. And the panels they post! I know HxP is a popular ship, but the art is so bad & rushed now, it's actually sad. She put so much effort into an onscreen R*PE SCENE but the big romantic moments and "epic" twists are amateurish at best. The characters barely stand out from the backgrounds! There's not even line work!

(4) I feel like this "dark take" (god it's so badly drawn and so stupid because it makes her a villain to anyone NOT wanting to have sex with her) of LO Persephone would have been more impactful if we didn't already know she killed people. Smythe keeps putting in spoiling panels (Her killing people, her as Queen, etc) well before it happens that it just loses impact. Sometimes it's better to naturally build up to a shocking moment versus just getting a cool panel or cliffhanger.

(5) "Murderous Persephone" would be a fine of a take if it was used to comment on the cruelty of the gods and how even they can go too far (Like Zeus showing regret during the Trojan War) and even showing her as WRONG in her actions, because even at the end of the day the gods still had to look over humanity and she didn't. LO doesn't want that though, they'll butcher Persephone to be completely awful and unjustified just as a cheap "badass" moment instead of saying she's being downright evil.

(1) Tbh I don’t know much about deaths of Nymphs. However Greeks were never against the practice of picking flowers. If picking flowers killed nymphs then I imagine we wouldn’t do it traditionally and we would have cautionary tales for that. I am not sure if cutting down trees killed them either. It doesn’t make sense when your culture relays on wood that you would make it a negative thing to cut trees. Now, if you cut down a sacred tree (where the nymph lives or if she is the embodiment of the tree) then yeah that would be bad. If you have found sources on that I would love to see them, since I don’t know much on the matter. But for the flower thing I am 99% certain Smythe took that out of her ass.

(2)+(3) I guess she keeps the style because it’s what brought her fame. Many people like it so it doesn’t make sense to change it. But I agree, the quality is low and I would love to see something better, especially now that she can afford helpers and taking breaks. Plus, don’t expect anything deep from this comic. It deals with serious issues but not in a serious way...

(4) I think she put those spoiling panels there as a teasing effect and, for me, it kinda worked. Maybe it makes people anticipate learning about the past and the future of Persephone. She kept that “dark secret“ for many episodes so the readers keep reading. Obviously, it didn’t work for everyone...

(5) True. It seems she can’t make up her mind about the morality of the gods. She wants them to be appealing to 21st century teenagers so the narrative adopted the human morality. So, Persephone did something really “evil“ according to human standards and the narrative should deal with it that way. If the narrative pushes the “look how badass Persephone is“ then... this morality doesn’t make sense. We are expected to judge Persephone but then... not judge her?

It’s a real good image. I want to let you know from the beginning of this review that CD and I have both been raving about what a good troll Charyl is from the second she set (prosthetic) foot in our inbox. She’s so so creepy and we both love her so much.

FIRST: Alternia, and she’s closer to being in the Hiveswap setting then the Hivebent one.

I think given our current info re: Hiveswap all that tells us is that she is living before Feferi was hatched.

Name (preferably include how you came up with it and why): Charyl (derived from one of the Deathstalker scorpion’s venom known to cause paralysis) Thytue (from a genus of scorpion called ‘Tityus’)

Age: 7.85 sweeps

Strife Specibus: Needlekind (the sewing kind)

I like it, especially since you can also swap it with the hypodermic kind. If I may suggest another option, maybe stringkind? She could use anything from silly string (comedic), to thread (thematic), to fishing line (deadly).

Fetch Modus: I can never think of a good one, lol.

I have two for you! The first is a simple SINGING MODUS based off Singer sewing machines.

The second is a CLAW CRANE MODUS like the ones you see in arcades and are invariably rigged to some extent. I like this for a few reasons:

1) it harkens back to her toy theme which is present throughout her bio, and

2) you could have the “claw” of this modus be her limp doll hand, which would just look so creepy.

Blood color: Cerulean,

Symbol and meaning: Scorrius, sign of the cunning (Hope + Derse)

We’ll get to that later in your bio!

Trolltag: tetraplegicTrinket (it’s referring to her dolls, which are trolls that are essentially permanently paralyzed, and she dolls them up)

It’s a good name! If you want to alter it slightly you can go for quadriplegicTinkerer so her abbreviation can be QT.

Quirk: Sh3 tr13s to 1ncoporat3 h3r s1gn 1n h3r sp33ch! (i want to find something that suits her better, if you have any suggestions!)

|-|-|-|- H(::)w about that she begins and ends her sentences with f(::)ur stitches and replaces “o” with (::)? -|-|-|-|

Special Abilities (if any): Vision eightfold, with it being split to both her eyeballs, to appear like buttons, going along with her doll-like theme. It doesn’t really do much for her.

I mean tbh that holds up. We don’t know how much of Vriska’s own abilities were from her vision eightfold, her psychic mutation, or her eventual role as a Thief of Light. The girl had a lot of stuff going on.

