Omg actually very excited about this WIP game that @ltwharfy tagged me in

Anyways the rules go that in a new post, list the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them and then post a little snippet of it or tell them something about it. And then tag as many people as you have WIPs.

I've not been active on here the past week or two and have no idea who has done this or not, so if you see this and you haven't been tagged yet, consider yourself tagged! (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

Funny enough I don't have a specific wip folder, but rather I break things down by fandom/universe so I'll be doing my best to compile everything under Bob's burgers/not Bob's burgers. That's really where my focus is right now lol

I'm also very much a believer in valuing having story ideas even if they go nowhere, so more than a few of these are just that, but please ask anyways! I'm excited to tell people about the things I'm working on

I've also got 'master docs' for my longer stories, which I use to draft plots and create a continuous first draft, so I'll leave those out for stuff that has individual chapters in the works

I also have different naming criteria for plots/second drafts/final drafts so this is going to be really fun to decipher (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

TEE!!!! i am coming directly into your askbox to scream about the latest rb! gojo fic! aND LIKE!!! the knowledge that you had posted it literally got me outta bed this morning and i read it on my phone with one hand as i was getting ready and the fic!! it beat me up!!! cut me bit by bit until i was only a pile on the ground!! dadjo is terrible for forcing them (or at least trying) to break up!! preying on the class difference and reader's insecurity over it!! honestly, if anything he should be impressed because reader is a very smart cookie and a hard worker. iirc they were working two jobs at one point??? VERY IMPRESSIVE. dadjo can't even do one job right smh.

he was soaked to the bone. yes. good. nothing like a sopping wet man on your doorstep. LMAOOO but. augh. when reader mentioned how his dad was involved gojo got so mad that i thought he was actually going to storm off (and then come back again) but luckily he didn't.

when he was yelling and demanding to know why reader broke up with him, i kind of thought of that piece where he convinces them to stay until morning and they finally make it official— when he's demanding to know why reader won't consider a relationship and he's almost yelling and reader tells him not to yell at them… and then here, the narration mentions how he never yells and like, i don't know if that was intentional or not, but if it was… well, he's commited so much about the reader to memory that it would make sense he'd remember something like that.

and then there's this line: they’re bright and kind and deeper than the ocean. but unlike the ocean, they’re not scary to fall into, to lose yourself in no matter how far you are from shore. that one made me think of the sunglasses piece because the same comparison is made in the narration— how gojo's eyes are like the depths of the ocean, but in that fic/drabble, they're something scary. and like. it's a very cool writing thing and it makes me wanna scream LMAOOO.

ANYWAY I'M SO GLAD THEY DIDN'T STAY BROKEN UP FOR LONG AND THAT DADJO GETS HIS. reader definitely should have talked to gojo, but they can make it up to him by remaining by his side for the rest of their life hehe. dadjo should just accept reader because like, at this rate, some disowning is going to happen and the gojo family will have no heir (either satoru disowns the family or they disown him) but he'll be okay because he has his brains and reader (or the grandparents will get involved and give dadjo what he deserves!!!)

this is probably way longer than the 30 tags that stupid tumblr ate, but honestly speaking, i absolutely love the rich boy! gojo au so much. so so so so much and i'm so glad that you've been kind enough to share it with us all! (low key i want to know more about the pre-relationship times… but i want to know it ALLLLLL)

omg but also. i feel like writing an angry gojo was new for once u know ?? bc he’s always been soooo patient w reader and always let them doubt him and their relationship and was so precious and sweet ab reassuring them that sometimes i rly sit there and think like. damn this boy rly been thru it 😭 he was head over heels from the start and he rly had to fight his way into their life SOBS so i was like for once we’re gonna get a not perfectly sweet and patient gojo. tonight he’s gonna be an angry and emotional wreck SOBS. it was fun tho writing him that was. it was cathartic in a way.

