Been reading through your blog and I agree with a lot of what you post about d although she’s actually still my favorite character but most other d fans hate me and accuse me of secretly hating her and being a Sansa stan (I do like Sansa but d is my fav) just because I’ll be like yeah I think she’s been written as a budding villain like she was referred to as a THREAT in GRRMs original outline. I think there’s a CHANCE that the villain interpretation is wrong but it’s not likely. I can’t imagine that the show would’ve done that if it was entirely the show’s own idea. It’s been obvious to me since book one when she didn’t realize how cruel it was to ask mirri to heal drogo, then killed her instead of sympathizing with her plight. I also like aegony but think a lot of the foreshadowing people claim isn’t all that sound and could easily have other explanations but when I try to talk to other fans about it suddenly I’m an anti d psyop jonsa stan. I’m totally jonsa neutral tbh I ship her with Podrick because I think it’d be cute but I know that’s pure crack

It's true, she was a villain since the first book. Imagine if we were reading Viserys' POV and we heard her say how she's planning to have her son sit on the IT. That's treason, bitch. Those D stans also keep saying that MMD was such a villain that she killed her baby but if you look closely at the text, MMD only "admitted" she killed Rhaego after Dany has accused her of doing so. Why would MMD do that? To twist the knife into Dany's heart just like how Tyrion admitted to killing Joffrey to Jamie. Dany also planned to kill an innocent person in exchange for Drogo's life so...

She's so fickle I believe she'd have ordered the death of children over 14 if she had eaten 14 berries that day. There's no way she thinks one should denounce slavery when they're over 12 years old, right? If they don't, they deserve to be killed. By that logic, she should be slitting her own wrist. She had no problem using Drogo's, Xaro's, and Illyrio's slaves at age 13 to 15. If there was a "liberator" doing a massive slave revolt while she was in Qarth, she would(should) have been killed too by association.

OTP: Blackmadhi is so good for me. I can also get behind Skyemadhi, and could even potentially see... idk what it's called. xKlavier. You know the one. It intrigues me as a concept, I would have to explore it further. Also, also, the one where Ema is dating Nahyuta and Maya but Nahyuta and Maya are just silly pals by @u3pxx. I think that's nice.

nOTP: Idk who they even get shipped with outside of those. I know in the Japanese version Apollo and Nahyuta are stated to be childhood friends rather than siblings but I don't know the rest of the context through out the game so I can't really say one way or the other, but in the English version this ship would definitely squick me, however I'm not sure how many/if any people who have played only the English version actually ship this, I've only seen it from people who have played the Japanese version.

Random headcanon: This right here. And also they take learning American slang very seriously, and then also British slang to figure out what Blackquill is saying. Except they learned the really old stuff too and part of their self imposed homework was watching Twitch streamers and now they're really into mcyt. This is going to be so funny when my own post crosses my dash and is filtered out for having mcyt in it (I don't dislike it, I'm just not interested and the posts tend to be long so I can scroll past quicker like this.)

Unpopular opinion: I don't even know. Apparently liking them? I mean if you take them as they are in canon, I mean being and active participant in everything that was going is, uh... bad. But I don't really treat anything from 5+6 as strictly canon anyway so it doesn't matter.

Assuming this is going by when did I first start giving it a try in the RP esque sense?

It'd be a little bit before I started rp'ing tbh. I use to try and fail in creating fanfictions, since I'd have ideas, but I struggled in conveying them in a way that creates a picture/scene/movie through words if ya know what I mean? It use to get me frustrated all the time, but then I discovered RP! Through this means I had a person to help bounce the back and forth with, and having that guidance of knowing what to respond too really helped me develop my skills.

What is your favorite canon muse?

aaaaa if I had to pick just one? I've had him as a muse once upona time, but if there's an all time fav.

It was thanks to ol Yusuke here that I started to get a particular taste/affinity for the brand of muses that I enjoy RPing the most. They all have that underlying current of a golden heart, despite how rough around the edges they could be, and not just in your broody fashion either. Explosive, hot headed, prone to mistakes, but at the end of the day just had that kind of sway that could really pull a person in.

