~BOG GOD SKULL FUN FACTS~
His favourite food is honeycakes. He hasn't had them in a while.
Sometimes, when he isn't patrolling or sleeping in his den, he likes to find a deep section of water in his marsh and just... wallow.
Though he doesn't like people, he does like the sound of talking.
Birds will occasionally nest in his antlers. When they do, he tends to settle down for a little while, until the chicks fledge. It's nice to have the company.
The plants that grow on his body are small, and seem plain, but upon closer inspection they are ancient species that are have often been long extinct. Little ferns and patches of moss, the occasional tiny flower. Leaves that haven't seen the sky in eons.
He sneezes when he's excited
Skull will avoid the husks of old trees, that scatter the dead bog. It's one of the few ways a hunted human might evade him. The dead trees bring back painful memories of his old home- he can't bring himself to knock them down, but he can't bring himself to look too long either. Tuck yourself close enough to a dead tree while being chased, and he might just leave you be.
You can actually tell how Skull feels about you based on the insects you encounter in the bog. Mosquitoes and gadflies indicate the simmering hate he generally feels for all humans. Non-stinging gnats- neutral feelings, you're a bit better than the others. Dragonflies and crickets... hey, he might have started to actually like you. 'Pretty' insects near you, like damselflies, butterflies and beetles? Woah, you definitely got yourself an admirer, he's showing off. And if any of them land on you that's a sure sign he wants your attention. ... If you're encountering birds, small mammals, or amphibians... be careful. You have a husband now.
Now... as for wooing him...
He's shy, when he catches feelings. He can look a bit spooky, hiding nearby in the fog... but try to remember, he's hiding, not hunting. You're a pretty human and it makes him nervous.
Though nothing planted by human hands can survive on his land, he'll still like it if you do try to plant something. It soothes his ancient anger, somewhat, to see that there are humans who are nothing like their ancestors. Attempting to plant things is a good way to gain his affections.
If you've already tried planting something, and it dies, you might find other things growing in the dead plant's place. Boggy flowers and shrubs, well suited to the area... thriving in the spot you made.
(He put those there. The prettier the plant, the more he likes you.)
A better way to gain his affections, though, is food offerings. Leave them anywhere in the bog, he'll find them. Remember, his favourite is honeycakes- though he likes anything baked, soft or sweet. If you're baking for him, it's best to stick to older and simpler recipes; newer looking things might confuse him.
Try singing, while you walk through the bog. Or just talk to yourself. As mentioned before, he likes the sounds of people, and he likes the sound of a pretty human singing even more.
Don't turn around, if you hear him following you from a distance. He's just taken an interest. Keep walking- there's a reason he's hanging back.
It's okay to pick up the pace if you're nervous, but don't run. It hurts his feelings.
Showing appreciation for his bog will woo him, too. Enthusiasm about the plants and animals is especially effective. If you can find beauty in such a 'horrible' thing, he might welcome you into parts of his home nobody has ever seen before.
... He can get childish, when in love. Age doesn't necessarily equal wisdom. Try not to travel through the bog with other people, he gets jealous and cranky. Your friends will be swatting away clouds of aggressive flies.

It had been a few weeks since Danielle walked out the door—14 weeks to be exact.
Y/N had never felt more alone in her life. The only person who treated her like she was everything was gone. All because she couldn't return the same effort.
Y/N wasn't perfect per se, but that's what Danielle loved about her. Dani didn't care whether Y/N had flaws or not. She loved her regardless. Dani did everything to show that she cared and loved her, only to be met with an almost dismissive response.
Y/N laid in her bed. The same bed that she and Dani used to lie in. They shared many countless warm nights cuddling under the sheets. Now, all Y/N felt while lying on the bed was regret and guilt. The empty space beside her was a constant reminder of what she lost.

Y/N was under the comforts of her blankets with Danielle. They were pressed up against each other, watching tiktok videos on Y/N's phone. Y/N had her arm around Danielle's shoulder as the latter rested against her. It was winter during this time of the year.
Danielle's laughed filled the room as she watched a video of cats playing around. Y/N was thinking about something else when suddenly,
"Y/N! They look so cute, don't they? Do you think we can get one in the future?"
"Hm? Yeah, it's whatever."
Y/N cursed herself. She only said empty words. She never acted upon anything that left her mouth. Not with Danielle, at least.
Y/N sat in the driver seat of her car. She briefly glanced at the passenger seat before feeling her heart clench. She knew that spot only belonged to one person...
The silence was too loud to bear for Y/N, so she decided to tune up the radio. As if on cue, a familiar song played. It was Y/N and Danielle's song. The one they always played whenever they're in the car. Y/N hasn't actually listened to it after the breakup. The song kept on playing; Let Her Go ‐ Passenger.
It was like the universe was mocking her. The lyrics of the song hit too close to home. It was a reminder that she only cherished Danielle when she's gone...

