yessss i love responding to comments!!! i appreciate them so much, and i love an opportunity to talk about my writing <3 i can understand why people might prefer not to, especially on a place like ao3 which is technically an archive, but i like the community feel of interacting with readers on there (and i love it when other authors reply to my comments so kind of a golden rule situation)

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

hm...technically the song remains the same (spn, t) has the least desirable endingbut imo passive (mcu, gen), which is entirely about grief and denial, is angstier despite "brother died" being a less dramatic problem than "stuck in eternal crushing hell isolation"

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

to me it's phantom fangs (wwdits, t), my little vampirism-as-trans-allegory project! it's a bit of a bummer at times but to me the ending is so happy <3

i haven't!

yee. although i'm never sure if i want to write smut lmao but it sure does happen a fair amount sometimes

i'm soooo haunted by the last chapter of crimsonpeaknatural aka hollow's gate (spn, e). it is my longest fic on ao3 by far and is literally one chapter from done, i just can't bring myself to write the last ~7k. it is fully outlined. i know what happens in it. i just can't write it! why

i also started a michean fic over the summer that i really like but i doubt it'll ever be finished. at least i never posted any of that though :p

16. What’s your writing strengths?

imo characterization/perspective, atmosphere, and prose versatility. maybe pacing? i've gotten comments on that a few times but it's less of a self-observed strength

17. What’s your writing weaknesses?

i don't know what plots are <3 also sometimes my prose wraps around to being a little too circular for its own good so that's both a strength and a weakness of mine lol.

tbh i'm also bad at killing my darlings, especially when it comes to scenes i'm obsessed with, unless i give myself a LONG time to edit. like, on the order of months

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

i'm not really a fan of this as a reader and i prefer not to do it as a writer, but also i'm not going to knock it on principle because i do understand the appeal, especially to people who are writing primarily for themselves and are comfortable in both/all the languages they're including. it can be fun sometimes to see the differences between the language the dialogue and the translation gives (if they provide one) if the language is one i'm also familiar with.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

harry potter. y'know...what can you do lol it is what it is. i wrote the kind of dramione angst you'd expect of a person like me who was 13yo at the time

20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?

ohhhh i don't know. i had SO much fun writing poker face (spn, e) and i think it succeeds at doing everything i wanted it to do. this isn't an objective answer but i am genuinely very happy with that one so it is my answer atm!

1. What would you get arrested for on the Ark? 

Protests? Can you get arrested for that on the Ark?

I dunno. I have a very strong personality I’d probably get into to some kind of trouble politically on the Ark 2. Would you take off your wristband when you landed on the ground? 

Nah. I’m very much alike with Clarke in the way I think and as much as I may like to stick my middle finger up at the council if I was sent down on the dropship, I think I would see the value in having the Ark (aka. a functioning society) follow us down to the ground. I would be scared out of my mind of the Grounders - back up would be nice. 3. What would the necklace Finn would make for you look like? (Clarke: deer/Raven: a raven duh..) 

Probably a mangled mess of metal cause I’d shut down that shit SO hard

4. If you could resurrect any MINOR character who would it be? 

Maya. I understand that her surviving doesn’t really make any sense and they needed her to die for jasper’s arc or whatever BUT TBH SHE HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL??? Like, I stanned her team-up with Bellamy so hard; I’d literally sell my soul to satan for her to be incorporated into the delinquent’s group. Can you imagine her suiting up and going on hunting missions with Harper? Attending Lincoln and Bell’s sparring lessons? Sharing her music with Gina at the bar????? Helping out Abby and Jackson in medical???? Having heart to hearts with Clarke about her mom (and Clarke’s dad), who both died rebelling against the system??? Cracking jokes with Monty?? imagine if she went up to space with the squad, and what their relationship could have been like then! She could be their medic on board. 

People always simplify Maya to her relationship with Jasper (and yes they were cute) but SHE COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE. She was smart and courageous and selfless - she had fire and wit and strength and i m i s s her. 

She’ll never see Earth, never breathe real air, never float on the water, never meet Riley 

We’ll never get to see her grow up and it makes me sad

5. Create a squad of 5 characters to go on missions with. Who are they? 

Raven and Monty because they’re GENIUSES obviously.

Definitely relate the most to my INTJ queen Clarke Griffin! 

And Octavia is probably my least favourite character. I can see why some people like her and the merit in her character arc I guess but tbh she just IRRITATES me to no end - she has certain characteristics that really grate at me. Obviously, some characters are horrible people (like Dr. Tsing ew) but Octavia just infuriates me because of some of her characteristics.