Lusus: ScorpionMom, a giant scorpion that paralyzes Charyl’s dolls for her with her giant stinger. She also eats the trolls that die after being turned into dolls. Charyl also laces her needles with her lusus’s poison, to kidnap trolls she finds fit for being turned into dolls. Their relationship is pretty good, all things considered, though ScorpionMom keeps to herself, most of the time. This adds on to Charyl’s feeling of isolation.

I think this is oddly permissive for a ceruleanblood lusus; while Vriska’s Spidermom was obviously an extreme case, it seems that bigger lusii generally need to get fed, and will not necessarily take kindly to their ward dangling almost-available food in front of them while they finish playing with it. I think it makes more sense that Charyl uses her lusus’s poison to paralyze (and eventually kill) her victims where Scorpionmom’s full sting would out-and-out kill a troll. It can still play into her isolation because she’ll need to work to keep away from her mom while her doll is still alive, and it still gives her an easy method of getting rid of the bodies.

Apperance: She is a tall troll, around 5’9, and rather thin. Charyl has vision eightfold, though split, and makes her eyes look like buttons. She styles her hair into two long twintails, and a bow wrapped around her horn that has her symbol on it. Charyl dresses in gothic trollita garb, which is mostly made by herself, consisting of a black, frilly dress with a cerulean bow, and mary janes, and knee-high socks.

GOTHIC TROLLITA. HOLY SHIT I LOVE IT.

Charyl is a quadruple amputee, from an accident where one of her dolls, a fellow cerulean blood, was under-dosed, and managed to mind control Charyl into breaking and contorting her own limbs, as a way of revenge. The cerulean blood escaped, and Charyl managed to recover from the life-threatening experience. She managed to take some rather large doll parts, and fashion them into workable replacement limbs with the help of an acquaintance experienced in robotics.

Hm. So I like the premise of this a lot. With that said, do we have evidence that psychic cerlueanbloods can influence their peers? After all, part of what makes them so dangerous is that they have psychic abilities on par with a lowblood sans their requisite vulnerabilities. If I may suggest a different scenario with a similar outcome, perhaps an indigoblood with a particularly STRONG immune system failed to succumb to the poison in the expected timeframe and overcame her with their remaining strength. This could spur her distaste for kidnapping highbloods and still leave her disabled.

Personality: She’s pretty bubbly and energetic, and quite motherly. Sometimes she wishes she were a jadeblood so she could take care of a wriggler. She also treats her dolls (both living and nonliving), like her children, loving to dress them up and take care of their needs. However she is also very controlling, and is quite uncomfortable whenever she isn’t able to offer her opinion, or do things how she wants.

She’s pretty spoiled from her highblood upbringing, but is equally friendly to both highbloods and lowbloods, due to her not caring about the hemospectrum that much (though she turns more lowbloods into her dolls than highbloods, due to them being easier to abduct). Charyl is a lonely troll, and uses her dolls as a way to not feel as alone as she does, due to her lack of friends outside of the ones she meets online.

Yeah kidnapping lowbloods sure is easier when everything about the hemospectrum makes them easier to kill huh?

Due to the experience with the cerulean blood (which is one of the reasons why she prefers lowbloods for her dolls), she hardly leaves her hive, aside from going outside to find new victims. She is also socially awkward, and prefers the company of her dolls, mostly due to not fearing the social apprehension she feels when interacting with highbloods.

Interests: Charyl absolutely loves fashion, especially gothic trollita clothes. She likes sewing, and making her own dresses and accessories, for herself, and also her dolls.

If it wasn’t obvious, she also is obsessed with dolls, though her favorite type are the trolls she kidnaps, and permanently paralyze with her lusus’s poison. Most are unable to speak, and eventually die to the poison. Charyl dotes on them, dressing them up and taking care of their needs. She has a rather large collection of both living and nonliving dolls.

Charyl also likes playing doctor, though treats “patients” through the process of bloodletting, with the same needles she uses for her sewing.

Title: (got any suggestions?)

I do, because I don’t think she’s actually a Hope player. I mean if we wanted to stay on that track she’d be more likely to be a Rage player because her whole schtick is narrowing her own and others’ options, and I could make arguments for her being a Life or a Doom player, buuuuut.

You’ve made her bio one that’s very Of Things. She likes having material things, whether they’re bodies or dolls or clothes. And her hobby of kidnapping real, actual trolls to turn them into dolls is technically a form of recycling and of creativity.

Basically, she’s a fucked-up kind of Space player. More specifically, she’s a Thief of Space, which is GREAT because she’s like if Kanaya and Vriska had a creepy and fashionable lovechild, ESPECIALLY given that you said she sometimes wishes she was a jadeblood!

Her inverse would be a Page of Time, which I think kind of works given that she’s effectively fucking with others’ time both by freezing their progress and by dramatically shortening their lives!

