Whew, after I got some of the negative out of my system, here's a version where it's all positivity bby. Thank you as well for enabling me.

21 -- Your Current RPC

I'm quite happy to say that my neck of the woods, including the Tales of RPC as a whole, has been a really positive experience! 99% of the folks I've interacted with have been an absolute joy for the close to 9 years I've been around on Tumblr. I remember when I was in a REALLY bad spot (like I was on the floor low) a good few years ago, I was sure everyone would abandon me cause I'll even admit I was an unpleasant bitter pill.

But you know what? I had folks who stuck around to support me. Heck, I had strangers from the circle reach out to try and support me through it. And by the end, I came out of it someone I'm proud of and hope those who're still in my corner feel the same. So to all of y'all following me, especially you golden oldies, I appreciate y'all for making this 2014 Tumblr Old Fart still love being here!

7 -- DNIs in Rules (Pt. 2)

After going off the last post, you might wonder: what do I think a good DNI looks like? My version is three things: clear, concise, and respectful.

I.E. say you're uncomfortable with RPing with live action properties (AKA YouTubes or IRL Actors), if your DNI says, "I won't RP with Characters/Face Claims with actors/real people"? Fair enough! There's no confusion, you're not demeaning those who do RP IRL people, it's all good. As long as you set the line and respect not everyone conforms to that line, I think your DNI's good to go!

17 -- Fanon Interpretations (Pt. 2)

For fun, allow me to share a fanon interpretation I read once that I found was a real "My world has changed and I am now an enlightened being".

There was a time I struggled with how to write post-Bad End Julius. I've always had a clear sense of how I wanted to do Ludger (that's the blog's premise and all) but when I picked up Julius, I was like a dog without a horse. However, when I remembered when I wrote with Mii/oncehymned who interpreted him as having since just given up to Ludger's whims, suddenly I was a prophet who received a divine vision.

From there, my version of Bad End Julius' character just all clicked. Because at this point, Julius got what he wanted: his little brother proves Julius is what matters and he can live as a normal man (however limited his time is). Thus yeah, I can absolutely see him finally accepting he's the follower and not the leader in their relationship. And given how much he wanted to direct the narrative? I think it'd bother him.

Mii, wherever you moved after your Julius blog, I owe my Bad End version to you. You were the genius of my time.

Oh how much Ludger wished the government would stop dancing and just execute him already. They had his confession, the splashes of blood on his clothes included the Rieze Maxian’s king, his former friends likely testified that they saw him do it... what else did they need to decide when to kill him? And if he tried killing himself on his own account, no doubt they’d try and stop him (although finding a way to do that  with heavy cuffs and leg chains would be its own impossible task).

Caught up in his thoughts, Ludger thought he heard the faint sound of footsteps from the PA. Was it worth his time to check? Probably not, but Ludger found the flimsy will to roll off the floor and check the glass wall. It-- I-It was...--

“Nii-san!!” Ludger immediately tried to run towards the wall, stopped just short by the chains attached to his legs. Figures they’d make them just short enough to keep him from reaching any of the walls; he’d mostly stayed lying in the middle of the room so the chain’s length never really crossed his mind before. When he backed away just enough to be able to stand properly, Nii-san greeted his eyes again. “Nii-san, I...”

“...You’re not real, are you?”

Because he couldn’t be. If Kresniks could survive becoming a Soul Bridge, Nii-san wouldn’t have thought to keep this a secret from his if his resolve wasn’t there. This was an elaborate joke his mind was playing on him to break him even further. The person known as Julius Will Kresnik was long dead, and Ludger was supposed to see him again after his execution.

This had to be a joke. He--it--couldn’t be real. Ludger refused to let his heart be trampled over by his own stupid decisions again.

My muse is being held in solitary confinement and hasn’t seen anyone for weeks. Send ⚠ to find them. || @oncehymned

AU where Lara didn’t die from the shock of seeing Ludger kill everyone, but because she was involved in the battle. Victor just blanked it out of his memory because no that wasn’t supposed to happen he just wanted to be able to live with them–

–I mean what. Victor’s already an unreliable as hell narrator considering it sounds like even 8 years later he’s working really hard to rationalize all their deaths to himself– it’s their faults they deserved it– sooo… ouoa;;;;