She’s not for me. 11. Describe your delinquent outfit. (Would you wear something like Murphy’s jacket with the spikey red shoulder patch or have a trademark like Jasper’s goggles? Be creative, yet practical) 

Something practical cause I’m boring. 

Cargo pants. Ark-issued t-shirt. And a nice warm jacket. The jackets the characters wear on this show are pathetic - they barely look like they keep the wind out. And only Bellamy zips his up. smh vancouver is colder than it looks - all that humidity

Not so sure I’d just pardon her though. I think the delinquents needed some kind of prison system. Charlotte did murder a kid. Yeah. I feel like we’re kind of past this point in the plot. They’ve both showed development and change and I think we’re definitely at a place in the story where both of them are intended as sympathetic characters to the audience. 25. I’m going to answer this as if all of our characters were thrown into the ring and I have to predict which one would win. 

I wanna say Octavia because I think she’s independent and - er - determined enough to take out someone she knows if it came down to being the two of them to grant her own freedom and survival. Whereas, someone like Clarke or Bellamy or Kane would probably just nightlock it cause they’re self-sacrificial af. 

But then I also think maybe Murphy ‘cause cockroaches never die (thank you Raven). 26. Least favorite ship? Favorite ship? NOT INCLUDING CL OR BC 

Least favourite ship that people actually like? (aka. not something like Clarke and Jaha)

Probably B.echo (as a romantic relationship, not necessarily sexual). Hate to be basic and predictable but I think I would actually die if it were endgame.

If you asked me this a few months ago I would have told ya Niytavia but now that we’ve gotten more teasers about Octavia’s character in Season 5 I’m not sure if I want her anywhere near her (I like Niylah when she’s hot, but not cooked, ya feel?)

So maybe Jasper and Raven. Idk. I liked their friendship. Still bitter about Season 4.

I don’t really ship anything besides Bellarke that much. They’re an anomaly for me. 27. A song that should be included in the next season, like when Radioactive was? If there had to be another guest star like Shawn Mendes on the show, who would you want to make a cameo? 

Tbh RAIGN goes hard af so anything by her would be pretty lit. 

I mostly only associate songs I listen to with Bellarke when I’m applying them to the show so I’ve got like 100+ songs that I would love to use for them but its hard to think of a context where they would fit in with the tone of the show

29. Opinion on Emori? Roan? 

I don’t really have a strong opinion on Emori. I feel like our knowledge of her is still so limited. She’s still barely interacted with anyone besides Murphy. But I’m guessing that may change in Season 5. I’d like to see her interact more with Bellamy, since they both have siblings (and Emori was the disgraced child too, just like O). Not many people can relate in that sense.

I really liked Roan but TO BE HONEST I found him more intriguing in Season 3 than in Season 4. He was literally up there in like my top four or five characters in Season 3 - I was so excited to learn more about him! In Season 4 he didn’t have much of a character arc, he was just kind of there to look moody and badass.

But honestly Roan is one of those characters that I don’t think was necessarily intended to be funny (as opposed to characters like Jasper and Wick) but his interactions with Clarke, Bellamy, and Echo offered up the occasional piece of comedy gold. He went too soon. Forever mourning the bromance that he and Bellamy could have had.

30. Would you want to be an extra that is killed off in a brutal way? 

I wanna be Satisfied Girl.

I've wanted to write this for a long time… I know technically, Tyler and I have been married less than a month. But I knew almost as soon as we "officially" started dating, AKA actually putting pictures together on social media together, that we would get married. I wanted to write this because we live in the South, where basically you are deemed a cat lady by 25 if you aren't married with at least one kid on the way by then. I always thought something was wrong with me, I had too high of standards, or that I had been destined to not be married because I was 28 and had never even come close to actually loving someone, much less get married to them. I also wanted to write this to say that marriage is not your problem-solver. It isn't like the fairytales you grew up watching, where you were this lowly woman striving to seek out a man your entire first part of your life and then when you find him, you're automatically complete and you never have problems at all. LOL, spoiler alert, it doesn't work like that. And I seriously think I did think that a large part of my life. That's not to say Tyler has not made my life fuller, happier, and added even more meaningful memories and days, but he is not the solver to all my problems or the one who completes me. That is left to God alone, which is where I had finally laid all of my problems down when I met Tyler. 