Land: Doesn’t have one yet! Still on the fence on if she’ll actually play sburb or not

That’s fine! For the sake of argument let’s say her land is Land of Chloroform and Frogs (LOCAF). All these frogs just floating in chloroform. Maybe some of them are splayed out like an anatomical diagram. Maybe some of them have been taxidermied. Many of them will be dissected like a high school bio unit. It’ll certainly make it easy to see which frog have the anatomical traits you want in the future Bilious Slick. The Land probably isn’t even safe to traverse without a gas mask given how damn fast the stuff works. It’s macabre and fits really well with how Space players’ frogs tend to be frozen in time in some manner.

Dream Planet: Derse

I definitely agree that she’s a Dersite given how much she seems to be in her head. With that, she’s a Scorga, sign of the Deviser, which sufficiently vague that I guess it works?

…Oh MAN I just looked that one up and the fuckin’ arrow tail looks like a scorpion poised to strike! It’s perfect for her!

Thank YOU for this creepy creepy lady! My redesign will be very very minimal but HOO BOY did I have fun making her sprite!

This is gonna come with my requisite list of credits especially because I do not have a tablet and had no goddamn idea where to start with spriting her dress. That base is from deviantart user Thefantrolls and was then heavily edited to match your picture. The horns are straight-up Vriska’s, the bow is from naphal, and the hair was made by compositing like 4 different fan-troll templates.

For the redesign, I used a prosthetic base by hmnj to make it a little more obvious that her legs are prosthetic while maintaining the doll aesthetic. For the hair I wanted to do the scorpion callback but didn’t want to do anything as obvious as the stinger braid (especially since it might lose the lolita aesthetic), so I took a note from Gothorita’s design and tried to give her scorpion claw buns?

Anyway thank you again for this scary scary woman I can’t wait to see her in action.

Author’s Note - Hi, everyone! I thought I might give ChoicesCreates a shot - this is my first ever Choices-related fanfic. A bit about the piece - I’ve always been a Kenna x Raydan shipper, ever since the beginning, but I knew that there would be little to no chance of their marriage being accepted by Kenna’s advisors and Stormholt nobles. This takes place 4-5 years after Kenna’s *almost platonic, completely diplomatic* marriage to Diavolos.

T H E F O R M E R F L A M E

“I thought you’d never come.” The spymaster’s eyes glisten with regret as the figure enters the room, escorted by two tall, sturdy bodyguards in full-fledged armour. She cautiously enters, every step timed and calculated, and rises to her full height.

She manages a diplomatic smile. “Lord Raydan. What a pleasure to see you.”

Raydan motions for her to take a seat. The room is dimly lit, but Kenna is still able to see her reflection in the glimmering marble floor. A long table able to fit ten is placed in the center of the area. Despite its large size, it only holds two chairs, giving off an aura of hollowness - the chairs are placed on both heads of the table. Raydan is sitting on the far end.

Kenna slightly flinches at the thought. Her body starts to back away, her spine tensing up, but Raydan insists. He stops sitting up and casually smiles.

This was the smile Kenna once fell for is falling for. Much to her dismay, her heart begins to race and she finds herself involuntarily taking a seat, unable to meet his eyes.

Raydan clears his throat. “Queen Kenna, it’s an honor to meet you again. It has been a while.”

“I- yes, it’s been a while. Certainly. How are things in Aurelia going? Any, er, new missions or something?” The words come out as weak mumbles. Kenna curses under her breath, wishing she had more self-control. She was often seen as a calm and collected figure - next to Raydan, she looked like a fool. A child.

He sees her nervousness and chuckles lightly, walking over to her side of the table. She notices that he no longer carries his weight oddly when he walks, but instead treads lightly. His slight limp from that one Nevrakis soldier has healed, thanks to Annelyse and Aurelia’s fine herbs.

Damn it, Kenna, hold yourself together, she silently curses. She forces herself to memorise the elegant marble pattern on the floor as Raydan’s slight shadow towers over her.

“I- of course, let’s get down to business… was it the new reinforcements and the potential weapons from the Foundry you wanted to discuss?” Kenna blabbers as a pathetic last attempt to save herself from what is coming next. This is greeted with silence, but Raydan’s breath grows closer and hotter. “Er… that new discovery you just made? The deal you struck with Zeno-“

Raydan sighs, exasperated, and gently cups her chin with his right hand, tipping it slightly upwards so that their faces align. She tries to divert her gaze from his intense stare for one moment, but ends up unable to resist. Once her eyes meet his, the memories come crashing back, wave after wave of realization crashing into her.

The Aurelian party. How he had saved her. The maze and defeating the Mechataur. The first time they kissed. The way he held her hand while they were finding their way through ruins. Meeting his sister, the Adder of Lykos, and how she had told Kenna to treat her brother well… the one time she finally acknowledged that her feelings ran deeper for him than she would like, and the many times he told her that he’d risk his life for her.

The bitter times hit her harder. She remembers her advisors sitting in a neat circle, telling her how Raydan is not worthy of being her consort. She recalls the endless nights of looming and crying. And worst of all, she sees the most vivid, most painful memory of all - telling him that she was to marry Diavolos Nevrakis.

