here is a list of what was in this show, and in what ways they updated/changed the pieces of music they played, and what they never played before. with a dash of commentery:

i am the doctor is the first track, neat, they did the Proms version, which combines the Pandorica speach theme right at the end

all the strange strange creatures, which yeah another Proms staple, it had a few touches of fresh violins in the end we did not hear before

they did a suite for the entire classic who themes they did play that night, apperently the two people behaind the rediophonic workshop were there to play it as well! that's neat, the 60s cyberman theme, (i love it dearly, got obsessed with it pretey recently lol), they also did some stuff that i would not know to recognize if there is anything new about them: the sea devils theme, the city of death, and the 5 doctors! the same classic who themes they played i the proms 2013, either way they sound very nice, the orchestra really nicely blends in with the syntonizer and it feels like a loving hug.

oooh and they have a mini interview with mark and peter from the radiophonic workshop!

Abigail's Song (Silence Is All You Know) is very neat as well, no changes but its very nice. and they dedicated the piece to Michael Gambon, that's sweet

omg Steven Moffet hello, i did not remember seeing him on the cast list. they are using the season 4 intro as like an in between piece to welcome guests on stage by the way, his interview in nice but short, mostly talking in short about his time as a show runner and the diffrence between Matt and Peter.

This is Galiffray is next, pretty standard but again beutifully played

the long song is next, no child singer, the same singer as Abagail's song as well, but gosh!! they included in it the part of the theme of this song that played when 11 regenerated?? and the new singing then payerd over it. it is the same theme part that played when the actual speech of the long song played, in front of the living planet, but without the speech itself it really takes you back to his regeneration in my option, they then layerd the singing part over it in a very nice harmony that made me tear up 😭 . once again just like they did in the proms 2013, but this version feels very updated

the companions suite, they went Rose - Amy, which sad no clara, bill or any other companion, but its nice to hear those themes again, also Martha's theme got a little bit more Wind Instruments and violins then usual! which extended it a little and that was very nice. it also felt like Donna's theme was a little bit quieter then usual, they also combined Amy's theme little starting notes to fuze organicly into the theme itself, the xylophone very imbeded into the theme instead of it standing out like in earlier performances. and gave it a little bit of extra notes right at the end.

Emily Cook interview! she apperently played in the orcestra in the show as well with the saxophone. and talking about the doctor who lockdown project! (i cannot believe i never knew about this thing's existance??? holy shit,)

Doomsday, had a fancy and really funky gaiter solo, much similer to when it was preformed at the proms in 2008, but this time its very distinctive, not playing along singing at all, just pure gaiter goodness, really enjoyable

Vale Decem was really funky! nothing new but as bombastic as ever, screaming its way to your ears

Am i a good man!! very nice to see a Peter theme finally making its way to the fold, though a lot of them were preformed at Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular 2015, it was a much smaller scale as to the proms and this show is definitly bigger, god i used to be so obsessed with this themeee its not even funny, the version is very similer to there and you can reallly feel the drums punping at the start and its really energetic

omg twice upon a time?? damm, actual music released from something past season 9??? insane about this actually, oh i have never heard this before, its so gentle and remenicit of am i a good man in such a beautiful way, giving them theme a call back with emotinal and more action based end, it also adds the known and notable singer and some stuff from rtd era doctor theme?? and some funky violins from i am the doctor?? all leading to a fine finish?? i am in shock and aw. its like a finishing theme from Marry Gold to his era of the show. damm (if you are worried about The Shepherd's Boy, that will come later!)

a chris chibnall and Segun Akinola interview! Chris talking about the scrutiny he got for his era, and excitment about the whole thing, and Segun Akinola talking about the stress of the job and the freedom he got. THEY ARE ALL SO EXCITED FOR THE FACT THAT HIS THEMES FOR DOCTOR WHO ARE FOR THE FIRST TIME BEING PREFORMED AND I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT IT AS WELL HOLY SHIT