So let's rewind to age 16, the first time I actually truly thought about being married. I'm in my car, driving. I remember distinctly that feeling of being scared about never getting married. I started praying about it, worried at that young of age that I would never find someone. I also remember listening KLOVE in this same time. A lady called in and told a whole story about waiting for the right man. I know it was her second marriage she was describing, but she talked about praying for the right one to come along after her tragic first marriage and after she prayed, there he was years later, exactly the kind of man she needed and God ended up giving her.  Since I had just been freaking out and praying about a future husband, I remember thinking, "Okay, God, this is your sign to me that one day I will have a husband." And that was that, for the time being.

Now, I'll spare you the college years (it amazes me that anyone finds a husband in that time based on the ones I knew) and fast forward to my post-college years. I spent a large part of my 20's looking, and sometimes even unknowingly searching, for my husband. I am a bit of a walking oxymoron, as my best friend Anna Rose has called me. In this case, it is no different. On one hand, I was always extremely independent and "didn't need no man". I loved being able to date around and just look after me, myself, and I without having the responsibility of being in a relationship. But on the other hand, I could get very sad and discontent with being single, and because of that, I would let guys come into my life who had no business being there. I would keep them around because I was bored or wanted attention or fulfillment of someone telling me I'm pretty, fun, worthy. That lifestyle is pretty empty, if I must say so myself. I spent a lot of years in that one spot, talking to a lot of guys, none of who had any potential of being the husband I had prayed for. I was more obsessed with the IDEA of who I wanted these guys to be rather than who they actually were. I created, in my mind, our relationship and what it would be like, how they would treat me, and who he was. That idea I created enabled me to keep them around. At times, it was very exciting having some new boy to talk to and question whether it would ever go anywhere. Let's get real - women love the excitement of the unknowing. But 9 times out of 10, it was just a letdown for me. I remember so many times my mom telling me that I needed to cut off ties with these guys, and stick to what my plan was for my husband, which was to trust the Lord, get closer to Him alone, and pray for what I wanted and only date men that had the qualities that I prayed for. Now, I did get few good guys along the way, even one or two great ones, but in the end, they were not who God had for ME or me for them, and it was apparent. From all the ones I have dated, and it has been a lot since I was single for pretty much all of my life before 28, I never once felt settled or "okay" with any of them. It was strange - I  would always feel like something was wrong or off, and I couldn't truly enjoy being with them because I always had that nagging feeling that something wasn't right, and now in hindsight, DUH. Obviously, that was the Holy Spirit being like, "Nope, sorry sis, he's not the one." I always LOVED that picture that shows a little girl and Jesus. She's clinging to this small teddy bear, and Jesus is holding out is hand, asking her to give it to Him. She's near tears and is scared to hand it over. On the right side of the picture, Jesus is smiling because He holds a much larger teddy bear behind His back, ready to give it to her as soon as she releases the small teddy bear and gives it up for Him. And that's exactly what happened to me in retrospect. I had to completely give up MY own dreams of how I wanted MY life to be like and how I wanted it to turn out. I had to get to the *literal* point of saying aloud, "God this part of my life is yours. I will be okay with however it turns out, because I know you are in control." BOOM, like 2 months later, cue the future husband.

If you know me personally and/or were at my rehearsal dinner, then you've probably heard this part of my story. But sharing God's faithfulness never gets old to me… About 4 years ago, I read this book called Fervent Prayer by Priscilla Shirer. In her book, she talks about specific prayer. I think oftentimes, and I'm certainly guilty of this, I will start praying words but not necessarily having a plan for specific things I really want and am asking Christ for. Her book not only applies for my prayer of finding the husband God has for you, but for specific things in your job or finding a job, relationships you want (with your parents, brother/sister, coworkers, children), or finding your lost keys, even. I decided to write mine down after I finished reading it. So I get to work, listing out every single thing I want in my husband - character traits, how he treats me, special things I would love for him to do for me, relationships he has with his own family, what I want our relationship to be like, etc. You name something specific to pray for, I asked for it. Now this prayer didn't get answered in the next couple weeks, few months, or even the next couple of years. 2 years later, I met Tyler at CrossFit JXN. My sister Mag knew him already because they're closer in age. (Those who know me, y'all knew I would always marry younger, lol). We didn't start dating then. I had absolutely no clue he would be my future husband. We were acquaintances and later friends over the course of a year. About 8 months later, we hit it off hanging out with a group of friends one day. Two weeks later, we had our first date. I really, really liked Tyler. He had all the good characteristics you would ever want in a boyfriend or husband. And on a positive, refreshing note, he didn't do all the "games" guys do. He liked me, and he made sure I knew. About two weeks before we officially started dating, I got really scared. I had been single for basically my entire life. It was pretty much all I knew. I didn't know if I wanted to keep seeing Tyler, NOT because of him, but because of my own issues. Strangely enough, with all my hopes in finding a husband, I have some commitment issues of sorts. I told my mom about it, because she knows everything - poor her. She tells me she wants me to pray about it first. I was like…. Okay… but after a month, if I'm still freaking out about it, I think I will have to break it off with him. See, Mom is wise - she knows what I (and she) have prayed for my whole life. She knew the prayer would work. I'm telling you, after two days of praying, I completely and one-hundred percent changed my mind. I knew I didn't want to be without him now. It was a complete change of heart. Something inside of me clicked and I knew that committing to him would be the best thing I ever did.