A suitable, proper marriage, they had said. One widely accepted by the nation and one that would greatly ease tensions between Abanthus and Stormholt.

Raydan brushed it off that night, saying that a spymaster wasn’t supposed to be seen with the Queen of Stormholt, and that he could easily slip in when Diavolos was away. Kenna rejects this. His face nearly crumples up and he is crestfallen. When he asked why, she lies that she had developed feelings for him and perhaps Raydan should just leave.

And for the first time, the spymaster falls for a lie. And he is not the only person in the room whose heart just shattered into a million pieces.

The marriage does not last. Diavolos is killed in an uprising in Lykos which was halted after Adder is brought into power. When Diavolos died, their relationship was strained - fine, but strained - and lacking of love. Kenna respected him as a great king and leader but never anything more, and that feeling is mutual both ways.

She does not remember the last time they made love, only that instead of thinking of her husband, it was Raydan’s name that threatened to escape her mouth.

Her mind jumps back to present day and she instinctively leans in quickly, not even taking a glance. To her surprise, Raydan stops her, holding her by the shoulders as she opens her eyes in confusion.

“Kenna, are you sure?”

“What do you mean?”

“I’m just a spymaster, meant for the shadows. Think about the nation. Because the last thing I want to do is hurt you… or the people.”

Kenna’s head tilts to the side, deep in thought.

“Raydan, are you sure that’s what you want?”

“My queen, if I could get what I want, I’d have you every night for the rest of my life. But we have learned the hard way that not everything is handed to us on a silver platter. And besides…” His voice trails off, but Kenna completes his statement.

“You don’t want me to be taken away again?”

Raydan sighs, genuine sadness and regret in his eyes. When he meets Kenna’s gaze for the second time, it is obvious that her feelings mirror his. An awkward silence follows, his hands still on her chin and hers on his shoulders.

“Kenna, I’ve lost you once. I do not think I can survive the heartbreak of losing you a second time.”

They stay still for minutes.

Raydan allows himself to hungrily eye Kenna’s body. Her arms still looked as delicate, her legs as inviting as before. She was still the same Kenna from the good old days, just moulded into a queen. Still the same Kenna who stayed up all night awaiting him in her tent the day before the victory at Lykos. Her skin looked more polished and her armor redesigned, but her eyes still held the same spark they did before.

She still looked the same to people from afar, but he was trained to catch minor details that gave people away. And it was almost like Kenna wanted him to find those details, like she wanted him to think that she was better off without him.

Raydan knows that this is the doing of her foolish pride, and that is why he makes the first move.

“What if we just forget that for one moment?”

Suddenly their minds are back in the command tent, in the vulnerable situation prior to this stability. She is no longer Queen Kenna Rys of Stormholt, a figure admired by many, and he is no longer a street rat from Abanthus unworthy of the throne. She was Kenna and he was Raydan. He was her king.

This time, Kenna does not retreat when Raydan caresses her cheeks. She does not pull out her sharpened dagger like she did when Raydan came to warn her about Azura’s assassins. Instead, she leans in, and her coated lips meet his, first delicately, then forcefully.

Kissing Raydan was like playing a game of tug of war. It is a test of strength, of willpower - a test of who could pull the furthest and blow the other away. Despite the voice in her head telling her to stop, Kenna surrenders to him and she

finds herself

Ch 93: Not the end for Ymir?

Chapter 93 gave us the confirmation that Ymir has in fact been eaten by Galliard, Marcel’s brother, seemingly marking the ending point of her character once and for all. Given the context of the new episode, as well as the little focus or pages dedicated to her apparent last moments, many of us are very upset with the seemingly lackluster climax of her character arc; and her decision to abandon Historia to save RB and let herself be killed seems to go very much against everything her characterization according to many fans.

The point of this post isn’t to argue about any of that, but instead, to illuminate a possible indicator that we may have not seen the last of everyone’s favorite goddess.

Please let us think back to chapter 50; one of the most impactfull and monumental chapters in the entire series, for many reasons. It marks the only time so far in the story that Eren has successfully manipulated the founding titan within him, the godlike power at the center of the current (and probably final) plot, aimed at his very first enemy; that alone marks a milestone in the series, not to speak of the various character interactions happening along the way. Among others, this chapter also marks the moment Ymir chooses to abandon Historia, the person she seems to care for more than anyone else, despite the fact that the coordinate marks a real hope for the walled world to survive the dangers Ymir is aware of.

Now, despite the fact that this game changing power debuts in this chapter, the narrator this time around focuses on one arguably lesser important event: the aforementioned separation. Let’s look at it.

“At the time, we didn’t know what Ymir’s actions meant. But after that, the armored titan stopped chasing after us”-narrator, chapter 50.