FINALLY the woman who fell to earth suite! confirmed to have: the woman who fell to earth, spyfall, power of the doctor, and a few suprises?? 👀 god i am once again becoming emotinal, i love 13's theme so much. the spyfall theme is so recognizable for its bond influence and so fun!! 13 era loves will know a lot more then me on the rest of it but god its so fun. DEMONS OF THE PUNJAB!! TRADITINAL INDIAN MUSIC WITH A FANTASTIC SINGER, god i wish we could watch this visualy. 13s regeneration theme is so GOOD IM CRYING, what can i even say, they didn't have the libraty of changes as this was the first and might be the only preformance of these themes, as little changes as possible for what i've noticed, but still, what a rollercoster of emotions

The Life of Sunday (Ruby's Theme) ...oh? piano? a lone and qiuet piano? a quiet and sad sounding theme? oh it expands! omg the slowely building violins?? the violins are truly the stars of this evening, and then the hopeful theme ends and now the violins are not celebrating the piano, they are moving towards a sad but nice main part. oh we are jumping forwad a little! oh wow, this is truly like a valce. the piano is the star but to what end? its slightly hopeful but very mournful existance

a lot of the versions had a little bit of a rytham change in most of the peices, little bits where you would think "oh is it out of rythem?" but no, its just a slight change in tempo, i guess to make the versions played here to stand out a little.

Marry Gold interview! hello! omg its so weird to hear his voice again. talking about his new era and coming back to who.

Fifteen, WHAT THE HELL THIS IS STARTING LIKE A SUPERHERO THEME?? oooh we are leading to an action based middle, the bassons are controling the theme! the trumpets!! its bloody danceable!! i am stimming all over the room! its fucking danceable!! it feels very action based very much like i am the doctor, a lot of rising violins, usually singeling hope, this feels like... such a fresh and new doctor. but it doesn;t sound... excited, it feels like a man on the run, it has a very clear dessperation going in, and i am neglecting to find any quiet moment if and they exist at all. the rising of the hope comes very sparadicly, much like Ruby's . it feels like they are contredicting each other simply by nature, but both of them are constantly searching for hope and i guess happines? accept he feels like he is searching for... quiet, peace, DAMM i gotta relisten to this to get more understanding of it

The Shepherd's Boy!!! FIRST TIME PREFORMING. god i am emotional once again, you can clearly hear the diffrent instruments individually at the start, the violins are lovely the chelos and everything else is really beautifully building up itself, the drums. the choir! all rising! they added the chior to the part right before the end!! added chior overoll andmakin it much more stand out as opposed to the soundtrack version. the drums were eceptinal!! in all of peter's era music. god its great

Doctor Who Theme (2023 version), lets go! the pianos! the quiet violins!! people have pointed out its similer to the movie middle eight and that's very true, the piano is truly the star of this theme and it shows!(edited) i am buzzing this was as great and better then i expected

i think most people who know me esp outside tumblr know i reallly love butchery. specifically i love gutting fish, and i have a favourite organ to see (which is a totally normal thing to have), which is the pyloric caeca. it's this organ that looks like a bundle of worms in the digestive tract of some species of fish. the day i drew that, while i hadnt butchered any fish, i did eat a smoked fish and it has the entire digestive system intact, including the pyloric caeca ! i was inspired by that. many beautiful things in the world...some of which are inside the guts of a fish. to me

:DDDDD omg I'm vibrating thank you so much for the questions!!

1. My favorite part of making the comic would probably be the shading and lighting. I do digital art in a few steps; lineart, rendering background, flatting in character colors, shading on characters, and finally, lighting. The last two steps are my favorite because they're so satisfying . I'd have to say my least favorite thing to do digitally is lineart, cause it takes a very long time(and when it's not lineart, it's rendering cobblestone)

2. OOOH panels that I'm proud of! A lot of them XD especially the ones in the most recent update. I did a ton of playing with light sources there, to the point where I had... Four different light sources coming at four different angles. It was a ton of fun to do, and the results are very nice to look at!

3. The most complicated character to draw, well id say that changes from page to page. I'd say overall, Wild with his poncho on is the most complicated to draw, just because of the patterns. When Wild loses the poncho, the title of most complicated to draw would probably go to Captain.

