uhh major omori spoilers btw 👍 and also tw for suicide. i hope i can coherently explain my thoughts. my opinion btw. i’m gonna sound dumb i’m sorry i’m thinking about this too hard but please be nice to me <3

anyway my favorite area in terms of spook factor in omori is the red maze.

the red maze is a secretish area in omori, in black space 2 specifically. i think thats kinda notable. black space 1 and 2 are like repressed trauma headquarters.

the maze looks like this first going in. creepy ass fucking tree. (fun fact. the full area has a spot that looks like a noose hanging from a tree, and another spot that says “kill me”. fun.)

in the area you can find little toasts floating around. toasts are what a party member becomes when they hit 0 hp.

letting them touch you turns the screen black for a split second, then they become this:

little pixel hanging maris following you around in the dark. how fun.

letting them touch you makes you take damage. you can’t die though, lowest you can get is 1 hp. continuing to let them touch you though after a while makes them turn into this:

mari but worse. fun. 👍

these are referred to as manniquen mari in game. letting them touch you makes them scream and turn into the thing on the left:

and theres a lot of them that chase you around in the dark. screaming. this area is super fun and not stressful at all. 

a bonus: continuing to run around in the dark like this with them chasing you prompts a text box. it keeps popping up randomly once you’ve been here a while. it says the following:

(ignore the big face to the side. that is a glitch, it’s not supposed to happen. i had to get this from a different yt video since i can’t transfer videos/photos from my switch right now 💔)

the red maze makes me so fucking anxious this shit scares me so badly. i hated being here but also i really liked it cause i at least think its a really cool horror thing. its a part of this horror game that actually really scared me. got me really anxious. good job omori 👍

also unless you can find your way out or find a way to one of the ladders you’re stuck in the dark with the hellmaris and screaming and guilt. unless you decide to stab yourself. which you can of course do. 

 a side note, and tw for animal abuse/death and lots of mentions of suicide: the way this game can make you like. get used to and even prefer suicide as an option is something i think about sometimes. like the mewo room (i forgot what its actually called) where it gives you the option to either stab yourself or cut mewo open is so fucked up cause you can be almost RELIEVED to see that you can stab yourself instead of cutting open mewo. idk. its a thing i think about sometimes. (technically there isn’t really a choice cause cutting open mewo does nothing, and you still have to stab yourself anyway but like. this still applies to the red maze. you could go through the anxiety of trying to find a way out in this maze but its easier to die which is SUCH a fucking thing i think about. like. idk. yeah just a thought 👍)

this area is like. interesting to me. its such a heavily repressed area, since it’s a secretish area in repressed trauma headquarters part 2. this is on the hikkikomori route, where sunny never faces the truth and idk i like this area cause it genuinely gets me really anxious and i like the scary factor and also cause its like more of the game showing no matter what the truth will always haunt sunny. the guilt and trauma of what happened will always be there, heavily repressed but still there, in the very back of sunny’s mind. “look at what you’ve done.” idk i think that like really emphasizes the guilt. also to me it also makes the player feel kinda guilty especially if you’ve already done the sunny route/good ending. look at what you did, look at what your choice has led to. (i did another whole ramble on a similar note but about playing forever and what i think about it. i like playing forever a lot btw :3)

i think its pretty clear that what happened and mari’s death will always haunt sunny just from how the hikkikomori route ends (with sunny leaving the house, something still following him into the car to his new house), but idk i think its cool how much stuff in black space 2 really really emphasizes how much this will always haunt sunny no matter how much he tries to repress it. there’s more i wanna talk about but again i can’t get my screenshots rn 💔

anyway. bonus areas from the red maze i’d like to mention:

^ these are in one area, down a really really REALLY long chain of ladders. the hellmari face is what you find at the very end. i wanna talk about the toy box (second photo, thats what the box is.) 

the toybox is where, in the route where you find the truth, you find sunny’s old violin. on this route though, its locked. you can’t open it. you can’t even interact with it. its just there. idk. its another detail i like. the violin that is so heavily tied with the truth is in this secret very repressed area, locked and completely unable to be interacted with. the key that sunny needed to face the truth and omori is in there, but he’ll never even touch that box. its buried under layers and layers of repression.