This narration is interesting for various reasons. First of all, it marks one of the rare occasions in which the narrator is not impersonal, but in fact identifies with present characters. Other notable occasions of this include Kenny’s flashback in 69, and Eren’s description of the photograph in chapter 85 (both chapters with heavy plot and thematic value for the story, just like ch 50, if I may add). Here, the narrator refers to himself as part of a group, but opposes themselves against the armored titan, implying narrator is not part of RB’s team, but in fact of the Survey Corps escaping back to the walls (most likely part of the EMA, maybe even Armin himself considering Marina Inoue typically voices the narrator. We should hear that animated soon enough).

That’s not the only thing the narrator is implying though. The use of the past tense as well as “at the time” is crucial. It literally means that, although they did not understand Ymir during chapter 50; at the time of narration, some form of understanding is clearly present. If, at the time of narration, the narrator was still as clueless as back then, there would be no need for “at the time” of past tense, but this particular formulation very much implies that an understanding of Ymir’s actions is very much there in the present time. And here’s the thing: even though Ymir’s death has been confirmed, our characters among which the narrator finds himself have yet to reach a point of understanding Ymir’s actions.

First of, let’s determine “Ymir’s actions”. Ymir herself is a big mystery to our cast, but according to the narrator, Ymir’s actions are what directly precedes the armored titan not following narrator and co; in which case, “Ymir’s actions” has to refer to her abandonment of Historia and her helping out R and B. In that case, the narration above implies the following: the narrator part of the surviving SC forces will eventually come to understand the meaning behind Ymir’s betrayal. Now, as of chapter 93, let’s ask the question: Does anyone present back then understand Ymir?

Ymir herself expresses surprise at her actions, Ymir herself is unsure of her actions when writing the letter, which marks the most recent time anyone inside the walls has received information concerning Ymir. As of chapter 90, the last moment we spent with whomever the ch 50 narrator is, said narrator has yet to reach a point of understanding Ymir. OUR CAST STILL DOES NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF HER ACTIONS, AS FORETOLD BY CHAPTER 50. Isn’t that basically a confirmation that Ymir’s story isn’t done yet?

You may counterargue that its been 4 years and that Isa has changed his mind since, esp since he doesn’t want to drag the story out at anymore. But I find it so hard to believe that, in one of the most important chapters in the series, one that is still relevant to this day, the narrator focuses on this one plot point that simply ends up dropped over the course of the series. Chapter 50 is too important for that kind of redesign, wouldn’t you say? Who knows, maybe it’ll wind up different in the anime and will mark a retrofit by Isayama that fits better in line with 89 being the end of her story, but until we see it animated, I’ll chose to keep doubting that.

As for how Ymir’s story can still be told to our main cast? Here’s one possible option: Galliard

According to the (admittedly bad) fan translation, Galliard understands Ymir and her wish to bring back her titan-something neither us readers nor the narrator in question do as of right now. Granted, this could just be terrible translation, but Galliard could wind up being the gateway between Ymir and the main cast. Or its something entirely different. In a story about time travelling memories, matter that forms out of thin air, and the literal power of a god capable of reshaping the planet and controlling an entire species, death seems like a far too small barrier to stop someone from being relevant to the story, one way or another.

Since the majority of this argument is based off the lines spoken by the narrator in 50, there is a minor chance this is all ridiculous blunder if the official translation turns out to somehow differ from the Japanese original, and if anyone knows if it does, I would appreciate if you could inform me. But otherwise, I personally will start taking those words from chapter 50 as heavy evidence Ymir’s story hasn’t fully been told yet. I don’t want to create false hopes for anyone, but until proven otherwise, I don’t think it’s too unreasonable to believe in it.

