Hi! Anonie! Hmmm… well, I guess you mean what programs/apps I use? I use illustrator for quicker stuff and then sometimes procreate. Buuuut if those are not available then i suggest Canva or PicsArt. Both have (if I’m not mistaken) phone apps and that can be a bit more convenient for some. (I think PicsArt is better since it has the option to save with PNG and transparent background for free)

AHHH I almost forgot! XD you can also paint over any line divider with your phone’s editing tool. Tbh… that’s the easiest method I can think of rn.

For line dividers sizes I use 1300x11px or 5120x44px

For banners like 18+, MDNI and any words, I use 1812x90px (one line) or 1812x190px (two lines of words).

Then I try to make sure the fonts I use are legible enough. No fancy letters! Sometimes simple is best! Remember, most of the times those banners are warnings and the reader has to be able to see them clearly.

Then color… this one is a bit complicated because tumblr has different themes. Some use light mode others use dark mode or the purple and rainbow ones… yeah… so I try to make colors that can work in all those themes. *cries in I overthink too much* it’s not necessary, but since I want ppl to read my work and warnings I try to work around this issue… sad I know.

And if you’re not into ALL THAT 😂😂? There are plenty of wonderful resources for themes and pinned posts. The tumblr creative community is amazing! They cater for all tastes and fandoms 😫🤲🏻✨💕
