stupid pet peeve is when people are clearly basing their mr knightley on 2020 johnny flynn and then they characterise him as unfashionable WHICH. UM . like just bc he's not in london styles does not mean he is unfashionable he's wearing the very HEIGHT of country styles (which considering he is a country gentleman it would be ridiculous if he was running around in illsuited town fashions shows more than fashion it shows taste!) don't worry mr knightley i saw your buckskin boots. i saw your fine wool jackets and yellow overcoat.