4. Top three character designs I like, OOOH hrmmmm... I think my top favorite design would be Legend, closely followed by Wild, and then Fairy. I just love drawing them, and I love their designs so much!

zelda tangled au anyone?

imagine ganon knows only link can defeat him so he kidnaps him as a six year old and takes him to an abandoned tower in hyrule forest with the intention of corrupting him and the master sword to get them on his side. zelda has been told all her life that the power of hylia is in her, but she hasn't unlocked it yet, and the pressure is getting too much so she sets off to find the "legendary future swordswoman" who went missing years ago because "if i can't unlock my powers, maybe she can help me."

one day, she finds the master sword (which ganondorf has been hiding near the tower because he's saving it for when he finally figures out a way to corrupt it, harness its power, and take over hyrule). she's like "oh my god what if the swordswoman is around here somewhere😱."

MEANWHILE link is in the tower with their gorgeous long hair (and maybe wolf link as a sidekick instead of pascal?), and every year on his birthday, the leaders of all the villages get together and hold a little mourning/prayer ceremony for her bc signs of the calamity are approaching fast, and they're hoping link shows up soon, especially with zelda's power not being awakened yet. link desperately wants to go see the ceremony (they don't know what it's for, just that there are a lot of beautiful lights and the dragons of hyrule all come together as well), but obviously ganondorf won't let him.

THEN zelda finds the tower and scales it. link is all "HYAH!!!!!!" and the scene where eugene is trapped in the chair with rapunzel's hair plays out between the two of them except it's just a lot of link being like 😡😡and zelda being like 🤭omg this guy's reallly good with a weapon...looks a lot like the descriptions of...WAIT OMG ITS THE LEGENDARY SWORDSWOMAN🤭 link is like "i mean 1/3 woman i guess."

eventually, zelda convinces link to leave the tower with a bargain like "if i take you to the swordswoman ceremony, will you tell me about ganondorf?" (she already suspects it's THE ganondorf ykyk), and link is hesitant because zelda is telling them that the person they've been raised by is evil, but he really wants to see the ceremony, so he goes. they cut their hair to its length in totk and it really validates her gender yk? and when zelda sees how happy link is in her newfound freedom and gender expression she's like "well i have to tell him the truth about who he is"

she doesn't want to because it'll shatter link's worldview and newfound peace, and she doesn't want to put a burden on their shoulders (bc hylia knows she knows what that's like), but she does it anyway. at this point, link is beginning to get flashes of memories from his childhood and realize what zelda is trying to tell her is true, so both of them go to kakariko village to talk to impa (and they plan to talk to the champions after), but once they get there, ganondorf is there waiting in front of the desecrated former village like HEY POOKIE. FOUND YOU. MISS ME?

he takes link captive again and accelerates his plans to take over hyrule. link is trying to find a way out, and zelda is trying to find a way to help him, but it's not working out very well lmao. meanwhile zelda goes to the champions and asks for their help, relaying everything she knows, and the champions make a plan to get link and stop ganondorf. they get to the area where the tower is, but ganondorf was expecting this and takes them captive

as this happens, link doesn't know what's going on and is alone in the tower. he finds the master sword and the secret tower staircase, but it's a trap laid by ganondorf to manipulate link into joining him because link escapes the tower only to find zelda and the champions all tied up and stuff. the bargain is like "join me and i won't kill your friends when i rule, but refuse and i'll kill them slowly and make you watch" (i came up with this on the spot i know it's a rough plot WORK WITH ME😭🙏)

link being link challenges ganondorf to a duel, and ganondorf accepts purely out of amusement bc at this point he thinks "link can't defeat me yet since he's been locked in the tower; he's only a danger if he's been trained." link whoops his ass, but ganondorf harnesses the power of the calamity at the last second (which he was planning to do just to teach link a lesson in obedience and whatever). he whoops LINK'S ass, but just as link is about to get killed, zelda's powers Come To Life, and she saves him. then they all work together to defeat ganondorf and they all live happily ever after

