two outta six.

had a fucked up dream that spurred this idea/au(?). basically the bad ending but Worse! only kel and aubrey remain and theyre coping (not).

basically, maris dead (whichs a given), sunny kills himself by jumping off the hospital roof, basil kills himself after getting released from the hospital, and hero - feeling like he failed mari again - ends up killing himself too. nobody finds out about the truth - would it even matter, anyway?

extra:

- aubrey visits polly a lot and helps her take care of basils garden

- polly ends up lending her one of basils vests ("it looks about your size, and i dont wanna throw it away...")

- aubrey pretty much spends all her time at kel's place (theres a spare bed now, anyway.)

- kel wears heros clothes often

- he also ties his hair with a warm coloured hair tie as a reference to sunny

- aubrey wears a red bow in reference to mari

- aubrey cuts most of her hair off, only some of the pink stays (shes waiting for her hair to grow more tl cut the pink off completely)

- kel doesnt cut his hair

- kel stops playing basketball ("i just dont feel like it.")

- aubrey barely sees the hooligans anymore ("i just- i need some time, okay?")

- they both keep basils photo album

- they cal sunnys mom every now and then to check on her

- they help each other with motivation to take care of their pets

- kel offers to help pack sunnys things but ends up freaking out once he gets inside his room; aubrey has to help

- kel and aubrey become pretty much inseparable.