^ this area is called faces of omori. if you can see in the background, a chart of omori’s expressions is there, it scrolls down quickly ingame. a thing i wanna note, iirc, it also has faces for omori’s scared emotion. it was cut and never used in game but i think thats a cool detail. anyway i have absolutely no fucking clue what this area is about. but i think it’s cool 👍

uh i feel like i was just repeating myself a lot. sorry. i am not great at analysis but i think about this game all the time and i wanted to unleash my thoughts at least semi coherently 👍

Omori Flower Thingy

So, I really like the game Omori. There is a lot of symbolism in the game and I want to break down the flowers that basil says reminds him of his friend in both their real world and headspace counterparts. (Spoilers for Omori) (Also keep in mind the game this is from. Possibly triggering stuff.)

So as a basic rundown of the game if you have never played it or heard of it, Omori is a game about a kid named Sunny. The game switches between him as Sunny, in the real world, and Him as Omori, in the headspace. All of his friends have a counterpart that he made up in the headspace. We have Basil, Aubrey, Hero, Kel, and Mari. Basil (In both headspace and the real world) is known to grow flowers. When you visit his house for the first time in the game you get shown six plots of flowers, one for every main character. I want to show how, in opinion, these not only represent them in the headspace but the real world.

“Basil: These are sunflowers. They're called that because they always face towards the sun.

That’s how I want to be like… someone who always sees the bright side of things”

Basil In the headspace lives alone from all of the others, with Omori living in white space, Mari on a picnic blanket, and the others in Neighbor’s room. In headspace he is shy, cheery, and empathetic. For most of the game he is missing in the headspace after finding a photo that showed the whole big plot twist we learn towards the end of the game. This leads to the whole story plot of everyone following Omori around to try and find Basil with them slowly losing their memories of him as they go along until only Omori remembers.

In the real world Basil is extremely anxious. He also knows the secret but unlike headspace Basil he didn't just find it out. He has known for 4 years and had to deal with the knowledge alone because Sunny didn’t leave his house for 4 years and made a whole new fucking world in he head. 

Sunflower symbolism can be for loyalty. Sunflowers at funerals show that a person brought people close when they were alive. It can also apparently mean life after death.

~Real World~

Basil is a person who is extremely loyal to sunny. Due to an accident that resulted in the death of Sunny’s sister. Sunny accidently pushed his sister down the stairs in an argument resulting in her death and Basil helped him cover is up by making it look like Mari hung herself. Basil kept this secret even after Sunny locked himself in his house. He even willingly took the blame for things Sunny did, causing him to lose one of the last friends he had while Sunny locked himself away. 

In one of the endings Basil kills himself. I feel like this could result in one of the same ways as Mari, where Sunny hallucinates his dead best friend resulting in a “life after death”.

In one of the routes he is the reason all of his friends rejoin and start to get along? He is the reason his friends are brought together therefore begin someone who brought people together in life 

~Headspace~

In the headspace we don’t get as much time with him due to him being missing most of the game here. I will do my best to prove my point with like the 30 minutes max time he got out of the 21-71 hour game. I would say he is in life after death and brings people together in the way that even when his friend could no longer remember his name they knew that they were looking for someone.  

Loyal is a bit harder here. He does however protect some people who show him kindness despite the fact that he is a pacifist. That's all I got on this point.

And in both worlds they blindly follow the Sunny/Omori even when it hurts them. They follow the sun even after it results in headspace getting killed a shit ton in black space and real world his friends about to keep the secret and protect Sunny.

We had one good appointment with this guy out of 4 appointment so far…. It’s a good fucking thing Dito and I were at the front because today was another bad one. This idiot literally tried to press us on our boundaries, said he “healed energies”, and then HE FUCKING SAID WE SHOULD “make a maximizer” TO HELP US……

By the way, his definition of a maximizer was a type of alter to “help Omori” . His exact words were “You need a maximizer. […] The beauty of a maximizer is they can maximize any of those characters. […] Maximizer maxes that characters abilities beyond what that character would normally do. Maximizer would conserve energy”

KEEP IN MIND THE “CHARACTERS” ARE HIM REFERRING TO OUR ALTERS….THIS MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL IS TELLING US TO “JUST MAKE” AN NEW ALTER. WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT THE HOLY HELL.

He seemed baffled when I said over and over that that’s NOT how our brain works (or the disorder in general) and implied it was because we “just weren’t there yet”.