Y/N was driving through the empty roads. The city was still chaotic as ever, but less quiet at this time. It's currently 11 pm as they cruised through. Danielle played the same song and sang along. Y/N also sang a bit of the song, choosing to focus on the road more.
"I love this song so much! It's just overall amazing, you know?"
Danielle exclaimed with excitement. Her smile was infectious, and Yuen felt a smile creep up on her face as well.
"Yeah, It's cool."
How can Y/N forget? Every time she leaves the house, she can't help but wish for Danielle to be back. The breakup was a memory that she constantly remembered. She wanted to move past it, but she couldn't. Not when she failed Danielle...

Y/N was too frozen to respond. The tension was so thick that you could practically cut it with a knife. A minute passed... The silence was too much. Just as Y/N opened her mouth to speak, the sound of the door closing snapped her out of her trance.

Y/N waited for her to come back. Danielle only returned after a day or so, but with news that changed everything.
"We're over."
The only line Y/N managed to process. Right then and there, she regretted how she didn't do better.
Y/N parked her car near the park. She got out of the vehicle and took a walk around the park. She noticed a vendor selling flowers. A pang of guilt hit her. She never bought Danielle flowers unless Y/N had a reason. Y/N always said that "they're gonna die anyway. What's the point?"

Y/N and Dani roamed the streets as they held hands. Danielle seemed to see many couples doing the same and buying flowers for one another. Dani tugged on Y/N's sleeves to which Y/N looked at Danielle.
"Yeah?"
"Can you buy me flowers?"
"Why would you want flowers? They'll just die anyway."
Danielle had a sad look that day, but Y/N failed to notice it and focused on something else instead.
As Y/N strolled the familiar streets of Seoul, she saw a figure that she knew all too well. Just a glance at the person's hair, she knew who it was. It was Danielle, with... a girl?
Y/N decided to go after them. She didn't even know why, but she had to. She wanted to talk to Danielle, even if this will be the last of it.

Y/N managed to catch up to the couple and tapped Danielle's shoulder. The bright eyes suddenly lowered once it met Y/N's.
Y/N immediately spoke. Her tone rushed but soft enough.
"Dani, can we please talk? Just for a quick second?"
Danielle didn't know what came over her, but here they are. Alone outside the shop that Haerin was in.
"Look, I'm really sorry. I was wrong for how I treated you. You deserved the world, but I was too caught up in space to even notice all your efforts. You're a strong woman, and I regret every single thing I did to make you leave. I love you a lot... although it's too late to say this."
Y/N took a deep breath and continued. Her gaze softened and stared at Danielle. Y/N was able to see her up close again. The features that Danielle had... She memorized it already.
"I hope she buys you flowers, holds your hand, give you all her hours when she has the chance... Take you to every party, because I know you love to dance... I want her to treat you like I should've when I was yours."

Y/N watched as the lovers walked away. She felt her heart clench. She would give everything to turn back time and treat Danielle like she deserved, but that's impossible. She just sighed and whispered under her breath.
"When I was yours..."

Another oc story with Alexei & Quicksilver, this one's unrelated to the multi-parter I have going, happening a few months after those events. I might connect these someday if I ever get that far

"Quizzy?" The young stallion perked his ears. "You're a Warrior right? I don't think I've ever seen you with them though," I continued. He didn't seem too pleased with that question, simply kept silent. I didn't push it, he seemed tired after today's hike.
We had come back home to Dundull in order to round up supplies and run some errands before winter. I could smell the salty sea air seeping in through the stable doors, a nostalgic smell. The owner of this place was an old friend of my mother, and let us stay in the stable if we happened to be in town. Having contacts pays off in the long run, and at least on a dry day it was better to sleep here with Quicksilver than to go home.
"I suppose I am", my friend groaned, bringing me back from my thoughts, "Not that any of them would call me that". I was about to ask what he meant but he kept talking: "I was raised there, on the plains in the mountains. My mother was the quiet sort, and while she was with the herd in order to teach me their ways, once I was old enough she went back to the marshes I was born in and hasn't been with the Warriors since. And I never knew my father at all", he had a strange longing in his voice, pausing a while after every sentence. "I was smaller than all the other foals, even those months younger than me. Never got to hear the end of that", Quicksilver sighed and chuckled a little, "But no matter how hard I trained they never took me seriously. Most of them are shallow like that. So I ran away and not long after, I found you". "You mean I found you", I smirked at him. "hmm no, I clearly remember you crying about getting lost in the woods", he snapped back smugly. I simply laughed.
He was right, when we met I had gone exploring further than I should have been. It was a misty evening and the woods had seemed extra mysterious, and I was a little rascal with no sense of danger and a heart set on adventure. It wasn't long past the ranger outpost until I couldn't find my way back anymore. As the night started falling and panic finally kicked in, I suddenly found myself crouched against a boulder with a curious yearling sniffing my face. I still remembered the utter shock when I realized I could understand him perfectly, something I had only heard in old druid tales. I had been around horses my entire life but I had never seen anything like him before, so wildly curious and clever. I don't think Quicksilver had ever seen a human before that, he didn't spook at all, simply inspected me. He hadn't learned to be afraid. Even when I reached for him he only sniffed my hand before leaning into it. Teary eyed, I told him I was lost and scared.
After that, the memories get hazy. He led me out of the woods and back home safely, and my mom was surprised and a little displeased that I had come home so late, not to mention bringing a strange horse back from the woods. After somehow convincing her that I didn't steal Quicksilver, she miraculously let him sleep in the paddock.
"Now your turn, why do you never go back home?" Quizzy inquired, bringing me back to earth. I sighed deeply, it was a tough question. "Well, I guess it doesn't really feel like home, more like a cage. My mom never really understood me or why I wanted to be out all the time", I finally answered. I looked out of the window, the moon casting it's pale glow through the dusty glass. "I do miss Apollo and Jam from time to time", I sighed. "We should go see them some day", Quicksilver mumbled into the straw, "They're better company than the boneheads for sure." "Maybe tomorrow", I said and yawned, "Goodnight buddy." Quicksilver looked comfortable laying in the soft straw. I have him a couple pets on the shoulder, then got up and climbed onto the hayloft.