Not to mention the mouth full of wit he had on him always had me cracking up, back then and especially in the now. He truly does take the crown for my favorite canon muse.

canon compliant answer: purple, but became dark maroon after being stained by constant blood and grime.

personal hc answer: every color, including various styles (bows, bandanas, harnesses, etc) due to having collected an impressive array from the strays and dogs he has defeated. he needs the substantial amount due to having a near constant stream of various claw and fang offerings from his warriors and past victories. he’ll award these collars to cats as medals and it’s an extremely high honor, one of the highest a bloodclanner can receive.

NAH holly’s arc had become so intrinsically linked to the fallout of not having powers and lacking starclan’s blessings that if she had them it would ruin everything interesting about her. also dovewing’s arc and character struggle centered around pressure from having powers via how it affects her life is awesome. basically both my favs would become boring as hell so thank you erins for being too lazy to think of a power for her 🦭 godspeed.

Soooo I went into my bookmarks for this babes. Tbh I think for Sniper ships there are only the three I personally believe (SpeedingBullet, Bushmedicine, and SwordVan) that have such like obvious it would be these ones picks.

The problem is the most kudos fic for each isn't really the best like intro fic for each? So I've attached the best intro rec for my sniper ships (sorry to totally disregard your prompt 😂).

These are the fics that made me consider these ships as real ideas and not just crack fun!

For SpeedingBullet, I'd say it's Golden Brown by Ali_Ker or Late is Better Than Never by meow_wow. Odd for how much I love cross faction Sniper x Scout that both of those are Red only.

For BloodySuit tho I have offerings! Cross faction wise I'd say Crazy But It's True by AnnetheCatDetective and/or What's a Little Hug Between Enemies by PunmasterExtraordinare (the characterization of this is On Point!). And then the best same team one would be Crossing Paths by the_writing_owl for sure.

Bushmedicine is hands down duh the series Thou Giveth Fever by flamingokid (I sit and wait patiently for the final installment - it shall merc me). Since I've given multiple for the others I'll do the same here by including the other single story that started me shipping it Heatstroke by Europeanvamp.

My go to writer for Trucks 'n Vans is demonfox38 hands down. Not overtly shippy but if you needed fics that just oozed the pair being paired it's theirs. Best one (fav for TF2 as a fandom across the board too so if you haven't read it Go. Do!) is called Save State. If I had to pick one NOT by them and more like in your face in love it would be Just fadin' out these talkers 'cause now all I want is you by blelbinems.

Swordvan top kudos that's just about them is also the top most like fic for them, The Plaid of the Mundys by Salainen. To do two that I've been I'll throw in Five Habits (blah, blah it's a long title here) by RocksCanFly too.

American Aviators is tied for it. Another Day, Another Dime by phantomuser1967 or Close Call by RayClubs.

Got a Vegemite Sandwich pick too which is Seasons by RayClubs (look at you boo, didn't even realize that lol).

And lastly a SniperX2 fic to round out the post would be Crosshairs by tantarted.

Three Ships:

Swanqueen

Regina and Emma were directly responsible for 13 year old me being comfortable admitting I liked girls. Regina Mills has been at the center of who I am for over a decade, and I don’t think I’ll ever let her go. These two are part of me, and I love them so much. Plus me and Emma share a birthday, and the show came out the day after my 13th birthday so it basically belonged to me (in my adolescent brain). They also are responsible for making me become obsessed with the enemies to friends to lovers dynamic haha (I am mentally unwell)

Mumbroom

This is my biggest ship for The Worst Witch 2017 fandom, I absolutely ADORE Hecate and I love her with Julie more than anything!!! It’s not as popular as some other ships in the fandom, but I kind of like that it’s just me and a few other people who ship it tbh. I like the dynamic of a witch dating a non magical, and I love mumbroom specifically because while Julie is Mildred’s actual mom, Hecate sort of becomes Mildred’s school mom while Millie attends Cackles Academy.

Mystrade

I think this ship started out as a bit of a crack ship??? Not just for me, but for the whole BBC Sherlock fandom really. But it very quickly became just as real as johnlock (Sherlock x John) and even though it was never quite as popular, is still my favourite BBC Sherlock ship. Mycroft has always been my fav character from the show, and I think he deserves happiness! Plus Greg is one of the most wholesome characters in the entire show, and even though he has very little scene interaction with Mycroft, they still somehow make so much sense.