THERE WAS JUST SO MUCH HARMFUL AND INCORRECT SHIT!! God at some point I just let Dito take over and toy with him just to hear the bullshit he kept spouting. We just have to go for a few more appointments until we find a new psychologist…

HE COULDNT EVEN SAY MY NAME RIGHT! And then was just projecting onto what little amount he knew about our system (BECAUSE I FUCKING KNEW HE WAS A SHITTY DOCTOR AND I KNEW HE’D TAKE ANY INFORMATION ON OUR ALTERS AND TWIST IT OR TRY TO SHOVE US INTO BOXES TO BULLSHIT US. I GAVE HIM A SMALL LIST OF THE ONLY ONES OF US HE MIGHT MEET, THE MOST VAGUE REFERENCE TO WHAT THEIR ROLE IS, AND PRONOUNS AND HE STILL COULDNT EVEN GET OUR PRONOUNS RIGHT.)

God what a fucking idiot. If you all could LISTEN to the absolute bullshit this man was spewing. It’s a good thing we did so much research before seeing him because it turns out HE’S NOT EVEN VERSED IN OUR SPECIFIC TYPE OF TRAUMA… He admitted he’s never worked with another patient with any sort of complex dissociation issues AND THEN TELLS US HOW HE THINKS OUR SYSTEM WORKS AND SEES NO ISSUES WITH HOW LONG IT TAKES OUR SWITCHES SOMETIMES OR HOW IT IMPACTS OUR LIFE.

“That’s not interfering with your life” MOTHER FUCKER YOU HAD TO TAKE OUR BLOOD PRESSURE TWICE BEFORE I SWITCHED IN BECAUSE CIRLAI WAS PANICKING SO BAD.

THIS FUCKING IDIOT SAID HE “became our mentor”. IN FUCKING WHAT? DISSOCIATION??? EXPERIENCING REPEATED TRAUMA??? and that we proved he “does it more efficiently and faster” than us. THIS ASSHOLE SAID “you jump between them every 2 hours. Know how fast it takes me? Seconds. And I do it at will.”

This is how I KNOW this fucker is not an actual doctor that deals with trauma on the daily. If you’ve forgotten, he is implying he ACTS AS A SYSTEM MORE EFFICIENTLY THAN US BECAUSE HE “DOES IT AT WILL” THIS FUCKING SACK OF SHIT IS ONE OF THE WORST “PROFESSIONALS” WE HAVE EVER SEEN.

Him and Deuce set up wherever you guys are gonna play on, but before playing they started fighting who lays on the couch

The game finally starts and the first thing he says is "Is this sappy stuff?"

Ofc you don't know, you know nothing of this game and just shushed him

At first he thought this was boring and getting tired of reading every dialogue and watching you fight enemies even tho he's not rlly reading

Tho after some time and revealing the important details, it went slowly up it's way to a hundred

He doesn't like getting emotional and he said lame jokes during sad scenes to lighten the mood. He sounds like a Kel kinnie

After revealing more things (yk what I mean Omori fans) he is mildly traumatized

"Wtf" is his only explainable reaction

He may have underestimated this game

If you're the emotional type and he sees you crying, he's lightly nudging you on the head and telling you to stop crying, but rlly, he just doesn't like seeing you cry

If you often get scared on certain times, he is holding on your shoulders and maybe laugh at you for shivering so much

If you like the dark theme and laugh or smile on worst times, he thinks you're fucked up

All in all, he rates this game a 5/10

Deuce Spade

The one who did most of the setting up

He's the one who moved the couches as well

The game starts, his first thought is the words of his mom when he moved to nrc, but then he got blinded by the white light that emerges all of a sudden form the game

He finds the game cute...but then the atmosphere is suddenly not cute after knowing more finer details

Definetly teared up after finding out Mari's "💀"

Mari reminds him of his mom and Hero is like the dad he wanted

He definitely sees himself in Aubrey and sympathizes with her 

Also traumatized after finding out what happened to her, probably the most traumatized

If you're sad, dw, he's sad too, you both cry together

If you're scared, he is holding onto the opposite side of your shoulder of where Ace is holding

If you laugh at the worst times of the game, he just stares concerned

He rates this game a 3/10 he can't sleep peacefully

Jack Howl

The one who actually helped you with snacks. Added in some healthy snacks for everybody. He gave out some blankets too since it's quite cold in Ramshackle

