spoilers thoughts below

really liked the (I think) added details to where Saturn was staying on the ship. really emphasized his detachment from the everyday. (his status, if you will)

loving the mystery vibes in the sci-fi setting; I'm reminded why I enjoyed/am enjoying this arc so much

didn't remember Lilith getting so upset when S-Hawk attacked her (did that happen? I can't remember details that far back...)

still enjoying the animation a lot

I laughed at Brook being afraid of Stussy and later when he praised Franky on his energetic enthusiasm (I love you Brook)

it's also fun to watch knowing the answer to some of the mysteries and seeing how the anime is setting it up

generally, I had a lot of out loud responses to this ep, but a lot of it was just generally exclaiming or reacting. I can't precisely remember what it was all about. :P but I had fun watching it.

This ep did remind that, since I've been thinking about whether One Piece, post time-skip, is still a good story, I've enjoyed a lot of the post-TS arcs that aren't related to the Law-Alliance-Defeat-Kaido Saga. Though I enjoyed Wano, overall, and there were parts of Dressrosa I liked, I definitely think Whole Cake and so far, Egghead have been more enjoyable. And I attribute that to the focus being more on the Straw Hats, rather than Law and his plans (though the samurai in Wano were fine).

This isn't because I dislike the whole plot with Law but it went on. for. so. long. Anyway, I'm very happy to be in a new arc, even if it has been going on for what, a year or so now.

Also of note, I've noticed that flashbacks post-TS, except for Sanji so far, have focused more on non-Straw Hats, which is interesting but that's another topic unrelated to this post. That is all.

What’s one thing you noticed/realized about this episode that you hadn’t before?

Poor Azusa has to go out of her way to try to not get the Amuro obsessed population of Beika after her. ^^;

Ah, after all this time, Yoko still has headband merchandise. ...Of course I say this, but it's been like, 6 months in the actual timeline. @_@;; (The design isn't identical to the one in the linked case, but I have a feeling it might be meant to be a callback.)

Hm, I wonder if this is meant to take place before or after the events of Crystal Mother? Kid must be very busy if it's before. ^^;

Amuro seems to be wearing Fusae brand clothing.

The staff likely used textured photographs for the art in the museum, but unfortunately my art history is failing me and I'm unable to identify the pieces.

Kid checking for Pandora while Amuro continues talking like nothing is going on is still hilarious to me.

WOOOOOO! 9! Can't wait for (hopefully!) a massive influx of Kid stuff this year with the next movie. ♥ The most recent manga case was the cherry on top.

One Piece Theory Spoilers- Episode 1105 Spoilers

Minor spoilers ahead but spoilers all the same

I've had this theory for awhile and I think shared it on reddit once but now that the anime had caught up, I'm throwing it out there again.

Edward Weevil is likely a poorly made clone of Whitebeard. Might even be a little bit of Frankenstein's monster with bits of the original.

First of all look at his mom. Former Rocks Pirate which connects her to Whitebeard but she is also a self-proclaimed scientist who not only was a freeloader at MADS but was the basis for their first successful clone.

We've seen both Vegapunk and Judge using cloning technology based off their research from MADS, so why wouldn't Miss Buckin also be working on it.

Second just like look at his "scars"

He has one scar completely around his neck, like it was attached. Same for his left arm and around his left eye. We see a lot of scars in One Piece and those aren't battle scars, those are put together like a zombie/Frankenstein monster scars.

For example scars on the left, stitches on the right.

and Zoro and Luffy both have scars that received medical treatment and look more like stitches (Under Luffy's eye and Zoro's chest)

But Weevil's only scars are stitched and tend to wrap around his body.

Also just story wise, why have him? Originally he felt like just a character to shows the chaos post-Whitebeard's death. That he was similar to the Fake Straw Hats in claiming fame. But then he keeps coming back, he defends Sphinx and his mom has all these connections.

dreamt i found a youtube channel that had unreleased one piece episodes, the first ones i watched were titled 740-742 or something and the characters could be seen walking through the desert. doesnt even make sense, the desert episodes were around episode 90 to 140 and not to forget the fact that the newest episode is like... 1105 or so. but whatever. and i forgot if the song was used for the intro or outro, but Abandoned Pools - Remedy was playing. im certain that song came up in the dream because somebody reblogged it from me recently. irl
