Also due to me waking up at about 3 AM and my bed creaking a bit too much for me to go to sleep and getting paranoid the thing would fall down, I've essentially created an OC for Transformers One in my musings

Technically they go by the name Flatline, but that's only because they're a Decepticon medic and he's the only non-Knock Out one that I know of, and I don't think Knock Out would be part of the former Elite Guard. But I also have no clue if any of this is accurate to his character, it's just the name I latched on to. So basically an OC at this point I think

Anyways, so as mentioned, he's basically the Elite Guard's medic. He was the field medic that came with them when they went to go help the Primes, and so is stuck up on the surface with them

He's basically gone crazy because he has incredibly limited medical materials to work with, having to essentially make do with things that aren't medical equipment or junk they get from raiding the odd disposal trains. He's had to lose or offline a lot of friends, and the stress of the situation and working with essentially nothing for 50 cycles has gotten to him

This situation only gets worse after the movie when their base gets destroyed by Sentinel's forces, and now he's stuck without what little he had and they're now even more homeless than before, and he's personally pissed at the new Prime for the whole situation. His anger might be quelled if Optimus at least bothered to give them medical supplies (given the movie ends literally right after their banishment, Optimus just hasn't thought about that yet)

He can do his job fine enough, he's practically a miracle doctor given the circumstances, and he can be relatively normal if there's no medical emergency. But he is very high strung and barely keeping himself together, so don't argue with him during an emergency and definitely don't complain about his handiwork, or where replacement parts came from

Due to being too stressed to care, and in previous days patching up the Thirteen if need be, he has absolutely no fear of authority or more powerful bots if they are getting in the way of his job

He's also got optical flare like Megatron because of his whole situation. Which my brain has basically also made a thing that essentially happens when a bot is overstressed/particularly volatile, and maybe just sticks around if it goes on too long

He might have a soft spot for Megatron, but mostly because he knows that Megatron is young and might also be aware he used to be cogless, so he just feels sorry for the young bot. If Megatron starts causing too many problems for the guy, he might grow resentful of him. He also is of the opinion Megatron shouldn't be leading because he's too young

And uh yeah, that's this guy, I just wanted to share. Whenever I get around to writing the next part of that fanfic, this is probably the medic you're going to see. Still probably operating under the name Flatline, but he's sort of his own thing