The one who stopped the Adeuce fighting over a couch

First impressions of the game, it's chill, not the usual endurance game that he likes but neat enough

And things took a turn which keeps his fur up for a long while

After revealing what happen to Mari, he was sad, he didn't tear up like Deuce but he was sad

He just chose to focus more on the cute interactions on the dream world and Aubrey's lovey-dovey acts towards Omori

Would sometimes beat the enemies or bosses if you can't

Sooner or later, more things are revealed and his fur was up again

If you cried, he is the one handing tissues

If you're scared of at times, he's switching places with you and maybe let you play with his tail

If you laugh, he is staring at you with one eye twitching and brows knitted together

Rates the game 6/10 sorry he didn't enjoy it as much, but if it's an exercise game then maybe

Epel Felmier

The one who sneaked out

He and Vil is going to have their usual skincare routine but he wants to be included in game night

So he took the risk and you all covered up for him

The impression of the game to him is quite difficult to comprehend

At the start it's so cutesy, but then the game atmosphere spun in 180° and it turned into horror

He screamed when he saw the thing on the mirror and probably the highest pitched scream you've ever heard, him and Sebek screamed at the same time so he pointed it at him

He denies that he's scared on intense moments

When more and more details are revealed, he is traumatized as well

He didn't cry but hell this was still fucked up

If you cry, he's handing you tissues too

If you're scared, he's acting like a big bro and pats your back, despite him being scared as well

If you're laughing at the cursed stuff, he's gonna awkwardly laugh along but he wants to know wtf is going on with your humor

The one who was just invited cuz you guys want to

Didn't care about the game and keeps on talking about how only staring at Malleus is better

He points out stuff that reminds him of Malleus from time to time which Ace just shushed at him

Pays no mind in the game and doesn't read dialogues until Epel screamed at the top of his lungs which causes him to scream too

They almost had a mini fight of who actually screamed first until Ace told them to shut up for the 5th time probably

He doesn't mind the game but he does try out boss fights. It is his 3rd attempt when he finally gets the controls and after that, he is the one in charge of dealing with bosses

Is pretty competitive tho

He wouldn't know what to do if ur crying or scared, I'm sorry

Didn't pay attention so he just rates 0 then left to go to his WAKASAMA

alright so this is really fuckin petty

and halfway delusional because of how late it is for me as i’m writing this but i really really really hate the omori pursuit au (ie the one where hero loses it). i fully admit i have not read the sequel in full (as i really don’t want to), but i did read the original story as it was being published. plus, although i definitely wouldn’t count this as me reading the sequel in full, i am generally aware of how it goes from what i did read and from everything i would see of this story in the places i’d go looking for omori fanart.

i’ve got kinda a lot of qualms with the story this au originates from, but the one i wanna focus on here is character interpretation. i have problems with everyone in the group, but i wanna focus on hero. iirc, the author did explicitly state that the version of hero they were portraying was not how they actually saw him as. and i’m inclined to believe them on that, both because they have no real reason to lie about that and because i can tell as much from the other times they’ve written hero. 

despite all of this, it’s upsetting to see a character you love so much be interpreted in a way that is completely antithetical to what made them so important to you. it’s especially prevalent in what i’ve seen of the sequel, where hero is so comically far removed from himself that it’s practically diametrically opposed to his original character. where the good ending of that sequel goes completely against the sentiment of the original game (of course that’s not to say it isn’t a justified direction for its story to take, i just bring this up to highlight how far gone it’s gotten from the game). it’s a person that the original hero could never become (pretty much “he would never” but unironically lol). but all that’s really no big deal, not only because of what the author said about this not actually being how they see hero, but because even if it was, people are free to do whatever so long as it doesn’t hurt others. not to mention, it’s not like i was being forced to continue reading. the fact i did finish the original story meant it had something going right with its idea/execution/what have you. what outright frustrates me is that the interpretation got so popular for a time that it seeped way deeper into the general perception of hero’s character than it had any right to. as in, it was being conflated with the original character of hero and it felt like there was more art being made of pursuit au hero than the original character. now some major qualifiers to that statement: -there’s nothing necessarily wrong about this either. remember, i’m being insanely petty with all this towards a deeply personal work of a person i do not know. and i am generally happy to see when monumental fanworks such as this get celebrated. because they deserve it! -this was only from my position. it’s incredibly likely it isn’t nearly as bad overall as it was for me, and i only kept encountering it without wanting to as much as i did because of how much i entrenched myself in omori fancontent (and still do) -not to belabor the point, but this is truly so deeply fucking petty of me to feel this way, let alone type this all out. iirc, the creator’s stated before how personally fulfilling and therapeutic writing these stories were for them, and absolutely more power to them on that. my annoyance should not supercede that in any way.