Never mind: I don't think she'll try to ride the waves with that motorbike (even if every ridin'girl has some hidden talents, only a guy - as far as I remember - is able to walk across water). Here it is the beutiful photoshoot of the Gixxer-holic Sammy: now feast your eyes on these wonders! The Suzuki GSX-R600 is a class-leading sport bike worthy of its race-winning GSX-R heritage. Whether you’re carving through your favorite canyon or dominating the racetrack, it offers unparalleled performance. A compact, powerful 4-cylinder engine demonstrates the advanced race-proven technology of the GSX-R line when you hit the throttle and push it to redline, while supremely refined suspension systems front and rear help provide precise, responsive handling. From day one Suzuki has continued to keep the GSX-R600 and 750 in the same development cycles with small detail changes to suit the two very different engine characters. Extensively updated for the 2011 model year, this year’s GSX-R600 has differed very little since then with an extensive engine overhaul, nine kilogram drop in weight, redesigned chassis, Showa Big Piston Forks (BPF) and Brembo Monobloc brakes. It was a machine that put Suzuki ahead of the competition back then and ensured the machine is still relevant now. On the road the GSX-R600 is a formidable package. Comfortable – for a sportsbike – with a strong mid-range and razor-sharp handling, it is more revvy than the GSX-R750 that carries the same chassis and engine architecture. That said, there’s no frantic cog-swapping or need to keep the engine spinning up near its 15,500rpm red-line. The engine will get you off the line well without too many revs on-board and gets things moving along most productively once the it is spinning above 5000rpm with a strong, linear power delivery right the way through to twice that. Keeping the tacho needle in the upper-half of the dial is where you make the best progress and, in this respect, it makes the 600 a little more taxing to ride than the 750, which has a load more torque and extra power over the 600 thanks to the capacity increase. There is still good drive off a closed throttle, but you need to be more conscious of what gear you are in. Call it a rider aid, the slipper-clutch helps make downshifts smoother and more controlled and is a godsend braking hard into bumpy corners on the road. As far as the chassis goes, it is bred on the race track, with the ergonomic package one of the most comfortable there is on a sportsbike in my opinion. Even so, Suzuki’s GSXRs have always been comfortable as far as I can recall back to the 90s and there is scope for adjustment in the foot-peg hangers through a selection of mounting holes to shrink or expand the ride triangle. Pillions are considered with a removable seat-pad that makes way for a cowl and the rear perch is comfortable and roomy, but still not the kind of place you want to be for too long. The Brembo braking package has excellent feel and power being part of the big update to the GSX-R600 six years ago. Compared to today’s brake offerings they have all the power of modern packages, but without the finite electronic assistance that ABS now delivers. Same too should be said for the Showa BPF front suspension and rear shock, which are still at the top of their game despite being superseded by Showa’s own Balance Free Front Forks and Balance Free Rear Cushion Lite shock that feature on the new GSX-R1000. Racers will want a bit of fine-tuning on the track, but no road rider is going to push the limits of this machine on the road. Built for the race track, the handling of the GSX-R600 is equally a delight at high-speeds taking harsh and abrupt changes in the road surface in its stride. At slow speeds turn-in is light, fast, and suspension is not abrupt in its control. There’s plenty of scope in the clickers at both ends to make it firmer or more supple, but as with any new bike these days the manufacturer has got a great all-round package dialled in from the get-go. Problem is as good as it is on the road, you can’t help to want to be on the racetrack every time you fire up this mid-sized mauler. Leeeet’s see… well to start with, there’s the fact that he’s rather eager to re-write history and has tried to suppress information he didnt want getting out, not unlike our dear Presidente’s current struggle with the sinister and secretive branch of the government known as the National Park Service and their dastardly, ruinous plot to point out that Trump’s inauguration crowd was far, far smaller than President Obama’s 2009 inauguration. Once upon a time, Ken Penders did his damnedest to suppress co-writer Karl Bollers’ declaration that the timeline shown in his Mobius: 25 Years Later stories was just one of many futures rather than being the one true future. Similarly, he also refuses to acknowledge the fact that the Bunnie/Antoine ship didn't start with him, but was rather initiated by Angelo DeCesare… whose heavy involvement in the early days of the book Penders has repeatedly downplayed.

In fact, Penders in general has a pretty hostile history with facts that contradict him, not unlike the Trump- he once called a guy a troll for pointing out that he had originally announced that the Lara-Su Chronicles, even though it’s plainly spelled out on his forum that it is ‘COMING SOON IN 2012!’. For the record, he has claimed at least three times that he would be ready with the release of the book (or the App, it’s difficult to keep track by this point), and has since declared it will have no release date.

Similarly, much like Trump, Penders has made some very outrageous accusations without ever apologizing or rescinding his statements- notably, accusing Ian Flynn of stealing ideas from him only for the actual evidence to not really support this thesis, though to this day he still maintains this accusation even though there is nothing to support. That’s without getting in on him making judgement calls on Flynn’s work without ever having read any of it (same deal with DeCesare). Similarly, he has hinted at SEGA/Archie manipulating facts and that this is directly responsible for people’s poor reception against him, despite the fact that his own bad behavior is what makes people dislike him so much. It brings to mind the various claims of ‘media bias’ by Trump accounting for his lack of popularity despite his own words causing many to disdain him.

And not unlike Trump downplaying the fact that many of his businesses are shoddily run and maintained, Penders has downplayed just how bad his current work is, even going so far as to declare that retailers told him that it looked superior to anything in the Sonic books, despite that very bluntly not being the case (unless he’s talking about ‘Many Hands’, in which case it would be near impossible for even Penders to do worse). Then of course his claims of a ‘following’ developing for Lara-Su Chronicles, despite there being no evidence at all to support the idea that anybody outside of the Sonic fandom even knows about the project, to say nothing of the *overwhelming* negativity.