OD reveal my beloved <3 everything about kdj just makes me cry man. i did not think i was gonna get attached to him as much as i am now 😭😭 maybe i was jaded from the multiple shitty isekai anime and manga i've read but i really just wasn't expecting kdj to have such character- ALL of the characters to be so lovable and make me want to cry, cheer and cherish all of them. ESPECIALLY yoo joonghyuk, man the early days of orv where i thought he was gonna be the typical punching bag asshole, unimportant side-character, who the mc gives a beatdown to as some kind of power play(?) 😭 embarassing. hahahhaha

i feel like thats exactly orv's goal. to lure you in with a bunch of trendy genres and tropes and then somewhere down the line it hits your psyche at your most vulnerable. you see kdj being so confident in his knowledge of the world, so omniscient, so to speak, that you simply do not need to question his otherwise eyebrow-raising deeds. he says that helping lgy was hypocritical. he tells ysa that he threw the insect net in her direction by coincidence. he says that yjh is a cold psycho who only cares about seeing the end of the scenarios. and you end up "believing" him. bcs he's omniscient

but then, fast forward a few scenarios later and kdj prioritizes lgy over himself and gives him to yjh to fill the green zone. fast forward a few scenarios more and kdj saves ysa's life with 4th wall's help. he sees yjh lose it when he dies in front of him. he gets so emotional when he finds out yjh has come to the demon realm for him (albeit kdj always seems to give yjh the short end of the stick by Doubting him but by this point we know that he may not be as omniscient as we first thought. especially when it comes to knowing everything about yjh)

fun fact abt me i also kinda went into orv 'blind' so to speak. sure i knew who od sp and tls123 were in names only but the actual revelations shook me to my core regardless 😭😭

Its been so long since ive started drawing this FREAK ASS storyline and on like a random tuesday it dropped back into my lap AND im always thinking abt it ALWAYS thinking abt lore im a nerd)) BUT IM DRAWING THEM AGAIN YIPPIEEEEEEE

its so insanely cringe talking about these 3 guys lore cuz they are like,,, the same guy,,,, which happens to be ME LMAO

ANd then im reminded that this entire story is like Life and Death and Heaven and infinite realities and found family and open ended ending because there is nothing that deems these guys will ever find peace,, which all comes from this dream i had in 2019 LOL

Im very slowly putting out the story on my toyhouse and its very fun but id much prefer lik talking about it or just jumbling it all out irl and just ranting out the storyline through words (BUT ITS SO EMBARRISINGBHIDRGFY) and yet at the same time i crave to just have it ALL ORGANIZEDDDDD and out of my brain!!!! rAHHH

man i draw these guys a LOT though the story is not just like about these three, i reallly like getting into all the backgrounds and hinting at like lore and stuff (MORE LIKE TRAUMA LOL) Like what makes these characters work and such,

Whenever i do think of like the rest of the story and how id actually express the stpryline, and the whole plot of The After Nothing its more or less from outsiders (the other ocs) finding out about everything, "who is this guy and how did he get to the After?" "How are you alive but souless??" "Ew oh my god is the DRAGON YOUR SOUL???" "What do you MEAN youve died and every peice of soul is going to you because youve LOST YOUR OWN REALITY????" "YOURE BEING CHASED??????" and all of that info being forced out of some guy who just does not know how to comprehend being a person (because he isnt exactly one)

i have a few comics in mind!!! (shitty sketchbook example above) so as soon as i reintroduce like the main characters to my insta (through the wip in this post) Ill definetely get a move on to some silly interactions, before they meet the whole main plot and other characters!!!!!

so yippieee!!!! major coping being done through my creative process and my enjoyement of alternate realities, vessels, Life and Death, Heaven and Hell, and exploring what exactly makes a person act the way they do!!!!!!!!!!!

HIIIIII EM, omg okay so this is going to be a bit long. But as of right now, I do pay for njpw world (njpw's streaming service) but, for past non-njpw matches, I've been trying to find them online. I love wrestling but, I haven't really gotten the burning urge to sit and watch a show lately :/ I'm going to put the rest under read more

I do loosely follow other promotions but, I don't reallly sit down and watch them, just watching clips and reading results.