so i guess my point in all this is that i’m very very glad that shit’s over because constantly seeing it when i didn’t want to got to the point where it deeply upset me. nothing day-ruining, mind you, but always saddening. especially when it’s a bait and switch and i think originally that it’s art or whatever of regular hero. but i digress.

here’s to the creator’s next project, and me liking it more if i end up reading it ever. sorry for all this.

Remember when that one gacha game that looked like Breath of the Wild in a way was announced to come on the Switch?

When’s that gonna happen? I vaguely remember seeing that being announced like…oh man, last year maybe? Maybe two years ago?

i love most of Omori. I am replaying most of Omori. HOWEVER.

Unpopular opinion:

The final twist in Omori is lazy, comes too late to have any real impact, undercuts the rest of the game, and has been done to death by multiple other horror games. The game would have been stronger if it didn’t happen and it was actually just about suicide instead of manslaughter.

It would make sense, even, because Mari was clearly a perfectionist who had to be all things to all people and also project an image of flawless happiness. She is absolutely the kind of person who wouldn’t allow anyone to see how stressed she was about studying and her extracurriculars and the upcoming future where she wouldn’t see her family (who she clearly spent a LOT of time with) for years, until abruptly it all became too much for her and she couldn’t face living anymore. It humanises her. The twist being “actually no she didn’t have any inner demons, she was perfectly happy and happily perfect and the image of her in Headspace is actually exactly how she was in real life and isn’t just Sunny comforting himself with memories of her in happier times, her life was taken from her” flattens the emotional impact of the story.

Everyone’s emotions but Sunny’s (and maybe Basil’s) suddenly have less meaning because they’re based on false information, especially Faraway Aubrey’s. Her whole arc, which is literally about accepting that nobody is to blame for the way they acted after Mari’s death, is rendered invalid because Basil was acting weird because he fucking hanged Mari! Sunny was acting weird because he caused Mari’s death and then faked her suicide! That’s why they both abandoned her and why the photo album was defaced. She was right to take the album because she was the only person actually interested in preserving the happy memories. The game goes out of its way to establish that there is no guilt and Aubrey is acting irrationally, has her realise this and apologise, and then injects guilt into the story. Like... the whole focus of the tragedy switches in the last 5% of the game and it’s incredibly jarring.

The people left behind by suicides blame themselves, and given how close they were it would make a lot of sense that Sunny would feel like he killed her, so it’s not like you would have to change much about the rest of the game! Maybe Basil, who clearly struggles with some suicidal ideation shit himself, had a conversation with her that he feels put the idea in her head. Maybe Sunny heard her crying and hid inside his room instead of comforting her because he was upset that she was making him do the recital. Maybe they headed out to the treehouse together to hide there and skip the recital and that’s when they found her body, hence the appearance of the Something!

And yes I know, the message of the game is “you have to forgive yourself for your mistakes, even if those mistakes are pushing your sister down the stairs in a fit of rage, and then hanging her in your backyard instead of calling an ambulance, and then letting literally everyone else in your life believe that she’d committed suicide for four years, watching from inside your house as they tore themselves and each other apart out of guilt and grief, and also not being there to support the kid who helped you hang her, which is weirdly how the game starts, like the whole “promise me we’ll always be there for each other” thing, which is honestly just weird when it turns out that what you need to be there for him for is that he helped you fake a suicide and now he’s lonely,” but I really do think that that is a lesser message than what the game originally seemed to be building to.

Also none of Sunny’s friends are going to forgive him because he ends the game about to force them to relive her death and reset their healing process with the knowledge that everything they thought they knew about it was a lie. And then he just leaves! He moves away and effectively dodges all consequences for this revelation, but Basil is still there and is going to have to deal with everyone’s anger and betrayal. Like it’s nice that you could forgive yourself for lying to everyone for four years, Sunny, but if you think it’s gonna be that easy for everyone else you are wrong.

