Todaybor day was Plymouth pride, first pride I've been to since Nashville 2019 (I think) when I was still living stateside. I absolutely killed my feet wearing new boots and don't regret it.

My sister fursuited up with her gf, I got a new rainbow frog pin for the frog bag, and I managed to get a sunburnt heart on my hand thanks to a little pride sticker.

We didn't do super much there but going with friends made it super fun, next year I'm probably gonna dress super slutty.

The collaboration that clicked first and counted most was that between Chevy and Lorne. Together they, and to a lesser extent O'Donoghue, shaped, edited, and polished the work of the less experienced writers, and it was their writing that dominated the show, especially in the first half of the season. It was always Chevy and Lorne who would come into the office exulting about the great new sketch they'd been up all night writing. i dont really need spoilers because i reread this novel religiously like every week to prepare my hearts well and also followed the productions with its filming queues so i actually saw these behinds being posted in real time when they were filming 😅 but thank you so much for the link that's really kind of you. ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

bonus fun fact about that filming queue - q22: they filmed those scenes on the same day that they filmed the wrapping party in ep 3 where ming gets jealous about sol and joe hugging and drags him to the bathroom to kiss him.

so far the series has been going exactly in the pacing theory i've had since two weeks ago. for next ep, my guess is that it ends at chapter 94 (but you're absolutely right that the possibility of it ending at chapter 92 is high as well). my stand-in has a tendency to end on an emotional high so i'm just really basing my prediction on what the audiodrama does thooooo so take my guesses with a grain of salt ╮⁠(⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)⁠╭

I have seen the new Layton trailer and I have thoughts!

It’s interesting that they made a point to say that in this American town Layton is just an anonymous gentlemen while Luke has been solving mysteries and growing his reputation as a detective. Makes me wonder how that will affect their dynamic. On one hand I think Layton would be happy to see Luke has thrived on his own but I also think Layton will feel sad that he missed out on watching Luke grow up.

Will Layton feel oddly out of sorts because he’s so used to being well known? Or will he revel in the anonymity that this town brings? Will Layton wonder why Luke invited him since he seems to already have a handle on solving mysteries?

The website character portrait has new things to say about the characters. On Luke’s side it says he has become a detective. On Layton’s side… it says he has been acting on his own. Does this mean that Layton hasn’t done much of anything since the ending of Unwound Future? I mean it definitely makes sense because the ending of Unwound Future could naturally have left him depressed- what if that’s partly why Luke invited him to come solve a mystery in America? What if Luke just wanted see how Layton is holding up and to be there for him if needed? It probably won’t be that dark but that would be an interesting story right? Oh my heart!

I don’t think this game retcons Kat’s story. This game takes place one year after Unwound Future. Kat’s adventure takes place years after. I have yet to see the whole anime so I don’t know if Layton says he hasn’t seen Luke since Unwound Future but if so that might be the only detail that’s changed.

Can we have a cameo from Phoenix Wright? Come on, that’d be perfect!