For American promotions, I really like Mustafa Ali, I have loved him since 205 Live and I'm rooting for him because he's so cool and talented. I don't really have to many faves in wwe because I don't really follow it rip but, I have always loved Bayley and I like the members of Damage CTRL. Tiffany is sooooo talented I'm very impressed. I've always rooted for Naomi too. I also always like Kevin and Sami. When I was younger I loved, John Cena and Randy and the Shield, Finn Balor lol. My past faves were Layla, Eve Torres. I liked Ricochet from when he was in Lucha Underground. The Rey Mysterio of course. Carmelo and Trick have peaked my interest!

For AEW, I really like Takeshita! He's fantastic! Ospreay is good but I'm hot and cold about him. I've been mostly interested in Japanese wrestling lately. So of course I like Okada, Shibata, Riho, Hikaru Shida. Willow and Kris Stat are wonderful too. Queen Aminata has been really awesome lately. Thunder Rosa, I will always root for her. I really like Swerve and Hangman and of course this champion Joe. I do somewhat like BCC (Yuta especially I miss him!!) I like DG and Lee Moriarty. The Lucha Bros and Pac are a;so great. I also almost always root for fellow nyers like Eddie Kingston!

My main promotion rn is NJPW and they've been going through a transitional phase rn so you'll hear a lot of people say how it sucks but, I don't really agree. My faves are LIJ currently and I think BC War Dogs are cool. My main faves right now are the Reiwa 3 Musketeers who are (Shota, Ren, and Tsuji). Shota makes my brain go brrr I can't help it he's captivated me :)

but yes yes!!! so like i said i haven't had much energy to work on stuff lately, but i do have some things i've been bouncing around! a big thing is a tftgs fanfic character study i'm tentatively titling "in case you don't live forever," centered around jack and his relationship with his ex-girlfriend sabine.

sabine is such a fascinating character to me for loads of reasons, many of them being the fact that we learn basically nothing about her. she is the epitome of a character who haunts the narrative, at least in my opinion, and this started as like... me exploring what i think she was like. what kind of person she was. it then evolved into an exploration of what might've happened if sabine had *lived* and gotten to be happy.

so it's an au where she and jack run away together and start a new life in a new state. it's super emotional and tender and sweet and writing it is really cathartic and healing for me. i'm also using it as an opportunity to explore concepts that are tried and true multi-lefaiye classics: mental health, trauma, queerness, and how they all blend together at times. most of all, though, it's about healing.

It’s just after two in the morning on a Saturday night in mid-2007, and for the last time, Sabine Lemoyne stands alone in her childhood bedroom.

She’s had this room since she was eight, and the decorations haven’t changed much in the following decade. The walls are the same soft, muted purple she adored growing up, plastered with posters for old movies and bands she hasn’t listened to in years, and it nicely complements the pink shag carpet beneath her feet. Her immaculate bedspread is bright and cheery, covered in colorful illustrations of grinning flowers and vibrant greenery. Her favorite childhood stuffed animal, a little pink cat named Eevie, sits on the desk across from her bed, watching her with vacant glass eyes.

Her room has always brought her some modicum of comfort, a sanctuary of peace and solitude in a tumultuous world, but now, standing in the mausoleum of times long since passed, it feels stifling. She can’t breathe in here.

Sabine has to leave. And that’s exactly what she intends to do.

The duffel bag on her bed has been packed for days now, and she’s only just finished packing the backpack leaning against it. Inside the duffel bag, she’s packed clothes, books, and an extra pair of shoes; the backpack, meanwhile, holds her toiletries, six hundred dollars in cash, and two laminated folders. Inside one folder are two bus tickets, set for departure in one hour.

his girl wants to be left alone? he'd do it (even if he's pouting the entire time), his girl wants to have a relaxing bath? he's preparing it already, his girl just wants cuddles and to lay down together in silenece? he's ready for it (doesn't matter if he's got duties to fulfil, his mate needs him and he's going to be there as long as she wants him)

I am so sorry this is so long, dear god it is so long. I also apologize for how disorganized this is omg

T is a character that is infected with a type of yeast that makes it possible to “escape death” via replacing cells at a faster rate. This doesn’t affect brain cells, only slowing down the rate at which the cells die. This leaves empty cells in the brain that don’t reallly have the capacity to learn new things permanently or remember anything. This only causes issues after a longgg time. Meaning someone infected with the yeast slowly looses their capacity to function. Destruction of any part of the brain that would kill a regular person also kills an infected person. Sort of like a zombie that slowly looses themselves over time.