August 22, 2019 After we have been officially dating about a month, cue Allison Hughes once again - she prompts me to dig until I find that prayer I wrote 3 years ago. I had moved the previous summer, so there was no telling where I had put it. I started praying to find it. I wanted to compare Tyler to that prayer. About 3 weeks later, I found it stuffed inside the pages of Fervent Prayer. As I began reading that 3-full-pages-long prayer, I began to cry. Every single thing I wrote on those pages was exactly Tyler, from the character traits he possessed that I had prayed for to the special things I wanted him to do for me (that he had already done in our month-long relationship) to the nitpicky things like being way taller than me (HARD to come by, ladies), athletic, and always being up for anything. I mean, what a testament to God's faithfulness. What I also noticed was how this didn't happen immediately. But it was answered nonetheless, on God's timing, not mine. He waited until my relationships were given completely to Him. I praise Him for that, because honestly, I don't think I would have been ready even a few months before that. God's timing was absolutely perfect.

August 27, 2019 While I'm writing about waiting for the one God has for you, I can't help but also write about what makes Tyler a husband more than I could have even thought of. I have had guy friends joke with me about how Tyler needs to simmer it down, because he makes the rest of them look bad. But I think he is a role model for what all men should be to their wives. He helps with chores around the house, takes it upon himself (most of the time) without ever having to be asked - laundry, yard work, cleaning the shower, etc. He still gets me flowers from the store on the way home when he feels like I've had a bad day or just needs some sunshine in my classroom. He sends me texts almost daily telling me how much he loves and appreciates me or how much I mean to him. He makes sure I'm safe at all times, calling me to make sure I set the alarm when he's not at home or to double check I'm not left at the gym by myself. He always shows affection to me and has never shown less when he is around his friends. He asks me questions about my day, my successes, my concerns, or about my other relationships with people. He asks me if I have anything I need Him to pray for - he actually makes me stay in bed for 1 minute longer in the mornings to pray over me before I start my day, even if he is still half-asleep. He encourages me and is always on my side but also shares with me when he thinks I am wrong or need to see something from a different angle. He asks me out on dates at least once a week, from our favorite spots, Edo and Bravo to Newk's or Subway. He opens my car door for me when he takes me on those dates or when we are just going down the street to Walgreens. He shares with me his dreams and goals and asks me to hold him accountable. He prays with me when we need it, often being the one to suggest it. Obviously, I can say even more great things about the man I married, but I think you get the picture. Never settle for less than what God has for you. We don't deserve what He does give us, but He shows us grace and mercy every day. I thank God all the time and tell Him I don't deserve this man He placed in my life that I am lucky to spend every day for the rest of my life with. But I see God smiling and saying, "I told you I had better plans." Thank you, Father, for your faithfulness. I pray that our story encourages someone who needs to hear it. I pray that in all we do, we remember the faithfulness you have shown us. I love you, forever and always. And thank you so very much for giving me T.

January Hashtag Games

Chances are you started to follow me for one of two reasons...

1- You saw my music posts and enjoy listening to my playlists (a great reason to be friends by the way)

2- You found me through my writing, and likely one of those writing-related topics was a hashtag game. Which, was more fun than I thought it would be, so there will be more of these posts in the future.

I participated in 3 games, this past month, and pulled my answered together in one place now.

First up is one that quickly became a favorite, even if I was a latecomer to it...