but reader should have sooo talked to him sobsob. i think honestly that gojo wouldn’t have really been kicked from the company / inheritance bc then who would get it you know ?? i think dadjo was more trying to prey on readers innocence / insecurities and make them feel like they were powerless and had no choice but to do what he says and hope he’d get away w it EXCEPT SATORU IS ONE DETERMINED BOY LMAOOOO so he definitely underestimated his own sons stubbornness fjsmfjsj

i’m glad they got back together tho. i say that like i didn’t plan for them to from the start 💀 but to be so honest with u at one point i was kinda stuck on how i’d make them meet and talk and how the whole resolution would even happen. i think it was a bit rushed but i was tired and i was like eh. ppl will get the idea. BUT IM GLAD THEYRE TOGETHER BC I WOULD DIE IF THEY WERENT

far left is an old oc some ppl may recognize, her name is hope loomis! Shes a (lvl 70) witchdoctor, blind, and captain of a pirate crew. shes no longer my main oc but i still love her and her crew :P

Since hes relevant to her ill go out of order and say him now: the one in the middle is lawrence nightingale, part of hope's crew, her best friend, a musketeer. (Hes my main pirate for playing, hes lvl 70) He has a bit of a sour disposition and he and hope argue a lot but they care for each other a lot. I also ship him with kane hehehe

Ok middle left is catalina, like i mentioned earlier. Actually ive posted him before, hes a catalan shapeshifter who likes to pretend to be a human amongst people to troll them mostly teehee :P hes a (lvl 46) witchdoctor in game but in his lore he just knows some magic.

Next to catalina is the aforementioned Mina mitchell, shes a (lvl 65) swashbuckler and an emo girl. I dont have much lore for her to be honest but shes just so cute and awesome. She has spiky short twin pigtails. I think ive posted a drawing of her on this blog before under her tag mina

Middle right (orange) is Maeve, shes part of my new main crew! (The other 2 arent in game) shes a (lvl 7, bc i KEEP REMAKING MY BUCKS) buccaneer. Shes also part fox and from marleybone! shes really cool and awesome and sweet and shes best friends with shannon (leader of her crew).

Right is Stormy Edwards, hes kinda new and also his character looks nothing like his actual design lol other than that hes green. Hes a privateer (lvl 7, again i keep remaking themmmm) and hes EVIL!<3 he also has a toxic gay thing going on with vito (witchdoctor with maeve and shannon) and hes just kinda fucked up :P

34: what are the hardest and easiest parts of the game for you?

OK SOOOOO I love the strategy of it all TBH. It was really hard at first but ive picked it up pretty well i think. The hardest part was figuring out how to do gear correctly and what stats to prioritize, which im probably still not perfect at but i think ive gotten it down now. I also hate ship fighting 😭 But yeah easiest is probably just combat i love it i love the battle system. And to be MORE specific ranged combat is easiest for me.

It’s time to talk about it

I’ve decided to publish that post I talked about the other day. I’ve noticed several other writers on here are making posts about lack of feedback and interaction and that they’re leaving or no longer writing. This is a topic that I’ve tried to not post a lot about because I didn’t want to seem ungrateful or annoying. But if there’s any time to talk about it, it’s now. I’ve put it below a cut because it is quite a long post with a lot of my emotions about tumblr and my blog. So buckle up, kids, ‘cause it’s a rollercoaster of feels.

My Experience as a Tumblr Fanfic Writer;

When I started this blog, I was fresh off of onedirectionfanfiction.com and 5sosfanfiction.com, where I never had many readers or any feedback. I got maybe 10 comments (they weren’t in-depth reviews, just ‘omg’ or ‘harry’s so hot’) in total from my dozens and dozens of long fanfics (some stories hitting over 100k words which I can’t even dream of now). Coming onto here, I didn’t think my writing was going to get much attention based on past experience. There was a handful of “big scenario blogs” and I liked and reblogged everything I enjoyed reading because that’s how I wanted people to interact with my content. I didn’t know how it felt to receive positive feedback but I wanted others to, even when they were already getting it from so many other readers. When I hit 500 followers, I thought that was it, I wasn’t going to get more followers/readers. I had readers requesting that I do requests and begging for more parts of stories meant to just be oneshots. I was so over the moon to be receiving that kind of love for something I enjoyed doing. I felt like I was finally good at something; I had a purpose for spending hours writing about people I admired and liked. I was getting messages almost everyday for two years and if I hadn’t posted in so long anons were in my ask box asking if I was still here. I had regular anons who went by cute little anon names for a short time. My notifications exploded so much that I had to turn off push notifications because my phone would not stop going off in classes. I cannot describe how happy I was in that time. I have been writing and reading fanfics since 2009 and I always wondered how it would feel to be one of the “popular” writers on a fic site, and during 2016/2017 I thought I achieved that based on the interactions I got. 