T is the adoptive son of this other character who had been infected by that yeast for over 500 years. T is a quarter East Asian, with short black hair and dark brown eyes. He is gay and mayyyybe trans I forget.

T’s adoptive father is named Michel Hobbs, and he worked as a field scientist with the Canadian governments secret military that investigated monsters and aliens and shit. They were looking into tremors under a remote area in the Yukon when they find a massive dying creature. A leviathan. The leviathan thrashes around as it withers in pain and it knocks Michel off of a ledge and into a bubbling pit of water. By the time the team retrieves him it’s too late. Michel is “dead”. The team leave the cave and seal it off, deeming it too dangerous to explore further. They have to sit in the belly Fo a plane with their dead friend as they fly back to base.

A week later, after Michel has been buried for a few days, he digs his way up. He has maggots in his skin and can barely breathe. The government scoops him up and runs test, unable to find out why he’s alive. Deciding he is an asset, they put him right back where he came from.

Michel Hobbs is a light skinned half East Asian man raised by two mothers with his brother on Cape Breton island, Nova Scotia. He has a PhD in microbiology and is a massive advocate for conservation of large marine animals. He is ace/aro and gay.

The second really important character in this is his husband. William Winters is a black man who is a general in that super secret sci-fi Canadian military thing. He has a BA in history. He had a wife and 2 kids, but his wife divorced him and left him with the kids once Michel died and William is left dealing with a lot of complex feelings and. Pretty bad trauma after watching his best friend die. His ex wife isn’t framed as in the wrong per-say? She has her reasons and while they aren’t entirely moral they end up being on decent terms years later. William raises his kids and does his best for a long time. He finds out the Michel IS alive and after a lot of distress they end up together after another year and a half of working together. They end up getting married at 37/39 and live the rest of their days in happiness until William dies from cancer at 94. Michel is there for his children’s children’s children until he leaves for good, unable to watch more people he loves die.

Michel lives, and after a catastrophic event decimates the world about 50 years later, a federation of aliens step in to help.

See, worlds are kept alive by the presence of god like entities called “leviathan” there are two per world on a healthy planet and they reproduce to spread life to the universe. They are partially responsible for aliens and humans having significant similarities and being able to like. Have kids and stuff. They have been in the universe since before the Big Bang and are theorized to have been from a universe BEFORE the Big Bang. Their blood holds the key to all life.

Earth killed one of its leviathan via pollution and environmental degradation, so now the human home world is a massive city sitting upon barren rock. They farm in massive buildings and the world is rife with exploitation and poverty.

This is even after the aliens help, corruption runs in deep in the universe. Humans were on the cusp of inventing safe and light speed space travel and after help from the many alien species are able to traverse among the stars, seeking resources to collect and planets to explore.

Space travel is controlled heavily by the government, which leads to pirates and bounty hunters becoming a vital part of how lower class beings survive. The government turns a blind eye most of the time, it gives them less responsibility over the under privileged.

Before the world died, Michel had collected DNA from as many creatures as he could. Paranoia is part of the reason he is so successful honestly lol. He had used his now vast amount of wealth to purchase a dead planet to repopulate with the cloned species he created. Using alien technology and his knowledge gained from his job he is able to populate the world with a large majority of earths former fauna. It becomes a garden of eden, and he is the god that looks over it. 200 years pass.

T is the son of an upper class family, and after he gets killed and comes back while exploring pipes below the world the government just dumps him with Michel. T has never seen any animal that isn’t domesticated, so upon being picked up and taken to the new earth he is amazed.