I go to see my favorite picnic table that resides deep in the woods off of a walking trail that hasn't been cleared since a hurricane a few years back. It has a tree growing in the middle of it and because of the hurricane, it's difficult to get to. The table sits in the middle of the woods above a Floridian swampland where boardwalks stretch their hands to touch it.
The boardwalks have been damaged by fallen trees that have broken many of the barricades and railings; I am careful to not fall into the murky waters below. There are spiders everywhere and the path has been so overgrown that I slide around with them. I try to not get spiders and webs in my hair. It's wise to walk with a spider stick. I twirl it about.
A twinge of panic runs through me when I see the table. That's been happening a lot lately, but not for the same reasons. I found where we carved our initials in the table; it was faded and nearly unseen, and I contemplated re-etching them there but I didn't. There were other initials there too. It reminded me of one of my favorite photos that an old classmate in an art class posted at this table. I think of you and I think of them when I am there. I sit for a while.
It's hot and the humidity runs down my face in thick beads jumping off from my chin. Gnats swarm in congested circles above water so dark it looks black. The swamp bubbles and the sun shines through the breaks in the trees above. I peer down the holes in the boardwalk and see the water below. There is so much life here.
The marsh is overgrown and there are fungi on the fallen trees resting about the boardwalk; they have been there for a while. The ferns are my favorite, the vast variations seem to twinkle around the tree roots that are submerged in the deep. They are soft when I reach out to touch them.
There are two dragonflies that are seeming to follow me around the path as I weave under and above the obstructions -- I think they are cheering me on. It feels like this is where I should be.
I don't really want to leave for I know this will be the last time I'm here. I won't visit with you again and my classmate isn't even in the country anymore. I don't know if anyone else knows about this table abandoned in the swamplands. It feels special because of its hidden nature. Mystical even. I sit for a little bit longer.
I consider swiping away at the leaves that are scattered about the table, but leave it untouched as it remains part of the earth. I want it to hold the same reverence I give it.
There is one fallen tree that stretches directly towards the table. Its baren branches look like thin crooked fingers trying to desperately grasp where the table meets the boardwalk. Everything in the woods is pointed towards the table. Three overgrown boardwalk paths merge in the center where the table sits planted by the tree growing from the middle of it. Mystical. But this time I get up to leave. I've been here enough.
I'm less worried about the spiders this time but when I dipped below a fallen tree, it grasped at my back with sharp spindles that draw blood. It reminds me that the past three times I've gone to explore I've gained a new scar.
My back stings as sweat and plant matter find its way into exposed life. I'm tired of ducking and weaving under branches and avoiding spiders but I finally make it out of the woods with weight removed from my shoulders. Maybe that's what the fallen tree grabbed.