As I continued to write, I started to notice many of the fic writers I followed started making friends with other writers I followed. As someone who is very introverted, shy, and socially anxious (especially at this point in time of my blog), I wondered if any other writers would reach out to me and befriend me. No one ever really did, and I thought something was wrong with me. They had their group chats and inside jokes they’d post and tag each other. They would inspire each other to write things and bounce ideas off one another. I haven’t ever felt like I was a part of the kpop fanfic writing community; I was just kinda there. People knew my url but didn’t know me. I had mutuals who messaged me a few times, and then a while later I go back to see what they’re doing and they’re no longer mutuals with me. It shouldn’t have bothered me but it did. Was I annoying? Did they just not like me? Did someone else talk shit about me and then that person changed their opinion about me? I’ll never know because I don’t like confrontation. I have always felt kind of left out, and it reminded me a lot of my real life. Since 2015 when I started this blog, I’ve made one friend and I still talk to her to this day. At times, she was my only friend. She knows who she is, and I cannot say how grateful I am that she reached out to me.

Around 2018, interactions just kind of stopped. I became paranoid and frantic about how I could get back to where I was, but nothing I did worked. As I approached 17k followers, only needing two more to hit it, I began to lose followers by the dozens. I couldn’t figure out why. I was still posting stories but barely got feedback. I decided to stop writing for a bit and not many readers were concerned. It got to the point that I avoided getting on here because I knew I would only get upset and feel guilty by logging on. It felt weird because I had such a large following yet no one cared. And now, I sit at 16.4k followers who barely interact with my content. I don’t get messages about my content, and sometimes I get more than 5 notes in a day. I don’t feel motivated to write because who’s going to read it? I felt like I lost my purpose; it didn’t matter if I continued to write. My stories became shorter and more scarce. I moved to other platforms to see if engagement would go up, but it didn’t. It was pointless to post here and on other sites. I had a taste of praise and I miss it. When it stopped, I couldn’t figure out if I had done something wrong. I study consumer behavior and write papers about it for my Masters degree, and I still can’t figure out why fanfic readers don’t engage with authors on here. In merchandising, people are always willing to give their opinion on products whether it’s good or bad, so why aren’t fic consumers willing? Some writers I’ve read, who I watched grow in popularity and envied their readers interactions, are now in the same boat I’m in and I hate that this is happening to us. Some of them I’m shocked they are also dealing with this. We make this content for free, spending h o u r s to create it, and we get nothing in return. I loved being able to connect with my readers and feel their emotions about my stories. It made me feel fulfilled finally as an fic author.

Now, I can’t remember the last time I opened my scenario documents. How could something that I loved doing for so long become a burden? This blog caused some of my happiest moments and my saddest. Sometimes I debate deleting my account or logging off for good. But I can’t let go after all the effort I’ve put into my blog. 

Would I recommend becoming a Tumblr fanfic writer? Absolutely not. Do not make Tumblr your primary source where you post your stories. Focus on interactions and feedback from actual fiction websites, where it is meant to host those relationships.

This post isn’t meant to shame anyone or brag. I wanted to be real for a moment and tell my truth. So many writers randomly leave without a word, and I just can’t let myself do that. I want to be in the fandoms and contribute and have fun, but I feel like my time to do that has been over for a long time, like I don’t belong here anymore. I’ll still be around but I probably won’t plan to update stories, specifically on this blog. I will most likely post random oneshots on my ateez sideblog @alotofteez and my accounts on aff and ao3. I’ll still make photo edits every once in a while. I really didn’t think I’d make this sort of “goodbye” post because I had so many plans for this blog that just unfortunately never came to fruition.

1980′s horror film peter pevensie x reader is one one of my worst performing fics and I hoped it would do better. I actually really like this one and I find it cute! It’s def not my best writing but I still really like it!

honestly everything from nothing changed but everything’s different. I worked SO hard on those it’s insane. but... in part two I’m especially proud of this paragraph: 

Next to him, Vanessa stirred and rolled over with a grumpy look plastered on her features. The white silk sheets, which she had insisted they buy due to skincare and hair maintenance, flowed over the curves of her breasts like rolling hills of soft grass. Sirius allowed his eyes to follow the outline of Vanessa’s body; the slick material stuck to each curve, creating beautiful mountains and valleys of erotic skin. She sat up, making the delicate material fall down her golden body and expose her breasts and small waist. Everything about Vanessa screamed lustful fantasies and lace. 