#characterstell, hosted and credited to @m_arbanassi, not only set one of my favorite characters loose on Twitter, but it also made me think more about some of the other faceless faces in my crowd. It also holds the honor of being the first post I had retweeted, not once but twice. I can not tell you how much Sly’s introduction, and it’s retweets meant to me. After all, it is very easy to just like and keep going, I do it often enough, but to retweet a post about a name? Sometimes the little things make a difference to someone else, and in this case, it was like being heard even a tiny bit in my new little fresh grass patch of Twitter. All because of a character with a name I researched quite a bit to strike the perfect balance, in what is essentially just an Easter Egg type of inside joke between myself and the real Sly.

15/1- Out of all the chars, spotlight falls on "Ballentine Rajneesh Siyamak, but you can call me Sly for short." In an old-school fashion, Sly bent at the waist. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, and welcome to this fascinating club. Are you here for a milkshake?"

16/1- (Sly) "I strive to be neutral, and my own person. I may have learned some of the finer arts of socializing from Miss Tweety, MC to you, but I prefer to be my own man." #lonewolf is an insult to *someone's* sense of self. Prefers #observer or maybe #batman

17- As host with a persona to upkeep, I find inclusion with all patrons. Gus was a mentor, Malta and Frost for dialect or brogue, Deej's comedic antics (thunderous stampede interruption of Bebe, caught by Nira) 👈 they keep us lithe and in need of disinfectant.

18/1- I like big books and can not lie… You don't get a moniker of "Dictionary" for being a music catalog. I have had some spirited debates about lyrics and… (Mechanical bat draws focus, #dancing on jukebox to play @tapefive #BadBoyGoodMan) #themesong        

19- I have been informed that I used to flirt poorly, where the person of interest was not even aware I was trying. Former covert coquet, now I woo those in low spirits, but I am not looking for any attachments. Might still be bad at knowing when I am courted...

20/1- Hotheaded? That is never me. I do not antagonize easily, nor can one ruffle my feathers as they say. If you are looking for argumentative types, talk to Nira about a duck. Or make fun of Frost's kilt. Who goes looking for that sort of trouble anyway?

21/1- If by weapons you mean a sharp wit, brilliant wordsmith talent, and the ability to make some mean drinks with a well-received boozy milkshake? Then consider me #always #armed and #dangerous

22/1- You saw me as the big lug the wee lasses took pity on, and danced with. They loved how I could toss them in the air, and I loved the respect getting the attention of Tweety, whom my snobby friend couldn't, got me. More admirers didn't hurt either ;)

23/1- hobbies? I have a girlfriend now, thanks to that one bar night, but I fix cars and love that. #classiccar fan right here.

24/1- My parents are like any other really, mom and dad are great, had a bunch of kids, some have made them grandparents. Nieces and nephews are adorable...

25/1- Yes! I'm the second youngest, with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. We're all old enough to start our own families now, and I can't wait to either!

26/1- is a story about an under confident guy (with a slick self important friend), who gets the attention of an influential woman, who opens up his love life from there worth telling?

27/1- if you asked my social status months before, I would have said absolutely not, but now? Yes, most definitely yes. 😁

28/1- broken the law? No. I may have been seen as a nobody, but I'm a good hearted nobody thru and thru!

29/1- MC: I have never said anything nasty about her as a person; I just disagreed with the business practices…

Ant: She… looks… less yellow…, and I hate you now too for making me do that.

30/1- I didn't have a story when you met me the first time, but my story continued, and I could very well be a confidante. It's not like I'm single therefore threatening to MC sensibilities…

31/1- Are we not all Main Characters in our own lives? If you act with confidence and charisma, you become important to someone else. A MC in their eyes.

1- Hello, I am a #library worker by day, #writer by night, simply putting the stories inside me out on paper. Goal is always to finish books and see about publishing them.

2- Resolutions? 1- To stop letting bestie embarrass me so 2- have the cupcake, enjoy the cupcake. 3- Not spend as much on clothing and shoe- *giggles* nope, scratch that one.

3- My @goodreads goal is 5 books, but I am always reading when I am not writing, I just don't always finish a book.

4- I just started my platform efforts barely a month ago, so actually having one is the start of my improving it. The dream is finding like minded souls who like my work…

5- Improving my writing means I have to improve my editing, but like my writing got better with practice, so too shall my editing…

6- Proud of in my writing? That there are scenes that move me, also that my test readers find emotional connections to the works.

7- If Tink were Tweet? I'd have to admit to #magic, but height, and possibly attitudes are similar. Tink would have an amazing wardrobe though. #fashionista wannabe MC anyone?

8- Diversity? I think that I have each character standing out with their culture, or wisdom, the one thing that makes them unique.