He saw how you laughed it off with the man you accidentally bumped, how it was easy for you to smile and radiate a warm aura. In his eyes you looked pure. Xiao compared himself to you and scowled at the thought that he could never be someone like you. He feels his chest tighten as he gets reminded of his own demons, his past and all of those who he slaughtered with his own hands, the bloodbath forever painted in his memory. Frowning, he sighed and decided to shrug the ugly feeling off. His eyes wandered around, unconsciously trying to look for your familiar aura only to find you gone from the last spot he saw you standing. With nothing else to do, he kept searching until he caught a glimpse of you from a distance near Dihua Marsh, gliding around with Venti as he creates wind currents for both of you to fly on.
'ah, the bard' he thought. You two were having fun and he can tell you're enjoying yourself just by the look of how you laughed. Xiao felt calm watching you simply being you. Even if it's from a distance, a part of him craved for that warmth somewhere close to him. He wondered what it would feel if someone like you would share that to someone as tainted as him. Xiao glowered when he realized that he was longing for a human. He stopped himself from thinking any more than that. There was no need for you to be involved with the likes of him, it would only make him feel worse knowing that he would be of no good to you. He didn't want your pure glow and warmth to fade away because of him. Xiao sighed and decided to walk back in the inn where he would rather rest to keep your memory out of his head. He had known you for quite sometime now, despite it being from a distance it was surprising that he felt like he had met you. It wasn't difficult for him to somehow feel comfortable seeing your presence outside the Inn. He loved the way your clothes would flow against your body, how your skin looks soft under the sunlit sky. You looked ethereal, he simply adores that and is unknowingly thirsty to get a taste of your gentle touch. Despite refusing to involve himself to mortals he still grew a liking to you, making you an exception. He convinced himself that he doesn't have any time to meddle with a human's life yet his thoughts and actions contradicts this. He feels like he's about to lose his mind as scenarios of you and him fill it up. Xiao leaned back to his chair, throwing his head back as he massages the bridge of his nose. He looked like he couldn't bear to think more of you or he'll go insane. It wasn't enough to just simply think of you - he wanted your presence, he wanted it near and he wanted it now.
Xiao growled and glared at the wall. Standing up, he went out of the Inn. He decided to just come get you himself. He realized how long he was lost in his thoughts when he noticed the moonlight outside. He didn't mind it and just continued to venture out in search of your familiar scent and aura, hoping he'll catch a glimpse of you somewhere near. It didn't take long until he saw you close on a cliff just outside the parameters of the Inn, desperately trying to reach out to the violetgrass you were trying to harvest. Xiao stayed hidden in the branches of a tall tree, hesitating and rethinking his actions because he was unsure of how to interact with you. He was worried he would just scare you away since he was, after all, a vigilant yaksha adeptus. He noticed you struggling to take a hold of the particular flower so he decided to take matters in his own hands and to just help you with it. Xiao leaped and swiftly took it as he landed beside you to hand it over. Surprised by how fast everything went by, you stared at the man in front of you, his golden honey eyes glimmered from the soft light of the full moon added by the glow of the Wangshu Inn from a distance made everything perfect. He was breathtaking, you felt your heart pounding as you reached out to take the flower from his hand. You knew who he was, mainly because you would often hang out with Venti to ask about him. There was something about this adepti that made you want to learn more about who he was. People in Liyue says that he rarely shows himself, even during the Lantern Rite Festival you find yourself hoping for him to come out. And now lo and behold, he's right in front of you - the man you have always hoped to meet.
"thank you," you gave him a slight bow to show your gratitude for his help. You were also extremely worried that he might hear the loud beating of your heart because of how quiet the night was. Xiao summoned his primordial jade spear as he tightly held you close, you felt a sharp cold all over your skin as you closed your eyes and the next thing you know, both of you are at where it seems to be like the Wangshu Inn. The view was amazing from Xiao's quarters, you can see Mt. Qingce and Jueyun Karst far in the distance under the night sky. He was standing right beside you, an arm still around your waist and as you're busy admiring the view outside, Xiao was preoccupied studying your features. He thought your hair smelled nice, and that the shape of your body fit right in his arms. It was amazing how he made you feel so comfortable despite just meeting each other.

It was almost as if he was ashamed of himself in which you immediately denied to. "of course not! It's just that I want to be closer to you but I'm afraid I'll make you feel uncomfortable. I really am happy to be here." you tried to reach out to touch him but decided to stop in your tracks, your hand left hanging in the air. A part of you wanted to comfort him, to close that gap between the two of you but at the same time you didn't want to cross his boundaries. Xiao didn't know what to feel, it has been a while since he felt happy and he thought he almost forgot this type of emotion. Steve didn't snap out of his surprise until the door was shut and Y/N yelled, "Go!"
It was then that he put the car into reverse and quickly began to drive backwards down the street while the demogorgon chased after them. Steve quickly reversed into a driveway before pulling out and skidding down the street.
Y/N didn't know what had her doing it, but she found herself staring back at the house and the demogorgon. To her surprise, the demogorgon had stopped short, not passing the boundary of the house as it remained in the street much like Pennywise had done when they saw It yesterday. It was only when they were turning off the road that she noticed the demogorgon walk back into the house and she furrowed her eyebrows, confused as to why it just gave up.

Richie's nose scrunched up in confusion. "How the fuck do you know Mike? And why would you think we look alike you dumbass?" Richie muttered.

Y/N looked around at her friends and furrowed her eyebrows before looking over at Steve, "Where's everyone else?"
Steve glanced at her from the rear view mirror before saying, "What? No 'Hello, Steve. How are you? Thanks for saving my life.' I haven't seen you in two years and the first thing you ask is where the others are?"
Y/N rolled her eyes at the boy, knowing that he was just messing with her. "Hello, Harrington. How have you been? Thank the Lord for your awful driving skills or I would be a demogorgon's dinner right about now," she muttered sarcastically.
Steve made a small face at her and she laughed as she looked at the boy. She couldn't wait for them to get to her house so she could give him a hug. She had missed him a hell of a lot that was for sure.

We snuck into the basement because we weren't quite sure if your parents know about the whole situation or not. When you didn't show up, the kids sent me out to go find you."

