Dear School Girl,

that's all you ended up being to me, just another girl at school. We were once so close. At one time I would have considered you to be my best friend. But then life happened. We went into junior high and you got new friends. You became popular, and I became a chameleon. Sure, a few people knew my name, but I was never invited to things. People never wanted to hang out with me. I guess I was fine with it for the most part. I finally was saved, and then I had my youth group, so I wasn't completely alone. I just ended up being that weird girl at school who sat in the corner of the room with a book. I was fine with that. What really hurt was when you pretended like you never knew me. Like we were never friends. That was what really hurt.