9- Ooh good one. The antagonist hits a few rungs on the sin ladder, even with henchmen. But her driving sin? Pride.

10- Weirdest place… Airplane? My hand? Oh how about when I am the adult watching library study hall? Best is when the kids don't come in, but you have to stay in case they do…

11- Mucky middle, and possibly needing to rewrite already, to shore up a big plot bunny that will only get worse if I don't fix it now.

12- Victory has to be doing #NaNo and making my 50k. Proved to myself I can do it, now I must keep up the momentum to keep #winning

18- Can you measure love? Because my chars are important to me and so I honor them the best I can by trying to be present for them and their scenes.

19- This is a great question! I'm not sure, but I know Tweet would be a classics woman. #Casablanca… with #BreakfastAtTiffany's being a runner up film.

20- Tweety, Bebe, and Malta of course! They are known as triple trouble for a reason… Just bring the Cockney/English translator and you'll be fine.

21- The honesty in the memories; that was the only reason he couldn't stop reading. #spoilers if I kept going, but it's so good…

30- Writing progress in this new year? None, other than starting social media… But in 2017, I finally finished writing book 1! January is rough to balance #work and #writing.

11- Cry? Yes… a little death and heartbreak can do that to you. After all, if you don't move yourself, how can you move anyone else?

13- Without sharing #spoilers, in the first book, there is a description of the bar that feels pretty magical, any of the parts alluding to olden days really.

14- Unfortunately, my poetry days are behind me, been a long time since I wrote angst-y rhyming couplets. Yes I know that's not all poetry, but the reminders… *shivers* nope, no more cutesy dark things, unless it's music, men, or clothes…

15- I beat the #writersblock with #music… It sets the mood, first by taking me out of mine, and then transporting me to the mood I need to #write in.

16a- If someone is going to try to own me, they can and will try, simply because I seem like the ownable sort. But they never will, not entirely, because they will never be able to take away my memories. #daring #note not yet in WIP L

16b- other creative outlets? #cooking, and I like to take pictures, but do not like being in them… creative in ideas, less in execution lol

17- #WIP as food- something that looks soft, fluffy, and too sweet, like cotton candy, but in tasting it, there is depth, balance and richness to the sweetness. So… savory cotton candy?

22- Goals? Is it really wrong to want a nice looking bar façade that lets the girls make all my money for me? I sing to keep the customers coming, and to show off ;)

25- Malta- "A day 'ha' changed me life? Da day I me' duck an' Fros' ov course. 'ah can you no' remember 'he day you mee' a bloke 'ha' doesn' lose in 'he game ov drink? so wha' if 'e's a Sco'.. cuppa?"-handed tea before memories become another Cockney/Scottish debate…

26- Relate to her? Once I got arrested because of her, and had to use my blackmail to get off, I walked away to start over. Don't care about her, and don't mention her to me again.

27- Family? Why the staff here is my family now, and there are more memories every day. I'm sure we've forgotten far too many stories, but I will always remember the Handcuffs Halloween… It all started with this band performance in the club….

28- Try to go trad, or at least chat with a #literary #agent first, got to check the iffy legal issues are only in my head… Self pub is not off the table, just got to get ducks in rows. Still understanding it being #Women'sFiction now... bye YARomance, maybe next time?

29- Write for? Myself, the friends I have made that inspired this story, just found out a family friend's youth is into writing, so more reason to test the waters first... #experience that can be taught to the next gen writers.

The first incident happened when she was walking Blue at night. He lunged, growled, and snapped at a person he was walking by. The second incident occurred when a person outside was opening the gates on a store. Blue lunged towards her, barking and growling. Blue also growled at the owner's roommate. In-home behavior is unknown. 3/21/2019: Bravo ignores approach from the female greeter dog. 3/30: Bravo initially avoids the greeter dog, appearing somewhat fearful. Eventually Bravo greets a female dog politely, displaying loose body and wagging tail, but does not play when solicited. 2018: 10/7-10: When introduced off leash to female dogs, Bravo is bouncy and playful. 10/11: Bravo engages in play, and is respectful of dogs who are less interested or fearful. 3/28: Blue engages in very brief play. IN SHELTER OBSERVATIONS:: 4/2/19: While a staff member was walking Blue down the stairs at the care center, he lunged towards another staff member, barking and growling. On another occasion, a staff member walking into a room Blue was already in and he lunged towards that staff member, barking and growling. The behavior department recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