Richie frowned, but Y/N kicked him lightly to gain his attention. "This, Rich, is the one and only Steve Harrington. He's practically my brother so don't scare him off, okay?" Y/N asked.
"Steve," Y/N called out. "These are all of my friends. We've got Richie Tozier, Eddie Kaspbrak, Ben Hanscom, Beverly Marsh, Stanley Uris, and Bill Denbrough. We have another friend Mike Hanlon, but he-"
Y/N trailed off and Steve instantly knew what she was talking about, remembering part of what Dustin had been rambling about during the whole seventeen hour drive. Not wanting her to feel like she had to explain, Steve glanced at the kids through his rear view mirror and nodded at them in greeting before his eyes landed on Bill who he noticed was holding Y/N's hand.
"Just your friends?" Steve questioned, his eyes narrowing as he looked to Bill who gave him an awkward and nervous smile.
Y/N nodded her head in response. "Just friends," she assured him despite the ache in her heart from having to say that. The car got really quiet at that as the Losers looked between Y/N and Bill who had let go of each other's hands and were looking away from each other.
Richie let out a gasp that made the others all look at him. "We left our bikes," he groaned as his head fell into his hands.
This small comment instantly eased the tension in the car and Y/N let out a small laugh as she shook her head and leaned back against the window of Steve's car. She looked to the rear view mirror and watched as Steve glanced back at her before giving her a smile.
It was in that moment that she realized that her friends were all about to meet. It was weird to even think about, but all Y/N could hope for was that everything went okay. Cause if her friends didn't like each other. . .well, she didn't know what she would do.
So with those thoughts rushing through her head, Y/N took in a deep breath and let her eyes fall shut. She needed a moment to enjoy the calm before the storm as they turned down her street.

The two stood there hugging for a moment longer before Y/N pulled away and looked up at Steve. "I missed you," she whispered, still looking at him in disbelief and enough love that it made Steve's heart swell.

"Guys, come on. These are Y/N's friends who she hasn't seen in two years. Cut her some slack," Beverly said before shaking her head at the others and running after Steve and Y/N.
The others stood there for a moment before their eyes slowly flickered over to Bill who was standing their in shock. He noticed his friends stares and quickly gave them a small forced smile. "Bev is right. Besides, you all know how much Y/N cares about us. She wouldn't just push us aside like that," Bill assured them.
The others nodded, hanging their heads slightly in a guilty way for having accused Y/N of forgetting them. "Come on," Bill told them before he ran after the three, the others all following right behind.
By the time the Losers had caught up with Y/N and Steve, the basement door was open and Y/N was just blankly staring at the stairs. She couldn't process what was happening.
Were her friends really down those stairs? How much had they changed? Would they not like her as much once they saw how much she had changed in the past two years? What if they didn't like her friends? What if they didn't approve of Bill or Richie or Eddie or Stan or Beverly or Ben or even Mike when they got him back? How would she be able to deal with that?
"Stop," a voice called from behind her causing Y/N and Steve to glance back to see the Losers all staring at their friend.
"You're thinking too much," Eddie pointed out.
"They still love you," Beverly assured her.

Y/N grinned at him and the rest of the group before looking down at the stairs and beginning to make her descent. It was like all she could hear was her own heart beating in her ears as she made her way down the stairs, but it suddenly disappeared as soon as she reached the bottom.
She looked up and her eyes were wide as she watched the Party all stop talking and turn to look at the stairs. Their eyes widened slightly at the sight of her and the group all stared in silence for a minute, none of them moving because of how afraid they were that this wasn't real.
Eleven was the first to break the silence as she let out a small sob and bolted up from where she had been sitting on the ground next to Wheeler. Before Y/N could process what was happening, Eleven had wrapped her arms around the girl, soft sobs of relief escaping her lips.