Years pass, T grows into a teenager. Michel buys him an alien creature that is also functionally immortal, aware of how lonely the world can become. Michel is. Not the greatest father? He is very hands off. Therefore T becomes VERY overconfident and does not care when he gets hurt because he can “just heal”. Michel at that point is loosing his memory, and spends days looking over his old journals in a feverish attempt to remember his husband and family. He is not a good father, and not a good person to be around. The world is alive around him and the one leviathan left threatens Michel with a fate worse then death if he doesn’t maintain it. Michel does nothing more than work on maintaining the planet and re reading his journals. Stuck in a near endless cycle year after year.

T, not liking the lack of attention and paranoia of his fathers steals Michels old shuttlecraft and leaves to explore the universe. Stumbling into situations and getting himself out with luck, rapid healing, and guns. He eventually becomes a bounty hunter!

In this universe, humans are seen how we see pigeons. Cute yes, but dumb and generally incapable. This is blatantly wrong but leads to pretty bad treatment of humans. A war breaks out between two sides of the federation, one side believes that “lesser beings” like humans should not be afforded the same rights as others, and the other is like “no what the hell is wrong with you??”.

This war goes on for decades, and many alien settlements (including human ones as well) are razed to the ground and their inhabitants taken to work in factories or as prisoners. Obviously, many of the people in the “lesser beings don’t matter” planets do not believe this and either leave or fight on planet to stop the atrocities. This conflict is like. Pretty black and white lol.

T often has a lot of trouble beating the stereotype of being weak, and even more so when he is assigned by the mob boss he owes to work with an alien from a species that very much believes humans are lesser. This alien is named Sol. Sol fully believes in the stereotypes until T proves him wrong.

They become tentative friends at that point. They do the job, and upon discovering the mob boss paired the two together to kill T, they kill the mob boss. They continue to work together and use their unconventional team to play both sides of the war, freeing humans and other aliens as well as pretending one or the other is captured to get past enemy lines. They eventually end up being gay 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 wooooo. The alien species lives close to a thousand years, so they don’t have to worry about loosing each other any time soon.

In this universe, soulmates meet each other and die within the same time frame. Michel and William were soulmates, and due to Michel not dying William is reborn again and again and again. Never quite coming close to meeting Michel again. (t and sol are also soulmates, technically.)

Until the newest iteration of William’s city is destroyed by the military and his family killed in front of him. Prior to this, he was a math teacher in one of the schools in the city. He joins up with the military and becomes a pilot. In a firefight above the solar system Michel is in, his shuttle is shot down and he crash lands on the planet. He is the only one of his squadron to survive.

Upon opening his cockpit, he comes face to face with Michel.

Williams is identical to the Williams Michel once new, hundreds of years ago. And it’s frightening for Michel! So he feeds him and clothes him and lets him stay in Ts old cabin. He barely interacts with him, afraid of the ghost of a man he once loved.

William is enamoured by Michel, and follows him like a lost puppy much to Michel’s dismay. He uses skills he learned in the military to track him and stick close. Michel has to save him from predators multiple times and eventually has to get the man to stick with him. He still keeps him at an arms length, afraid of falling for him. Michel doesn’t want to like. Take advantage of the guy, Yknow?

William finds one of Michels old journals, and finds a picture of the im first iteration of him with Michel and their kids. He shows it to Michel and demands he explain. Michel explains to the best of his ability, it’s the most William has heard him talk since they met. William hugs Michel, and it’s the first time in many years he has been hugged.

They stay friends for awhile, and eventually are sort of in a QPR? It’s a strange situation, and neither of them really know what to do. They are just happy to be close. They are happy to not be alone and they are happy to have found some semblance of peace.

Anddddd that’s all I ever had in my little noggin!!!! It was so fun writing this out again, I missed this universe and these characters so much.