I also adore this paragraph from forward to time past

Edmund’s words sounded odd coming from a child’s mouth. He spoke of a great king, yet couldn’t reach the top shelf and had to ask permission to go outside by himself. The child sized hands he now possessed couldn’t wield a sword, and he no longer wore a crown and shining steel armor; he dressed in play clothes and a yo-yo served as his only weapon. Now, Edmund played with small, wooden soldier figurines instead of leading actual soldiers into war.

Story:

“Watcha readin’?” You glance over Sam’s shoulder at his laptop that seems to display a large mass of text. No sooner have the words left your lips, Sam slams his screen down so you can’t see.

“N-nothing! Just… Research. Yeah… Research.” He stammers, nodding with approval of his final answer. You’d think for a man wanted for numerous crimes by the FBI he’d be better at lying.

“What research?” You ask in a honeyed tone, fluttering your lashes a little.

“Uh… Case stuff?” He asks more than answers. What is he hiding?

“What case? I thought we were laying low for a while.”

“It’s a uh… A ghost.” He reopens his laptop, screen now facing away from you making it impossible to snoop. That won’t stop you though.

“A ghost? What kind? Lemme see.” You make grabbing motions with your hands and swivel in your chair to get closer.

“The ordinary kind. It’s nothing.” Sam replies quickly, now visibly starting the sweat. A plan taking shape in your head, you decide to drop the subject with a much simpler way of finding what he’s hiding in mind.

As you listen intently for the sound of heavy feet and a door softly closing, you wait patiently hidden under your covers. You wait for five minutes after the click of the handle before tossing your covers aside and tiptoeing to the library. The lights are all still on and, luckily for you, Sam’s laptop has been left on the desk. Dancing with glee and mischief in your mind, you scurry to the chair to begin the snooping.

“Mornin’.” You yawn, stretching out your arms as you enter the war room.

“Er yeah mornin’… What’s this?” You try to hide your smile knowing full well what he’s talking about.

“I dunno. By the looks of things though Sam should.” You grin behind your cup of coffee, “Oh Sammy!” You raise your voice in a sing songy way.

“What are you shouting for? Everything okay?” Sam asks rapidly. Finally noticing the banner, his eyes widen and he forgets to breathe for a moment.

“Everything’s fine. Who’s Beka?” Dean questions through a mouthful of toast, reading off the giant banner you made overnight that clearly says in huge bold letters ’Sam loves Beka’.

“Um… She… I… Uh…” Sam struggles to find an answer with his still fast asleep brain.

“Yeah Sam, who is this Beka you love so much?” You no longer conceal your shit eating grin, “Actually, I think I might know her. I was doing some reading online and I found this-”

“Doctor! She’s a um doctor that I found. Online.”

“But where did you-”

“Dating website! She’s on a dating website.” Sam cuts you off abruptly, a real look of worry in his eyes. Dean just stares at the two of you, not wanting to get involved in another of your completely-platonic-yet-very-similar-to-a-husband-and-wife-argument arguments. Once he leaves the room, muttering something about a shower and weirdos, Sam leaps across the room to tear down the banner.

“You okay Sam? You seem a little on edge?” You ask, faux concerned. He just turns to you silently, nostrils flared. “Do you want me to leave the room so you can have more Beka time?”

“I’m going to give you five seconds headstart starting now.” You can almost feel the fury coming from him.

“Wait what?!”

“Times up!” And like a sprinter hearing the starting pistol, he comes speeding towards you. But, you’re equally as quick, turning on your heel and sprinting off into the bunker corridors.

Up ahead of you, Dean is just leaving his room, a bemused expression on his face watching the pair of you chase eachother.

“What the hell’s goin’ on?”

“Sam’s mad ‘cause I hacked his laptop and saw he was reading fan fiction about us.”

“Okay. I don’t know what you just said but you have fun with that.” He shouts to you as you disappear around another corner, closely followed by Sam.

“You are so dead when I catch you!” He hollers.

“If!” You screech back from somewhere deep in the bunker.

3. I may not be korean, but i’m well aware of some things about its culture and its places and people.