"Yeah? Well I was friends with Y/N first so when I say it's my turn, then it's my turn," Lucas argued before turning to the girl who had been his first friend. The two were both already crying but they let out a breathy laugh before hugging each other tightly.
"Fuck, I missed you guys," Y/N said as she pulled away from Lucas and went to the next closest person which was Dustin. "Dustin, thank you so much for getting everyone down here."
"Of course. We promised each other that if either of us ever needed anything we would be there, didn't we?" Dustin asked as he gave the girl a big squeeze before smiling widely at her as he struggled to wipe his own tears of joy away.
As soon as Dustin let her go, Will had launched himself at the girl causing Y/N to grin and yell out in excitement, "Will!" She hugged the boy back with just as much enthusiasm.
Will chuckled and the two pulled away and laughed slightly at how much the other was crying. Y/N reached out and wiped the boy's tears away while he did the same for her. The two then sent each other smiles before Y/N turned to the last person in the group who she hadn't hugged yet.
Wheeler stood with his hands in his pocket, tears falling down his face as he tried to suppress the huge grin that was begging to be let out. "L/N," he greeted making Y/N chuckle.
"Wheeler," Y/N greeted as she nodded at the boy.
Wheeler couldn't hold his grin back any longer and he let out a laugh as tears streamed down his face. He held his arms out and the two teens met halfway as they hugged each other.
"Holy shit! You've grown so much!" Y/N exclaimed as she pulled away to look at her friend in surprise. "What have they been feeding you?"
Wheeler chuckled and nudged the girl playfully. "Very funny," he told her.
Y/N smiled before taking a step back and looking at all of her friends. "Shit, I'm going to start crying again. I've missed you guys so much, like you don't understand," she said as she reached out and hugged Eleven again, the others all joining in so that it was a huge group hug.
By this point, Steve and the Losers had all made it to the bottom of the stairs. Steve watched the little reunion with a smile on his face while the Losers all blinked in surprise at finally getting to see the kids Y/N had been talking about for so long.
That was until Richie noticed that the boy that was hugging Y/N looked really familiar.
Richie let out a loud gasp before yelling out, "What the fuck! That kid looks like me! Why does that kid look like me?"
The Party all let go of Y/N, allowing for her to turn around and see that Richie and the rest of the Losers were all looking at Wheeler in surprise. Wheeler let out a small gasp of surprise as he looked at Richie, his eyebrows furrowing slightly.
Richie stormed down the stairs before stopping only inches away from Wheeler while everyone else just stared at the scene with wide eyes. "Who the hell are you? And why do you look like me? I know everyone wants to fucking be me but I didn't think anyone would take it this literal," Richie frowned, pissed at the prospect of someone looking just like him.
"Maybe it's one of those doppelgänger things," Max explained in a quiet voice as she looked between the two boys in surprise.
"No, this is a fucking prank. It has to be," Richie said, not believing a word anyone was telling him.
Wheeler frowned and snapped out of his shock before looking to Y/N. "Y/N, who is this guy?" he asked confused.
Y/N smiled and walked over before wrapping an arm around Beverly and Richie's shoulders. "Guys," Y/N said. "These are my friends." The grin on her face was unlike any other as she began to introduce her friends.
"We've got Eddie Kaspbrak," Y/N said as she pointed to the boy who gave them a small wave. "Ben Hanscom." Said boy smiled and nodded in greeting. "Stan the man Uris." Stan rolled his eyes at the girl but couldn't help the smile on his face as he waved at the Party. "Then we've got the one and only Beverly Marsh." Beverly mock saluted the group making the two girls giggle before Y/N turned to Richie. "This," she said as she ruffled the boy's hair earning a groan of complaint, "is Richie Tozier."
"And last but not least," Y/N grinned as she let go of Richie and Beverly to walk over to Bill. She stood behind the boy and put her hands on his arms as she peaked her smiling face out from behind his shoulder. "We've got Bill Denbrough."
Bill smiled down at her making the girl look up at him with a bright smile, the look on the teens' faces making Steve and all of the boy members of the Party frown and cross their arms protectively while Max and Eleven let out small squeals and gripped onto each other's arms.
The teens didn't even realize they were staring at each other for a while before Steve suddenly coughed awkwardly, breaking the two apart. Y/N sent a sharp glare in Steve's direction while he merely held his hands up in surrender as he tried to act innocent.
Y/N rolled her eyes and turned her attention to the Losers as she walked over to the Party. "Okay, Losers, listen up. These are the people you have heard me talk nonstop about, so please be nice, okay?" she asked. "I'm talking to you, Richie."
Richie feigned shock while Y/N rolled her eyes at the boy. She didn't wait for a response as she pointed towards Steve, "You've already had the pleasure of meeting Harrington over there. Sorry he had to be the first one you met."
Steve feigned a look of shock while Y/N ignored him and moved on. She may have been a little mad at him for breaking her and Bill apart, but she wasn't about to voice her feelings.
"This is Lucas Sinclair. He's been my best friend since we met back in the first grade," Y/N explained as Lucas nodded at the Losers. "Then we've got Dustin Henderson, the little shit that gives me a run for my money when it comes to science things." Dustin chuckled and waved at the group.
"Next we've got Mike Wheeler who, despite being a dumbass over half the time, is probably one of the best people you will ever get the chance to meet," Y/N said as Wheeler rolled his eyes and nudged the girl. "Then we've got Will Byers. He's an amazing artist and probably one of the best to ever play D&D," Y/N told them as she hugged Will from the side, the boy instantly hugging her back.
"D&D?" Richie questioned causing the Party and Y/N to gasp.
"Richard Tozier! I'm disappointed in you," Y/N frowned. "We've talked about Dungeons and Dragons before you dumbass."
"Oh, that game. Sorry, L/N. You know I'm more of an arcade type of person," Richie pointed out.
Y/N shook her head at the boy before moving onto the next person who was Max. "This stunner is Max Mayfield. She moved to Hawkins a little bit before I left and can beat anyone in a skateboarding race," Y/N said.
"And finally we've got the lovely Jane Hopper, but everyone calls her Eleven," Y/N told the Losers as she wrapped an arm around the girl and gave her a hug.