Double also Kel is my perfect baby child and deserves the world, the end.

Chapter 3

Sad Song

You woke in alone in your room and felt like you couldn’t move for what felt like hours. Hearing someone talking through the wall the voice sounded familiar but you couldn’t place it. Your mind was gone and all you felt was sadness flush over your system. You kept tears from falling from your eyes as you tried to hide away from the memories that now clouded your mind. Moments on a battlefield as you choked what looked to be a strong soldier with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. The blood that covered your hand and his lifeless body at your feet. You felt some kind of attachment to him but could not place what exactly it was. Before you could gather yourself you were being dragged out from your bed by Bucky.

“Wake up before they come in here.” He dropped you in the center of the hard concrete floor and walked away. You stood up and growled slowly at him.

“I’m not scared of them.” Huffing out those words before you saw two men in suits appear in front of you. One of them kneeled in front of you and gripped your wrist.

“Oh darling, you should be. For I control your every thought, breath and your very purpose for living. What you don’t seem to understand is I am your new brain. I control you and you do whatever I want you to.” You spat in his direction before feeling a hard hand go across your face.

“I could turn you into dust. Nobody controls me, Bitch.” You stood up ready to throw this stranger on the ground when Bucky all of a sudden slammed you into the concrete wall.

“You can’t hurt me. He’s trained to protect me at all costs, and soon you will be too.” He quickly left the room and you snarled towards Bucky wanting to rip out his voice box for slamming you into the wall.

“What the fuck was that Buck?” You shoved him out of your way and huffed off into your room. Bucky came chasing after you right as you blasted a purple orb into the concrete wall, leaving a dent. Your purple stone was glowing from your anger as you cried into your hands.

“This shouldn’t be my fucking life. I need to be out there with Steve and Tony and Natasha fighting people who want to control the world. Now I’ve been turned against all of them and I’m being used to battle them!” You looked up wincing at the sight of your new arm and leg. You noticed Bucky standing in your doorway looking as if he had seen a ghost.

“Steve....I know that name...the man from the bridge…HOW DO YOU KNOW STEVE ROGERS?!” Bucky gripped you by the shoulders in excitement. He had been wrestling with these thoughts since that event and had no idea.

“I work with him and the Avengers, we were on a mission to rescue you and I got hurt and captured. If I knew how long time had passed then I would know when we are getting out of this place.” Bucky gripped you tightly and you smiled noticing some relief showered over him, knowing that Steve was out there somewhere, hunting for him.

“Then we must get out of here...They can’t come here, if they get past the guards then they will use you and me against them and we won’t be able to stop until they are dead and bleeding at our feet.” Tears rose to your eyes and you turned into the wall, those weren’t nightmares you remember from this morning. They got you again, pushed that into your mind.

“Let’s escape. I don't know how yet but we will get out of here. I know all of the underground ways to get in touch with them.” You and Bucky shook hands and heard the door swing open to hit the wall. Seeing six guys in full black gear they shot you with a dart into your flesh arm and before your eyes closed you saw Bucky punching one of them in the face, making him fall to the ground lifeless.

(Soon After)

Back in the same room where you had demolished Bucky’s arm when you first got here. He stood in front of you, sadness filled his eyes as he darted towards you. This must be it, this is where he is going to kill you because HYDRA doesn’t think you are strong enough to be an ally for them. As you ducked and rolled out of Bucky's way you lit up your purple stone.

“Buck...I don’t want to hurt you. Snap out of it please!” You screamed before he pinned you to the ground, his hands were around your neck. You started to lose breath and hit him with a blast from your stone, hitting his face. He turned back to you filled with anger and blood dripped from the cut you had just given him. You looked around quickly and saw a group of people dressed in lab coats up in a little room watching you both. They were all writing things down on their clipboards and you saw Bucky coming up behind you. Flipping him over your body you heard loud clapping from the room up above you two. Thinking quickly you closed your eyes and began to focus up on the room. Being interrupted by Bucky slamming your head into the concrete floor you rolled over onto your back and kicked yourself to a standing position. You turned around and propelled Bucky into the back wall. WIthout hesitation you focused on the upper room again and all of a sudden you were standing in the middle of the room. You could see Bucky looking around the room below for you and you stayed silent. Sneaking up behind the one guard you threw him into the glass, shattering it. All of the scientists turned to you in horror.

