@thejunesky I finally bought some sheets & despite paying a hefty price for them I nonetheless had to remove !!black!! tags from the white & pink and white & green striped pillowcases. Two tags on each of 8 cases, plainly visible when the case was filled! I thought of you today, my fellow soldier in the war against bad, as I pried open the seams, flung the tags into the bin with great prejudice, and re-sewed the edge of the cases.

#these are nice linen pillowcases #there is no excuse for this #plus if the point was branding/advertising then it backfired #I might have left a lighter-colored tag (at least for a while)#but no way am I leaving a black tag on what's basically a white pillowcase #one might have thought that paying £60 for a pair of pillowcases #would mean that they arrived in a state one was happy to use #but one would be wrong and yet again have expected too much from the consumer experience