"It's n-n-nice to finally m-m-meet you guys," Bill said as he smiled at the Party. He knew how much these people meant to Y/N, so that meant that they automatically meant a lot to him to. The Party smiled back, but their eyes flickered over to Richie once they noticed him walking over.
Y/N should've known what Richie was going to say before he said it, but she didn't know why she hadn't realized what he was doing as he walked up to Max and Eleven. "L/N, you didn't tell me you had two smoking hot babes for best friends," Richie said as he winked at the two girls and smirked.
Y/N rolled her eyes before stepping out in front of the two girls and pushing Richie away. "I know Eddie and Stan are pretty hot, aren't they?" she asked making Richie frown while Eddie and Stan snickered. "Don't even think about it, Trashmouth. They're-"
"Taken," Wheeler announced as he went over to Eleven's side and protectively wrapped an arm around her waist.
"They're taken," Lucas declared again just to prove a point as his arm wrapped around Max's shoulders.
Both boys were sending Richie death glares while their girlfriends rolled their eyes at the boys. Richie held his hands up in surrender but that didn't stop him from winking at the two girls and saying, "Well, whenever you decide you want a real man, I-"
"They will make sure not to come to you," Y/N cut him off making the Losers all chuckle while Eddie rolled his eyes at Richie and shoved him behind him in an attempt to make the boy shut the hell up.
"Now that introductions are out of the way, just what the hell is going on?" Steve questioned as he stood at the front of the group with his hands on his hips.
"Yeah, why did you need us to drive all the way here?" Dustin asked.
Lucas glanced at Y/N and said, "What they said. What the hell is going on? Y/N, didn't your parents move you away from Hawkins to stay out of trouble?"
"You would think," Y/N chuckled nervously as she ran a hand through her hair in frustration. A deep feeling of guilt suddenly washed over her as she realized that for a moment she had pretty much forgotten about Mike and the whole Upside Down and It situation.
The Losers all gave her small nods that told her to go ahead and she took in a deep breath before beginning to tell the Party everything. She started with the night she took out the trash and went all the way until what had happened only a half an hour before.
The whole time, the Party remained blank face, none of them knowing how to respond to the news that the Upside Down was back or that a clown was terrorizing people.
"I'm sorry," Wheeler muttered as he shook his head. "Did you say clown?"
"I'm obviously the more superior one seeing as I wasn't dumb as fuck to not understand a single word she was saying," Richie muttered to Eddie making Wheeler glare at him.
"I'm sorry. What did you just say?" Wheeler asked, his eyes narrowing as he looked at Richie.
"I called you dumb as fuck," Richie said again, a smug smirk on his face.
Wheeler went to take a step forward, but Eleven was quick to grab his arm and pull him back, her hand soothingly running up and down his arm as she looked to Y/N. "I don't understand," she said.
Y/N sent her a small sympathetic smile before saying, "Okay, let me give the simpler version. Basically, our friend Mike Hanlon has been taken into the Upside Down by not only demogorgons, but a being that presents itself as a clown. The clown named Pennywise or It goes around terrorizing people and eating children. I called you guys down here because we need both groups.
"You," Y/N began as she gestured towards the Party, "know about the Upside Down and have fought it multiple times."
"They," Y/N said as she pointed to the Losers, "have fought It before and know how to handle him."
"If we combine both groups and what we know, we should, theoretically, be able to stop both It and the Upside Down while also saving Mike," Y/N explained.
"Demogorgons and a place called the Upside Down? Why does this sound more believable than It?" Stan muttered with a groan.
“I'm sorry, but there is literally no way this is true," Lucas muttered as he shook his head. "A demon clown? Do you hear yourself right now, Y/N?"
"Come on, Lucas," Y/N pleaded before she looked to the whole Party. "Guys, I wouldn't lie about something like this and you know it. My friend is trapped down there and we have no way of knowing of he is even alive or not without you guys. I need you guys to trust me on this one, okay? Please, it's all I ask."
The Party all softened at her words, the teens beginning to put their full trust into the girl. The only one that looked hesitant was Steve who was looking to the ground as he rubbed his neck. Y/N looked to the boy and whispered, "Steve."
Steve let his head lift up slightly, his eyes flickering over to the girl who was standing there almost hopelessly. He knew the Upside Down part was true because of the demogorgon, but a demon clown? There was no way. But then he saw the fright in the girl's eyes and it wasn't fright over the creatures terrorizing them. No, it was fright for her friend.
For a moment he was reminded of the other times he had seen that look like when Will had been taken or Eleven had to close the gate or even when they had been trapped in the Russian Lab together and he had forced her to leave him behind.
It was the same look that told him everything he needed to know. Y/N was right— she wouldn't lie about something like this. She needed them to believe her. She needed him to believe her and as her best friend and honorary brother, it was his job to believe her.
"This is ridiculous," Steve pointed out, his eyes not leaving Y/N's as he looked at her.
"Oh, it's real," she assured him, the tone of her voice making everyone in the room gulp slightly at those words. "Way more real than you or I could ever imagine."
There was a beat of silence as Y/N let her eyes flicker over all of her friends. She already knew the Losers believed her, especially after they had been there with her since the beginning. The only ones she had to convince were the Party and Steve and she really hoped she had been able to do just that.
"This is crazy. Like batshit crazy, but I believe you and I'm in," Lucas announced making Y/N smile.
"Me too," Will said as he nodded at the girl. "They'll never be gone, not really. It's just a matter of time before they come back again. So right now, we need to stop them while we still can."
"I'm in," Wheeler announced while Richie mockingly mimicked him from beside Eddie who elbowed him in the gut.
“Same here," Eleven and Max said at the same time before high fiving each other for speaking in unison.
Y/N looked to Dustin who sighed before giving her a smile. "You know I believe you. I always do," he told her.
Y/N smiled before letting her eyes flicker over to Steve once again, the last but most important person she needed to believe her. "Steve?" Y/N questioned, her eyes hopeful as she looked to him. Steve stared at the girl for a moment before sighing and letting a grin appear on his face.
"You're lucky I brought the bat."

