my small but constantly growing collection of mostly neolithic replicas ^_^
#my pottery#pottery#replica#neolithic#earthenware#my pic#prehistoric pottery#on the right you can see my attenpt at using slip. i made orange slip from a very fine unfired pottery that my teacher had laying around#and im obsessed. its much cooler than just polishing with a stone. the surface becomes very smooth and shiny and pleasant to touch - while#earthenware is not particularly pleasant (call me autistic but i dislike some types of pottery#they do not feel nice when i touch them)#once i learn more about using slips i will try to recreate cucuteni trypillian pottery#but their ornaments are very elaborate and geometric and unfortunately i dont feel to confident woth things that require me to draw...#synetric patterns.#we will see#archaeology#stuff i made
