The post wasn’t long, but it had taken him hours to write. Dokja’s fingers hovered over the keyboard now as he read the words he had typed days ago:

Whether Yoo Joonghyuk is dating or not is none of our business. The man has the right to a personal life. He spends his days under constant scrutiny, performing and working tirelessly to meet fan expectations. Are we seriously going to crucify him for being spotted at a park with someone? Unlike his other posts, this one had gone viral. Over a million likes and shares, his tiny blog had exploded overnight. He’d received countless comments—some from diehard fans thanking him, others accusing him of hypocrisy. Dokja didn’t care much for either camp, but the attention was... overwhelming.

What truly caught him off guard, though, was the email he’d received shortly after.

The email was polite, and warm, even.

Subject: Yoo Joonghyuk - Request for Collaboration From: Ha Junghee (Yoo Joonghyuk’s Management Team)

Dear Kim Dokja, We sincerely thank you for your thoughtful and supportive commentary regarding the recent incident involving Mr. Yoo Joonghyuk. Your perspective has been a breath of fresh air amidst the controversy. In light of your post’s popularity, we would like to propose a collaboration to address public perception and improve Mr. Yoo Joonghyuk’s image. This collaboration would involve a brief public appearance and interview alongside Mr. Yoo Joonghyuk himself. As a token of our appreciation, we are prepared to offer compensation for your time and effort.

The offer had come with a figure that made Dokja’s eyes widen. A sum like that could cover months of rent, maybe even help him upgrade his perpetually laggy laptop.

Initially, he’d accepted for the money. Why wouldn’t he? He didn’t owe Yoo Joonghyuk anything. But as the hours passed, and Dokja reread the email, guilt began to gnaw at the edges of his thoughts. Yoo Joonghyuk, overrated as he was, didn’t deserve the backlash he was getting.

So, with an irritated sigh, Dokja had responded: I’ll do it. For free.

The response had come quickly, thanking him for his cooperation and confirming a date for the planned appearance.

Now, a week later, the whirlwind of media events was over, and Dokja found himself seated in the corner booth of an upscale private restaurant.

The restaurant was tucked away in the heart of the city, its entrance discreet and its interior bathed in warm golden light. Polished wood tables were set with pristine white tablecloths, each adorned with small, flickering candles. The hum of soft jazz played in the background, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and intimidating.

Dokja shifted uncomfortably in his chair, his eyes darting to the minimalist clock on the wall. He’d arrived ten minutes early, an unfortunate habit he couldn’t shake. The waitstaff had seated him in a secluded area, far from prying eyes, and now he sat alone, fidgeting with the edge of his water glass.

His thoughts wandered. What was he even supposed to say to Yoo Joonghyuk? The man’s management had insisted on this meeting as a gesture of appreciation, but Dokja couldn’t imagine the idol being particularly grateful. If anything, Joonghyuk probably saw him as an annoyance.

The door to the private dining room opened slightly, and Dokja’s breath hitched. He straightened instinctively, waiting to see if the man himself had finally arrived.

Looking for ORV (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint) roleplay!

I'm all caught up with the point reached in the Korean webtoon release. I'm still working my way through the novel, though (I just finished the Revolutionary Arc).

The characters I'm partial towards writing are Lee Hyunsung, Jung Heewon, Lee Jihye, Yoo Sangah, and Han Sooyoung, in no particular order of preference.

I have some ships I like more than others, but I'm a big multishipper, so I don't really mind who you want to write. I'm okay with platonic/non-romantic plots, too!

I write on Discord! My style ranges from semi-lit to lit. Honestly, I value a good effort into keeping the plot going rather than long and empty replies - that said, if you need an estimate, my replies are usually in the 250-450 words ballpark, but I mirror. I love putting our little guys in situations. The angstier, the better.

Looking for an Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint/ORV roleplay! I'm all caught up with the manwha Korean release and I need some RPs to cope with the big events of the latest chapters + the anime ! I'm parallel-reading the novel but I'm well into the epilogue so I'll be all caught up in no time (*side-eyes the side stories with a worried look* anyway...)

Some ground rules first:

I am over 18 years of age, so I'm looking for fellow adult writers. I roleplay mainly on Discord, but I can adapt to other apps if needed.

I enjoy literate threads, where we both work together in the plotting stages as well as in moving the plot forward. I prefer angst and drama to fluff and SoL plots, but I'm very willing to plot an AU that fits these criteria if you'd like. NSFW is to be expected, orv being orv, smut is accepted but not required.

The quiet ambiance of the small bookstore was broken only by the occasional rustle of pages being flipped or the soft footsteps of customers browsing the shelves. Kim Dokja sat in the corner, tucked away behind a stack of novels he had yet to buy, his nose buried in the first volume of a fantasy series. He seemed entirely in his element, blending seamlessly into the cozy atmosphere, as though he belonged to the bookshelves themselves.

You had noticed him earlier when you walked in—his quiet demeanor and the way his eyes darted over the text with an almost obsessive focus. It was hard to tell if he was lost in the story or simply avoiding the world around him.

Your footsteps echoed softly as you approached the shelf next to him, reaching for a book that had caught your eye.

“That one’s not as good as it looks,” came a quiet voice. Dokja didn’t even glance up from his book, as though he was talking to the air rather than to you. “The first few chapters are fine, but the plot falls apart halfway through.”

Information

Rp with Yoo Sangah , you’re both college students and there is no apocalypse, enjoy!

The background noise of the coffee shop rumbling adds to the gentle ambiance of the coffee shop , lulling you with a sense of security as your tense muscles slowly relax .

You and Yoo Sangah agreed to meet at this coffee shop at 3 pm for a project , but you decided to arrive a 10 minutes earlier, afraid of being late and making her wait on you.

A yawn is pulled from your mouth as you rest your cheek on the palm of your hand , being a college student means having a screwed sleep schedule because of all the assignments, and surviving off of coffee , though you can’t really go back now , you’re already a half of the year through.

You lift your coffee to your mouth and take a small sip of the bitter liquid, not wanting to burn off your tongue. Even if it tastes like a bitter 75% dark chocolate bar except as liquid , it does do the trick . However , it seems to work less and less throughout the year .

You set the coffee down on the wooden table and gently drum your fingers on it , looking at the clock , it felt like a good 20 minutes , however it’s been only 4 , the time being 2:54 pm.

You rest your cheek in the palm of your hand , beginning to fall asleep, but before you can fall asleep, a gentle hand shakes your should and a soft voice asks you ,”Did I keep you waiting for too long? I apologize if I did!”