Hmm, what else, what else- ah yes, hypocrisy! Trump has espoused certain values that supposedly align with the Republican Party’s own stated values (he’s not alone in this mind you), but his own personal practices stand in a stark contrast to the values he claims to espouse. He criticized Obama for using executive orders to bypass congress, but now has done the same to go even further and directly impact his agenda upon the public. He screamed about the elections being rigged, but when evidence turned up that something shady may have helped him, he downplayed it and refused to investigate the issue further. Penders presents himself as a liberal champion of creator’s rights, but his actions and writing betray a rather different mindset- while he sued SEGA over Chronicles infringing upon his own work, his Lara-Su Chronicles redesigns and work are very nakedly trying to infringe upon SEGA and the Sonic Franchise. Similarly, he has pinched images from google that he did not create, used without credit or permission from the people who DID make them, and has used work not of his own making for his promo page of ‘The Storm’, namely the inks of Alan Jensen, whose name does not appear anywhere on the aforementioned page. Also, the fact that he stole the name of his new work from a fan of his and never credited him or spoke to him afterwards. Always a shining sample of Penders’ being Penders right there.

As for how his writing mirrors Trump, Penders rather likes to declare himself a feminist, but his writing betrays a kind of objectification and dismissal of women that is not unlike Trump’s own ghastly opinions of the fairer sex. For all that Penders likes to toot his own horn, he saw no problem with trying to present a romance between a 21 year old and a 16 year old, wherein the 21 year old aggressively pursued said romance, without seeing any issue with the age difference. Further, he justified the death of a major female character on the basis of ‘Cramping Sonic’s Style’ (one of many, many excuses I should add), the ‘noble sacrifice’ for Lupe that he wrote was to show that ‘even a female could make the ultimate sacrifice’, and when confronted over the possibility of Bunnie unintentionally cheating on Antoine with Evil Sonic (which I should add qualifies as rape by deception) made it clear that in his mind SHE was the one who transgressed and that Antoine would ‘forgive’ her. Oh and of course the fact that in the future he outlined in 25YL, Sally Acorn and Julie-Su, who were defined largely as being leaders and soldiers respectively, have no real role in things save to serve as housewives for their husbands, with Sonic even outranking Sally as king and having more of a say in how things are to proceed than she does despite her having more experiance as a leader. Lien-Da, who Penders touted as a ‘bad ass villain’, is of so little consequence that in the future she is similarly happy playing home maker, having never, ever achieved her ambitions nor having enough of an impact to even continue holding the animosity of her sister. Finally, in a major unveiling for The Lara-Su Chronicles, he chose to debut the title character in a blatantly sexualized swimsuit, deciding that evidently eye-candy was more important for his ‘feminist science fiction character’ than anything else. So, as you can see, Penders ain’t too different from Trump on that front despite what he likes to say.

Heck, Penders even comes with his own answer to Sean Spicer in the form of his forum moderator BobR, who responds with great hostility to any criticisms of the Great Penders! There was a kerfluffle a while back when the moderator of the (now sadly defunct) “A Moment of Archie Sonic” blog posted some criticism over some of the deeply amateurish mistakes Penders had made in his then-new reveals of the redesigns he intended for the Lara-Su Chronicles. BobR proceeded to come up with a bunch of bullshit about why said moderator was clearly incompetent and making crap up. Also, Bobby boy once threatened to ban people for not viewing the ugly Lien-DA CG figure as being quality. Penders approved of all of this and did not see fit to chastise the man for his bad behavior.

There’s other things I could bring up, but I think I’ve more than made my case- the comparison is not unwarranted, not even remotely, and every time Penders opens his mouth he only manages to highlight the eerie similarities he has to the guy. Because while their stated politics might be night and day? They’re cut from precisely the same grimy, oily cloth.

What Is the DARCI Accountability Grid & How Can It Save Your Next Project?

In the past 30 days, we've launched six new service-related website pages and a 10,000-word piece of pillar content on website redesign for IMPACT. In the next 30 days, we will launch eight (or nine) new website pages, three new pieces of pillar content, and complete the first phase of a content migration, born of our merger with The Sales Lion.

(Did you miss that newsflash about our merger? It's amazing.)

Given that I'm an only child, I'd love to say that this was all completed entirely by yours truly -- but that would be a lie.

Of course, you know that.

As with any massive project, a team of incredibly talented people were involved in bringing the vision, content, design, video, and web components of all of these projects to life.

I was, however, the project owner and manager of these initiatives. And if you've ever been a project manager, you know the most challenging aspect of any project is not managing the tasks, but managing the people so you will all deliver on time, without blowing out your budgeted resource allocation.

That's where the DARCI Accountability Grid can help.

But before we can unpack what DARCI is and why it's so great, I first want to talk more about why people are the problem with projects.

"Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before..."

Let's say you're working on a website project. You have a final draft of copy ready to ship to your design and development team, so you can start pushing your new site pages live.

You go you your boss, who you've been reporting to on your project's progress at each step of the way, and say, "Hey, this is ready for your sign-off, so we can go live!"

They pause. You hold your breath.

Then they respond with one of the following:

"I'm not the best person to ask about this."

"This looks fine, but has Jane seen it? Show it to her and then bring it back to me."

"You know, on second thought, get Jack to look at this -- he's probably a better resource."

"No, no, no, this is all wrong -- you should have consulted me on the strategy and wireframes first."