First ship: Swanqueen & Snamione (these happened basically simultaneously). Is snamione embarrassing? Yes. Moving on now thanks

Last song: Bringin’ Back Christmas by Ryan Reynolds from the new movie musical Spirited 🫢 guys this is so embarrassing I’m sorry… I actually really enjoyed this movie tho💔

Last movie: Thunder Force (2021) with Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer!!! It’s so sososo good btw, I’ve seen it a bunch of times lol. I watched it a couple days ago with my mom, it’s such a funny movie! I’ve also watched The Addams Family & Addams Family Values in the last week, but those are total classics that I’ve also seen a million times before lol. I love movies!

Currently reading: The Ministry of Unladylike Activity by Robin Stevens! It’s not as good as the Murder Most Unladylike series but it’s still a good addition to the world she’s built in her previous series.

Currently watching: Emergence. I watched it when it first started airing on tv in 2019, but I’m rewatching it with my aunt :) I love you Allison Tolman!!!

How I Feel About This Character:

Candace: P obvious but I love her to pieces. I think she's been misunderstood by a lot of the fandom and if you don't like her, you're wrong. I really relate to her as an older sister, and as someone who genuinely feels at times like she's not good enough for the people around her.

Jeremy: Only blonde boy I respect /j. No but as a character he's such a sweetheart, and I really believe he loves Candace with all his heart. Also Mitchell Musso as his VA? Could not have done better tbh.

Stacy: My underrated fav, I would die for her. She is my favorite recurring side character, I love her dynamics with literally every single character, and I will forever be salty at the fact that she was not utilized more in the show overall.

Romantic Ships:

Candace: Canderemy is the number one, but Candace/Stacy and Candace/Vanessa are close second and thirds. Also am fond of Candace/Stacy/Jeremy where Jeremy and Stacy are for the most part platonic but just both dating Candace and very chill with it.

Jeremy: I really only ship him with Candace tbh. We don't really see enough of his friends to see any potential chemistry between them.

Stacy: Actually love her and Coltrane together, I think they're cute. And obviously as a secondary I ship her and Candace. I also think she and Jenny would be a cute couple, but like...a casual relationship.

Brotp:

Candace: Candace and Stacy, full stop. But if we're not talking the other teens, I love??? Her and Buford's relationship, I think it's hilarious. She def considers him a little brother but like. Significantly more obnoxious than her own (in a loving way)

Jeremy: Jeremy and Stacy, brotp for life. I LOVE their stupid little scene in CATU in the fuckin Slushy Dawg truck like come on

Stacy: See above lol (but also her relationship with Phineas and Ferb, 10/10)

Unpopular Opinion:

Candace: I like the idea of her becoming a lawyer. I know a lot of people rejected it because it came from AYA (ew), but it just makes??? So much sense for her character. Like trying to prove people wrong, finding evidence, research??? It's just right up her alley, it WORKS.

Jeremy: I like Jeremy and Candace together. I'm like...stunned that's an unpopular opinion in parts of the fandom, but I genuinely think he's a great boyfriend and that he and Candace have the healthiest relationship in the whole show (and one of the healthiest across all media tbh). I don't understand the people who don't like him, I really don't.

Stacy: Stacy is a more fleshed out and well rounded than almost any other recurring character in the show and the people who think she isn't haven't paid attention.

One Thing I Wish Had Happened:

Candace: I kind of wish, just once, she had been able to show her mom something the boys did (and not have it backfire on any of the kids). It's something that I think would have brought a little bit of closure to the show as a whole, and I really think Candace deserved to be believed after all that time. She also deserved an apology from her mom for all the things she said about her tbh.

Jeremy: I wish we could have seen his relationship with his band members more. I know he's obviously not one of the main characters, so we got to see him through Candace more often than not, but it still would have been fun to have a Jeremy-centric episode in a similar way we did to Stacy.

Stacy: I mean.....we've heard me rant about the Perry and Stacy plot more than I'm sure anyone wants to admit, so I'll pick a different one lol. But I wish we had gotten to see more of her heritage in the show. There were small little bits thrown in, like her eating with chopsticks, but it would have been nice to see Stacy take Candace and the boys to like...idk a cultural Japanese event in town or something. Very plausible within the realm of the show. And it would have made up for the.....hmm. the song in SBTY that like...looking back on is p cringe.
