okay in light of liam''s passing i wanna talk about all the highlights one direction had on my childhood:

I had a what makes you beautiful poster with them all crowded in on each other and i would kiss like each of them like at least once daily

there videos on youtube made me laugh when a lot of others coulddn't, it was my escape and thats why humor has become such a big part of me, but also bc everyone else cant cope and have to do it through tramua to but whatever im ranting

but like id sit in the corner of the living with a laptop and headphones giggling to my self and whenever louis talked (he was my fav when i was little) and whenever he made carrot jokes even though i didnt know what it meant i thought it was funny anyway bc i loved louis and if he talked i laughed

i soooooooo sang to my one direction toothbrush every morning!

I also had earbuds that were black and pink, and i used them until i broke them!

oh i had harry and niall dolls, and my mom had actually just found them in storage and gave them to me so it brings back so many memories mostly of making my barbies bang the one direction members but its all good!

i also loved loved playing school, so i set up one direction cups up for my 'students' there is proof but i don't wanna show my face sooo sorry lmao

there is also one of me laying in my parents bed with my baby blankie (which i still sleep with) and the scholastic one direction book i got at the book fair, just fast asleep holding my blankie and my one direction book lmao!

i also got into them because of my older sister which was more age apporiate than my like 6/7 year old self but literally became soooo obsessive over them, i also had pillows, blankets.

and yes i was spoiled but its also what i asked for like two years straight and a collection items over the years. i even had like a little guitar pillow with their faces on

i still have a raggity beach towel with their faces on it its just rlly fucking old and like those cheap kid ones...so its tiny

and how i found them again in high school, healing a apart of my childhood trauma, and this time i actually stayed around long enough to listen to all their music, its what helped me through a really tough time and i just remember getting into painting, which i love, and just listening to their music on repeat...

anyway thats all i got for now, if yall wanna continue the trend, this could be something happy to talk about in light of something that is really hard to process for me, but for other fans too. i can't imagine what the family and friends are going through, this just feels like it really wasn't supposed to happen you know?

Honoring Liam Payne: A memorial across time and space

As we continue to process the heartbreaking news of Liam’s passing, I’ve created this tumblr as a space where we can come together and remember him.

Several of you, including some anons, suggested the idea of holding an online memorial, especially for those who can’t attend the services being held in various cities. I believe this is a beautiful way to honor him and support one another.

I’ll be posting more details on Monday, as it’s quite late now and I’ll be travelling tomorrow to attend one of the memorials. But I wanted to get this blog up and running to share a date and a way for us to contribute.

We’ll be holding the online memorial on October 29th. The time doesn’t matter — just join in whenever it’s October 29th where you are, so everyone can participate in their own time. What can you share?

Out of all of the people The Ghost King Phantom expected to relate to, it definitely wasn’t the scrawny red headed photographer of the Daily Planet. Jimmy Olsen has gotten so many temporary superpowers over his time being Superman’s friend. Hell, he once gained a 4th dimensional being’s reality warping abilities when he was given said dimensional being’s powers during a fight. Sure there’s a dozen or so heroes with the same amount of powers he has, but none as suddenly granted to them as a all powerful god that can relate to a teenager.

The stories about what Liam and 1D mean to each person, the respectful listening and space for everyone, kindness, tears, joy and absolute delight in talking for hours about every little detail.

The 1D Rainbow Direction spirit is more present than I thought. Sometimes when you look at social media it seems like that couldn't be possible.

I can't even explain it other than this experience made me the most hopeful I've felt about the future of the fandom in a long while.