i just need to RANT abt how good woonhak is at performing. he was literally born for it. even when the camera isnt focused on him he gives the best facial expressions; so his fancams r always fun to watch.. unfortunately my heart was a little cracked a bit earlier but i got a pep talk from my friend and now i'm chilling like a villian >:3 just have to imagine white hair yungyu, he's literally so perfect and amazing omg

yungyu rant real quick : honestly when he first dyed his hair blue and cut it super short i was a little iffy about it because it was definitely new! but honestly it ended up growing on me a lot and i absolutely loved it. i mean in general, i think yungyu looks great in everything ehe. THEN WHEN IT STARTED GROWING OUT A LITTLE BIT I ALMOST EXPLODED like it was at that perfect length where it wasn't too short and it wasn't too long. i was thinking about hair colors i'd like to see him in and i was REALLLY fucking with the idea of blonde or red haired yungyu. and low and behold.. i wake up to see little clips of them busking in seoul and his hair was coming out of his hat a little. IT WAS WHITE. my soul genuinely left my body AND ALL THE PHOTOS HE SENT IN PLUS CHAT I CANNOTTT he's genuinely such a handsome boy and i love him so much, but it also makes me a little sad that he's growing </3 i remember how much of a cutie he was during 8turnrise era ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAD THEIR DEBUT SHOWCASE AND THEY WORE THE LITTLE CAT EARS he was just so small and precious, and now he has me fanning myself with an imaginary fan because he has seriously progressed so much. vocal wise and looks wise. when i saw him at kcon he was seriously unreal and i almost started crying AHHH in my brain he's still my little bom boy :,3 when he talks about debut / trainee days i get so emotional. because that era of 8turn is also when i started getting into kpop so it's for reals such a core memory. i remember when i only stanned stray kids and 8turn, i had photos of them all over my room HAHA not that i don't anymore, yungyu has a mini shrine on my desk with one of my fav pc's framed and the crochet thing i made of him ehe. anyways enough of my yungyu rant...

so far, my day is going okay? i'm trying to cram some writing in because i have a huge idea and i want to release it ON halloween, but i'm always so busy so i want to finish it up. it involves 8turn! (and a game i've been hyperfixating about for the past month......) NO MORE HINTS! but yes ehe it'll take me awhile since there's a lot of details that go into it... i'm not going to spoil anything bc i don't wanna get up your hopes and i end up not finishing AJAJSJHD BUT IF I DO FINISH IT WILL MAKE SENSE WHY IT'S SUCH A COMPLICATED THING TO WRITE ABOUT

okay. i do have those complicated thoughts and feelings actually i just needed some time to mourn the version of ward that existed in my head. this is gonna be a purely selfish post but i need to get these thoughts out of my fucking brain.

i first got into parahumans by blasting through worm in just under two weeks and then immediately moving on to ward because i was like omg more worm?? sign me up. then i blasted through ward and caught up with the story around the time the goddess arc was wrapping up.

during this time my life fell to pieces and then fell to pieces again, with almost exactly a year between those moments. my one and really only constant that i could look forward to were new ward chapters.

as one can probably surmise from my postings on this blog, i got deeply invested in the characters. vicky and ashley were kinda everything to me. i even had a presley moment and bleached my hair bc ashely is the coolest ykno

anyways. this is kinda corny but i got into this mindset of like. okay. this victoria dallon girl has so many problems. this is a book about dealing with trauma. so if victoria dallon can be okay then so can i

it was with that mindset and approach that i was able to ignore everything that's uhh. not so great about ward. the constant no-homoing, the weird politics, amy dallon, the works. and when ward ended and vicky was okay i was like. yes. this is fantastic. what a wonderful book. and then i immediately re-read the book and came to a similar conclusion while acknowledging that some parts reallly drag.

and then i moved on with my life! and yeah! i'm okay! i'm happier than i've been in god knows how long and my life hasn't fallen to pieces for the third time (yet, who fucking knows)

which brings me to now. i knew there were good criticisms of ward out there but it'd been so long that i wanted to re-read and re-evaluate for myself and. well. as i said, tasteless poison.

it's not that i truly hate the book- it's still important to me and it always will be. but it's not perfect. far from it. and the things that were so easy for me to ignore years ago are no longer so easy to ignore.

so i guess i'm feeling a little lost when it comes to ward. but at the same time i feel like i can finally let it go. it doesn't need to live in my brain anymore. it probably will but it doesn't need to. if that makes sense.

more than anything though, i feel like i can finally breathe.

i thought i would have all these complicated feelings and thoughts after re-reading ward this time but no i just feel empty. hollowed out. 2 million words of tasteless poison