Oh geez. Keep in mind that a lot of these are games I haven't played in a while, so I don't remember much. 😅
Four: Competent. Spends a fair amount of time wandering around Hyrule and checking for secrets between dungeons. Sometimes knows what he has to do, but the world hasn't caught up with him yet ("What do you mean, I have to go all the way to the marshes BEFORE I can get the Pegasus Boots‽ Obviously the shoemaker is going to make them, why can't I just wait in town until he's finished? UGH. Fine.") Has never been divided into the Colors 'cause I've only ever played MC.
Legend: His Ravio retired early. Link was determined to buy all of Ravio's items ASAP, so he found a good place to farm infinite rupees early on in his adventure and hasn't looked back. More interested in exploring the map and finding all the MaiMais than in actually rescuing people, but once he's got nothing else to do he'll get right on that. Just gotta get through this monster gauntlet first...
Hyrule: I'm counting Zelda Mobile for this since my understanding is that it's a port of Z1. So with that in mind, he's pretty average. Kept almost dying to a triceratops but eventually beat Ganon. Hasn't been on any other adventures yet.
Time: Really good with puzzles and navigating dungeons. Utterly terrified of redeads and Dead Hand. The Water Temple didn't give him any trouble. Has two dungeons left to go, I think. Wanders aimlessly. Never been to Termina.
Wind: Also terrified of redeads. Spent a good chunk of time sailing to each island and filling out the sea chart. I don't remember where he's at, I think powering up the Master Sword? Decent enough in combat but finds gauntlets difficult.
Warriors: Is still learning how to navigate battlefields, but is very good at commanding others. Very keen on capturing every single keep, sometimes to the detriment of the mission as a whole. Still learning what to prioritize in battle. Drops everything and bolts across the map whenever a gold skultula shows up.
Twilight: Loves fighting Darknuts. Helm Splitter and Mortal Draw are his bread and butter. Punches Gibdos with the clawshot in order to get close to them and ruin their day. Arbiter's Grounds was his favorite dungeon and the spinner is his favorite item. Water Temple took him forever because he forgot what the entrance looked like (it was a long day and I was tired). Made a point to stop by Kakariko Village between each dungeon to check in on his amnesiac girlfriend who he loves very very much. Did a lot of exploring to begin with, but after a while he just got tired and wanted to hurry up and beat Ganondorf's face in. (Was borrowing this game from a friend so I had to hurry up and finish it.)
Sky: My baby. My poor cross-eyed, uncoordinated baby. Trips over his own two feet, can barely manage a shield bash, almost died to an octorock. He loves his Zelda dearly and is trying very hard. Just had his first boss fight against Ghirahim and, despite winning, he's still sobbing on the floor because he couldn't fetching see. (For context, I have palsy in my left arm. I can't use the button controls 'cause the left bumper is too difficult to hit, let alone hold, and I have to MacGyver this whole setup with the joycons in order to be able to even move with motion controls.)
Wild: Definitely the most competent out of the bunch, but hasn't always been so. Came up with some creative solutions in the interest of avoiding monster fights as much as possible, including sending Wolfie in to do the combat for him and phasing through the walls of the Trial of the Sword. Loves hunting for Koroks and going through Shrines (except the combat Shrines, we don't talk about those). Loves loves loves all of his horses, and Wolfie. Will go for random horseback rides across Hyrule every so often to get his mind off things. Typically wears the FD Mask and Legend's booty shorts. Only uses shields for surfing and phasing through reality. Has a hard time dodging and only rarely gets a flurry rush. It took a long time and a lot of courage for him to finally face down a Guardian Stalker, but once he figured out a good strategy, he had an absolute blast and hasn't looked back. Now he farms Silver Lynels on the regular and gallivants across Hyrule like he owns the place (he basically does).

Warriors, Four, Legend, Wind: uhhh. nonexistant?
Time: All in all pretty competent! Is crying in the final dungeon but overall in tip-top competency!
Twilight: Not bad. Very clumsy. Has ptsd from the Goron mines and will start crying at the sight of lava. But overall can manage to stumble his way through to victory.
Sky: Is the greatest among his fellows, being the only one to have actually finished his adventure. Actually pretty good with his fighting moves, but suffers from injuries accrued from his constant face planting while failing to sky-dive.
Wild: Pretty average, but not the best when it comes to fighting. Will flee in terror from guardians and lynels alike. Has a habit of screaming in rage at the shrine indicator.
Hyrule: was in possession of incredible godlike powers of time travel, until he realized that such constant use of these powers was dangerous for the space time continuum and is now trapped in Death Mountain wandering in circles.