“If ANY of you move an inch I will snap my fingers and turn you into dust.” You glared around the room and saw one person reaching for a red switch on the wall. Snapping your fingers he disintegrated into dust covering the floor.

“I dare you.” You were lost in what to do now, you had no plan and just looked at everyone with anger about everything they had done to you. Out of the corner of your eye you saw a black and white video of Steve flickering on an old computer. Your breath was caught in your throat and you approached the screen. Grazing the picture with your fingers you went dark. A scientist had snuck up behind you and injected you with a tranquilizer like before. You felt yourself being moved and laid against something cold and wet. Your eyes flickered open and you were bound to a black mat laying in the center of the floor. Hearing loud boots nearing, you struggled to get out, something was working against your powers and you couldn’t escape.

“That was quite a stunt you pulled in there, My Dear.” The man had an accent to his voice, like Bucky’s. Seeing Bucky standing behind him you jerked your shoulder to go to him. THe blood was still fresh from where you hit him with your power and you felt sick to your stomach because of it.

“Învață O lecție, dar nu o omori” (Teach her a lesson, but dont kill her) The man stepped away into the corner and Bucky leaned over you. Bucky brought his foot up and slammed it into your stomach. Crying out in pain he continued hitting your stomach and switching your face. Several blows hit your cheek and mouth. You felt your blood pouring out of you and knew he was being controlled to do this. No matter how much it hurt he was only being used to inflict the pain. You felt a pain come to your center and winced as BUcky continued to beat you. The man slowly walked out of the room and you wondered with this torture would end.

“Destul de soldat ... Șterge-l.” (Enough Solider, Erase him) Bucky stopped as he followed the man down the hallway. You laid there in unbearable pain and two guards carried you to your room. Throwing you down onto the concrete you rushed up to hit the door, screaming at them. You turned around to hear the distant screams of Bucky from somewhere near.

“I hear you. I’m sorry.” You whispered to yourself. You knew they would never make him remember that. It would ruin their plans that they had for the both of you. (The next day)

You had stayed on the couch all night waiting for Bucky to come back but he never did. Did HYDRA kill him? Did they think you were the better ally to keep around? Were those screams the last you would ever hear him? These thoughts keep you up all night. Eating whatever mush they gave you for breakfast you heard someone stumble into the room and peeked around your room entrance. It was Bucky, laying there on the floor lifeless. The guards laughed and walked away from the room just leaving him there. Making sure it was safe you helped him up and placed him onto his bed. There were new marks all over him. Blood was coming out of new wounds and he looked like he had died a million times over and they kept bringing him back to life.

“Buck...Buck….BUCKY?!” You finally got him to open his eyes and the corner of his lips tugged into a smile. Your wounds from him were still very visible and you hoped he wouldn’t notice.

“Come lay with me, Please Princess.” Bucky’s voice was very hoarse and you could hardly make out what he said. You left his side and looked around you. Nobody was there, then you checked the sheets on the wall. In big red letters it said, NO TRAINING. You smiled knowing you could lay with him all you wanted today. Lifting yourself over him you moved against the wall and had Bucky nuzzle into your chest. Petting his hair you felt him grip your waist and you kissed his forehead. He pressed his head deeper into your neck and you remembered a song from somewhere that felt calming to you. You and I, We’re like fireworks and symphonies exploding in the sky. With you I’m alive. Like all the missing pieces of my heart they finally collide. So stop time right here in the moonlight, cause I don't ever want to close my eyes. WIthout you, I feel broke like I’m half of a whole. Without you, I’ve got no hand to hold. WIthout you, I feel torn like a sail in a storm. Without you... I’m just a sad song. Gently going along his spine with your fingers you felt his full weight against you. He was asleep, and everything seemed so right. You had to find a way to get out of here, with him. You aren't going to be hurt anymore by anyone. Looking up at the camera in the corner of Bucky’s room you rolled your eyes.

(Somewhere in HYDRA)

Several people were gathered around the surveillance system watching you and Bucky together.

“Commander, It’s working, They love each other. They will be an unstoppable force to use at your disposal.” Someone spoke out of the crowd and everyone split to let their leader through. Red Skull smiled devilishly at the video and laughed.

“Looks like I have discovered the true power of Love. They will be sent out with our attack next week, and nothing will be able to stop them after tomorrow.” Laughing as he left the room.