Or, my personal favorite, "Wait, why am I only seeing this just now?"

After your soul leaves your body, you hit your head on your desk until you can't feel feelings anymore.

Why couldn't they have told you any of this before you poured hours and hours of work into something they were always going to hate or pass-off to someone else who is also probably going to hate it?

Why did they waste your time?

Even when I was in my infancy as a content marketer, I knew how to generally assign roles for a project. You had your approvers and your do-the-thingers, and occasionally someone had to chime in to provide an additional opinion.

But through experience over the years -- as well as a few very hard lessons of "trial by fire" -- I've learned that role identification in a project is what will determine how successful -- and not painful -- any initiative will be. And the level of detail you need to get to, in terms of defining those roles, matters.

If any of this sounds familiar to you -- chasing down elusive, never-ending approvals; constantly having to redo and rescope work; curling up into a ball and weeping silently at 3 a.m. over projects that will never end -- there is good news.

These are the exact project management problems that the DARCI Accountability Grid solves.

What Is the DARCI Accountability Grid?

A long, long time ago, a group of people much smarter than I am sat down at a conference room table and shook all their brains around until the DARCI Accountability Grid exploded all over the whiteboard in front of them. As they basked in the glory of their wondrous creation, angels sung to them from on high, and rays of light beamed down upon them from the heavens above.

(At least I assume that's what happened. I don't know where this beautiful thing came from. It just appeared -- but the angels thing sounded cool, right? Whatever, moving on...)

Basically, the DARCI Accountability Grid establishes who is accountable for what for any type of organizational activity or project. Moreover, the responsibilities of each of these roles are very clearly defined, so there is no confusion.

D: Delegator and/or Decider

The D for a project is the ultimate decision-maker. They have the right to veto or provide approval. This is typically a single person -- perhaps a department head, a VP, or a C-level executive -- but can sometimes be a governing body, like a board of directors. The D is also responsible for delegating work to the person in the A seat. (This is where Kathleen, to whom I directly report, lives in my projects.)

A: Accountable

The A is the person who is held solely responsible for whether or not the project gets done. They're the person reporting up to the D, but the D must also bestow upon them a level of decision-making authority and discretion that is in-line with how much accountability they've been given. (AKA, me.)

R: Responsible

The person or persons literally responsible for "doing the thing" on a project. So, if it's a design project, it's your designer. If it's an eBook that will be designed, it's the team of players overseeing content creation and design. If it's a website, you may have a team of subject matter experts contributing, copywriters, designers, and developers. (I sometimes have a role here with content creation. This is also the role Christine has had on our recent projects.)

C: Consulted

As opposed to someone who is contributing effort, like those who live in the responsible category, the C should be applied to those individuals who may be consulted or asked for their input. They do not, however, have final approval power. (Hi, Marcus & George!)

I: Informed

This last one is my favorite. The I is the person or persons who need to be kept informed of a project's progress, but here's the kicker: While they get to be kept in the loop, they are explicitly prohibited within this system from derailing a project based on any information they receive. Meaning, you're just giving them a heads up, not soliciting their feedback. (Hi, Bob!)

How to Use the DARCI Accountability Grid

Using the DARCI Accountability Grid to manage your projects is easy, in that the only way you really screw it up is by not doing it. But there are a few things about using DARCI you should keep in mind:

You don't have to fill every role for every project. You should always have the D-A-R roles slated, but often the C-I roles may be left empty, and that's okay. Only fill the roles that are required. Don't put too many cooks in your kitchen if you don't have to.

Some people might play multiple roles -- that's (usually) okay. Typically, you'll see some crossover in the A-R roles. As I noted above, I spend most of my days in the A role, but I also throw my hat in the ring as a content creator, putting me squarely in the R role, as well. That's totally fine. But someone who is a D, for instance, shouldn't have any other role.

Slating your project DARCI should be the first step. If you're going to be the A, as most project managers are, here me when I say this: Before you do anything else -- call your first meeting, create that first wireframe -- you must fill this out. Never, ever start your project without a complete DARCI. Otherwise, why bother using it at all?

Finally, get your approvals straight. Once you have your DARCI squared away -- and you're the A -- consult with your D to determine when they need to be solicited for approvals. For example, on some projects that need to be fast-tracked, Kathleen prefers to be at the very end, when all of the strategy, copy, and design elements have been completed with my oversight. On others, when we have more time -- or the project is more complex/new -- she may want to have an additional layer of approval with the first draft. No matter what approval schedule your D wants, agree to it in advance. Scattered approval structures is where projects go to die.

Start Using DARCI Now... Seriously!

Typically, I love to reserve my conclusions for some sort of mind-blowing takeaway or insight that leaves you breathless -- or at least makes you laugh.

I don't have one of those for you today. All I can say is that using DARCI has drastically improved my ability to manage projects and get them completed on-time and to the satisfaction of others.

And it's such a great system, I fundamentally believe everyone should be using it. Including you.
